Anny my love! I am learning this morning about all that has happened at the Eras Tour in Brazil this weekend, and I wanted to make sure that you are okay.

Hi Sarah! Thanks for checking out on me 🫂💖. I'm actually alright (I didn't get tickets so I didn't went to the show), but emotionally I'm a wreck. I just cannot believe how this weekend turned into a nightmare for everyone involved. I'm really hoping everything goes alright today and tomorrow (although I'm really worried because the weather forecast for later tonight is rainstorm with lightning, but I really hope it doesn't get to a point she cancels tonight's show too) and I'm also praying everything goes alright next weekend in São Paulo. I'm just incredible sad for the fans and for Taylor too. We waited for so long and we all deserved better 😭

I think at the moment I have to say Station Eleven by Emily St John Mandel. I read it earlier this year and I am still just in awe of it

FANTASY

Grandfather's Journey by Allen Say. it's a picture book so I won't listen to any excuses :)

I should probably read one of the ones I have had checked out from my local library for 2 months (the faceless old woman who secretly lives in your home, the martian, crying in h-mart) or the ebook I just got on Libby (other birds) or one of several highly-anticipated books I have purchased for myself over the past couple years which I have systematically neglected (seasparrow, a restless truth, venom & vow) etc etc THERE ARE TOO MANY BOOKS

30. is there a book that changed your life?

The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart. this is a hard question for me because I think that at the heart of reading is a notion that every single book changes you in some way or another. I picked this one because it was a valuable lens for me as a teenager trying to make sense of how to exist in the world as a girl.
