Secret Santa Update!

Alright, everything's starting to come together on this project. I decided to make a new post about this rather than rehashing the old one a million times. But I still need some help! There are things I still need to know for this to work, and it's important that you cooperate with me so you can send and receive your presents without a problem.

The ball begins...

Everyone received a strange invitation to a mysterious ball (though perhaps not everyone found it) and lovely formalwear seemed to just appear for them. They all were drawn to the ballroom, which is in Vriska's palace, much to her displeasure. The guests who have attended so far include Terezi, Bro, Aradia, Jade, Vriska, Karkat, Nepeta, Dirk, Jake, Rose, and Eridan. 

Bro and Jade had a sweet reunion!

There was much awkwardness and wallflowering until everyone eventually went up to others and started chatting. Only Rose stayed by herself the entire time, apparently finding it a lovely atmosphere to write wizard porn.

Terezi and Karkat were the only ones dancing, for a while. It was cute, and they were having fun, till Terezi's teasing was apparently too much and he stormed off, upsetting her.

Vriska felt uncomfortable and was just in an overall sour mood. Eridan stood next to her against the wall for a while and chatted a bit, but she wasn't really having it. He left to greet Nepeta when she walked in, and Eridan and Nepeta talked and danced a bit.

Jake arrived at Dirk's house to escort him. He backtracked and said it was "as pals" at first, but then he took it back and said he might wanna try it as more of a date-type-thing. At the ball, they danced together, and it was exceedingly awkward. They loo..ked at each other and then..pulled apart, and when Jake made a comment about how it was "just for fun" Dirk excused himself, feeling like he ruined everything.

Aradia recognized Jade from some dream bubble shenanigans and chatted with her for a while. Karkat approached after leaving Terezi, and they decided they ought to dance. Nepeta joined them, and after drawing names from a hat, Karkat and Jade were left to dance together. They were suspiciously close.

Terezi was sitting alone in the corner, unhappy about what happened with Karkat, so Vriska approached her. They had some scourge bonding, and Vriska was being unusually nice. When she saw Karkat dancing with Jade and heard that Terezi was upset about him, she got offended on Terezi's behalf and decided to go yell at him when their dance was done.

So when they finished Vriska yelled at Karkat and made him go talk to Terezi. He did, and they worked things out, and she hugged him, and he made a comment about how this was their first hug. She frowned and told him otherwise--they hugged on the roof of the meteor in the game. He didn't remember--for some reason, his memories are fuzzy? She told him they did something else too and decided to demonstrate, and they kissed. They both seemed very happy with this outcome.
