Helluva Prediction
Stolas gives Blitzø the Asmodean crystal. Blitzø takes this the wrong way, and assumes this is Stolas telling him that actually, no, he isn't worth it, that it was fun to bang an imp for a bit, but he is done. However, he was pleased enough by Blitzø 's service or something, so, have an Asmodean crystal, good luck.
You know. He'll take it like that.
Apparently they have a duet or something coming up so I think that will be them singing at cross purposes, misinterpreting what the other has to say, possibly singing the same lyrics but meaning different things.
Full Moon will end with a break up.
I think something about it will shake Blitzø up enough that he might try to make things right with people he's hurt, like Barbie and Verosika in the episode 'apology tour'. Possibly Fizz will be involved, either by flat out telling him to apologize, or just because Blitzø sees that he feels better now that he and Fizz are becoming friends again and latches onto that in an effort to push back how sad he feels about Stolas. (Give the boy some healing) Something will go badly wrong though, and in 'Ghostf**kers' he will end up in need of help. Either because of the DHORKS from s 1 or because of Striker. That dude is pissed and has a vendetta against Blitzø.
So Stolas will come to save him (up on the air if he needs saving, the point is that Stolas will show up even though Blitzø has no reason to think he will) and acknowledge his feelings for real, out loud, no longer ashamed and hiding behind a menu.
I want Blitzø to have some time to grow as a person, to start edging towards forgiving himself. He is not in a good place, hasn't been in a long time, though I think starting to patch things up with Fizz has helped.
Anyway TL;DR
Blitzø will take being given the crystal the wrong way, he and Stolas will break up, Blitzø will end up in some serious trouble and Stolas will come to try and get him out of it which will show Blitzø the truth of how Stolas feels and we'll get an inroad to the two of them finally having an equitable and healthy relationship

So I am gonna write the thoughts I have about Cheeseshop AU bc writing things down helps me, and you guys are welcome to chip in your opinions/ask questions on it too!
Okay enjoy my ramblings bc this is going to be barely organised
So idk what the 'story' is of this AU, or even if there needs to be one, all I have so far is that Brick is a human who owns a cheese shop, and Gus, Peppino and Pep are her larger-that-average rat friends, whom she found outside (regardless if there is a tower or not, she'd meet them beforehand, (except for Pep in some cases, but we'll get to him))
So idea one, no tower at all! Brick just happily runs her little shop and everything is hunky-dory
Pros:
Do love a good 'slice of life' with some wacky antics thrown in
Opportunity for a different conflict or antagonist? I suppose this can be said for any of the ideas, but I am putting it here bc the other ideas have a Pizzaface/Pizzahead and they'd still be hanging around
Cons:
Maybe a little boring, and removes perhaps the main part of Pizza Tower - the Tower!!! And without her, probably wouldn't have a reason most of the other characters
Idea two; there is a tower, but it is all cheese - maybe even dairy themed? - and Brick must climb it to save her shop from an alternative Pizzaface (Cheeseface???)
Pro:
Easy to understand, since it would be mostly beat-for-beat as the OG
We'd get all the characters, albeit alternate versions of them
Cons:
Perhaps redundant (for lack of a better term)? Considering PT is mostly cheese, some things would be exactly the same, like Vigi and all the cheeseslimes
I think there is only so much one can do with cheese... Well, I'm sure you can do a lot with cheese, but I, personally, am perhaps limited on my cheese knowledge
Idea three!: Now this one's a little geared towards my own version of the game, but Cat Tower
I headcanon that Brick hates, and I mean hates, cats, so Pizzaface/Pizzahead would be a giant cat of sorts, and the tower would be cat themed. Story kinda the same with the shop being threatened with destruction, some of the reasons are changed (I cannot tell you original reasons bc spoilers for Pep's blog kdfkj)
Pros:
Who doesn't love cats!!! Well, besides Brick jfdlsdk
Get to draw furry things yippee!!
Cons:
Mostly stems from a single headcanon? Idk if that's a con, but it feels like it lgjdg
Idea four is kind of an 'add-on' to one of the other ideas, so there is a tower, but instead of the shop being threatened, Pizzaface (or whatever his alternative name would be) kidnaps Gustavo and Peppino, and Brick has to scale the tower to get them back
Brick would not have Pep in this version, as Pizzahead would still have a personal vendetta against Peppino (for some reason), and did the cloning thing with him anyway, so Pep would still be a boss
This is probably more game idea, than story, but basically Brick would go through each level of the tower with a different companion - so on her own for the first level, but as she rescues Gus and Peppino, and befriends Pep (and maybe some of the other bosses), they can help her progress!
Pros:
Interesting spin on the game
Cute reuniting moments
Extremely funny for this twink to have a vendetta against a single rat
Cons:
Again, probably more suited as game mechanics rather than a story?
Would still have to choose a theme for the tower and other characters
This is all I have for now, and it is probably even less coherent that I expected, but it is okay, I am just putting thoughts down
But now I am going to bed, so goodnight!!!!

Discworld | Part 3
The Adventurer's Log
I've been making some both serious and joking parallels with Sam & Max Hit the Road as that was the last game I played here. There was the conversation system comparison--they're the same system. And there was my vendetta against the ball of twine and another ball of twine coming up here. Well now, here's another one: post three equals me getting stuck along with a healthy dose of agony. This is a chronicle of errors. Here we go.
It started well enough. First it was palace time. The lineup to see the Patrician had a peasant to petition about the dragon. "Who wants to have their family charbroiled by a dragon? Soot's hell to shift."
Then there was Nanny Ogg! I have no idea what she's doing here, but she's here. She's also got a certain recipe book of custards, including a recipe for a love potion in there. I assume that will be relevant at some point.
And at the head of the line a thief from the guild to discuss an increase in their theft quotas for the duration of the dragon emergency.
Twoflower here with the Thieves Guild knowledge.
There was also a Fool and his Chucky the jester staff. I could interact with both of them, so that's probably important? But other than an insane (or seemingly so) conversation for a thoroughly exasperated Rincewind, I didn't glean anything useful yet. I'm certainly getting a large list of 'for later?' possibilities here.
