At rocks
what they don’t tell you about your favorite science, is that one day, it’s going to get very hard and on that day
you will know what the wrath of the god who you used to love.
You will know a heartbreak founded in betrayal and misery.
you will cry into the arms of the entity that you used to love, as they twist their claws into your ribcage.
and my only wish for you, is that once your wounds heal, you realize that it’s claws will no longer hurt you like they did before.

❝ You know, I wish I could blame the latest bullshit of the month on whatever unseen force or indescribably entity decided to play with me like a chew toy but, no. It's just been human error. ❞ he clasped his hands together like a praying man and leaning into them, extended his thumbs to rest heavily against the sides of the bridge of his nose.
❝ Three families, Anita. Old families. Their foundations jostled overnight. The head of one dead, another lost an heir. ❞ one might have thought this would have excited the man and, were he behind it all in any capacity, it would have. As it stood, it was just one big mess he had to somehow figure out how to either clean up or walk away with clean hands.
❝ I didn't know John fucking Wick was an Inspired By film franchise. That's the only explanation I can come up with because whaaaaat the fuuuuck. ❞ he sits up, exhales low and tired. ❝ Sorry. This is where I'm supposed to go 'Oh, hey, girlie. I'm going great. How are you?' ❞ a vague gesture in her direction. ❝ So, how are you? ❞

I got food poisoned
That made me angry
So I call the ghost buster
"Hey Ghöüsbusteir man, mcdonalds have ghost in the burger"
"What the fuck ?"
You tell them "get down to McDonel and use the gun the burger has a ghost"
"WHAAAAAT"
THIS IS THE LAST TIME I GO TO MCDONKIES. THEY PUT FUCKING GHOST IN BURGER.
I WILL NOW GO SEE KENTUCKY FRIED MAN.
"JOKE'S ON YOU DUMBASS THE CHICKEN HAS GHOST TOO"
Why the fuck is all food full of ghost?
I call health inspector, no, I call Ghöüstbusteir, and I tell them "Destroy the city"

Oh whaaaaat the fuuuuck. That sounded like so much more work than Cruz had been anticipating for this.
Or...naaah. Actually, that just sounded like the amount of effort Kleo was willing to put into this thing. Which, wowie, she sure was good at this sort of thing, wasn't she? That picked up Cruz's spirits, being around someone who seemed to know what they were doing and were excited to do it.
"Wow, you almost make it sound like writing an essay could be fun," she said, shaking her head in awe at the other girl. "Okay sooo, you're saying that they just want us to write about whatever we want? So long it had something to do with one of our lectures? But that's...I feel like there's so many possibilities. What if I chose something that's, like, not what they're looking for at all?"

Hey
On another note
I would just like to point out that Megan being a small child, her mom being named Stacy, and her dad having been merged with a red-eyed demon at some point radiated huge Chase vibes for me.
I know it’s just a coincidence, but with game-Stacy being unfaithful to Demon Dad Luke, Megan having a rosary, it just feels like something in the realm of possibility for outcomes involving Chase and his family, especially if our favorite Sad Dad™️ gives in to Anti’s manipulation....
@chaoticcrimsonrose @rorald-spooks @ihaveanunhealthyteaaddiction @hotcocoachia and now you all must suffer with this cursed idea in your head for the next few days, too.

omg youve read orv............ (has read orv recently aand is insane about it now) what are your thoughts?
I love it! It left a giant hole in my heart, mostly because i used all of my time in a week to read it. Genuinely it's got concepts so unique I've never seen them anywhere else. Like, STORIES? AS FOOD? AS CURRENCY? AS MAGIC? AS LIFE? AS POWER? AS EXISTENCE? WHAT THE FUCK THAT'S SO COOL. There's also possibility but I don't understand it much lol.
It's got a pretty unique theme for its characters too. Y'know, the reader, character, and author stuff. I love how consistent it is! (Unless I missed a plothole or something). It's meta but that meta at the same time is literal? Which is super cool. As I'm writing this I just now realized the reason why Kim Dokja is the protagonist. Like whaaaaat that's so clever what the fuuuuck. I don't know if it's impressive because it's easy to impress me but. So cool. Like, he's a reader of the Survive in a Ruined World book, became a *o***********, a representation of us the actual readers, AND he's the POV we're reading from! And I love the ending where the book breaks the actual fourth wall and implies that us the readers are well okay that's spoilers.
I love the use of story "walls" as a thing inside the story as well. The fucking Wall between Good and Evil? It took me a bit to realize why that thing existed despite being kind of obvious lol. I love how the Walls both exist as legitimate entities and actual themes in the story (and present in most stories cause ya theyre universal themes). They're the representations of those themes but also enforce it! So nice. I like that.
On to the characters, my favourite is definitely Kim Dokja. It's hard to hate him when he's the glue to the found family. Frustrating how he represses every single emotion he has though. I remember the scene where Yoo Junghyeok was kind of breaking up with him before the Great War of Saints and Demons and he was crying about it, then fucking went "boo hoo i should ignore my emotions because its not useful right now". Like, babygirl... And you can tell he's very guarded of his emotions all the time when admitting that he wanted to live with everyone was a damn asstit slip up. Anyway, it's funny how Kim Dokja's is kind of a masochist. Reminds of of Cale from Trash of the Count's family. Haven't finished it yet though.
What I love about it is that it's unique and makes use of a lot of different ideas into a single story (hehe single story). I find it a little endearing (?) how the story would sometimes mention it was nearing the end chapters. Very cute. Ending was pretty cool as well. You don't see that often. It gives me Skyrim lore and Homestuck vibes.
I love how it ties everything up too! This thing needs that to survive, that thing needs this to survive, and yada yada. It's like a cool ecosystem! Except more abstract. Constellations, incarnations, scenarios, stories, sponsorships, the Star Stream, all in a single web of whatever the fuck. The only thing I'm confused about is the bureau. I get they're like Twitch Streamers and they stream stories and shit, but uuuueeeeeh? I don't know their origins exactly.
As for things that frustrate me... the queer baiting lmao. I can't tell if it's the type where the author is really baiting you or the type where they're wiggling their eyebrows because they coudn't publish without heteronormativity around. Also what the fuck happened with Jan Hayoung? That one got me confused. I don't really wanna get too into it though. They were just another one of the supporting characters that were mostly ignored unless the fight needed back ups.
So, yeah! Me thoughts on the whole thing. I loved it cause it had a whole lot of different ideas in a single story. Had unique ones which I've never seen before. Characters were cool. Many different dynamics which was nice. Since I don't know Korean I had to read the translated one, so a lot of subtext likely got lost on me. Emphasis on that one cause I don't clearly understand everything. Fun story, fun ending, just fun all around. Gotta interpret a lot of stuff when ya read though cause there ain't many details. But ya it's nice I liked it :3

So listening to the radio driving to work and they raised a topic that sits close to home... the things you do when you live alone. Now while I had housemates we tended to use different plates.
I have a lot of plates in my house and of all the plates I have I pretty much use the same one all the time, just you know the one on top of the pile. I use it, wash it, put it away. My plates have this totally cute blue chevron pattern on them, and as I thought about the chat on the radio while putting away my ONE plate I realized that the patterns slowly fading on this one plate....
Reality - I'm going to have to start rotating my plates....
