Monday evening, Tuesday evening, & now Wednesday.. I’m shocked & sad over the sudden passing of my friend, Frank Daley. Since becoming friends at the end of the Blue Hand Luke Halloween show at Rustic Barn Pub (2015), Frank was always kind, welcoming, supportive, informative, and talented. His passing left a huge hole in my heart as well as so many others in the arts and music community. Frank was always kind to me.. taking the time to fill me in on life’s happenings, introducing me to Judy during their lunch outing at Shalimar (Troy-2016), and even from time to time, became a match-maker of sorts; encouraging a friend of ours whom I liked at the time to chat with me at community outings that we were at..!! Always caring, always giving back, and always loving life until its end. Thank you Frank for being my friend!! You are deeply missed. Be sure to continue to guide over me and everyone you know & tell Josh and Dave what’s happening from up above. My love, condolences and hugs to his brothers, Joe & Jack, sisters, mom, to Judy & Ruby, his band members, family, and friends during this difficult time. #WaybackWednesday: Happy “Wayback Wednesday” everyone!! Today (1/27/2021) I found out some sad news on Facebook that my friend and fellow local videographer, photographer, and music fan, Jim Plumadore Sr., died on January 23,2021. Jim was such a sweet, kind man who was always out and about documenting and live recording local & nationally known shows around the Capital Region & Rensselaer County, always with a video camera in his hands/podium capturing these special moments in time!! I enjoyed chatting with Jim every time I saw him in action. He encouraged me to send him some photos to use for his video shows but unfortunately I never had the chance to do so. He had a love for people, love for music, always donated and gave his time to share his talents with all who knew him, including me. I share with you some photos that Jim captured of me with my Mom and friends at 2 outings, “Soul Serenade” at Power’s Park (8/8/2020) and “Matt Mirabile Band” at Windy Hill Orchards East (10/3/2020). I now hold those photos that Jim took with me in my heart. Thank you Jim for your friendship and thank you for what you brought to our creative scene!! You will be missed my friend!! Thank you for everything!! Rest In Peace.
