                   Welcome to The Hetalia Extravaganza!                                Hetalia week 3.0 is here!

The votes are in, and you have all decided on what prompts are for each day, just like last year! If you’re unhappy with the prompts given, you can also do another listed prompt you like that wasn’t voted in, or do whatever you like! Remember, everything is allowed, regardless of ships, 2ps, nyos, favorite characters, everything is acceptable, along with any form of art, writing, or other such creative works. There are only a few exceptions that are made, and can be reviewed in the rules page! The event will be running from September 22nd to September 28th 2019, roughly a month before it starts, just to give people a little bit of time! Be sure to check your calendars or remember the date! I’ll make a post a week before the The Week of Hetalia starts as a reminder. Voted prompts for the week:

Day 1 (Sept. 22): Cardverse -   The Spades and Clubs kingdoms are perhaps at odds once more, or maybe magic has been causing troubles within the realm. Perhaps there is a quarrel within a single kingdom, or a forbidden love between enemies. Here’s some information on what [cardverse] is!

Day 2 (Sept. 23): Platonic - Do you have a favorite sibling duo? Or perhaps a couple that you don’t ship, but love to see hanging out just as friends? Even a group of friends! Whether it be at the mall, or hanging out in their favorite place together.Today is a day for underappreciated friendships.

Day 3 (Sept. 24): Soulmates - There is much potential with soulmate aus. Soulmates that share the same tattoo or mark when they are born, where they know the first words their soulmate will say to them, or they may share their pain. Or maybe they cannot see in color until they meet their soulmate for the first time.

Day 4 (Sept. 25): Crossover - Are you a huge fan of another fandom? This is an opportunity to have your favorite Hetalia characters interact with another character from another form of media. Or maybe, they are a part of that universe instead, battling monsters in a mystic forest, or attending a school for those who have magic potential.

Day 5 (Sept. 26): Highschool/College -  One of the most legendary aus around, there’s no doubt adventures can happen, from art class, to gym, to late night parties!

Day 6 (Sept. 27): Free Day -  This is a day to do whatever you want, anything is game! Is there a prompt you really wanted that wasn’t listed for this week, or perhaps there’s an idea that’s been on your mind for awhile? Today is a day to let your creativity run free!

Day 7 (Sept. 28): Historical -  Historical Hetalia! Perhaps the roots of the fandom. There is plenty of potential from past and present times alike! Just like last year, I saved the best for last! Historical won at the top once again just like last time! I wrote out some drabbles as well to hopefully help with some ideas if any of you may be stuck in a rut on what to do. Week of Hetalia Day 1: Cardverse

He quickly got up and dressed himself in his finest clothing, which wasn’t saying much as they were just like all his other clothes; cheap, red, black and pink fabrics in a simple design. Although these were the only clothes that both properly fit him and didn’t have any holes.

In a few short days the spring solstice would arrive, and Gilbert being 14 needed to attend the Cards Ceremony to find out his fate. The spring solstice Cards Ceremony was always held in the Clubs Kingdom, which was a three days journey from where he lived in the Hearts Kingdom. This was why he was now getting ready for his long travel into their neighboring Kingdom.

Gilbert himself didn’t go into the crowd just yet as he was looking at all the cool designs painted into the walls leading up to the roof. He backed up as he was admiring the details of the ceiling, only to collide with someone.

“Shit, sorry!” he exclaimed.

The other boy turned around and smiled. “It’s okay, it’s not like you knocked me over.”

Looking over the boy’s clothing it was safe to guess he was a 9, maybe even a 10 descending from the Diamonds Kingdom. His outfit looked to be made of thick expensive cloth, the jacket being lined on the inside with silk all in shades of yellow. The boy’s hair was a deep brown and his eyes were a light green, contrasting nicely with the colour of his outfit.

“My name’s Antonio of the Diamonds, and you are?”

Ludwig was the King of Hearts.

Gilbert spoke first. “You’re-”

“I know I don’t believe it either.”

Gilbert felt two things in that moment. One was absolute joy and love for his brother. And the other was jealousy and anger. How could he, the eldest get the worst card known to the four kingdoms, and his brother get one of the best? How had fate decided that? How could that be fair?

