Tumgik
#wfc episode 2
What if TFP Soundwave is disabled and not simply "Decepticon of weird design"? Like, he must have taken some horrifing injuries in one of the battles that had resulted in the loss of his face and the need to rebuilt much of his body. Then he never pursued the reconstrucion of his face even when he could afford it because 1) His only S/O is Megatron and he doesn't really care how his soldiers look as long as they are competent and loyal 2)Soundwave himself ended up actually liking looking that way That's the way to explain why WFC and TFP Soundwave look so different despite being from very closely related continities.
Well from his concepts and pre-TFP designs, we can see his current build is a downsized version of his former self likely just to suit his new job of being their communications officer. However the idea that he was covering up facial injuries still makes sense as it could’ve been injured a long time ago even before current day.
Tumblr media
Your theory on being disabled from injury and having to replace/repair places stands to reason though as he was a gladiator alongside Megatronus.
And the part about not caring/not being able to fix his face is actually really good, I mean he was insanely loyal to Megatron and maybe that overpowered any want or need to go out of his way to get repairs.
The other option about him just liking that look on himself brings the mention that the autobots are scared of him to mind. Ratchet was even unsettled, the episode they had him captured— I don’t remember who specifically but somebody— asked if he was even Cybertronian. I wonder if he gets a kick out of that, looking like some sort of skinwalker amongst their kind or just finding it funny when others are like
I don’t know if you meant to send this to someone else cause I don’t usually get asks but I hope this was sufficient, thanks anon!

fvcked up bingo: idw or Earthspark Megastar (or both) and WFC Jetfire/Starscream ᕙ(☉ਊ☉)ᕗ
i'd love to answer this with a passionate ramble but unfortunately these are the 2 versions of megastar i know the least about so apologies if my answers are lacking 😓
earthspark:
Tumblr media
this continuity. sure exists.
i'm sorry to say that i've been avoiding any earthspark-related stuff ever since i first saw blue-eyed starscream in that teaser trailer that was posted to hype up the rest of season 1's episodes coming out. the reason? this continuity's starscream.
this starscream looked and smelled too much like the autobot starscream trope and it caused me to block every variation of the earthspark tag just to avoid getting jumpscared by him.
as for my opinions on this continuity's megastar: no. reformed old man megatron is a great character and deserves to be paired up with someone who is NOT this "Stop Me on fanfiction.net" expy pathetic misunderstood uwu bad boy bait. just. NO.
IDW:
Tumblr media
i don't have much to say because the only IDW TF comic series i've read in full are MTMTE & lost light but: i think they should've ended up together, heal from their trauma together, apologize & forgive the wrongdoings they've inflicted on eachother and along the way give starscream a proper redemption arc like megatron
WFC skystar:
Tumblr media
this is gonna be my answer to every autobot x starscream ship that gets sent my way (MINUS windblade x starscream. that ship is cool and sexy so it can stay). i'm sorry but they're all my NOTPs.
and nothing is a bigger NOTP for me than this ship. starscream deserves to be with someone that isn't a living piece of white bread.
i wish skyfire never existed.
sorry that the majority of the post turned out pretty negative but i just can't stand like 2 out of these 3 ships :(

Compiled a list of all the different scoped weapons we’ve seen Arcee use in canon, for reasons, does anybody have any to add? It’s really interesting how vastly different the designs are. Side-mounts, holosight-esque, and whatever the scrap is going on with Earthspark Arcee’s snub-scope. An image of her from WFC the videogame with any of the scoped guns would also be appreciated (or really anything of her from any of the videogames with a scoped weapon)
Close up of images in order of appearance below
Tumblr media
IDW1/IDW2005 Arcee (in 2012, three full body reformats so far on her gender journey, currently with a cybertronian car alt-mode) with side-mount stock over shoulder two-hand rifle in Robots in Disguise #9, “Night and the City.”
Tumblr media
Same Arcee (2013) with a massive over the shoulder missile launcher or cannon, in Robots in Disguise #23, Dark Cybertron #3, “Winners and Losers.” Honestly this thing may have a scope but it sure seems like she’s eyeballing until she has the go ahead to fire. This weapon is called the Superior Cannon in Wave 2 (2019) of the now canceled Transformers Trading Card Game by Wizards of the Coast.
