STUDY IN LOKI ROMANCE

Part 2: Breaking Brad

Since we're only a few days away from the last episode, I decided to COUNT DOWN everything we´ve got so far ( that can be interpreted very easily as romantic ) and discuss what the actual fuck is going on with second season. Because even though I shipped lokius practically from S1E2, I absolutely did NOT expect this kind of development. (Not that I´m complaining)

Warning: This is gonna be LONG post, lots of screenshots, lots of SPOILERS, lot of "oh-my-god-they-so-cute" language, and little bit of meta.

I originally thought that this post would be everything at once, but since I have just too many screenshots this time around, I´ll have to split it. so every post will be one episode. Color coding means:

IIIIIIIIII = anything, that coud potentialy be just acting choice.

IIIIIIIIII = everything else (tzn.: whatever was written, and/or carefully prepared by filmmakers. )

side note: I already wrote, about how amazing it is, that Mobius is unable to fight but fights anyway and how beautifuly, and ridiculously brave he is HERE. But this is about Loki/Mobius interactions, so I´ll try my best not to talk about THAT. (Even when I´m really happy, that s2 continues with this formula and Mobius is still his completely defenseless while aggressively brave self. I love him, btw.)

EPISODE 1 HERE

Okay, Check-list, ep 2:

Mobius opening up to Loki, and admiting he "lost it"

Loki trying to make him feel better and absolutely KILLING IT! btw, I know, that some people think, this scene doesn´t make sense, because Loki didn´t "lost it" during avengers, but was controlled by mind stone, etc.... well I think that it actually doesn´t matter. Guess what else doesn´t make sense? For example the fact, that they already talked about Loki fighting Avengers ( during their first meeting.) Loki is aware, that Mobius saw New York invasion at least twice now, and he´s telling him anyway. I would say, that point here is Loki trying to lift Mobius´s spirit, entertain him, make him smile. Why else woud he start his monolog by "remember, when...?" And I think, that this is huge, actually: Loki, using his bad memory, defeat, his humulianting experience to make Mobius feel better. So not only, that we see, he no longer care about being rurel but we see him making lightly fun of it FOR MOBIUS´S SAKE! He has different priorities now... our immortal god is a grown man now... it´s just so fucking beautiful... 🥺

Also Mobius saying to Loki: "come on, you´re the God of Mischief" Like it´s a best thing in the world, and Loki gives him THIS LOOK! (I mean that head tilt would be considered "acting" category, but I´m already making concessions by including all these things under one number :D

19) Loki and Mobius: mischievous duo

21) Loki, not following Sylvie, but actually staying with Mobius and comforting him. AGAIN. (which is an absolutely glaring contrast compared to episode 2 in first season!)

Best Shirt: I love his stupid “impressing the hippies” fit, 5 o’clock shadow included. He put his whole pussy into this outfit and I love that for him. The "kind bud" is part of the outfit btw

Episode Rating (on hot/crime metrics ONLY): I LOVE getting to see Dennis in something other than his usual wardrobe in this ep, and the crime is diverse and plentiful. A solid 9/10.

Hi, I'm here in the middle of a crisis because of Spn, like always. I have a theory for the last episodes, let's go. We know that Jensen and Jared are already in Vancouver to shoot the last episodes, and have been in quarantine for the past week. There's no sign of Misha going there, instead we got a video of him saying that Cas' ending was very final and what he wanted (we also know that Misha has been saying for YEARS that he wants Castiel to die). 

 So this brings me to Dabb's comment in february. He said the last episodes were going to include some nice eps like Young sam and dean, and a Castiel centric episode, where we're gonna see the world "through the angel's eyes." Now, we know that it isn't episode 14 (which is the holiday ep), or ep 15 (the nymph one) or ep 16 (Young Sam and Dean.) Since Jensen said that ep 19 is the season's finale, and ep 20 is the show's finale, we can assume that leaves us with episoe 17 or 18. 

 Episode 17 is called Unity, and it has an interesting Cast. It includes Uriel, and a credited "fangirl angel", which could mean that if this is the Cas centric episode, we could get a flashback with Uriel and maybe an scene where this angel says they admire Cas. Cool, right? BUT, the cast also includes Chuck and Amara in IMBD.

We know that there's probably gonna be another sibling talk, but this is the last time Emily Swallow is credited in the show, which means she either fucks off, or CHuck kills her: and that implies there's gonna be a fight of somer sort. If this is all about Cas, don't you think something like this might distract from the character? Anyways, this makes me believe the Cas centric episode is gonna be Episode 18, Despair. 

 I dont know who this Spencer or Lily are, but that doesn’t matter. Here’s what does. Do you remember that episode where Bobby gets shot in season 7? The episode after that focuses on Bobby and his memories, we see Sam and Dean but very briefly, and the episode is basically a farewell to both the character and the actor. Do you follow? What if... something happens to Cas in episode 17, when Chuck and Amara fight; or maybe the Empty comes to collect, and so episode 18 Despair (and wtf is UP with that name jfc) is Cas' centric episode, because we see him say goodbye, maybe take a trip in his mind: you know, see the world through his eyes... 

 Only 2 episodes are left to film, which is why J2 is in vancouver. But not just them, Jake Abel is also there to shoot episode 19. Misha is not credited, and let me remind you: this ep is the season finale. They're not missing any cast member in IMBD, if they had time to credit a "newscaster". 

Ep 18 is the last time Misha is credited in the show. This means episode 18 was shot very closely to the lockdown in some countries, right? In march we had a con, here's a tweet from a fan: 

 That's the day the con happened, btw. March 8th. It may be episode 17 or 18, but given that production stopped in March 13 because of covid, and episodes normally take 7 to 8 days to shoot, it probably was episode 17. So, an emotional scene between Cas and Dean? Could it be Cas' death scene? 

 This is another comment from a fan (idk who wrote it, soz) Talking about a text Misha mentioned that Daneel sent him, and Both Jensen and Misha being emotional while talking about this scene... 

 So that last week of filming was from March 9th, right? That's done. Tha's why he isn't filming the last 2 episodes. He's done. This is so fucking frustrating, and listen, it isn't because they decided to kill Cas off, but because Misha gave so much of him to this show and this character, and it seems unfair that he won't be there to say goodbye when he is as important to the show as J2 are. They should've found a way to get Cas in the last episode, even if they did kill him off. Im so upset.