A few hours later, as they entered Rome, Gilbert opened the curtains to look in the streets. As was expected the city was decorated for the spring solstice, with flowerpots in every window and bird houses in all the trees. Although none of the flowerpots had any flowers in them yet, what with the ground still being frozen.

“Gilbert get off the table!”

“No way! I want you to have a good look at me before you go so you don’t forget what I look like on your long journey.”

Ludwig rubbed his face in frustration. “I’ll be gone for a week (?) at most!”

“That’ll be the longest we’ve ever been apart!”

“It’s my dream vacation.”

Once they reached the door at the bottom of the staircase, Gilbert was forced to continue alone into the room. He softly pushed open the door as to not ruin the atmosphere of peace that had settled on his way down the stairs and entered the room.

The room had the banners of the four Kingdom’s hanging proudly on each wall in the same order that they were displayed on the map. The floors were covered with soft carpets and in the center was a short table with two pillows set as chairs, one was occupied by a woman wearing the blues of Spades.

It made sense that the Card Reader was aligned to one of the Kingdoms, but Gilbert had never thought of them as such. He had always imagined them dressed in all the colours or none of them as a symbol of their abilities to read anyone’s cards.

Lovino forced him to his knees violently.

“Fuck man was that necessary?!”

The Ace just glared at him before turning to someone sitting in front of him. “I found him trying to steal deli meats from the butcher’s shop and I’m sure he was planning on stealing much more.”

Gilbert looked up to see it was indeed his brother sitting on the throne he was facing. He had grown a lot in the six years since he had last seen him, a good 30cm at least. When Gilbert had last seen him, he had been at his chest, now he looked to be taller than him.

She glanced up. “Related to Gilbert Beilschmidt?”

He nodded. “Gilbert Beilschmidt 3 of Hearts is my older brother.”

Something flashed in her eyes, but she returned her gaze back to the deck so quickly Ludwig wasn’t sure if he had imagined it. “I thought you two looked similar.”

Ludwig was a bit surprised. Most people couldn’t see any resemblance between the two of them, what with their significant difference in colouring and attitudes. Not to mention the large age gap didn’t help. It took a good eye to notice the similarities between the siblings.

“Um- thank you?” he stuttered. He really hadn’t thought the process of card dealing would get so unnervingly personal, but he guessed it made sense. It was to find out his destiny.

Ludwig could barely believe what he had just seen. His brother had used magic. Neither type tied to their kingdom.

“Gilbert?” Ludwig whispered.

Gilbert turned to look at him and he turned white as he realized his brother had indeed seen him.

“Ludwig it’s not-”

“That thing is a joker!” Both turned to look at a crowd of their neighbours who must have heard the explosions and came to investigate.

             🇮🇹Welcome to Hetalia Extravaganza 2019!🇮🇹

The Hetalia extravaganza is much like any other weekly challenge and event, but with- well- anything you want! Just like the past couple years, you get to vote for the prompts, and everyone is welcome to join!

There’s a prompt for each day of the week, and people may follow said prompt with art, fanfiction, or any other form of media if desired. Anything will be accepted for this week of celebrating Hetalia! Just remember to give credit for any edits! If you do not wish to follow the prompts, you may do something else during the week instead.

Post about anything you like, OTPs, Rare pairings, crack ships, cute ships, OC x canon, or something entirely new. You don’t have to do anything involving ships either. Favorite/underappreciated characters and crossovers, canon, Nyos, 2p!s, Nyo!2p!s are all welcome! There are a few exceptions that have to be made, however, so please check the rules, just in case!

As long as it’s still related to Hetalia, anything will be accepted!

Every single post from this event will be put on this blog for everyone to see and share! I’ll tag everything accordingly so people can find certain users’ works, characters, or ships. Please tag your posts as #HetaliaExtravaganza2k19 or @ me so I may be able to find it!

It would be preferable to have different prompts from last year, but if you really want them, you can still vote for them! I don’t want to block people off from the opportunity if they missed it last year. You have until August 19th to vote for prompts.