And finally the Patrician. One day there may be an adaptation of Lord Vetinari I am wholly satisfied with, but it is not this day. I'm not a fan of this voice for him either. Anyhoo, Rincewind tried to cautiously and hypothetically approach the topic of the dragon. The Patrician wasn't having it and there were threats of visiting the "Information Retrieval Technicians" in the dungeons.
"There are no such things as dragons. They are a physical impossibility." Now what the full purpose and meaning of those statements are I'm not sure yet. We'll see how Vetinari-y he is here... Hopefully he's close to the book in this regard at least. For now a dead-end there.
There was a door that led to a fancy bathroom where I found a nice little mirror, so this visit wasn't a total bust.
I carried onto my last unchecked location on the map (I think; I thought haha): the city gate, where I found Nobby, Carrot and Sergeant Colon. Nobby and Carrot were accessible anyway. Colon was hungover up a guard-tower.
Carrot, the one in front of the gate, is a new recruit to the City Watch--all three of them. Definitely take an alternate universe approach here. No Vimes! Of course if he did exist, this would be a different game since he'd be dealing with this dragon situation. He's the main protagonist of the city watch arc.
And Carrot is very flattened to his literal mindedness and law abiding-ness. Overly so. He kept trying to arrest Rincewind for various things.
Nobby was fine I guess, but oof Carrot. Carrot my man they kind of did you dirty.
I also still didn't get much of help here! Though they are aware of someone running around stealing small items. cough.
Couldn't be us, nosiree. We'll just be on our way, my ol' Luggage and me.
I feel like I've been a bit complain-y, so I want to say I am overall enjoying myself quite a lot. I just think they fell into a habit of pushing some jokes too hard so they lose their humour. They also sometimes get overly reductionist with a lot of characters rather than simply not getting a full picture because they are just side NPCs. I don't know; it's a fine line to walk, but unfortunately I feel like there's some tripping over it here.
Back to the game, I had no firm idea what to do now. I'd been hoping I'd get more out of those last two locations, so I did a bit more wandering. I tried talking to the barber again after having talked to the woman dressed like a milk maid but nothing came of that. I went back to the psychia-trickerist and nothing more there for me either. Then I decided to check out the alley again. Something I'd forgotten to mention last time was there were periodic little explosions there. I was guessing the Alchemist's Guild may be nearby. I was sort of right.
I found out, somewhat accidentally, that when stepping on the tile that launches you, you can still move. There's a short period of time before it launches you, so you can just...step off. Oops. As it turns out I'd missed part of the alley before and found a building with... an Alchemist!
He's working with octo-cellulose to make moving pictures, or clickies. Now we're into Moving Pictures the book territory. He also has a camera. Cameras on the Disc work by having an imp inside paint the picture. There were also some apparatuses, a sink, a fireplace, strips of film and a flask with cooking oil.
But the camera. I was able to look in the camera and see the imp. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to take the imp at this point, but I was glad I knew where he was at least. I'd been wondering.
Outside was also a drainpipe and a mouse hole. I couldn't find a use for those yet either.
At this point, I still had no idea what to do about the dragon breath either (unless it's something to do with the dragon periodically burning a piece of the map, but my options on the map are limited... [spoiler alert: it wasn't]), but at least I knew where the imp was! Only one ingredient left that's a total mystery. Ha...ha...
However, now I also got stuck. Well, I ended up, due to an accident, making a little progress on things, but not in any immediately helpful way.
I'm a bit annoyed at myself because for now at least I'm avoiding checking a guide or hints. I wanted to check that I was using skills correctly, currently only pickpocket, and tried looking that up specifically rather than looking up the game manual. My mistake. That gave me a bunch of previews of walkthrough results instead and I ended up seeing a couple things. One to throw a tomato at the tax man in the stocks. And two, something about a hair roller on the woman at the barbershop.
It's not like I could forget either of those so I did the tomato. It didn't result in anything directly but when I went to get another tomato to keep one in my inventory, this time when picking one up there was a worm in the tomato and a mouse or rat went running by and Rincewind dropped the tomato. The tomato went splat on the mouse/rat I think (it all happened fast), the worm got free and the rodent ran off, and I was able to pick up the worm. I'm not sure if that's because I threw the tomato at the taxman and so it became a trigger or if it could have happened anytime the rodent runs by for some kind of timing-based puzzle, with the taxman being a way to get rid of the tomato so you can get another one or what. Either way I got a worm I guess.
My first thought was bait. I don't have anything I could use as a fishing rod nor any reason to need one right now, but I figured I'd try running with that idea anyway and try the twine with the worm. It worked so now I have a worm with string.
Turns out you can get two worms as long as one of them has the string. I briefly had a worm with string and just a worm. Then I gave the second worm string and so it became the same item and they merged into one I guess. Ah well, fun while it lasted.
As for the hair roller, I went back to the barber and yeah the woman had one in her hair that I missed before. Examining it led to a conversation about how those curls would be so traditional of her, but she wants to be at the head of fashion so the barber removed the hair roller for her. So, that's a thing that's done and I have no idea why or what do with. It's not like I got to keep the roller myself.
These weren't immediately helpful but they did end up so later. So, darn accidental guide usage.
I wandered aimlessly trying to find things I missed. I ultimately ended up coming back to the barber again--I kept not actually getting anything from there and there had to be something. This whole situation is just a string of accidents. Turns out while waving my cursor around I spotted a pocket on the barber. I tried pick-pocketing, but he spotted me. I talked to him to get him daydreaming about the milk maid again and then was able to pick his pocket and got the hair roller. I also examined the woman and found out she smelled faintly of brimstone. Are you making a connection, reader? Because I sure didn't!
Since I finally did a successful pick-pocketing I wondered if I might have missed anything with the sleazy hourglass holding guy in the library. While that aspect didn't go anywhere I did see that he had a golden banana in his ear that I'd missed before--his ticket to all of the library, gets you into the shelves, and gets you special service from the librarian.
I couldn't figure out how to get the banana off him if you can, so onto the pile of things to solve later.
