You could already feel it.

The sensation that you were being watched lingered for a while now. And it only made you more tense the further you walked into the forest. But you wouldn’t have expected to hear the growls of a large beast.

It sounded like a cat’s, though..it was deep and ferocious, like something you’d hear from tigers or lions. 

Yet last time you checked..they didn’t inhabit this forest at all.

With a shaky sigh, you finally turned around to face the dark overgrowth, shining your flashlight and standing confidently. “J-Just come on out, alright? I know you’ve..y-you’ve been stalking me. Cut it out.”

The bushes rustled a bit, before suddenly a large black mass with green eyes sprang out. But it abruptly stopped, claws curling into the dirt as it stared at you, jaws dripping with saliva.

You could only gawk and drop your flashlight as you stared right back at it. ‘It’s..a panther..but it’s huge and standing like a person. How’s that possible?’

Soon enough, though, you got your answer as the panther-like beast suddenly became smaller, before it shifted into a handsome but naked man with brown hair and a trimmed beard. His whole body was littered with faint scars. There was one on his neck that was fairly bright red, though he didn’t seem to be alarmed by it.

He seemed angry, but when you flinched back as he took a step towards you, his expression softened. “Please don’t be scared of me..”

You blinked, although you averted your eyes in favor of picking up your flashlight.

“And don’t run, alright? Ya don’t need to run from me.“

“I-I’m not,” you muttered lowly, only to hear him huff.

“Look at me when ya say that so I know you’re not lyin’.”

“Well it’s hard to when your uh..junk is showing. Here.” You removed your jacket and held it out to him. “Just put it on for now. Then we can talk.”

After a few moments, you felt the jacket being taken from your hands. Only then did you look to see him put it on and zipper it up, before he gazed at you. His eyes were bright green.

“So you’re some kind of shape-shifter?”

“Close. I’m like a werewolf, but a werepanther instead.” He showed off his fangs for a brief moment, before closing his mouth.

“….oh!” You smiled a bit. “That’s pretty cool. It must be fun running around here as a were..panther and-”

“Not when everyone ya ever met’s scared of ya..” The man huffed, putting his hands in the jacket’s pockets. “This sounds pathetic but…I-I’ve just been lookin’ for a friend and..I don’t..really know how to do that.”

“So you just creep up on people?”

He shrugged. “More or less. I understand if ya think I’m a fucking freak for jumpin’ out at ya and…being naked and all that.”

With a slight pout, you walked closer to him. “It was a little weird, but..I don’t think you’re a freak. But if you wanna make friends, learning their name first is important. So..”

You put your hand out. “I’m [y/n], and yours is…?”

His eyes widened at your question, though when he looked at your hand, he was confused. “I’m Anti. What’s…? Oh..” Then his face became flushed, before he lowered his head and began..rubbing his scruffy beard against your palm.

“Uh..” You chuckled at the action, hesitantly scratching the trimmed hairs. Almost immediately he started purring. “Okay, I guess this is happening.”

“I get the habit from Marvin. Stupid little kitty cat.” He grumbled, raising his head back up. “Well, are we friends now?”

“Yeah.” You smiled once more. “I’m happy to be your first official friend, Anti.”

Jack was practically drooling as he ran over to you on all fours, eventually coming to a stop to nuzzle you.

You chuckled and rubbed his ears, bringing your hands down to his fuzzy cheeks. "Hey, Jack. How's my good boy?"

At the question, the brown werewolf's ears perked as he barked and licked your face. You kissed his forehead, feeling his arms curl around you before he snuggled his head into your neck.

"You seem excited. Did something happen?"

Jack just shook his head and squeezed to tighter. His tail never ceased its wagging.

Maybe he was simply excited to spend time with you. But if that's the case then...you considered yourself to be extremely lucky to have this creature love and adore you.

Inspired by @clanwarrior-tumbly 's wereseptic AU there's a Werefox Chase. I just love foxes little too much to not even try to draw him so here I go 😀 I draw him with yellow-greenish fur on top of his head to resemble his real hair.

Ooooh~ In that case, could I request a story where his werewolf blood finally awakens? Like, maybe something happens with the other Septics and it triggers his first change as a defense mechanism. Maybe the reader had taken him to meet one of them since he worships the wereseptics but like either they're badly hurt and acting feral because of it and the shift happens to protect him and the reader. Or maybe hunters show up and the shift happens to help him fight back.

Sorry this took forever! But I finally got it finished! ^^

“A-Are ya sure I won’t be botherin’ ‘em?”

“Of course not, Shawn.” You reassured the worrisome artisan, gently taking his hand and guiding him through the dark forest. Some faint growls resonated in the air, although you recognized them as Anti’s, so it wasn’t unusual.

