Drabble 365/366 - Assassin’s Creed

This is… not how the Bleeding Effect works.

It’s flashes and feelings, the coiled spring of tension behind his limbs for a threat that isn’t there. It’s languages he doesn’t speak fitting poorly in his mouth and his own name fading behind the ones echoing in his head.

He’s kissed as Ezio so many times, so he knows how he’ll tilt his head and gently cradle Desmond’s neck. What he doesn’t know is the texture of Ezio’s scar beneath his lips.

He wonders if he’ll do this again, only kiss himself through Ezio instead. He might be losing his mind.
