#well time to leave EA Gale behind in 2023 byeee

I really love the Gale we have now but I do wonder what a romance with EA Gale would have been like. I remember him saying that he doesn't know if he's still in love with Mystra and that he can only know if he sees her again. He'll say this AFTER spending the night with him if you romance him. It was so dramatic and I remember making up this scenario in my head of my Tav excusing herself after the conversation to go cry silently in her tent.

I had a playlist that had Oh My Lover by PJ Harvey and Doll Parts by Hole for EA Gale. It's fun to think back on how different the romance would have been. I kind of wanted to see a love triangle dynamic and was so ready for it! It would have been very heart wrenching. I could see myself crying over the possibility of him choosing Mystra over Tav lol.

Also EA Gale’s relationship with Mystra just seemed more apparent in its toxicity and abuse. It was a bit different, especially because he used to say that Mystra had been his first lover.

I even started to write about how I think the situation he was in as well as his character represented the Lovers archetype from tarot. Now I don't think that's really the case anymore. 

But still. I appreciate the Gale we have now and LOVE him so much. His romance is so sweet and probably has one of the happiest endings out of all the other romances. (imo of course.)
