While planning/making my new (and redo) conlangs, I found a tool that can generate words based on phonotactic rules that you can set, so right now I have the “vibes” of the languages that I’m going to make. Here’s three:
Pre-Vuqaic:

Chapter 209 Trivia
Why would you remove your shirts!? And how did you not die of an ebullism before you could artfully arrange your capes around your waists?
Tumblr media
The Senku 11 here is a reference to the Apollo 11 spaceflight which landed people on the moon for the first time in 1969.
Also, the return of Suika's full melon helmet!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aluminum has two usages for the rocket: the body, and fuel. It's strong and light-weight, but alone it can't handle the heat of reentry. This is fine since Senku doesn't plan to return.
As fuel, it needs special conditions to release energy, such as those made with thermite.
Tumblr media
Cape York Peninsula is where Senku was headed, specifically for Weipa and Amrun, which account for most of Australia's bauxite production. Australia produces around 105 million metric tons of it per year, compared to China (68 million) and Guinea (64 million).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bauxite itself is a dull, reddish rock made from a mix of aluminum minerals and iron oxides, and the main raw source of all aluminum on Earth. It's usually strip mined as it's found near the surface, and can be done environmentally responsibly by replacing the topsoil afterward.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A few people seemed confused by this random person here: the KoS had already begun reviving people in Australia (hence the buildings show in the previous panel), but they were running low on supplies to revive/feed the manpower they required to get sufficient amounts of bauxite.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bucket wheel excavators are some of the largest vehicles ever produced, with a few of them featured in the Guinness World Records for their size, though not all of them are huge. They're used to continuously dig up large amounts of dirt and transport it away using conveyor belts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the Japanese version, Gen only says "bake*… Excalibur?" rather than the full joke the English translator @CDCubed came up with, "basket-weave Excalibur".
*Bake here is pronounced "bah-keh", and is a shortened version of "baketto" meaning "bucket".
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The ship here has influences from the Americans: zig-zag patterns and stripes. The boat's name seems to be "NXN" but I couldn't find a meaning or a reference for it. It's a catamaran— it has two hulls to increase stability and reduce drag, allowing it to be more fuel-efficient.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The food here is all made from corn: corn tortillas to make burritos and tacos, cornbread muffins, then what I assume is corn chowder or soup.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I hope this isn't Yo since he's clothed in the next image, but Suika appears to be getting flashed by a naked person with spiky hair covering themselves up with a tray…
Tumblr media
Last chapter we had a moon phase near the new moon, and this time we have a full moon, meaning at least 2 weeks have passed since the mathlympics.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ryusui, Senku, and Tsukasa are shown on the surface of the moon, but they are not necessarily the three going on the mission itself. The roles they need to fill are "pilot", "scientist", and "warrior", that trio simply fit.
Tumblr media
We also know that Tsukasa's choices were Taiju and Chrome, but that was before Ryusui was introduced.
In addition, we've seen that Chrome won't let Senku go on a suicide mission.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I wonder if we'll get an Australian character added to the team, or if the KoS will move on immediately.
I just think Australian slang would be a great addition with Chelsea and Gen around…

So here is Part 1 of me summarising the issues in the QLD state election that's literally tomorrow. In Part 1 we rank where the parties stand on Abortion rights.
First the status quo. Abortion is legal in Queensland & is treated as a medical issue rather than a criminal issue. It can be acquired, no questions asked, up to 22 weeks into a pregnancy. After 22 weeks, you need the approval of two licensed medical practitioners. Safe zones of 150 metres exist around providers to prevent protesters from hassling staff, clients or families of clients.
However, despite this legal right, in practice, it's difficult to obtain an abortion in rural/regional areas. Pregnant individuals often need to travel great distances & spend money they may not have on accommodation & fuel, to get access to the nearest provider. Someone in Mt. Isa might need to travel to either Emerald (a 12 hour car trip or 4 & a half hour plane trip) or Cairns (12 & a half hour car ride or 2 hour plane trip) to get access to a provider. A person in Charleville would need to travel over 5 & a half hours to Emerald or 8 hours to Gladstone/Rockhampton. If you live in Weipa, hope you can afford the 9 & a half hour car ride or 1 & a half hour plane trip to Cairns. Mt Isa should be big enough for it's own clinic. Charleville is smaller, but you could place a provider in Roma, which is only 3 hours away rather than 8 hours. Note that I only listed one-way trips, so realistically, you need to double all travel times listed as people need to get back home.