Tumblr media
Forged to Fight Arcee (present in the game at launch in 2017, basically T30 Generations Arcee but lankier with long arms) kneeling to fire her stock mounted round scope blue sniper rifle with a side mounted red laser sight as part of her special attack. The front of the barrel lights up blue when it fires... and what is actually fired is a metal bullet! A nice surprise from a G1-stylized character. Image sourced from this video.
Tumblr media
IDW1/IDW2005 Arcee (2018, now five full body reformats so far on her gender journey, currently with an earth car alt-mode that was inspired by the Lotus Elite, this is the form she has at the end of the series we will go off about this some other time) with a fold-up/modular designated marksbot rifle looking gun with a squarish digital sight, in Unicron #2, “Stranger Eons.” It’s funny, we never see her IDW1 iteration shoot any of these three, but we do see her shoot her guns with only iron sights or none at all iirc? IDW2 on the other hand we’ll talk about in a bit, but first, Cyberverse Arcee!
Tumblr media
Cyberverse Arcee (in 2020) in Cyberverse Season 3 Episode 13 “The Judge” readying a very large blaster with a drum ammunition barrel (when she isn’t shooting her blaster pistols or in melee, shooting a gun with a drum barrel seems to be her thing, specifically, very large guns, usually minigun/autocannon/rotary cannon sort of deal) that has a sloped forend and ridges under the front of the gun barrel, and either has a narrow scope or ?ammo counter?/probably a scope above the ammo barrel. (remembered her shooting this thanks to @arceespinkgun ‘s post of gifs of Shadow Striker and Arcee fighting together in this episode after seeing the G1 images they reblogged this post with, thank you!!) She also never uses the scope when she shoots the thing in her exuberant battle delight, unlike somebody...
Tumblr media
IDW2/IDW2019 Arcee (2021, notes on reformats later)*, has a cybertronian look the whole series), aiming her blocky anti-armor rifle while crouching, the scope is kind of holosight-like, in Transformers #35, “Lord of Misrule: Sea of Rust II”. She shoots this thing several times in the series and gosh you don’t want to get hit by the brief beam of plasma that cuts through a Seeker like butter when she pulls the trigger. RE reformats: possibly one, twice if she did off-screen before series start for trans reasons? like she had a look more like Earthrise Arcee at the beginning mixed with IDW1 but then they went for the An Arcee Sort of Day look that is basically a WFC Chromia/Nightbird retool with outer armor of the backpack made into back stacks instead after Galaxies was over, maybe because she joined the Autobots and wanted to change her look or literally armor up, or the artists just felt like it, we don’t know but would like to know. In any case her alt mode went from a sci-fi convertible to an armored fighting car look. (which we are the only person we know of with a custom or toy of at all so far as of early 2023)
Tumblr media
Then from this promotional image from Nickelodeon we have Earthspark Arcee (2023) smiling while one-handing a giant aft pistol that’s all rounded and curved with a TAIL FIN SCOPE in a way that looks like her G1 car mode she doesn’t have since she has a muscle car mode instead. Okay dear you’re cool as frag for having a gun that looks like the alt mode you don’t have while you rock the boxier one you have instead. I’m so trans that I can hold a version of my old body in my hand and shoot it. Like okay we’re just waiting for her to say she’s trans now right that’s the consensus- anyway about the scope:
HOW DOES SHE AIM DOWN THAT SCOPE. IF THAT’S WHAT IT IS. LIKE WHAT IS HAPPENING? Like this goes past what her IDW2 rifle’s scope does which lets her comfortably lean her head down a little while resting the gun against her neck guard armor- but this is like, plonking your head down to aim forward unless... unless she eyeballs the scope itself or links up with it via her hand. Which she could. Would not put past sage in martial arts, ethics, and bullshitting Earthspark Arcee to have a weapon that defies expectations while showing her history in the palm of her hand. Gods why do we feel like crying over this promo image, anyway that’s a wrap on this until y’all send us more images.
