Smth so deeply emotional about lycanthropy or whatever. Like a metaphor about the absolute visceral horror of change or smth? Or like maybe the fear of ones self? Like a queer and/or mentally ill metaphor waiting to happen? Whatever, just a silly thought haha, nvm.

(This is absolutely not just a silly, offhand thought. For the love of god ask me more about the metaphorical nature of lycanthropy that is so commonly overlooked by that of vampirism, which is cool in its own sense, but not nearly as devastating imo)