While I was in the university anyway I stopped by the archchancellor's office just in case. And then I solved the dragon's breath by pure accident. Errors and accidents is the name of the game for this post after all! I wondered what would happen if you gave him other items. The hair roller seemed to have a notable point of being metal. So I just happened to choose it and... it was the item needed for the dragon's breath.
Let me tell you the brief rush of confusion and panic that flashed by though. Like can you give him anything? Can you lose items permanently?? Can you dead-end yourself after all??? When did I last save???? Then it hit me: woman smelling of brimstone. Passed onto the hair-roller. Close enough to dragon's breath, I guess. And just to make all this even better is that I had made a connection! If I had just carried the thought... See, when I saw she smelled faintly of brimstone, my first thought was "oh no, is she meant to be Sybil Ramkin?" because she doesn't seem anything like Sybil, but you know Sybil takes care of swamp dragons, so that could be why brimstone. Swamp dragons. Dragons. sigh. At least it was another ingredient so only one left! I thought.
I still had no idea what to do about that dang imp. Nobby had mentioned the Broken Drum and I was wondering if I might be missing a location entirely, while also worrying if I was maybe just missing something at the Alchemist's. I was getting kind of worried about not knowing what to focus on. Well, it turned out I was missing a location.
There it was, dinky little bit on the map that looks no different from anywhere else.
But a new location means new items. At least that's always the hope and it was the case here although they didn't end up being helpful to my current cause.
I had a chat with the bored bouncer troll who thumped Rincewind several times because Rinecewind kept saying words that rhymed with thump and he misheard I guess. It was another joke that went too long...
Then I headed inside.
I had several people to talk to:
the pair of Hublanders (same as Red Sorghum) who were just itching for a fight
the poor beat up guy who I guess got into a fight
a scared fellow who had his gate pass stolen by a ghost he thinks. He went on at length in quite some detail
the bartender
and Fleabart the Incredible, a major braggart
The gate pass seems like it may be relevant but not yet. Conversing with Fleabart led to getting a couple tankards of beer that could be shared with him or kept. I shared first then did it again and kept the drinks.
I chatted with the barkeep and got another drink and so kept the resultant empty tankard. And I scooped some safety matches off the bar.
There was a trapdoor leading to a very dark space. It was too dark to do anything and the matches don't seem to be helpful on their own. I left it for now. As well.
Since I missed the Broken Drum on the map, I wondered if I missed other areas. Sure enough:
I missed a livery stable. I like this map in some ways, but man there is just 0 indication of locations to visit. I was doing a sweeping the mouse all over in a pixel hunt at this point.
I thought I got a screencap of the livery stable. I guess I did not. Well, there was a little stable, a cart, a sack of corn and a donkey that appeared under the weather and has a tail that could be interacted with. I got some corn and made note of the donkey.
Corn! My saviour! I knew exactly what to do if not how exactly it would help. Back to the alchemist and that flask of cooking oil.
Popcorn! Or as they know it, banged-corn! (A Moving Pictures the book thing).
With the Alchemist hiding from the unexpected rain of snacks I was able to try to grab the imp. Except the imp ran away into the sink and down the drainpipe outside and into the mouse hole. But that was okay! I was riding the high of finding solutions and making progress and knowing what I was doing rather than stumbling into things accidentally. It was worm on a string time. I figured I could send it in after the imp or use it as bait. The imp was drawn out by the worm on a string and Rincewind snagged the imp.
Who's my good worm. You are, yes you are. Mission accomplished!
I wandered back to the Archchancellor feeling all good and ready to see this spell come into fruition and...
And he took the imp and sent me on my way as he always does.
You know earlier how I said this, "Only one ingredient left that's a total mystery." You know how I said this was a post of errors? Yeah, here's the biggest one. My apparently not so good observation skills strike again. Turns out I managed to miss seeing and hearing an ingredient entirely! I guess there was a total mystery ingredient!
That's right. I also need a magic coil, or, for more detail: 'a spiral of neverfailing induction'. I did see it before; I just didn't... register it somehow. I haven't a clue where this is. I wasn't keeping any eye out for anything like this. I'm just staring at my notes desperately trying to narrow down where I haven't found anything or didn't find much and hoping like heck I'm not missing yet another location entirely somehow. Gently screaming.
I did pop back to the Broken Drum. New location and all. I learn my lessons. ish. I talked to the barkeep again and got some Counterwise wine that Rincewind drunk but I got to keep the glass.
Basically made of grapes from the future. Rincewind doesn't remember last night. Rincewind's hangover happened yesterday.
Meanwhile I've gone from sweet sweet victory to what now? Where is this coil??
Locations that I've gotten nothing or very little from:
Fishmongers: I got an octopus portrait I may have forgotten to mention but that's it. There's that swordfish, and caviar
Inn
Park
Palace only gave me mirror
Livery Stable only gave me corn and still have sad or sick donkey unresolved
Dunnyking machine area
City gate
So maybe something from one of those. I think I've now found all the locations on the map. I really swept around it with my mouse after the Broken Drum and livery stable.
So, next time it's time to find the Fifth Ingredient. May it not lead me to even more agony.

Hey, this is Star anon after totally not disappearing for half a year again. This is completely different to what I normally come up with, but last chapter’s talk with Time and the especially heavy focus on morality these last three chapters reminded me of a few songs I’d heard from a musical. These being ‘Just a man’, ‘No longer you’ and ‘Monster’ from EPIC the Musical. Fair warning of course that the details don’t always correlate too well, and two of these songs are technically unfinished. Overall the second and third songs remind me of Spirit and Warriors respectively, while the first feels like it could fit either of them. Besides that, thoroughly enjoying your exploration of morality these last few chapters!
Hello Star anon! It's been so long! I'm always so excited to see you pop in. And I'm glad that you're enjoying the morality explorations going on in CTB as of late.
That being said
HOW DARE YOU MAKE ME LISTEN TO EPIC
I have had the (admittedly silly) biggest vendetta against that dang thing since the moment I was forced to listen to that stupid modest goddess sound bite over and over again by un-creative tiktokers. I swore I was NEVER going to give it my attention, even if my main man Odysseus is in it.