Also we found the gun thanks to @fancyrobotenthusiast ‘s post of the image and then we did a reverse google image search while we started compiling the other images finding that inspired, so thank you, you by chance gave our trans brain something to do for a few hours that has made us very happy after

You know... I think my personal top 5 Transformers stories in no particular order are:
Beast Wars
IDW2
Bumblebee 2018/ROTB
G1 Sunbow cartoon
Earthspark
BW just overall has really good and consistent character writing and development with a nice balance of silly kids show to serious thought-provoking story. The graphics and rendering are indeed dated but the actual animation looks better than a lot of later shows (TFP, CV, and ES are some of the only computer animated TF shows that hold up against it). Say what you will of Blackarachnia/Silverbolt, Blackarachnia never once takes a back seat to SB (he's her malewife) after they get together and her story is always hers (unfortunately rare for m/f ships). Everyone wants the Dinobot arc even if they can't figure out why it was so good (I'd say WFC was the closest to replicating the true spirit of it). It's also what I grew up with.
IDW2 has so many female characters, well-known and obscure, and I love them all (no Furman nonsense here!). Plus, good queer ships right off the bat with none I dislike. I also find the setup for Cybertronian society really interesting and I enjoyed the exploration of a society that has so heavily defined itself by its war trauma. I appreciated the handling of Geomotus. Also, I very much appreciated how fair it was to organic races (pity it was canceled before Ruckley could include humans). I also felt like this series had a better handling on how to make safety vs freedom a more balanced argument (for example, I did sympathize with the struggle of the Constructicons, but WHEW! That's a good show as to why leaders held the people back even if it was a bit self-fulfilling prophecy).
BBB/ROTB are what we wanted for live action films. They're not high art, but they have good characters, fun action, decent pacing, nice character designs, and touching moments. The human drama doesn't overshadow the Transformers story the fans are here for.
G1 is the OG, what can I say? It's an 80s show meant to sell toys to kids, but it's still good (as long as you remember what it is). While there certainly are some episodes that are very... Episode, there are also some legitimately good stories. Also, I personally loved season 2 just being a long string of character vignettes (the two Tracks episodes are top tier as well as the Blaster. There are a lot of good organic characters, including some really good female characters. It's a fun time, overall.
The second youngest Transformers series has had a pretty strong showing for a first season (the season finale was rushed and wonky, but that reeked of the showrunners getting yanked around without a clear answer on whether they got a season 2 or not and, unfortunately, not unusual for the franchise). The animation is top notch, blending 2D and 3D really well. The fight choreography is exciting. The family dynamic is heartwarming. I extra love Swindle here with his brother, Hardtop. The hints of the past have been enticing and I'm curious as to what further reveals are in store.

What’s your favourite transformers series I’m curious
(Also have you been able to watch armada yet because you should I got sites if you need it)
Hello hello there~
That's a difficult question since I really like everything but for different reasons... also because I have a love/disappointment relationship with every single piece of this franchise 😔👍🤙
I watched all the movies, Prime, animated, Earthspark, the Netflix trilogy, half of rid2015, 2/3 of rescue bots, and I'm finishing the g1 cartoon. ( I also saw sparse episodes from Masterforce and victory, but one day, I'm gonna approach the Japanese continuity from the start... one day)
I have a soft spot for G1 because in this time of my life, I need silliness and plot bunnies. G1 is covering for my needs, so atm I'm biased 😭😅
Ask me the same question in a couple of months, and the answer will probably change
2 years ago, I would have answered, "i will never anything more than Prime." Ooooh, I really love that series. Animated is at the same level as Prime to me and broke me just as much...
