You and Matt are in the back seat, while Nick's at the driver seat and Chris's of course at the passenger seat.

"So our birthday is tomo- oh! i mean today! happy birthday for us! Woohoo!" Nick says happily after seeing the date, 1st august

"Happy birthday guysss!" You wishes them, giving them a tight hug

"Thanks y/n" Chris pat your head slowly, he's like a brother to you. And that makes you smiles so softly at Chris

"Thanks love" "Of course sweetheart" Matt winks at you, making you giggles

"So thank you guys for wa-" Nick's words were cut off by you "Oh wait wa-" "Bitch why am i getting cut every single time in this video" Nick groans "Well maybe you deserves it" Chris rolls his eyes. "Quit it! Anyways, i have a surprise for you guysss" You smiles happily as you took out 3 medium size boxes

"Oh really?" Matt was quite shocked "Why? You don't want em?" "No no i would love too!" Matt quickly take one of the boxes as he sees your eyes filled with rage when he suddenly say such a thing "Haha! Thank you y/n! This is so sweet of you!" Chris eyes sparkle when he got his box. "Wait can i open it now?" Matt ask "No no wait!"

"okay, 3..2..1 !" You and Matt count down, the triplets were excited to open them "Oohh what is this..?" Chris ask in confusion when he saw a positive pregnancy test in his box. The time froze a little when all of the guys trying to process the information.

"Wait..!" Matt eyes widen, looking dead in your eyes. It seems like Matt's the fastest to absorb the situation. "Hihi!" You chuckles softly as Nick and Chris also looking at you with widen eyes. "Are you fucking pregnant?!" Nick ask, half shouting. "What do you guys think?" You raised an eyebrow playfully

"I'm going to be a father?!" Matt hold your hands with a bright smile on his face "Yes silly!" You laughed "We're going to be a uncle?!" Nick says, looking excitedly at Chris "Holly shit! What in the fucking world?!" Chris laugh with tears in his eyes. "This is not fake right? This is not some sort of pranks right?" Matt still in denial, still so shocked "Noo! I'm officially preg-" your words were cut off when matt pulls you in a passionate kiss, making you giggles between kisses

"Chris! We're going to be some bitches uncle!" Nick shouted at Chris, not in a angry way but excited way. "And Matt's going to be a dad!" Chris replied happily "Hahaha!" You laugh when Matt finally pull the kiss away. "I-i'm going t-to be a dad" Matt cried, covering his face with his hands. "Awwwhh matt! Don't cry!" Nick pat matt back softly.

"This is the best birthday present ever!" Chris shows the camera the pregnancy results, showing the two lines saying that's positive. "Look guys! So cute!!"

"Alright guys! Thanks for watching! We love you and happy Friday!!" All of you wave at the camera and at the very last second of the video, matt suddenly pull you into another soft kiss, hearing some of Nick and Chris groans

I’ve always felt a bit weird about this song. I’ve seen other Gaylors call out that Taylor is an amazing songwriter and has a way with words, but sometimes her lyrics turn out quite tame, almost like how Taylor Swift haters think all her songs are. And it seems like sometimes she does this on purpose, every time because she’s trying to prove a point of some sort. I have no idea if what I’m trying to say here is old news for Gaylors, but this is my first time realising this so bear with me.

Let’s take a look at this:

“That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles, and my daddy said stay away from Juliet.”

The interesting part here, for me at least, is the last part. Stay away from Juliet. It isn’t specified who the father says that to, “Romeo” or Taylor.

The first part is interesting as well. “That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles.” “You were Romeo” sounds for me like how you feel when you come to terms with liking girls. It’s a shock. There is no Romeo in your life, there is another Juliet. You look at your girl crush and realise, THIS is Romeo. Not who I thought it’d be. And your father tells you that you’re supposed to have a Romeo in your life, and this isn’t Romeo, this isn’t a boy. You’re not supposed to love a girl like this, stay away from her, stay away from Juliet. And now look at that part of the song again. “That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles, and my daddy said stay away from Juliet.”

Now let’s take a look at “You’ll be the prince, and I’ll be the princess.” This is one of the sentences that have made my head hurt with this song. It’s so classic, such a cliché. Not at all the Taylor we know. But if we look at it like this: here we are, two girls in love, two Juliets. And it’s so new, so unfamiliar without a Romeo, without a prince. You’re still adapting to this new feeling. It’s like a new forbidden game. “You’ll be the prince Juliet, I’ll be princess Juliet, this is a new unfamiliar game for us.”