But alas, you have forced my hand and I listened to the songs you recommended. Turns out it's not half-bad when it's not trying to sound like a Lin Manual Miranda worst hits playlist.
Anyway, I see where your mind is with your recommendations.
Personally, I think "Just a Man" kinda fits Spirit the best, with that struggle to decide how far he's willing to go to save his skin:
Will these actions haunt my days? Every man I've slain Is the price I pay, endless pain [...] Whose trying to go home Even after all the years away from what I've known
"No Longer You" can also be a Spirit anthem, because boy. When he managed to get back to New Hyrule, he was not the same man who left:
I see the sacrifice of man I see portrayals of betrayals And a brother's final stand I see you on the brink of death I see you draw your final breath I see a man who gets to make it home alive But it's no longer you
"Monster" is 100% Warriors committing to doing whatever it takes to end the war, even if he has to throw his morals out the window, consciously or not:
I'm surrounded by the souls of those I've lost I'm the only whose line I haven't crossed What if the greatest threat we'll find across the sea Is me? [...] What if I'm the one who killed you Every time I caved to guilt?
Thank you for the recommendations, even if I had to listen to this musical. The music's actually not half bad, though I will continue to grumble about it as a part of the bit.

This is a bit much for us no. They go overseas now you try and take the boats and ships and getting into really big fights with foreigners and foreign warlock huge fights it's going on now they are getting beaten up too instead of awful awful people this is an idiot satanists and they're terrible when we are going to try and do our best to work something out use them up at least. It's going on right now there's a huge loss of theirs that just happened and it was that 3,000 trillion and some of them are really a little saying it's far too expensive they're reeling from it and there are others who are not. It's a massive massive war and tons of them are having problems mentally and here it's a nightmare so a movie in to take care of it and Mac is no different he's up and down he's in and out and he needs to stop blabbing about us it's none of his business what we're up to going to send you out on The wire he's going to start getting in trouble I was trying to capture Us in the first place his mouth is going like a motorboat he was going that way this morning and haven't doing the laundry and I'm not getting anything. My son says we should send a message you're not doing a f****** thing but having me do this stupid laundry there and you're not going to capture My people by having me do laundry stupid f****** weirdo the guy needs to learn it so I'm sending messages insane so you're saying the laundrymat's not it and he starts saying okay and you don't have to be there and he finally got it so if he does that to us we'll do that in reverse as payment for his insulince. Tons and tons of people don't care huge loads of people here and don't care and it is going on right now now we have some events going on here they're big and they are causing destruction to the morlock
-the huge wars they're waging overseas are starting to affect them here. Personal vendetta have come about with primarily the Max and the clones and now they're coming out against minority morlock and minorities or foreigners really they're not minorities but that's what they call them we've always had a grudge but these people are starting to get in trouble with everybody and we mean minority morlok. You're walking talking billboard Mercedes stuff to go around pounding their fists before in countries demanding stuff and they get beat up quite often there's always somebody missing when they come home always every time... This a****** Garth password all the time too it sounds like these guys he's always surrounded by them and he can't stop himself so other minority more like to see it and use it and they try and stop the morlock macs. Now these people are taking severe beating these mac warlock I don't know of any other group you taking such a beating a beating maybe the clones yeah they're getting beating after beating too... It is catching one out here and who's becoming a problem for them and they're getting nailed. We have a problem with them questioning our son with us mini f****** nitpicking God damn s*** said blow his head off for the shotgun on the neck the stupid f****** prick trying to force him to tell him what pink means on a license plate said who cares about your stupid show your pee on and it kind of is so he's walking around nervous and it got hit. You have time for this stupid s*** s***. Anyways so there's this phenomena occurring now and it's very bad. And there are hundreds and hundreds of people who are going after them. There's a lot of there a lot of incidents and the max are realizing where what was his jackasses were picking up pissing us off all day they're attacking our bases they're attacking our factories and friends and loved ones and they've had enough of these jackasses in their talk. It's a huge number of people on the line saying a son didn't get enough protein but really it's done in their business that's probably true but he's full so we are going to war with these warlocks too but a ton of people are hitting them and they're coming in to hit them cuz they want the bosses and they want them bad. They were 90 households in the neighborhood and we anticipate 80 by the end of tonight 10 of them are heading towards the border in the back side and it is going to be a catastrophe for them. Is it always is. And there's a lot more odd things happening like that
-the clones have declared war and practically everyone and people are going to The Hague tonight which is a daylight tomorrow and we're going to present our stuff in the max are everyone is about them even more like have a small presentation and we believe that everybody is going to arm up and go after them it is about time it's the talk of the Town it's on the streets it's in the treetops it's everywhere
-there's a huge number of people who have to go after the clones and after Tommy have for revenge and they say it too don't get in our way after and stuff like that and it's these idiot more lock and they're going to discuss them too and really they might not be there after they hear what it's about because they've been sitting on it
-there's a huge number of them trying to make devices cuz they know about it and people going after them and they are taking them down and the devices are being used on them quite often
-there's a giant number of these idiots who are trying to get into Charlotte county and they're trying to get in here surreptitiously and they're trying to get in here by force and the powers that be are intercepting them nobody wants to see that crap they're going after them pretty hard there are a number of people here who are organizing it and they get picked up arrested and put in prison and most of the time executed
-there's a lot of things other than this that are happening and is important to note that they're very huge one of them is construction we started projects we started about 500 projects this week and last week we had a hundred going we also started about 5,000 public works projects and $10,000 highway projects and out of those 1000 public works projects are a million dollars to $10 million dollars maximum and then out of the highway number there's a thousand projects from 1 to 10 million and 500 projects from 10 million to 30 million and about 300 projects from 30 million to 80 million and so on all the way down to about five projects at 2 billion dollars and those are bridges and they're going to be huge and they reward to us out of 10 bridges in Florida of that size so we have half and we are going to start coming up this coming Monday and we're mobilizing now there will be a difference down here and Max says if we're fighting them we're doing something
-there are about 3,000 of government buildings being built that we were awarded from a bidding war that was not settled and people just sat there and you can't do that or you lose the projects and most of them were locked and they're trying to argue it and try and get Court in there getting arrested what you're doing is illegal they can try to go to court but they can't say and do what they're doing.