Shawn’s breath hitched slightly as he heard the sounds, but he took a deep breath and tried to calm down. He knew they wouldn’t hurt him for no reason, yet it was hard for him to shake his fear of them at times..despite being devoted to them .

After all, they were like gods to him. And they were something to both love and fear.

Eventually, you both arrived to a clearing…where the scenery looked like a bloody battlefield. Your eyes widened in shock as you looked around, before spotting Anti limping around in his werepanther form.

His ankles and tail appeared bloody, with his fur messy and shredded. Not too far from him was some kind of metal trap full of sharp iron teeth. Judging from that, it was easy to put two and two together.

“Stay here, Shawn.” You warned the artisan. “He might be feral right now. I’ll try to calm him.”

Nodding, Shawn nervously watched as you walked towards Anti. Then you clicked your tongue softly, causing him to snap his head over to you, his eyes glowing greenish-yellow in the dark.

“Hey, Anti. It’s me..” You gently put your hands up to show him you were unarmed. “You’re hurt. But it’s okay now-”

He cut you off with a sharp growl, going down on all fours. Before you could even try to run, in the blink of an eye you found yourself being pinned down by the beast.

“AH!” You put your hands out, grabbing his snout as he tried to bite your face. He just kept growing and snarling angrily, obviously not letting up. Out of the corner of your eye, you could see Shawn’s terrified face. “SHAWN, RUN!”

“No! I won’t abandon you!” He shouted back, although he realized his voice was starting to deepen on the last few words. With wide eyes he put a hand to his throat, staring at you.

At that point, Anti ceased his attack and glanced up at him, lips curling into a snarl as he stood up. You coughed and got up slowly, before you turned around to see Shawn collapsing to the ground, hugging himself.

And that’s when it happened.

Suddenly, grayish-brown fur began appearing on his arms, fingernails falling off and being replaced with sharp claws. He cried out in agony as he clutched his face, feeling his nose and mouth start to protrude into a snout, becoming full of sharp canines.

Both you and Anti looked on in both awe and shock as Shawn’s clothes ripped during the final stages of his transformation.

And when it was all done..in his place stood an Irish Werewolf, black splotches covering his body. His eyes opened to reveal bright emerald-green ones, before he reared his head back to howl at the moon.

“So yer one of us now. About time.”

Glancing back, you saw Anti was in his human form again, smirking. But when Shawn growled and walked over to embrace you tightly, he took a step back, putting his hands up in defense. “Look I’m sorry, alright? To both of ya..” He muttered almost guiltily. “But..that’s all it took to awaken that lycan blood in ya, huh?”

“I guess so.” You nodded, looking up and rubbing the werewolf’s snout. He grumbled softly and nuzzled you, before he sat down in the grass, cradling you in his lap. 

With a smile you petted his fur, chuckling as he huffed. “The others will be excited to hear about this.”

The werecat purred as he curled the mouse’s tail around his claw, lifting its limp body into the air, dangling it in front of his face. He licked his lips, although before he could swallow the critter whole, he heard the crackling of a fire.

“Do you wanna roast that instead? I think it would taste better.”

Looking over, Marvin blinked upon seeing you start a small campfire, tying some sticks together into a makeshift platform. Once you set everything up, you glanced at him and pointed to the stick structure. 

He seemed to get the idea and gently put the mouse down on it. But he huffed as he realized it was going to take a while, frowning slightly at you.

“Trust me, it’ll be worth the wait.” You smiled and scratched his ears soothingly, causing him to relax a little and close his eyes. “And you’re less likely to get food poisoning from raw meat.”

I had a thought. Shawn Flynn as a werewolf. I could picture him looking like the extinct Irish wolves. He could be like, one of the last pureblood celtic werewolves which is why he resembles the extinct wolf species. Like, most other irish werewolves nowadays are either descended from, or were bitten by, werewolves from foreign lands so the original celtic werewolf blood has become very rare, especially due to the wild cousins being hunted to extinction, they were hunted right along with them.

Ohh yeah! That’s definitely what I imagine him to be, too! 

In my Wereseptic AU, he’s a human artisan who makes wooden sculptures. But he does have a little Celtic werewolf blood within him, although it’s currently dormant..so he doesn’t know how to transform just yet.

Wereseptic AU: Celebrating Valentine's Day

(This list will go over how the boys court you on this special day)

-Werewolf Jack would cling to you all day, nuzzling, licking, and nibbling on your skin. As human he'll want to wear your clothes just so your scent is on him at all times even if you're right in his arms. And at night you'll both sleep in his den together, giving one another tender touches.