For anyone amazed by the time listed to travel places. This is normal in QLD. Everything is far away. Our state is big. A person travelling from Weipa to Cairns is going southeast while someone going from Mt Isa to Cairns is going north-east.
A trip from Weipa to Brisbane is 29 hours driving assuming no breaks (please don't try that). There's a train connecting Mt Isa to Brisbane that takes 28 hours for those unwilling to drive a bit over 20 hours (assuming no breaks). Realistically, almost everyone travelling from Weipa, Cairns, Mt Isa, Birdsville or even Mackay to Brisbane is taking a plane unless they're a Gray nomad.
Part 1 - Abortion
So this is ranked from worse to best
Worse = KAP (Katter's Australia Party), Family First.
These two parties both openly want to recriminalise abortion. Yes, that "r" isn't a typo. The KAP & Family First have it in their party platforms that they both seek to wind back the clock & make it a crime again.
I assume they aren't thinking of merely winding back to 2017, when abortion was technically in the criminal code, but it wasn't enforced. More likely they want to turn back to the 1970s-1980s where under Joh Bjelke-Petersen the criminal provisions that were only technically repealed in 2018 were actually enforced.
Of these two, the KAP are by far the bigger threat. They have 4 MPs, none of whom are likely to lose their seats, with an outside chance of gaining a fifth seat. Meanwhile, Family First only matter for preference flows (we have preferential voting here, so voting for parties that can't win a seat in their own right isn't the waste of time it would be in the USA).
Moreover, the KAP have announced that they will put up a private member's bill to recriminalise abortion immediately after the new parliament is sworn in. Have I mentioned all the KAP MPs are cisgender men. I should mention that.
Team Sneaky = LNP
The likely victors of tomorrow's election. The talk is about if the ALP can ring-fence Brisbane or not. No one is pretending that the towns of Cairns (3 seats) , Townsville (4 seats), Gladstone, Mackay, Rockhampton or Harvey Bay (each of these is 1 seat) are staying in the ALP fold. As the LNP are the likely victors of all but Rockhampton (where Independent Margaret Strelow has a good shot), they will form government. Therefore, the LNP will likely decide abortion access insurance state for the next 4 years.
The LNP have gone for plausible deniability by stating that they won't introduce a bill to recriminalise abortion. However, that doesn't matter as we know the KAP is introducing that bill instead. What they have is a so-called "conscious vote" on abortion.
It's a fact that 93% of LNP members voted against legalisation in 2018. That 93% includes the current Opposition Leader, David Crisafulli. We also know that quite a few of the new candidates in winnable seats are anti-choice. A conscious vote in an LNP majority government means that even if 1-3 members vote to keep the existing laws, the 4 KAP members will be enough to counter that & guarantee that abortion is recriminalised.
The only reason Crisafulli is even trying for plausible deniability is because he knows most voters are pro-choice. Support for abortion rights has remained stable at 75-80% of the population for my entire lifetime. There's a reason enforcement ended well before the official decriminalisation in 2018. It would be difficult to find a jury
Status Quo = ALP
So this is where our miracle shot happens & somehow the polls are wrong & the current government is maintained.
Now the status quo is still flawed. I want better. Abortion accessibility shouldn't depend on where in the state you live. A poor person in the regions shouldn't have fewer options than someone in the SEQ or Townsville (even Mackay doesn't have an abortion clinic). But when compared to a prospective recriminalisation, it's necessary to defend what we got now & ask for better afterwards.
Improved Access = AJP & Greens
Both of them promise to expand access. That's the optimal outcome, so we list it here.
I will probably not get around to releasing Parts 2 & 3 before the vote counting begins, so let's say this now. I was an overall ALP/AJP voter. But we have to number all the options in our system so the rest of the ticket was harm minimising. Cannabis Party don't particularly appeal to me, but it's also not crossing any of my political boundaries, so they got 3rd. Then came the jerk parties. As disgusting as the Greens antisemitism is, the LNP are a threat to both abortion rights & trans rights, so I prioritised my own survival (I'm a transwoman) & the survival of my cis female friends & cousins in this state. That puts Greens 4th & LNP 5th. The KAP don't have a candidate where I live, so I didn't have to rate them. Family First are Christian extremists who hate trans people & abortion rights & want to make the place go under fundamentalist Christian leadership. They got 6th, because somehow, One Nation still exists, which is even worse. One Nation is a cesspool of racism & manosphere garbage & are the biggest threat to my Mum's entire side of the family.

