This picture of my lovely kids and our dinner tonight won't tell you that just minutes before, Joshua was sitting patiently in his chair with a full blowout, Charissa had just tried to drink from her cup that had spoilt milk in it, because I was too busy today to clean it for her, and Adelyn was so hungry she even volunteered to pray as I was taking the picture, because all she had to eat all day was two donut holes, Doritos and a juice box. Meanwhile, I myself am starving, sweating profusely, yelling at the kids in an attempt to maintain order, physically beat and feeling like a failure of a mom. But today we got word that we will be able to finally close on our house in Hyde Park next week, and we were able to move into it with the help of so many friends, old and new. God continues to show His goodness and faithfulness to our family. I took this photo to forever remind myself of what I'm feeling right now - that I will always need Jesus, because on my own, I can only fail.
