wesker’s belief in science is actually quite different from his predecessors (oswald spencer & dr. wesker) and while it does fall into the category of eugenics, wesker is more grounded on natural selection which is commonly known as “survival of the fittest.” survival of the fittest meaning that certain individuals are just better suited for certain environments (due to genetics) and are more likely to survive in those environments than others. therefore, to wesker, it makes them superior. there is nothing that wesker says or does in RE5 that even suggests that his scientific beliefs are rooted in racial discrimination. his predecessors, on the other hand, who created the wesker project and procured the children for the experiment were incredibly racially and financially biased. they picked children to adopt for the wesker project based on their parents’ contributions to mankind. they picked children who were all blonde haired and blue eyed and white. wesker had nothing to do with this. he was just a child that was, unfortunately, picked and essentially sold off by his parents. if anything, wesker hates people. he has a very distorted perception of human beings, especially as someone who has suffered at their hands (not that he’s aware of that fact) and as someone who doesn’t consider himself human at all. as a scientist, wesker is a firm believer in objectivity. any bias or inequality is not true science in his eyes which is why the uroboros project is so important to him. it's a true project of natural selection that he believes will make the human race better in the long run. there is absolutely no bias in this project, simply that, some people will live and most will die.

I'm pretty sure most people who've read my Weskennedy fics don't know the only Resident Evil games I've played are half of RE1, Leon A in RE2R and I fear-quit Claire B when I got stuck between 3 lickers & Mr. X. I was kiting him around the west office and had to close the game bc I almost had a genuine panic attack lmfao. I can't play horror games—and, no, Dead by Daylight isn't a horror game, it's a party game, so it doesn't count.

(I characterized Leon & Wesker by reading their perk descriptions/quotes in DbD, watching cutscenes from RE1/RE2R/RE5, reading their most iconic quotes and biographies, and doing my best to crawl into their heads and rub my grubby little hands on their brains. So yeah. That's my secret shame lmfao)

Doing more hc for weskers opinions on various games I have because I think they're funny

For honor - he's too slow and gets bodied when he goes against real people so he gets mad and doesn't like the game (probably is ass at the campaign too)

Persona 3 - either a he rage quits at the emperor and empress (cus I fucken did) or by 2-3 hours in he's already memorized the whole attack system, every enemy he has seen, and their weakness

He probably speed runs Tartarus and absolutely just speeds through that shit

FNAF 1 - either a he has no reaction to the jumpscares or he screams as loud as possible the first time he gets one

He'll deny it though and go "that was the game."