29. Donnerstag 26. Juni bis Donnerstag 03. Juli 2025
Tumblr media

Bauxite Bulk Supplier: The Global Leader in Sustainable Aluminum Raw Material Supply
Introduction to Bauxite bulk supplier
The aluminum industry serves as the backbone of modern manufacturing, supporting sectors ranging from transportation and construction to packaging and renewable energy. At the core of aluminum production lies bauxite, the primary ore refined into alumina and then smelted into aluminum. With global aluminum demand projected to grow at 3.5% annually (World Bank, 2023), securing a reliable Bauxite bulk supplier has become more critical than ever.
This comprehensive guide explores the bauxite supply chain, key players, market dynamics, procurement strategies, and sustainability challenges. Whether you are an alumina refinery, aluminum smelter, or industrial buyer, understanding how to partner with the right Bauxite bulk supplier ensures cost efficiency, supply stability, and compliance with environmental regulations.
What is Bauxite and Why is it Essential for Aluminum Production?
Composition and Types of Bauxite offered by the Bauxite bulk supplier
Bauxite is a sedimentary rock primarily composed of aluminum hydroxides, including:
Gibbsite (Al(OH)₃) – Most common in tropical deposits (e.g., Guinea, Brazil)
Boehmite (γ-AlO(OH)) – Found in European and Asian deposits
Diaspore (α-AlO(OH)) – Less common, requires higher refining temperatures
The alumina content (Al₂O₃) typically ranges from 35% to 60%, with impurities like silica, iron oxides, and titanium dioxide affecting refining efficiency.
From Bauxite to Aluminum: The Refining Process
Bauxite Mining – Extracted via open-pit or underground mining.
Bayer Process – Crushed bauxite is treated with sodium hydroxide to extract alumina.
Hall-Héroult Process – Alumina is electrolyzed to produce pure aluminum.
A high-quality Bauxite bulk supplier ensures optimal alumina yield (typically 2 tons of bauxite → 1 ton of alumina → 0.5 tons of aluminum).
The Role of a Bauxite Bulk Supplier in the Aluminum Value Chain
A Bauxite bulk supplier is responsible for:
Large-Scale Mining & Processing
Operates mega-mines (e.g., Rio Tinto’s Weipa mine in Australia produces ~50 million tons/year).
Ensures consistent ore quality through advanced beneficiation techniques.
Global Logistics & Supply Chain Management of Bauxite bulk supplier
Bulk shipping via Capesize vessels (180,000+ DWT) reduces freight costs.
Strategic stockpiling in key regions (e.g., China, Middle East) minimizes delivery delays.
Compliance with ESG Standards
Adherence to ICMM (International Council on Mining and Metals) guidelines.
Land rehabilitation post-mining (e.g., Alcoa’s mine restoration projects in Brazil).
Top 5 Global Bauxite Bulk Suppliers (2024 Market Analysis)

Case Study: Guinea – The World’s Bauxite Powerhouse
Holds 7.4 billion tons of reserves (~25% of global supply).
Major players: CBG (Compagnie des Bauxites de Guinée), SMB-Winning Consortium.
Export challenges: Infrastructure bottlenecks, political risks.
Tumblr media
Key Challenges in Bauxite Bulk Supply
Environmental & Regulatory Pressures
Deforestation: Guinea lost 1,000+ sq km of forest due to bauxite mining (2023).
Red Mud Waste: For every ton of alumina, 1-2 tons of toxic red mud is produced.
Geopolitical Risks
Guinea’s 2021 coup disrupted exports, causing a 20% price surge.
China’s dominance: Controls 60% of global alumina refining capacity, influencing bauxite demand.
Price Volatility & Market Trends
2024 Bauxite Price: $40-$65/ton (FOB Australia).
Demand drivers: Electric vehicles (EVs) and renewable energy infrastructure.
How to Select the Best Bauxite Bulk Supplier
Quality Parameters
High Al₂O₃ (>45%), Low SiO₂ (<5%)
Moisture content (<10%) to reduce shipping weight.