Also, I know it's controversial, and I can see the very obvious flaws, but... I feel like the Netflix trilogy was... good. Listen, other than the comics and maybe the wfc videogames, I feel like I've never felt the war more real. Like yes, please. I know many people judge it as angsty and stuff, but hear me out! SOME ASPECT OF THE SHOW WERE ACTUALLY PRETTY EFFING AWESOME RAAAAAAAAAH
About armada, sure thanks! I'm planning to see it in Italian, in English and subbed to see the differences and I have to start somewhere :D
Thank you my pirate comrade 🏴‍☠️🦜☠️

i’ve been working on watching through Beast Wars after watching war for cybertron trilogy and i’m really glad i did wow
kingdom was the best part of wfc trilogy cause stuff, like, actually happens, but it doesn’t really capture what beast wars was about
i tried watching beast wars about 6-7 years ago and was immediately turned off by the animation (and also checked out the entire series from the library for some reason, there was no way i was finishing all that in 2 weeks), but once i got used to it it’s actually really good
only got two episodes left wish me luck (after i’ll check out beast machines which looks like an entire fever dream)

Another stupid little list to add to this blog, except this times its cities and some territories Feel free to send me corrections and information Everything I have found is based on the Transformers Wiki and may be unclear or incorrect- but it's really all I got. Key Codes: All information with unclear sources will be marked with a (?) All Transformers Wiki Information will be marked with a (W) All information that comes from comics will be (C) All information that comes from episodes will be (E) Other sources will be granted (OH)
Other information I've noticed x BW uprising and IDW show up a lot City Borders (will be written. eventually.) Vos (W) "Vos is one of Cybertron's many city-states. It borders Tarn, presumably close to Iacon's borders. Vos is rich in energy sources, granting it independence from the other city-states." -(W) Continuities: UK Marvel, Official Gen 2 Annual, 2005 IDW, Beastwars Uprising, WFC trilogy, 2021 IDW Beast Wars, Live-Action, Aligned Novels Yuss (W) "Yuss is a small town in the Stanix region of Cybertron. Yuss is a peaceful town largely untouched by war (Stanix was conquered early in the war and the Decepticons moved on). Its inhabitants go about their simple lives in and around the village, clothed in colorful metallic fabrics. Four million years ago, Yuss was located just three hics from Fort Scyk. Because transformation was invented at the outset of the war which quickly passed them by, it is likely that the inhabitants of Yuss did not have the ability to transform. In the modern era, Yuss is deep within the Acid Wastes." -(W) Continuities: Marvel The Transformers, 2005 IDW, Ask Vector Prime, TFA, Beast Wars uprising, 2019 IDW Locations: The Amprodome, Justice Building Acid Wastes (W) Not a city per-say, but worth mentioning "The Acid Wastes span most of the Stanix region in south-west Cybertron. They are a blasted, unforgiving landscape; contaminated by neutronic fallout, wracked by earthquakes, freak weather conditions, and of course acid rain. The neutronic fallout in the Acid Wastes can produce severe allergic reactions in some Transformers." -(W) Continuities: Marvel The Transformers, 2005 IDW, 2015 RID, RID shorts, Cyberverse
Protihex (W) "Protihex is one of Cybertron's many city-states and spans the Sector Six-Zero or Sector Zero-Six area. It neighbors one or more of the following city-states: Iacon, Uraya, and Praxus, making it a candidate for the city-states the Tri-Torus Loop leads to. Also, it just might be located above the Well of All Sparks." -(W) Continuities: Dreamwave G1, 2005 IDW, Beastwars Uprising, WFC trilogy, Live Action, TFA Locations: An Autobot Command post, Protihex Medical Mechanics University Uraya (W) "Uraya is one of Cybertron's city-states. It is the largest of the Tri-Peninsular Torus States, and borders Iacon, Altihex, and the Neutral Territories" -(W) Continuities: Dreamwave G1, 2005 IDW, Beast Wars Uprising, 2019 IDW, WFC trilogy marketing, Live-Action, Exodus Simfur (W) "Simfur is a city on Cybertron, located nearby Metrotitan." -(W) Continuities: Live-action, Live-Action comics, Aligned Cont Family, Beast Wars Uprising Locations: Simfur Temple I have like 100 more entries to write down the info for and frankly I'm getting bored so I'm listing names here until I can get to them Polyhex | Rust Sea | Nova Cronum | Thunderhead Pass | Tagan Heights | Praxus | Kalis | Crystal City | Helex | Stanix | Tesarus | Thetacon | Tarn | Iacon | Gygax | Ankmor | Altihex | Axiom Nexus | Mebion

re: transformers opinions: would you rank each canon’s version of Ultra Magnus from favorite to least favorite??
Thank you! ~
SURE THING- No. 1 WFC Magnus This is the Magnus that made me love the character as much as I do. I loved his short part of the story, his dynamic with Megatron, and his ultimate wish to simply have peace again. I especially loved his belief in Megatron's good heart and his attempts at re-sparking their lost friendship, tragic as it was to see Megatron reject him. The fact that Megatron himself seemed very attached to him and even felt immense guilt added to this. My only complaint is that Ultra Magnus didn't get a moment to talk to Megatron at the end, like Elita and Optimus. Megatron deserved such a moment more than Optimus and I will forever be salty about it- 2. G1 Magnus He's funny, heroic, down to earth, strong, just sweet to see on-screen! ~ I loved his dynamic with Roddy, his personality, and his role in the story!
