hi everyone! i didn't think i was going to make a post because i hate being dramatic, but i decided to do it just in case anyone wants an explanation

long story short, i'm leaving tumblr!

despite this being kind of impulsive i'd actually been considering it for quite some time now; the original plan was to leave in january, but as some of you know, a few content creators have been getting harassed/doxxed recently and i, unfortunately, was one of them lol

the slew of anonymous hate i received was honestly more annoying than hurtful or anything (after all, i've never said anything i don't stand by, and i've also never done anything to hurt someone else — can't say the same for this person though), but i still thought expediting my process of leaving tumblr might be good, haha. there are other things i wanna focus on in life anyway and i can't lie sometimes i do feel like i've overstayed my welcome hhh

again, the harassment isn't the sole reason i'm leaving, but please remember to be kind to creators (and people in general); they have no obligation to stay in spaces that no longer bring them joy.

anyway, i just wanted to thank my readers for all your support. my blog growth was incredibly unexpected and i never considered myself a legit writer or anything, so the fact that you all still stuck around and read my work, listened to me ramble, and showed me kindness was an honor! i'm not good with words, but just know that all your affection has left a lasting impression on me, and i'm forever grateful for that — so thank you all a million times! maybe (hopefully) we'll cross paths again in the future :')
