Con el fin de ampliar la atención e investigación de los delitos de género en la zona serrana, la Fiscalía Especializada de la Mujer instaló una oficina del Ministerio Público en el Municipio de Guerrero, en la zona occidente del Estado.

Esta agencia, atenderá las denuncias relacionadas con delitos de género que se presentan en las localidades de La Junta, Tomochi, Basúchil, Pueblo de Pascual de Orozco y puntos aledaños que integran dicho Municipio.

En el marco de la conmemoración del 8 de marzo, la Fiscal Especializada en delitos de género, Wendy Paola Chávez, señaló que es un logro poder llevar atención con perspectiva de género a este Municipio después de 8 años de trabajo, para combatir la violencia en esta parte del Estado.

En el evento estuvo presente la Diputada Rocío Sarmiento, quien indicó que se continuará trabajando en coordinación para instalar más servicios que ayuden a empoderar a las mujeres para salir del ciclo de violencia.

Esta es la séptima oficina que abre el órgano investigador, actualmente con representación en Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua capital, Parral, Delicias, Cuauhtémoc, Creel Bocoyna, y ahora en Guerrero.

            Los delitos que se atienden en esta oficina son: violencia familiar, delitos sexuales contra mujeres, niñas y adolescentes (violación, abuso sexual, hostigamiento sexual), incumplimiento de la obligación alimentaria, desaparición de mujeres (no relacionadas con el crimen organizado) y homicidios.

La oficina se encuentra ubicada en la Calle Allende número 8, en la Colonia Centro en el Municipio de Guerrero Chihuahua, y el número telefónico: 6355861394 con línea directa.