Supplier Evaluation Checklist
Mining licenses & certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, ASI Certification)
Long-term supply contracts (5-10 years preferred)
Transparent pricing (avoid hidden fees in CFR/CIF contracts)
Sustainability reports (water usage, carbon footprint, community impact)
Logistics & Cost Optimization
Bulk shipping vs. containerized: Saves $10-$15/ton.
Near-port suppliers (e.g., Australian mines) reduce lead time.
The Future of Bauxite Supply (2025-2030 Outlook)
Emerging Suppliers as a Bauxite bulk supplier
Vietnam: New mines in Dak Nong province.
Sierra Leone: Renewed investments post-civil war.
Green Bauxite Mining Innovations used by the Bauxite bulk supplier
Electric mining trucks (e.g., Rio Tinto’s diesel-free fleet by 2030).
AI-powered sorting to reduce waste.
Recycling & Alternative Materials
Secondary aluminum could meet 50% of demand by 2050 (IAI).
Bauxite residue utilization (e.g., cement production, rare earth extraction).
Conclusion: Partnering with the Right Bauxite Bulk Supplier
The Bauxite bulk supplier you choose directly impacts your production efficiency, costs, and ESG compliance. Key takeaways: ✔ Prioritize suppliers with high-grade ore and stable geopolitics (e.g., Australia over Guinea). ✔ Demand sustainability commitments (carbon-neutral mining, zero deforestation). ✔ Lock in long-term contracts to hedge against price volatility.
As the aluminum industry evolves, only those with a strategic, ethical, and reliable Bauxite bulk supplier will thrive in the green economy

Meet Tina Eastley: The photographer capturing queer Qld life
New Post has been published on https://qnews.com.au/meet-tina-eastley-the-photographer-capturing-queer-qld-life/
Meet Tina Eastley: The photographer capturing queer Qld life
Tina Eastley photographs the LGBTQIA+ community at events across South East Queensland. We convinced Tina to come out from behind the camera to learn more about her and the passion she has for her work.
All images in this article have been shot by Tina Eastley.
The name Tina Eastley may not be familiar to many LGBTQIA+ Queenslanders. But it’s likely you’ve seen her work over the years.
Tina is a photographer capturing our community’s most important moments and events.
She is passionate about her work but prefers to be behind the lens than put herself into the spotlight.
When preparing our video interview, she lets me know as much before beginning our questions.
“It’s weird being on this side of things,” she says a little nervously.
It can be a vulnerable place for people and it’s something Tina has always been aware of, ever since she picked up a camera.
Discovering photography
Tina has a connection to many places across Australia including childhood homes in Sydney, Weipa, Cairns and Brisbane.
The regional town of Young in New South Wales also resonates, as it’s where she visited her grandparents during the holidays.
It was here she first picked up a camera – her grandfather’s SLR.
“I was four or five at the time and I just picked up this shiny thing,” she tells me.
“He just looked at me and said ‘Well, if you’re going to pick it up, you better learn how to use it properly.’”
He taught Tina the basics and continued to encourage her passion while she was growing up.
Photography runs in the family as her father and sister are keen photographers as well.
She sees her work as a craft and a way of storytelling much like other artists.
“Some people use a paintbrush, I use a camera to tell someone’s story by capturing a moment in time,” she says.
Trying to get a foot in the door
This desire saw Tina turn to her own community as she wanted to capture the local Brisbane LGBTQIA+ scene.
But when she first tried to get her foot in the door, she hit a familiar barrier.
“I’ve worked in various occupations over the years such as being a store person, truck driver and forklift operator and I was faced with a lot of prejudice because ‘this isn’t for females,’” she recalls.
“It was like here we go again because I didn’t fit into the event producers’ or organisers’ preconceived idea of what a photographer should look like I had trouble obtaining work”.
Despite the initial setbacks, Tina had support from her colleagues on the scene.
“Luckily, other photographers said ‘keep going, don’t give up,’” she explains.
“I was very thankful because things like that obviously get you down and those who helped me are still great friends of mine.”
A Pride Day breakthrough
Things really changed for Tina when Bec Johnson OAM, President of Brisbane Pride at the time, reached out to her.
“Bec contacted me and said ‘We’re coming up to Pride Day soon and I’ve seen your work, are you interested in being the photographer for the day?,’’” Tina recalls.
“It was like, ‘Oh my gosh, yes!’ this is what I’ve been working so hard for.”