“It’s a love story”. As if there’s need to convincing. No, it’s not all a game, this is real, these feelings are love, please. say. yes.

so yall, this is honestly so comedic for me for some reason, even though I'm like secretly crying inside.

like we're gonna go in chronological order (look at me saying big words)

help idk why I put that.. anyways. so I got onto the bus, and I was like, the 2nd stop. Honestly, the bus wasn't all that crowded ngl but it wasn't anything compared to like the afternoon bus. so, like, I was so damn confused bc like new school and everything, and I went to the entrance of the school and good lord. tell me why it took me like a good 8 minutes to enter oml. ts sucks fr. bc there's so many kids and only like 2 doors with metal detectors. but like I went into the bathroom almost immediately and like fixed my appearance, and I had to find my class, and I actually had no trouble at all doing that, surprisingly. I was early as hell tho so that's something. but like I got situated... and everybody came into class but this one girl came in like super late and bro 🙈 holddddd onnnnn why was she kinda.... ahemmmmmm

you're not sure how long you've been running, but the soreness of your feets is enough to make you slow down on your pace. the puddles that you didn’t bother to dodge have soiled your shoes, but nothing is getting nastier than your mood now. orange and purple hues painted the sunset above you, as if this heavenly sight is mocking your dull dejected self. you hold your head up as you watch the clouds merge together, denying the tears that you thought you had already done crying for him.

his footsteps are catching up, you knew once you heard it without even turning back. “y/n! wait,” you’d lost count on how many times he has called your name today, but you think you can cherish that one last time. you didn’t stop walking, ignoring his pleas all along and pretending not to hear panic in his tone.

“i’m sorry i made you feel like you meant nothing to me!” he raised his voice, forcefully getting his words out of his hasty breathing. “but i swear, it’s the exact opposite!” his right hand clutched the fabric of his jersey in front of his chest, his erratic heartbeat makes it hard for him to think straight. 

you finally stopped in your tracks and turned around, watching him trying to catch his breath when you both weren’t even running at all. it’s your first time witnessing the middle blocker losing his cool, something he wouldn’t do even if his spike won’t get through the block in a match. you didn’t think you'd have that effect on him but you don’t want it.

“if anything, i’m the one who doesn't deserve you,” you heard it but you didn’t want his words to sink in and carved into your heart, it’s gonna hurt you even more anyway.   

“i thought, we don’t need confession or any of those cliches.” 

“we spent time together, i held your hands and walked you home every evening.”

“we played volleyball together, and ditched the twins to chill at the coffee shop that you loved so much.”

 

“i thought we’d get together naturally and then we're all good.”

“but god,” his eyes closed tightly and eyebrows knitted together, a similar expression he had when he made a mistake in an important match. a face that screams all the blame should be on him, he thinks he deserved it.

“atsumu told me, i should be more vocal with my feelings,” he chuckled, but his face made it clear it was anything but amused. he didn’t want to listen to the twins, not when they’re questioning his relationship with you like they knew you. he brushed off the idea of you not reciprocating his feelings at that moment, but right now he’s shaking under the pressure of it.

“i laughed at his face, saying that he was just being stupid.” he paused, contemplating on whether he want to admit how right the blonde setter was. 

“but i just realized how stupid am i right now,” he admitted, only because it was for you. suna doesn't care if he looks silly in front of you now, he wants you to be the only one who sees him without any filter.   

“fuck, i’m so sorry.” you watched his jaw stiffened as he gritted his teeth too hard. “if i could go back in time, i'd just let them laugh at me all they want. i'm sorry, i'd never want to hurt you.” he babbled out everything that swirled in his hazy mind, he was never good with words anyway.

at this rate, suna just rambled out his thoughts, desperately hoping to get his point across. the thought of losing you is too much for his heart.

“stop,” you reprimanded, releasing the breath that you didn’t know you’d been holding all this while. the pain seeping through your nails digging into your palm is what keeps you sane right now. “stop saying things that you don’t mean.” 

“if only,” you tried to muster a glare, but you find it hard to meet his eyes already. “if only, she weren’t here,” you're surprised how smoothly those words rolled out, you thought you’d at least cry in between those phrases.

“i’m content with just staying by your side,” 

“i’m happy with just you waiting for me at the school gates every day after practice”

“i liked it when we brought each others’ favourite snacks to lunch out of coincidence.”

“damn, i’m so glad you’re here when you find me crying after i lose a match.”

“i already fell for you ever since you walked into my life. it’s not even an option.” 

“you don’t even have to try, suna. i’d trade anything just to be with you,” you can't help the bitterness crept in as you raised your voice, something that you'd never do in front of him. 

he held his hand up to stop you, gesturing you to calm down. but you walked up to him and swatted his hand away weakly, voice cracking at the end of it. “you don't even realize how much i love you,” you whispered as your visions were blurred by your tears.

“but you already have her, what else do you want from me?”       

