When Kacey got home it was pretty late. Most of the lights were off and she wondered where Heeseung was, if he was home or went to the company to practice. Since officially moving to Korea, Kacey had gotten her own apartment before Heeseung made it his home too. When schedules are packed he’ll sometimes still crash at the dorms, but it didn’t take long for him to officially move in with her in their now shared apartment. Kacey still misses Carmel, but she knows it will always be there for her and she no longer is so alone.
A lot has changed in the past couple years. After moving to Korea, fans finally accepted her as Heeseung’s partner, her book series becoming a massive success with the last book coming out soon and a movie series on the way. Most importantly, Heeseung and her were so in love. She sometimes has to pinch herself looking back at this being her life. She would have never have thought about this being her life 2 years ago but here she is.
“Oh, you’re home?” Heeseung’s voice startled her out of her daze as she sat in their kitchen.
“Mhm! I thought you went out too,” Heeseung came over and wrapped his arms around her tired frame.
“I was just playing games with the boys. How was your day, sweetheart? Did you eat?” he asked.
“Yeah, I had some food earlier. My day was good, there’s so much…planning that goes around production and things. It’s exhausting,” she sighed leaning her head on his chest.
“Oh yes, I am quite familiar with that. Why don’t we go take a bath?” he suggested and she nodded.
These were her favorite moments, one where she gets to come home or he gets to come home to just each other and they can spend their quality time together. Her favorite downtimes with him are either relaxing in their bathtub or reading with his head in her lap as he sleeps. He works so much and she never takes these little moments for granted.
“You know, I’ve been thinking, for a while actually now,” Heseung started to say as he was drying her hair. “We should start planning the wedding.”
Kacey smiled to herself, looking at the box that sat on her vanity where she was doing night time skincare routine. Heeseung was behind her drying her hair, which he always loved to do. Heeseung proposed to her a few months ago. It was a very simple proposal, where he took her to a quiet Japanese garden, got down on one knee as she looked over at the Koi pond, and asked her that question: “Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?” and of course she said yes.
“Yeah? Okay, I can look into some wedding planners and we can start planning,” she said.
“I want a Spring wedding,” he started to say.
“Oh yeah? So next Spring then?” She always admired Heeseung and always seemed to know what he wanted and when he wanted it.
“Yeah, Cherry Blossom season would be perfect. Plus, you would look so beautiful in your dress surrounded by Cherry Blossoms falling over you.”
The rest of their night consisted of them talking about their plans in bed. Heeseung acting like an excited kid on Christmas and pulling on her heartstrings at how endearing he always was. She chuckled to herself catching his attention as they laid together, wrapped in each other's arms.
“What?” he asked.
“Nothing, I just love you.”

The wedding planner looks like he had been everywhere already, and yet still had so far to go. Somehow, Chris found the time to show him things he enjoyed, which always made the baker smile with delight. Even in extreme stress, there was always something to be enjoyed. Though his boxes were taken so promptly, he follows after so he may bring along his talents to set up the decorations on the sides. “It’s beautiful, Chris! Light blue and purples have always been a favorite!”
It was meant to be a three-tier apple cream cake with a fondant made out of Carmel and decorated with lace like Decour on each side. It had to be perfect, and the Marie Antoinnette lace he had found to copy it over hours and hours of work, had paid off.
When the boxes are sat down, and the plates where he may decorate have been fixed and perfected, he gently put on some gloves and takes each tear out with a delicate hand, making sure not to smudge the smooth surface of the cake. And little by little, he begins to add gold etchings on the sides with what looked like a small bottle of paint, though it was a sugar base that he had found worked much better.

“Coming through behind you!” Georgi calls, carrying three consecutive and sizable boxes from his van through the grassy area, warm and sunny as worker after worker passes him from the path he beelined towards. He had a place to be, and needed to know. With his curiosity, he looked at the sashes that hung from podiums of the side of this country club-esque building. To be quite honest, he had no idea what exactly this building was. He just knew he thought it was gorgeous while it was donned in waterfalls of flowers.
This couple must either have a lot of money, or they desperately want to drown their guests in petals. Though Georgi himself was quite a romantic.
Noticing a table nearby he sets the boxes down for a moment and sighs, ready to set up the cake. But where on earth was the person to tell him where it needs to be?