Excitement made way, to being a little overwhelmed at what lay ahead.
“There’s so many activities that you have to ensure is captured because you’ve got the formalities at the beginning of the day, the march, then fair day, I wondering ‘’How do I catch all this?’”  Tina says.
“There is always some planning, coordination and a bit of luck along the way.”
Telling our stories
Tina’s approach to photography aligns with the needs of the LGBTQIA+ community.
She believes in building trust and getting to know the person or people she is capturing.
“It’s important to ask people’s permission to take their photo, especially as some people aren’t open in the outside world,” she says.
“I just don’t want to ‘click’ and walk away, especially at pride events where it’s important to understand the community.”
This has also helped her work with people trusting her at protests and rallies where other media may be looking to capture controversy.
“I’ve had had photographers physically push me out of the way to get ‘the shot’, but people who know me, were like, ‘Hey, come take our photo,’” she explains.
And how does she know when she’s captured something special?
“When you’re in the moment, you just feel it in your heart that you’ve been a part of something amazing,” Tina says.
“It could be a simple thing of being on a pride day or going to a protest rally, you don’t search for it but when you’re there in that time, it’s incredible to be part of that world.”
Supporting regional areas
When asking Tina Eastley about some of her favourite events she covered, the ones that come to mind first are regional events she attends.
Growing up in regional towns has given Tina a feeling of duty to travel around and capture the moments but mainly to show support for that community.
“I know the stigmatism and I knew that before I knew I was queer,” she said.
“That’s why I make a real a real effort to go to regional areas to show my support. You have people who feel so alone and they can go to an event and go ‘This is my family.’ They can make that connection.”
Capturing history
Tina Eastley sees herself as representing our community like many have beforehand.
“People have represented our community for millennia with their stories, music and artwork, we have always existed,” she says.
“As a modern photographer, I’m just following in their footsteps, showing our stories one photo at a time.
“There has been a wonderful shift towards the diversity of photographers in the rainbow community  as it brings different perspectives and it ensures, the rainbow history will be documented for future generations.”
For the LGBTQIA+ community, we are lucky to have a passionate and dedicated storyteller to do this.
She just happens to be behind a camera.

Pretend you can cook with Atticus: pork mince soup
This recipie contains no precise measurements of volume nor time, so the result might not be what I made but it would be what you want.
You'll need:
A lidded pot
A box of pork mince from the supermarket, as much as you'd like for a meal
Soy sauce
Sesame oil
Green weipa (tastes like crisp seasoning)
White pepper (black pepper is acceptable but white pepper fits the best)
Chinese preserved radish (a bit pungent right out of the packaging, but trust me.)
Water (enough for it to become a soup)
Rice noodles
Here's how to make it.
Soak the rice noodles in cold water (not the soup water). They will soften as you run around looking for ingredients.
Cut up the radish if it comes in a chunk into small pieces. Keep it larger if you like the crunch. It's your soup. How much? I don't know. Your pot is probably a different size than mine and cooking for more or less people than I did, so eyeball it. If you've never had this before, cut off a bit and try it, then eyeball.
Put pork, water, radish, soy sauce, weipa, pepper and sesame oil into the pot. It's alright to not add enough at this point, as this is very forgiving and you can fix it later.
Turn to high and bring to a nice boil. Once boiling, throw in the noodles.
Once the pork is cooked, you can taste the soup a lot and adjust the seasoning.
If it tastes good to you, then you've done it right. Trust your intuition on this, and don't think "but I need to good at cooking to do this!" No. You do not. The masters might be able to make a better soup with cavair or something, but if you make a soup you like, then you are a good cook. Plus, the tasting because you're probably the only person that's drinking the soup removes a lot of the guesswork.
If you've turned the stove off to season (which does not affect flavour significantly enough to the non food critic tongue), bring it to a boil again, to infuse the flavour, put down a table protector and serve.
Or eat it straight out of the pot.
It's your soup. In fact, this shouldn't even be Atticus' pork mince soup. Just name it after yourself. Enjoy being a dish name you know you'd like.

Weipa Town, in Far North Queensland, Australia, has seen a steady growth of bauxite mining in recent decades. Bauxite, the main raw material used to make aluminum, is surface mined using bulldozers and scrapers and the removed topsoil is stored for later revegetating and restoration. Since 1963, mines around Weipa have produced about 34 million metric tons of bauxite.
