WTTZ-FM 93.5 is unique in the nation as the only radio station developed and operated 24/7 by a transportation agency. We think of it as the perfect complement to your busy day, with transit, traffic and weather updates as close as your radio dial. Leavened by smooth jazz and the even smoother voice of Marc Jones, WTTZ has become a favorite of many listeners in much of MDOT MTA’s service area. #WeAreYourMDOTMTA #mdotnews

MARC Train Chief Transportation Officer Dave "DJ" Johnson and Assistant Chief Transportation Officer Katherine Read congratulate Amtrak Union Station usher Pam Michaux (center) on her retirement after 38 years working for Amtrak. She had staffed the MARC Gate B Information Desk since 2012, interacting with MARC customers on her regular Monday-Friday morning assignment as well as covering afternoon shifts and even weekends. Pam's last day is Friday and we wish her the best as she begins her well-earned retirement. Stop by Gate B and wish her well! #WeAreYourMDOTMTA #mdotnews https://www.instagram.com/p/BmQbu2uA6ng/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1vq4wrs15k9q1

Mother Goose is extra proud of her first two hatchlings (Linky and BLinky) to make it onto the scene at Northwest Bus Division. Father Goose expressed his gratitude with a “thank-you” honk to all the devoted MDOT MTA bus operators and mechanics who made the safety and nurturing of their annual visitors a priority over the past month or so. By this morning, all seven goslings had departed the scene in search of new adventures. See you next year, feathered friends! #WeAreYourMDOTMTA #mdotnews

MDOT MTA Administrator Kevin Quinn likes to loosen up with his best dance moves before convening his regularly scheduled Brown Bag Luncheons, held throughout MDOT MTA. At today’s gathering, Kevin announced that painstaking run-time adjustments have been implemented on 44 bus routes to bring them into line with posted schedules. The adjustments are part of a comprehensive range pf customer-focused improvements coming to your transit system throughout 2018. #WeAreYourMDOTMTA #mdotnews
