hm. well. there’s been a development. my mom found my gofundme for top surgery (i expected her to at some point, i’m prepared) and knows i’m transmasc now. she’s very upset that by covering my rent while i’m in school she’s “enabled” me to save up for something she sees as like, “ungodly mutilation” :/

we had a whole text conversation, i tried to reassure her it’s a future thing and the money i’m saving is just a general cushion like anyone else’s savings, but i don’t think that matters to her.

we’ll see how things progress as we both cool down ig