-Werefox Chase gifts you random things he finds in the forest. He'll come running to you on all fours with a shiny coin or pretty rock in his mouth, dumping it in front of you before he's off again. At dusk, though, his last gift is a dead rabbit that you both cook for dinner, before you snuggle together and rub his stomach.

-Werehawk Jackie flies up into the sky and performs a dance for you, showing off his wings and tail as he occasionally chirps to make sure you're watching, before he takes you to his nest and presents to you small gifts he found.

-Werecroc Henrik takes you to his favorite pond and dives into it, transforming, and resurfacing to perform a courtship dance for you. He'd slap his snout on the water, blow bubbles, and get hunt for you. In the evening you both have a hearty fish dinner.

-Werecat Marvin's instincts completely take over when he's loving you on Valentine's Day. He'll hack up a flaming hair ball or two to make a fiery heart on the ground, representing his burning love for you. And that'll be the fire that you'll roast the dead critters he caught for you on. Afterwards he'll bring you into his lap and groom you with his tongue, purring loudly.

-Werepanther Anti is incredibly possessive and dominant, not letting you near anyone and vice versa. Like Jack he'll bury himself in your clothes and blankets to calm himself if you need to be away from whatever reason. At night he switches forms and leaves you lots of love bites.

-Weredog JJ is the only one who tries to mimic romantic human gestures. He'll find flowers for you and organize them in a pretty bouquet. When you tell him how much you appreciate it, he barks and wags his tail happily, giving you wet sloppy kisses.

💕: “The strength I gain to protect you is well worth the pain of the transformation” for one of the Were Septics? Maybe while they're still new to being a lycan? I figure changing hurts when your new but gets easier with time. Maybe for Chase?

The reddish-orange fur vanished back under Chase’s skin, claws turning into fingernails once more, and his bones and muscles realigning themselves as he fell to his knees, whimpering softly.

Once he was back to his old-self, he felt a warm blanket being wrapped around his naked form, before he looked up to see your concerned face. You saw the brightness in his eyes gradually fade away and his canines shift back to normal human teeth.

He shivered a bit, hugging the blanket around him as he smiled shakily at you. “Th-Thanks..I wish..turning back into a human wasn’t as painful as becoming a werefox.”

“Yeah. I wish that, too.” You nodded as you helped him to his feet, putting his arm around your shoulders before heading back to the camp, where a warm fire was set up.

Meat was roasting on a stick just above it, which made Chase’s mouth practically drool. He could just feel his now invisible bushy tail wagging in eagerness. You chuckled at his reaction and had him sit down on the tree stump, before you retrieved a few slabs of meat and put them on some plates.

Once you’ve done so, you handed Chase his food, watching him scarf it down while you sat beside him on the same stump. For some time, you both ate in a comfortable silence, although you decided to break it by clearing your throat.

“So..is..there no possible way to make it hurt any less?”

He gazed at you, setting the plate in his lap as he shook his head. “I doubt it, but..it’s okay.” With a reassuring smile, he wrapped the blanket around you, too, bringing you closer to him. “The strength I gain to protect you is well worth the pain of the transformation. At first I hated what I became, but..then I realized I no longer feel like a wimp. There’s all kinds of monsters out here that could hurt you..and..a-and I just wanna be the one who’s strong enough to take care of you, [y/n].”

His words made you feel warm inside, and so you beamed at him before kissing his lips. He squeaked a bit when you wrapped your arms around his torso, although he eventually relaxed into the kiss, clinging to you like his life depended on it.

After breaking it, you sighed softly, before you noticed the red hairs in his dark brown scruff. You ran your thumb across it. “The curse is showing itself on your beard,” you hummed in amusement. “Though..to you it’s probably not too much of a curse now, right?”

“No,” Chase chuckled, closing his eyes in content. “It’s not completely a curse..nor a blessing. But whatever it is..I swear I’ll use it to protect you from any danger out there.”

Hearing a familiar yip, you looked to see the werefox sprinting towards you on all fours, holding something green in his mouth. But when he stopped in front of you, it turns out that there were a bunch of clovers between his jaws.

He gently lowered his head, setting them in your hand. Despite the stems being covered in saliva, you just smiled and looked at the leaves, seeing that some had three and one had five of them.

“Awh you found these for me? Thank you.” With a soft chuckle you rubbed Chase’s head tenderly, watching as he closed his eyes and swished his tail in bliss. “You know..just being your mate makes me feel like the luckiest person in the world, but I’ll be sure to make some charms out of these so I’ll have luck wherever I go.”

Oooo I just had to look it up and it's awesome! I love the horns especially.

I've never looked into Native American mythology much but I probably should!

Tbh if you wanna request any mythical creature I don't know about, I will jump right onto the Internet and find info on it before I start writing 😊
