if magic isn't real how do you explain his holy presence
#the concept of magic yeah sure#always been interested in just how people came up with that. no matter where you find it the base idea seems to be 'a force unseen'#and i'd say on some level that does exist- but at least for me#it's more in the form of when you're sitting outside on a roof at night#or in the rain hearing music and atmosphere leaking out of nearby buildings#or seeing a craftsman putting the finishing touches on their art#or meeting eyes with an animal in an unlikely place for just a second before it disappears#or looking up at the sky and thinking. huh. that's pretty fucking big isn't it. goes pretty far. wonder who got the idea to go to the moon#at the risk of sounding overly trite. it's just a nameless something#superstitious on the other hand i wouldn't reeeaallly say so#but maybe at least a little? i have ocd you gotta cut me some slack 💀#weirdest one i have is blinking a certain amount of times when i wanna replace a thought#but that's less on the Poetic And Ethereal side so much as it is disruptive and mildly irritating. oh well
