To me this picture represents the foundations of a good yoga teacher: a strong understanding of anatomy and a strong understanding of the subtle body. Acknowledging energy and understanding it as a vital component of our functioning is a unique skill that a yoga teacher posses that other movement professionals neglect. In yoga we work with things that can be seen as well as things that cannot be seen. The tangible & the intangible. A skilled teacher can mesh these two worlds together to foster a greater understanding of ALL our layers...not just the ones that can be seen.