Can't forget his super sweet rivalry with Cyclonus UvU
He's not that deep since this is G1, but he's everything I'd wish for.
3. RiD01 Magnus He's the outlier-Magnus, the bitchy one, you might say. And I still love him because he's such a fun character and because he brings much needed excitement into the show! He's mean, arrogant, proud, a lone wolf, tsundere, and also gay for sweet bois!
Also, I love that he is Optimus' brother! Adds a lot to Optimus' character as well ~
4. Dreamwave Magnus Couldn't do much with him at first, but it became very clear that his heart was in the right place. He started being a bit of an antagonist at first, especially towards Optimus, his brother, but it was clear that he did what he thought was right.
And then he and Optimus got to finally fight together and save each other's life! Reconciliation! THE GOOD STUFF-
He ultimately aint that high because I found the story in general a little weird and hard to follow. Dreamwave itself wasn't that much of a fun read to me. Magnus was my favourite part honestly.
5. TFP Magnus I don't have much to say about him, honestly. Like his design, like his general personality, but he simply doesn't do enough to make me love him.
6. Headmasters Magnus Sadly, he just doesn't do much apart from establishing a rivalry with Sixshot and then dying 24 episodes later x'D I mean I like both scenes, but its not enough.
7. TFA Magnus Eh? He just aint doing much, less than TFP Magnus. And I'm not a fan of his role in the story. I enjoy Magnus mostly for his second-hand role, and I think he works best when paired with another character. All on his own, he's just meh.

Okie u can ignore this if u want of course but I'd be curious to hear abt why u hated Netflix WFC so much? Bc that seems to be a Super common fan opinion of the series but I don't rlly have any context as to why bc I'm a rlly new TF fan and WFC was actually my first ever TF media (unless u count the 1st Michael Bay movie when I was like 10 or whatever lol). And tbh I ended up rlly liking the netflix trilogy! But I have a feeling that's bc its literally the first thing I ever saw lmao. Thanks <3
Hey, first off, welcome to the fandom anon, since that wasn't that long ago and all! I hope you have a great time with us in Robot Hell TM! :)
Secondly, my dislike of WFC is definitely in part that WFC just... isn't really 'for me', I'll be honest. Like literally, I'm not the target demographic they had in mind for this show. Which probably sounds kind of weird, because WFC definitely targeted a) adult fans and b) people who are Nerdy TM about TF, both of which are me. However, when it comes to TF cartoons, I'm like... here for the kid stuff. I really like when TF, at least on television, is for kids first and foremost! So that element already just personally didn't vibe with me, and that's really a subjective thing.
In terms of why I really disliked it rather than just going 'eh', it's... mostly the pacing. Honestly. It's a much slower paced series than I really enjoy, and I felt like if they had halved the run time per series, or maybe even done it as three 'TV movie' style specials, it would have worked a lot better. Now, a lot of people can look past that, which is cool! However, as someone who almost never watches TV series because they take too much of my time, pacing is like, one of THE biggest dealbreakers for me in any show, so again, that's as much a me thing as anything else, haha.
I honestly can't really speak to the overall 'quality' of the show because the above means that all I really bothered with were 2 episodes of the first series, 1 episode and a couple sporadic scenes of the second, and... I think the same for the third. IDK. Not my bag! When I bounce off something I just go watch something else, haha, life is short.
(Still want the Ratchet stuff from s1 to come back somewhere though. Neutral Ratchet... that was a REAL nice idea.)
Also, just wanna say, it can sometimes suck to love something it feels like most of the fandom hates, but there's definitely other WFC fans out there. I promise not everyone hates it, anon, haha. I don't think you're 'missing' anything, you just like something some other people don't. (As someone who insists the Unicron Trilogy is mostly fun ACTUALLY, FANDOM, trust me, I can relate!)

Transformers Siege (WFC) character review!(2/2)
Red Alert!!;
Tumblr media
He was more involved with Elita’s team towards the end of season two. I wasn’t gonna talk about him, but looking back- Red Alert is not only a FINE piece of ass, not only does he get a good one liner involving his own name, but this dude just fucks. Like he's got that vibe. 7/10 for sexy doctor vibes and contributing to shit to the team.
