#it's a small thing in the grand scheme of things but if y'all could say a prayer for my job I'd appreciate it#THANKFULLY our boss has maintained a good and helpful and friendly attitude and isn't contributing to the stress#(she bought us lunch today! she's checking in on people! she's back to her old self)#(I'm actually gonna miss this side of her)#but work has been stressful#I kind of just drifted through today because I couldn't focus on much#we're in limbo and we're down one office person (we can manage but it's tight) and my boss is retiring and the potential new boss is iffy#and we've got fundraisers coming up and a lot of question marks#two people have cried today#possibly three#we have a team meeting on Friday just to debrief and regroup and I know the coordinator team will be negotiating for a raise#and I would possibly be including in that since my duties include picking up the slack and I've worked hard to cross-train#I'm the Jack of all trades here (which I like; that's a role I tend to take on and I'm ok with it)#I could REALLY use a raise but we've got a delicate balance and I don't want it upset#so...yeah#I wish it was warm enough to garden I need to tell it to the tomatoes
