If something like the events of sonic unleashed ever happened, seeing as the master emerald is connected to the chaos emeralds, would some of dark Gaia’s energy gravitate towards scourge due to the master emerald shards? Thus resulting in the wherehog form?

Finally had time to sit down and think about this question properly. So let set up our framework of what we know: 1) Scourge is still connected to the Master Emerald

2) Wachowski is very powerful and loves his uncle very much but he knows fuck all about his powers or the chaos emeralds

3) this is all happening on Bucks world and that mf is a werehog rn

4) no one knows Buck is "extra fluffy" and thinks he is missing

5) Bucks world is broken up into pieces so you can't just run around and hope to run into him

Now my thought for how this would play out:

Scourge and Wachowski are doing their thing and Eggman triggers Dark Gaia's awakening. Scourge feels it and it fucks with his powers and maybe even his scars start to burn/glow a bit. Wachowski doesn't know what to do or how to fix it but Scourge got the scars from Buck's Master Emerald so maybe Buck/Knuckles would know how to fix it. Scourge isn't enthused about meeting either of them ((especially knuckles)) but his chest fkn hurts more than his pride so they go. They see a busted world and a big old monster and go "huh, I think that has something to do with this probably".

I like the idea of keeping the theme of Scourge and Sonic being opposites and their forms reflecting that. They got that "in side you are two wolves energy" with Scourge not darkening in color but getting lighter in color and having more of a Light Gaia backed energy. This would tie in Chip and maybe encourage chip to seek out Scourge and Wachowski ((cause come on we gotta have double werehog or whats the point??)). If Scourge and Sonic were true opposites still, Scourge would transform during the day and Sonic at night but imma hand wave that for now and just have their werehog forms take on that light vs dark color theme. Wachowski is not a werehog, but I have a whole fic on Ao3 called Racoon Dog that goes into "Movie Sonic but Werehog" idea, I also have Werechowski art and writing already made in this blog under the tag #werechowski I believe.

What I haven't figured out is if Scourge and Wachowski join Chip and Sonic, or if they go off and do their own thing. Cause there are lots of characters that aren't in Unleashed but they could interact with (Shadow, Rouge, Knuckles, to name a few).

At the table in the shack, in the woods, where Fenrir had been told to meet with a reputable DeathEater, the alpha wolf was growing increasingly irritated. His fists had beenballed almost since the minute he got there. First, they had sent some lowlyDeath Eater – probably freshly marked – who had a shit attitude toward Fenrir, almost condescending in his speech tothe wolf.

He was lucky there were others, all with wands that could do more damagethan Fenrir could prevent. He might be able to wipe out the stupid kid and twoor three of the others, but they’d eventually take him down, and he wasn’tabout to have that.

Instead, he yelled and demanded therespect he deserved. Ultimately, (aside from a painting on the wall falling andshattering as a result of his fist pounding angrily against the shitty tablewhich threatened to crack under his rage) nothing happened other than a promisethat he’d get what he wanted next time – and that that Death Eater would not be present in the future.

He almost flipped the table, probably would have had Remus not slunk closer and shifted into his lap. Thevein on Fenrir’s forehead was protruding with his vexation, the pulse throbbingin his temple. He was so tangibly angry – but Remus had kept him grounded withthe right words for the otherwizards, and a hand on his shoulder. No one else was capable of soothing thebeast, but Remus somehow always knew what to do.

His edges didn’t soften when Remus sat but he stopped squeezing his fistso tightly that his knuckles returned to their normal color. He took a longmoment before he looked at the young man who sat so comfortably on his lap.