Ultra Magnus!!;
Tumblr media
Okay, Ultra Magnus kinda swapped roles in the same way Skyfire does. As in, his relationship with Megatron is a LOT like Optimus’s and Megatron’s relationship in tfp. As in, Ultra Magnus still cares for Megatron so much, he becomes Megatron’s prisoner, and even refuses to shoot him. He’s stubborn, but in a noble sense. 7/10, because he gave Megatron such a middle finger before he died, and I love it when a character does that.
Sound Blaster!!;
Tumblr media
This dude was in ONE episode. And I loved him in it. You kidding? Big boss dude that has a Soundwave complex from being one of his clones? Loved him. Good colors, pretty good voice, and I kinda wished he was a recurring bad guy, because mob boss characters just fucking get to me. 7/10.
Peg leg!!;
Tumblr media
Not his official name, and he’s a minor character. But I still wanna talk about him, because of the ark he plays in Megatron’s story. To cut it short, Peg Leg was a bot who worked at one of the power plants for Megatron, and he was SO devoted to him. Like he REALLY felt the cause with him, felt as if Megatron was some sort of savior to him. Seriously, this episode, this CHARACTER, gave me so much angst, it really, REALLY hurt to see him essentially be killed off for Megatron’s plan. He’s cute, I love him, he’s IMPORTANT to Megatron’s story, 8/10, still not fucking over it.
Skylynx!!;
Tumblr media
Another character that only came out in one episode, I still wanted to address him and his ark for Optimus. He wanted to carry the Matrix, but because he was acting the hell up, Alpha Trion sent him to unspace, where he spent who knows how long reflecting on his actions. Because of this, he was able to help Optimus think, reflect, and make his way out of unspace in order to find the allspark. The episode in question was honestly kinda huge for Optimus, and I really appreciate a proud character being made to be so humble for this situation. 7/10.
Dinobot!!;
Tumblr media
The guy we were ALL fucking excited about when he was teased at the end of season 2. This dinobot, instead of switching sides like in beast wars, stayed primarily with the predacons, up until his dying moments, and they handled his process in a very unique, and kinda fascinating way. They had Airrazor sort of talk to him about making his own choices, and I really appreciated that. I think my only complaint about his character is the fact that unless you’ve seen beast wars, you can’t fully appreciate this character as much. His VA is a bit different (not that it’s bad, I just miss the snarling), and his ending, while it did do something to me, wasn’t NEARLY as powerful as the beast wars version. At least they didn’t revive him in this one, I’ll give them props for that. 7/10. Not bad, but I prefer beast wars by a landslide (though DAMN they make him look good in this show).
Blackarachnia!!;
Tumblr media
Sneaky fem fatale gone LESBIAN on our asses. Seriously, girl comes off as almost SCARED of hetero relationships, and while I did ship Blackarachnia and Silverbolt back in the day, I REALLY appreciate seeing her not only calling Arcee cute, but SMOOCHING Airrazor. Tigatron’s gf now has a gf, and everyone is okay with this. We love it, she’s sneaky, she’s gay, she’s kinky, and we WISH we could look as she does. 10/10, LOVE watching her on screen, and I wished she could smooch on the lips like she deserves.

question for the transformers fandom
Why aren’t there more crossovers fan fictions between the shows?
like WHY? In my 3 years in this fandom I have only found 2! TWO AND THIS FANDOM IS LIKE 30 YEARS OLD!! WHERE IS THE CROSSOVER FAN FICTION?
I mean, cyberverse LITERALLY had an episode where they met Autobots form another reality and you are really telling me, (who just jumped back into the fandom), that that episode aired a year ago and that there's is not A SINGLE FIC were those other Autobots  they met are the team from TF: Animated? or TFP?? OR WFC?? Even Beast Wars or G1??
like... Do I have to write it myself?
I mean, not even a shatter glass crossover for that episode, and Shatter Glass seems to be a really popular thing.
Like, am I really the only one that loses sleep thinking about the interactions between TF: Animated team and the Autobot team in WFC?
Am I the only one that NEEDS to see Tf: Cyberverse Wheeljack and Skockwave interacting with their Prime versions?
I NEED whatever version of Chromia to meet TFP Arcee, and the Cyberverse Arcee to meet TFP Arcee.