-there's another few items there's probably 4,000 canals in Charlotte county alone those canals and that canal system needs to be purged and he is of commodore and other surface water runoff soils and it's not leaving it goes like an inch every few days is terribly stinky and is very gross and it's not working someone tried cutting a channel on the other side through one of the harbors that was smaller and it stunk the hell afterwards and it didn't wash it out and bugs are everywhere so the idiots will probably get that tow boat out there. And we're contracting and they do it by area to do probably 50% of them in Charlotte county and Mac has the other 50% and that those are the canals most of them are small they just use a small dredger and it stinks to high hell. The river and the harbor are going to be by the state no it's by contract and we're kind of a contingent for it but all of the Mac is going to be brought to a collection site processed meaning they're going to mix it after testing
Former president Trump shall be indicted by the January 6th committee and it was sent over in a letter and it's a formal letter from the department of Justice that stated that he will be indicted and it is upcoming and he's not to leave the country and if he leaves the country he'll be arrested and brought back to the United States and indicted immediately and Trump might forget that and he'll get in trouble because he did that to our son a lot and forget things
-and the rivers and the harbors are into contention for the contracts but they'll be awarded shortly and the Mark will be taking the same place and really they're going to use it for tobacco these contracts are very short in time you have only a few days to clear it and we have methods are very fast and they want to know about skeletons and debris it was gross the whole meeting was gross but we just told them what we're going to do and they liked it other contractors were not ready with answers and those were the idiots the max had answers but some of them they would not answer. That's going to get done at some of what's going on here huge contracts are let out for heavy highway and structures and government buildings and apartment complexes out of those 500 and 300 are reclamation projects in other words houses that are condemned or apartment areas that are condemned and they're not in use 200 or new and we're submitted last year and not approved because of the planning board and building department that was in place being corrupt as hell.
-and there are other things happening and it is going to be an interesting evening. There are a couple more things one is these warlock are now being shunned by the world and including Tommy f for being outright blasphemes, but really Tommy f is generating most of it
-it seems to be a lot of work in and around fisheries so Max and people looked at it and they're out there screwing it up so they're all fired from there. As a result of that most of them got pulled out of the waterways and what are whatever capacity they had including Dan and Trump then both of their contracts are canceled they were from the state of Florida and Jason actually avoided it and it was to capture them doing the job and he's been implicated in the crime and he's going to be arrested tonight for it and yes these assholes are going down the river again they're going to be in a specific movie and takes place in Miami after the escape they go there and they usually do no but they did after this and it's actually to figure out who the people are and to go after them and they are really pissed off at them it's like Donnie brasco and it's not Al Pacino's movie but it is a famous film and it's a mobster film and there's a couple other things going on
And we're going to publish more shortly

I had something to do with a lot of that

Ok then. (This will be based off of Sekai versions)
20. Nene
Listen. I fucking love Glory Steady Go! and Hakoniwa no Coral but Nijiiro Stories sure does Exist and Starry Sky Melody has the crime of doing Meiko so fucking dirty it is actually at the very bottom of my overall list for the commissions. Nene ily but your commissions are so hit and miss to me and there's only so much Glory Steady Go! can carry for the lows. If we are counting Cup Noodle Ban though I suppose she's higher than 19 (not counting the collab ones though because they're technically not for the character).
19. Tsukasa
I cannot listen to Filament Fever I have tried and every single time I found myself zoning out and couldn't remember any of it. I also have a personal vendetta against Tondemo on behalf of that chart.
18. Saki
I apologise to the Tenmas first of all. Second of all I love Stella and TeraTera it's just From Tokyo is too eh and Twins is cool but actually forgettable unlike the rest of L/N comms. Like I have never seen anyone talk about it but I don't really have much to say either. The MV is pretty and I like the chorus.
17. Shizuku
Unlike the last three I do actually enjoy every Shizuku comm it's just that most of them are average to me. Hearing I Am, We Are full for the first time did something to me though and Hug is amazing.
16. Toya
I had to actually think about who to put here I think that says a lot about how much I like Sekai comms. This is mostly because I can't bring myself to care about Rad Dogs and Utsuro wo Aogu. Like, they're good but not my thing. Mirai and Blender carry.
15. Mafuyu
This is because of Saisei. I like it but I prefer the og. Also I feel like Jackpot Sad Girl gets buried by later comms for me. Bug and Theatre are the jam though.
14. Rui
As Tumblr's Number One Forward Defender (a title I have just given myself) I treat Becoming Potatoes in the same way people treat Forward because Emu literally does not sing outside of the chorus people just don't mention it because of how loud she is. Which yes isn't as bad as how the boys are treated in Forward but still. Rui's other comms are all good though. I really like What Sort Of Ending Are You Wishing For? and CYBERPUNK DEAD BOY.
13. An
Speaking of Forward. Yes I know it has line distribution issues but I don't care I love it. For an event that did mostly focus on An and Kohane as partners I find it fitting that it is pretty much just them. Plus Sekai was just like that back then (see Emu in Becoming Potatoes). Machi and Gekokujou are my favs and Awake Now is in my upper half ranking wise.
12. Haruka
IF SWEEP FOREVER. Anyway sadly Haruka only has 3 commissions while everyone else has 4 (and Minori has 5 we'll get to that) but luckily my resident Haruka friend on discord showed me the joys of Love Material a while back and tht one bit of Float Planner gets stuck in my head whenever I think of it so. 3 of 3 I really enjoy!! Also If is my fav mmj commission and placing Haruka this low was painful.
11. Mizuki
Every Mizuki comm is good it's just that Lower is the only one I will actively go out of my way to listen to. Like if Kitty/IDSmile/Give Me Your Night came on I would listen to it and have a good time but Lower is the only one to really drag me in.
10. Airi
Of course there is DAKARA MOTTO which instantly puts Airi high for existing but Parasol Cider and Momoiro no Kagi which I really love. Ice Drop isn't as big for me though.
