Been rereading Parantural and, wow, boy howdy, there's certainly been a change in my favs.

Like, back when I myself was a troubled child just trying to figure things out, dealing with moving to a new city and school to make new friends, obviously I was drawn to the kids and their stories and struggles, could really relate to them. But now, as an equally troubled and struggling young adult who's trying their best and trying to go into the adult world, specifically teaching, boy has Spender just jumped up the ladder to favorite character position (us both being dramatic gays is also a plus). Just, obviously there's been more stuff for him since I was last into Paranatural, what with all the flashback business, but I kinda can relate to him more than ever being in the position I am now. He's just, he's such a dork but it's clear that he's trying so, so hard, and as wrong as he seems to be doing with the kids it really does seem like he's ultimately trying to help and protect them and now knowing the long term relationship he's had with both Ed and Isabel just, god, I love this man dearly.