I really want Bee-Verse Bumblebee to meet G1 Bumblebee? idk why... I need them. Or RCA Bumblebee to met with TPF Bee, but that is more time-travel thing which is also rare to find.
But to be honest, the fact that there is not a single fic where baby Ratchet (A.K.A Cyberverse Ratchet) and grandpa Ratchet (A.K.A Animated)  met each other is a sin to this fandom.
I said what I said,
This franchise has too many continuities and we don’t mix them up enough.

Another TF observation that caught my fancy was a revelation during a recent Con this past weekend where it was revealed a pitch for a Legacy adaption does exist! However it was passed by Netflix, which leads me to wonder of the War For Cybertron trilogy actually performed all that well. I hear Kingdom did poorly, and I’ve wondered how much of that was people getting fed up with WFC’s nonsense or sheer rejection of the Beast Wars aspect of it because “Ew, Beast Wars” and/or “Ew, they RUINED Beast Wars.”
Still the observation it was passed by Netflix specifically is interesting. I’m assuming despite it all Hasbro was ok with the pitch, so maybe they’re considering other options on where to take it later? (Feels like a no brainer, if it actually gets made, they’ll just dump it on Paramount+ anyway.)
Pry a safe assumption to explain all the crossover stuff this time, it’s Unicron making another attempt at… whatever it was he was doing in WFC, causing Prime characters among others to leak into the WFC universe, with Optimus and Megatron reuniting post war to put a stop to Unicron’s nonsense. Also the return of Nemesis and Galvatron in whatever they’ve been reformatted into for round 2. I heard a theory the forms might’ve been Laser Rod Prime and Dragon Megatron since their toys are in Legacy (the later is a rumor but still, where do you go from Galvatron anyway? No Battlestars doesn’t count in this case).
I want to be clear I have no desire for more of DeSanto’s grungy, Uber dark for darkness’ sake, slow mush mouthed nonsense and I’m actually quite pleased Netflix turned them down.
Separate tangent, but this is why I don’t get why people say the Cyberverse staff should take over, because WFC had some of the same people and some of the worst episodes were written by CV staff. I don’t think this would really change anything, beyond being a wee bit chipper maybe?
So for now we seem to be spared from a DeSanto brand version of Legacy, though I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest of it came to fruition on Paramount+ during the second phase of Legacy (whatever that winds up being).
Plus, we’ve seen Beast Wars fans agonize over the rubbish characterizations and voice acting, i can only cower in fear at just what horrible decisions would be made to rile up Prime fans if Knock Out and Arcee are done poorly (and killed pathetically).

Heyo! I've now adopted you as my younger sibling!! I was wondering if you've seen any of the other transformers series!
HELLO
HI
I hope you're doing well!
Why yes, I have seen other transformers series. I've just about watched season 2 and 3 of TF: Animated (I can't find season 1, but I've watched the first episode.) So far it's really neat, and I enjoyed watching it! I think Prowl and Jazz are pretty neat, so I guess they're my favorite characters.
I tried watching G1 but I didn't really like it all too much, so I didn't delve too deep into it. ( G1 just felt more like a chore to do instead of a nice show to watch... But I watched enough know just a BIIIT about it... ) I like Bumblebee and Skyfire a lot!!
I'm thinking of trying to watch Armada, and perhaps Cyberverse if I can find some place or platform to watch them on.
I also watched WFC at one point, but I wasn't really paying attention so I have absolutely no idea what's going on. I did watch Rescue Bots a couple years ago, but I don't really remember too much of it. Nor did I watch the entire series, I know a BIT about it, though.
As for transformers series that I've watched completely, I've seen TFP ( first show that I saw, ) RID 2001 ( English dub, ) RID 2015 ( Y'know the one with crappy OOC Bumblebee, ) Bayverse ( didn't like it too much, ) and Bumblebee 2018.
Bayverse spoilers beneath this cut. At this point I just ramble about my thoughts and such, not much to it.
ALSO, I find it really hilarious how in like the end of the fourth movie, Optimus just blasted off into space and then just flipping froze. Then Quintessa bitch slapped him in the fifth movie. Not to mention after they kill Quintessa, Cybertron's just SITTING there in space, RIGHT next to Earth. A good portion of the world's like, blocked by Cybertron. Surely that must have SOME impact on Earth, right? Right??
