Debut. They had finally made it. A mere handful of hours from now, the recently named S.E.T trainees 6-To-Midnight would be debuting with Kim Daehyun was the leader of the bunch. He was pacing about the dorms, fingers combing through his recently cut and dyed hair, a little huff leaving him. Eyes scan the room once, twice, three times, making sure each member was present before he swallows thickly and plops down on the chair facing the boys. “Well, we did it. Tonight’s the night. From the sounds of it our manager is going to be a little late coming over from the agency, but, we’ve got this. Our fans will be cheering us on and before we know it, we’ll be doing promotions. Everyone ready?”

In contrast to Daehyun’s anxious pacing, Han Jaehee had been more than comfortable and excitable, his nose turned down to his phone for at least the last hour if not longer looking at social media updates. People were excited and excitement made him even more excited. Daehyun calls to their attention, his head of rose gold hair swishing up as he finally looks up, eyes disappearing into a cute little eye smile. “Not sure about everyone else but I’m excited. We’ve worked hard for this and here it is! And with hyung’s track too~” He coos sweetly, eyes moving to rest on the black haired boy sat beside him. “I’m sure we’ll even get our first win in no time with it~”

After extra hours practicing choreography that he had come up with and making sure that it matched as well as they others has through with Donggun’s track, Kita Riku sat alongside the other boys with few words. Daehyun had asked how they felt and Jaehee went off onto an excited little rant, Riku releasing a soft little laugh before continuing. “Our fans absolutely will be! It’ll make debut go cleanly for all of us. We’ll work hard with promotions and they’ll take care of the rest.” A soft laugh leaves him as he leans back against the couch, fingers twirling the stray strands of his ripped jeans. “Let’s not get too cocky though.”

Just like with everything else that the group had endured, the first came with a round of anxiety and excitement and their first fansign was no different. Being the brat he could be sometimes, Daehyun had out a couple of his old fansites on the spot and managed to get everyone in the room chuckling. The boys had managed through a performance of their debut song, a few covers by artists that they look up to, and segment that had the boys doing various acts of fanservice for their fans. It had gotten to the end, the signing. To make things easy, the boys were sat in age order following Daehyun, who was on the end as he was the leader, after all.

One fan approached -hair pulled back in a braid, a face mask covering his face, a ripped jacket, a plain t-shirt, black skinny jeans, sneakers and her camera around her neck- held her album out to each member and offered a sweet eye smile before she got to the youngest at the end. She got shyer in front of him, shakily holding the album out to him with it opened to a specific page with a little sticky note on the book, a question and 4 options scribbled on it for him. ‘Jingyie-ah~ What kind of date would you take your girlfriend on?’ followed by ‘A- Picnic, B- Amusement Park, C- Fancy Dinner, D- Whatever she wants.’ The girl pulls her face mask down a tiny bit, keeping her voice soft and quiet. “You’re even cuter up close.” She murmurs sweetly, soft giggles leaving her.