9. Emu
Niccori Survey Team will probably be my favourite WxS commission forever. It's just so fun to listen to. I really like Starry Sky Orchestra as well and Kirapipi★Kirapika is enjoyable too. We don't talk about Once Upon A Dream.
8. Ichika
Made To Order my beloved. Made To Order single handedly brings Ichika to top 10 but then there's The WALL as well and wow. Pulse of the Meteor and Hoshi o Tsunagu are both fun as well. Ichika was initially higher but then I realised I liked the next two's comms more overall even if Made To Order is higher than all of theirs.
7. Ena
Much like how I defend Forward I will also defend Close To Gray there is so much power and emotion in that final chorus. Idk why people dislike it. Also just. Nomad and Ai Nandesu. I Am Rain just released on jp as well and I really love it.
6. Shiho
As I am writing this I keep moving Shiho up and in my defence NAKANAI YOU NI WARATTATE. 「1」 is so good. So is Peaky Peaky. So is Voices. Purpose is fun if in need of a few more listens to really appreciate. Basically Shiho has amazing commissions.
5. Honami
Awaiting Clear Skies is fun but not high up. Anyway Honami's other three commissions are AMAZING. Stage of Sekai has been my favourite L/N for a while, and it only got surpassed by another Honami commission - Regulus. Also Flyway do I need to explain Flyway. Honami Mochizuki is revolutionary.
4. Kohane
I am biased maybe but also I just really like Kohane commissions. Like with Regulus finally beating Stage of Sekai, Beat Eater had been my favourite for Kohane for a while and then Hitsuji ga Ippiki happened last year. Flyer! is such a feel good song as well and Realize gives off the vibe of an anime's special season finale outro which, considering how Vivid Bad Squad operate as a unit story yeah it fits.
3. Kanade
Samsa was a song I was excited for on behalf of Kanade finally getting a 3DMV commission after two and a half years. Then it blew right up to my favourite songs in the game because of how good it was and DESPITE THAT, Kanade Tomosu Sora is still my fav Kanade commission. It changed me. Tricologe may not reach the levels the other two are on but it's still rather high up for me, and then Passion at 25:00 felt like it slipped under the radar on here but it's AMAZING.
2. Minori
Ok we've got to that. Yes I am upset about Minori getting an event that considering how long it had been since Haruka 3 should have been a Haruka event, but JUMPIN' OVER! is great. So great I can forgive the event thing, which yes the song maybe wouldn't have changed if it was Haruka but it wouldn't have had as much Minori and this song fits her voice so well. Anyway her other comms are all really good as well. Angel's Clover is Angel's Clover, DREAM PLACE was my fav Minori song for a bit, Worldwide Wander sticks out with how different it feels to other MMJ commissions in a good way and then Teammate is one of the few songs I have found myself crying to in general. Minori has yet to miss for me in commissions.
1. Akito
Kashika exists. That is why Akito is number one. But in all seriousness Akito is also on the no misses list with Minori (the others being Shiho, Kohane, Kanade and Ena for anyone wondering) and I feel like that's self explanatory really. Cinema still holds up despite being early game, Moonlight was produced by Harumaki Gohan (one of my fav producers) and Kitani Tatsuya (I really like Devil's Manner) so I was always going to love it and CR詠ZY felt like I was being beat up but in a good way. They were beating me up with how good their singing was. Also, again, Kashika exists and is beautiful and I was obsessed with it the second I first listened to it.
Anyway that's my ranking. What have we learnt from this? Idk, I like Leo/Need commissions? Feel free to scream at me in my ask box.
Could make people mad at me and post my ranking of every character based on who has my fav/least fav comms
#under a cut because this predictably got very long#like. very very long#bagel's rambles#putting my opinions on the internet this is scary...

Kacchako Positivity Week Day1: Fragile
Ah~ Finally got over my anxiety and finished this piece. Then I spent a few more hours writing a fic to explain the situation. I end up doing that for other pieces too I guess.
Do not repost
If you like my work, please buy me a ko-fi. I need to upgrade my laptop(so many bugs). And I do need a new scanner. I want to make big A3 pieces! Coz details!!! Also making a custom drawing table with lightbox. Extra funds would be really helpful with my restart on illustration. OuO/ Cheers
Introductions~ the ones not explained on the Roses piece anyway.
Todoroki as runaway dragon prince, will drink a bar dry. Aizawa's as fae clergyman under the Church of Ibara, might die if he manages to finish that mug. Kiri and Sero as human mercenaries. Jiro as fae bard. Mina fell asleep waiting for Ochako to come back after running off with a stranger. Toru as light fae bar maid, decorates the pies and everything else. Dabi as the missing dragon prince currently working for the Ones Cursed by the Sun. Toga as bloodsucking demon also working with Dabi. They like the food here.
Storytime~
If anyone would ask, some would say that nothing is as fragile as the Thorn Prince's ego. But they would be wrong. It hasn't been true for many years now. Some would say it is the Rose Princess since she's been confined to the castle all her life. That too is just a common guess. It is something not many would expect--a secret kept from the plebians, the knights, and even the nobles. That seemingly endless sky forms it's first crack, because of a chance meeting? What does the future hold for these two young lords, and how will they mold it?
This scene: (Sorry for the messy construction. I'm really sleepy.)
Katsuki and Ochako are just coming back to the tavern after spending quite a lot of time having fun finding out more about each other. Iida and Kirishima run in and abruptly grab hold of their respective lords to separate them. "I, Knight of Rose Tenya Iida, in response to your violence against the Princess, have a duty to imprison you. Surrender or face worse punishment!" Tenya declares while drawing his sword.
BK: Princess? Oy! You didn't tell me about that. What's the big deal? (taking a big step forward)
Kiri: Hey, stop. Where did you run off to anyway? You two have been gone for 4 hours. This guy kept threatening to run you through! And goddamn, he runs fast.
Ochako: I thought that if you knew, you'd treat me differently.
BK: Differently? What would YOU do if you found out that I am a demon prince?
Ochako: Eh?!
