Wenclair Week 2023, Day Seven: Color/Soulmates

Enid expected her soulmate to add color to her life.

She didn't know hers came in black and white.

There it is again. Bold. And opinionated—Enid has certainly not asked. Not outright, anyway. But she’s also kind of hooked, in a way she can’t explain. She’ll hear Wednesday out.

What does she have to lose?

“I am a writer, and have recently published my first book. To celebrate, I wish to get repeatedly stabbed over the course of several hours in order to immortalize the protagonist, Viper de la Muerte, into my skin, and my research has found you to be the most adequately skilled for this task.”

Her response was several seconds of blinking as the girl processed her words.

Happy 2024! I hope you all have been celeb rating or at least enjoying the holiday season.

I wanted to shoutout my favourite posts from 2023 - that just means I reblogged them during 2023 and I like them.... ALOT!

You may have seen the posts I do monthly, I am going to continue to do so and I released the December one yesterday, you can find it here.

I scrolled through all my posts (archive...shhh!) to find my absolute favourites from this year. I am sorry if I missed you....I reblog a lot of content and I have about 400+ in my current queue. I can't wait to see what next year has in store because I am sure I won't remember a lot of what I have queued up for us all.

Wenclair Week is Over!: Now What?

We hope you had a wonderful Wenclair Week 2023 and had fun participating or just enjoying the amazing entries!

Please peruse @wenclairweek to check out everyone’s wonderful creations! If you’re late to posting, works will still be reblogged for sometime after the event--most likely up to a week. 

The AO3 collection will likewise be open until Tuesday, February 21st when it will be closed indefinitely. Please try and get your works submitted before then!

As for whether or not this event will be held again next year, that's still to be determined. If I decide not to host again I will definitely try and find a replacement... if that sounds like something you're interested in, feel free to send an ask! If not, I hope you all were able to enjoy this event for what it was!