“wait, what－” his eyes widened at your confession, he internally scolded himself for not  responding to it properly. but the sudden mention of 'her' threw him off completely. “who’re you talking about?” he blurted out eventually, completely clueless. 

you paused for a moment to find any sign of deceit on his expression. but the disappointment dancing through your heart only obscured your judgement. “don’t play dumb with me, suna－”

“urmm,” a loud bubbly voice interjected, you two turned to the source of it because it sounded all too familiar for you to miss it. “i guess, you’re busy,” she blinked with a cheeky smile as she tilted her head in a cute manner. 

it's her, you thought as she stood a few metres away, finally able to see her up close. before this, you'd been avoiding them to save yourself from heartache at the sight of them. but as much as you'd like to leave immediately, your feets are glued to the ground as you find it tempting to observe her in this distance.

her dark brown silky hair tied into two ponytails, swaying along the wind smoothly. her glassy round eyes glistened in a slate green hue, almost similar to suna's. and she's wearing his maroon jacket too, it's probably oversized for her as it's towering her petite figure.

“wrong timing, brat.” suna huffed, hands on his hips as his lip frowned with annoyance. he didn't even spare her a second glance as he turned to face you again before telling her off  in a harsh tone. “just go home, dumbass.”

“well, i'd gladly go home by myself if you’d make me a spare key from the start," she retorted with a sly smirk, fueling up his irritation even more. he cursed under his breath as he violently shoved into his pocket to look for his house key. you watched him throw the shiny metal in the air for her, no intention to walk up to her at all.

she jumped excitedly to catch it, laughing in glee as she caught it and jiggled it in front of her. as she rushed to the school gates, she turned to wave back with giggles that could warm anyone's heart. just as you thought your heart would break at her sweetness, you felt the thump in your chest in her next word.

"thanks, rin-nii. see you later!” 

brother? your hands instinctively covered the lower half of your face, not believing what you just heard. but slowly you can feel heat flushed across your cheek, utterly embarrassed as you realize those bitter memories are merely misunderstandings.  

“by the way, l/n-san.” she turned around again, but this time she's looking into your eyes directly. “i’m looking forward to you being my in-law in the near future.” she said casually, throwing a thumbs up to you with a reassuring smile. 

“i said, go home!” if suna has a volleyball now, he will definitely throw it to her face. while they're bickering against each other, you fanned against your face vigorously as you try to calm the redness on your cheek. it's been awhile since you felt like this, you missed the feeling of suna made your skin crawl in fluster.

“look who’s the idiot now, worrying over nothing.” he gave you a side glance as you both walked down the street to your house, together again. you covered your face as you groaned in pure embarrassment, ignoring the weird looks you earned from strangers. 

suna pat your head softly as he attempted to comfort you, his eyes softened at the realization of being back to how you both used to again. you leaned into his touch instantly, missing the feeling of his calloused fingers on you. 

“but, wait!” you said as you whipped your head to him, causing him to retract his hand in surprise. “it’s not my fault that you didn’t tell me you have a sister!” you pouted with your arms folded, still not letting go of the thought of you mistaken his sibling as your rival.

“c’mon y/n,” suna laughed lightheartedly at your stubbornness. you silently cherished the way his deep laugh reverberated so freely, not even the funniest video of the twins fighting can do that to him. you’re glad that you’re the one who gets to see it. 

“why would you even think i’d date a brat like her,” he choked in between his laughter as his hands clutched on his abdomen. “didn't know you'd think that lowly of me,” he joked in his usual teasing demeanor, enjoying the hilarity from the entire incident. 

“but at least i get to hear you pouring your heart out for me so i guess it's not that bad, huh?”

“suna, i know there isn’t a written rule where females aren’t allowed into the clubroom,” kita said in his usual flat and unbothered tone, but the intensity of his glare is hard to ignore. “but please refrain yourself from initiating any inappropriate activities within the school premises.”

suna is both pissed and gloomy as he submits himself to his captain's lecture, trying his best to not snap at the twins' teasing in the background. he want nothing more but to meet you now so that he could complain to you about it.  

but the teasing is never ending, not even the senpai would want to miss out the opportunity to poke fun at their little deadpan and nonchalant kohai. 

“way to go, rintarou! you're the champ of the second year!” aran slapped his shoulder playfully as they walked to the school gates together. the ace laughed deeply like a proud dad as he watched suna's reaction.

“getting a s/o who plays volleyball too!? must be the love of volleyball!” of course, ginjima have to cheer with his fist pump up in the air. he just love volleyball so much.

“y/n is a really cool person, and super hot too! sunarin, you'd better watch out before me or samu snooped in and take them away,” the setter said with his signature shit-eating smirk, but they know it's all jokes.

“nooo wayyy, but i want y/n for myself too,” his sister whined as she swung your arm dramatically, you can't help but break a smile at her sweetness.

“yall can shut up and back off because y/n is mine.” suna sling his arm around you from behind, pulling you away from the crowd. he placed a kiss on your lips in a quick motion but it's enough to deliver the message.