Kiri: He's no- (gets punched)
BK: Let go already! (Points thumb on self)I am Prince Katsuki Bakugou of the Thorns.
Ochako: (trying to get past Iida's arm) It doesn't matter to me, one bit. We were having so much fun swinging swords on the rooftops. I don't want to miss a chance to make friends with someone so skilled!
Iida: gasp* How dare you swing your sword at such a fragile girl?
Ochako/BK: I'm/She's not fragile!
Iida: Regardless, you shouldn't mingle with demons without charm markings. They're dangerously unpredictable. Don't you know how quickly they turn into beast at the slight smell of blood?
Kiri: That's nonsense! I've been living with demons for a few years now. I've bled from sword training, yet I have never been attacked.
Iida: Silence! It doesn't apply to you, dragon. (swinging his sword very close to Kiri's face and pulling it back to a defensive position)
BK: Point your sword at him again, and I'd cut that arm off!
Kiri: Hey, no harm done. Let's just go home. (turning to face BK, ready to fly him off)
Iida: Monsters like you just bring disquiet and adversity. Do you even know your place in this country, demon?
Ochako: Don't say such awful things! Those accusations are simply untrue. (Still trying to get past Iida) You can't keep being like this to them. It's just one demon who-
Iida: You, how many times have I told you to stay away from trouble! (Pulling her cloak and pushing her back a few feet) We will go back to the castle this instant.
Bakugou shoves Kiri aside not leaving his glare on the knight. "For someone so large, you sure carry a small sword."
Iida: It's so I can fight in narrow spaces to prote-
"I'm not talking about that metal stick, you self righteous brick." BK huffs, walking closer. "You smell of fear. Someone with as weak a heart as yours can't protect Ochako."
Kiri rushes between them, lines growing on his face as he prepared to match BK's strenght. "Calm down. Calm down! We don't want trouble. We're just going home, right?" Kiri turns to face Iida to apologize but was met with the tip of his blade. He jumped back, pushing BK behind him. Bakugou's eyes turned to slits, markings tearing out of his eyes and cheeks, "You really got on my nerves, but this is different. I'm going to fucking kill you!" Kirishima barely stopped BK from pulling his sword out, eyes enlarged as he struggles to hold down his friend.
The surge of demonic aura flung open Iida's shield. "Iida, put down your sword!" Ochako pleaded as she tried to pull down his arm. "I command you! Put down your sword!"
Iida: If it's my blood you want then come get it!
BK: I'm not just going for blood. I'm going to fucking devour you!!!
Mina rushes out of the tavern, woken up by BK's demonic aura. "What's happening here? It's dangerous to let your power loose. If Iida finds out."
Ochako: Mina! Help me stop Iida. He's going to get himself killed.
Kiri: Mina? What are you doing here?
Mina was startled to see both the princess and her childhood friend, but upon looking farther she froze. 'He's the prince. The Thorn Prince!' At that very moment her instincts forced her to grovel.
Iida was taken aback: Mina what are you doing. Get up!
Mina: Lord Bakugou, please spare my idiotic companion! He is just doing his duty.
BK: He pointed his sword at my friend. Twice!
Mina: He's just very verbal with his hands, my Lord.
BK: What does that even mean, pink hair? This guy has been running his mouth about us demons. Am I supposed to just let that go?
Iida: If there is a witness, then it is true isn't it?
Ochako: It was just one demon! Pleaaase, put down your sword.
Kiri legs are starting to tremble against BK's weight. "Stop, Bakugou! The sun is setting!!!"
BK: Not till I take his head!
Mina shouts even louder hoping that they'd acknowledge her. "Take mine instead! Both of you, take my horns. I can't let my Lord and my companion fight each other over such trivial things! If anyone should be punished it should be me. I let her out of the castle and left her to roam unaccompanied. It's my fault!!!"
BK can't stand being ordered around, but this demon was adamant in her plea. "Who is your master, pink hair?"
Mina: I am Princess Ochako's servant my Lord.
BK: And who is this obscenely judgemental man to you?
Mina: A work companion who is dearly beloved to the princess. He is like a brother to her.
BK looks over to Ochako, still pulling Iida's arm back in the verge of tears: Tsk... Kirishima we're going home.
Kirishima almost fell forward as the weight against him disappeared. "Thank goodness." He bends over to Mina to help her up. "Hey, I'm glad to see you again."
Mina wrapped her arms around him. "Wow, you really changed." Kiri hugs her back, "Yeah."
BK from high up shouting: Stop exchanging looks. The sun's almost gone. Mom's gonna kill me!
Kiri: What are you saying? Geez. See you later, Mina. You gonna be here tomorrow?(unfolding his wings)
Mina: I'll send you a bird.
Kiri: Aww yiss! Bye~
Mina and Ochako watched them fly off into the sunset as Iida sheathes his sword.
Ochako gave a sigh of relief, her hands still trembling in Mina's. Iida grabbed on to Ochako's arm. "It's about time we go too. Pick up your things." He tried saying it as softly as he can with his strained breath.
Mina threw a loud slap across Iida's face. "What was that? How dare you! You put our lady in danger because of your personal vendetta? You go to the barracks on your own! We'll take a carriage."
Ochako's tears started to flow. "Mina, please don't be mean to him. He was just trying to protect me."
"No. That was just him being a jerk. He must have unnecessarily provoked the Prince. You saw how nice that guy is."
"But... but... *hnnggg*" Ochako buried her face into Iida's chest. "I thought you were gonna die! Stop starting fights. I was so scared. What if you leave me too? What will I do? I'm not powerful enough to save you yet." Her legs finally gave in after a whole day of running about. Iida caught her and lifted her up. "Tenya, promise me you'd stay safe."
Her expression was too much for Iida. He can't bare looking at her so he hugged her tightly, his head resting on her shoulder. "I'll do my best to keep this promise."
Mina is annoyed, but her lady needed to be reassured. "Fine~ We'll all ride the carriage."
They already left~
Todoroki: Well that's unexpected.
Aizawa: Urgh What farce. To think they'd actually meet. This is going to be troublesome.
Todoroki chugging down another mug: The aura he released isn't even a portion of his real power.
