max hates cassandra so much and she fully believes they are friends. this actually makes me pretty sad
#max 'helen of troy' trevelyan#this relationship is bad for both of them it's such a downer#weirdly i think he genuinely likes most of the other companions (at least pre-blackwall reveal)#even solas which... could not be me. but he sees something shining in all of them.#and i think cassandra evokes such a sense of raw disgust and fear in him that he instinctively hides. so yeah he asks varric to write her a#book. and yeah he goes looking for the missing seekers. but i don't think he'll ever forgive her for Being a seeker.#and he holds the templars responsible for his dead apprentices but the seekers responsible for never stopping the templars.#also this last playthrough i got to hear cass say SO many things that if you think about them for ten seconds you say 'hang on#was that fucked up??' and yea. it was.