Aizawa: With luck, the charms on his body will restrain him till he is able to control it.
Todo: I think I can handle him easily. For now~
Aizawa takes a sip: Have you noticed the darkness lingering about them while they went around town?
Todo: You mean, aside from you? (Aizawa looking a bit annoyed.) Not till just a while ago. They got drawn to him when he let loose.
Aizawa: sigh~ What was the queen thinking? Doing this so close to the ceremony?
Todo: She loves her son. (Raises hand to get another mug.
Aizawa: A bit too much.
Todo: Cheers (clunk)
Aizawa: For the blue sky.
Todo: And the blue sea.

Chapter 3: A Single Bone
“I don’t think that’s the best idea,” Bryan responds as Mel punches his fist in the air- vengefully. “Perhaps we should go to Applebee’s Grill & Bar?”
“This is no time for delicious meals, Bryan. I’m going to find out who targeted Mason. You don’t have to follow me, but I kind of just assumed you would, you tend to follow me places.”
“I just think friendship is cool,” Bryan smiles.
"Okay. Anyways, I know where we need to go first."
---
Mel and Bryan walk into Tony's Place, looking for the men they always see playing poker. One of them has to know somebody or know something. As they walk through the saloon-like doors of the establishment, they're met with the hardened glances of the Tony's Place regulars as everyone looks at the two 16 year old's. Du Hast is blasting through the speaker.
Bryan begins to cower back into the street but Mel ignores any sign of danger and heads straight for the poker table, determination burning with every step.
"I have a question," he says to the ringleader of the poker players. He wears a neat suit with a tie, with a bowler hat tipped forward, hiding his menacing glare.
"Whaddaya need kiddo?" the mobster-like persona speaks with a stereotypical New York accent. He takes out a pipe and starts smoking. Weed.
"We need information. We're trying to track someone down." Mel responds, resisting the urge to do his anti-weed dance. Mel doesn't do drugs, and is a good student in school. "You seem like you know how to find people." Mel places confidence on his words, despite basing this assumption off of movie stereotypes, and the pin on the man's suit that says "I know how to find people."
Bryan steps forward friendlily. "What's your name?"
The man studies the two boys for a moment. "The boys call me Greasy Dick. Nice ta meet ya. And yeah, I knows a guy or two. Gonna cost yous some service though." Greasy Dick starts counting hundred dollar bills on the table.
"What do you mean by that, Greasy Dick? What kind of service?" Mel asks cautiously.
"Well, my boys and I have been shippin' some merchandise across the sound. Keeps gettin' hijacked by a coupla' bastards. If yous can stop these sons of bitches from yankin' my chain, I'll find the right guy for ya. Whaddaya say boys?"
Mel and Bryan look at each other. Bryan frantically shakes his head. "We'll do it. Where do we go?" Mel asks.
---
The cloudy sky looms above the sound. The taste of salt surrounds them, and the windy air carries the sound of ships setting sail and sailors singing sea shanties. Mel and Bryan stand on the docks, with newly fitted white blouses and black breeches. Bryan found a sword to wield.
"That's the one Greasy Dick said. The one with the bone." Mel points at a large ship waving a black flag with a single bone on it. Bryan peers at the ship and says "Right let's go then."
The two friends board the ship and reach the deck. They stop in front of a crew of people surrounded by a guy in a captain's hat.
"Bone?" Mel says, noticing his uncle in the center of the deck. "You're a merchant?"
"Oh, hi. Yeah, I'm merchant coordinator for my discord server. We do some work on the side. Why are you guys here?"
"We were sent to help you with your shipment, make sure it doesn't get stolen again." Bryan says.
"Greasy Dick sent you?" Bone thinks for a moment about the responsible thing to do in this situation. "Okay, whatever. The crew is the rest of my discord server. Talk to them, or don't. I'll be steering the ship." Mel and Bryan nod.
"Hey, Mel and Bryan, welcome aboard!" One of the crewmates greets them as they walk away from Bone. "I'm Sea Man, I'm new to the ship as well!" Sea Man whips and nae nae's, with feeling.
"Hello Sea Man, it's a lovely ship," Bryan says. "Do you know anything about the recent attacks?"
"Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Big bad guys have been ramming their shit into us. Total whackos. They got some vendetta against us, or Greasy Dick, not sure why. We're just drug trafficking- ah! Just kidding! LOL" Sea Man laughs heartily, but stops abruptly. "Drugs aren't cool. Seriously." Sea Man flips his pirate cap backwards.
Suddenly, a ship.
"There's a ship over there," Bone says to Mel and Bryan, lacking urgency in his voice, "You guys should probably go below deck, if you want."
Mel searches the horizon and spots another ship barreling towards them. Sea Man and the crew whip out cutlasses and start manning the cannons. One of the cannonballs hits the left side of the opposing ship, eliciting cheers from Bone's crew of sailors. "They're literally dogwater," Bone says.
Unfortunately, the hit does nothing to stop the ship from sailing straight into them. A plank lowers from the other side, and a group of sailors board the ship, wielding swords and angry shouts.
Mel and Bryan hide behind some barrels. "This is just like Among Us. Because crewmates," Bryan says, and Mel ignores him, watching the exchange on the poop deck.
"Well well well," says Bone, as the captain of the enemy ship approaches the center of the poopy deck. "If it isn't Party John." Party John steps out of the shadows and takes off his neck scarf, revealing his signature neck tattoo, a grizzly bear wearing sunglasses and doing a kickflip on a skateboard. "That's a sick fucking tattoo," whispers Bryan behind the barrels. "What a mad lad." Mel nods.
"Sorry to crash your party," Party John says. His mateys pat him on the back for the clever party reference. His first mate hands him a bubblegum-flavored vape pen and he sucks it dry. "But we're gonna need to take your merchandise." With that, he whips out his sword, and his crewmates follow along.
Bone slowly nods his head, and saunters to the center of the poopy deck in front of PJ. "I should have known you were behind this. You've wronged me in the past, Party John..." Bone says, abandoning his monotone voice for a surprisingly dramatic delivery. "But you will not wrong me again, you sick bastard. Heh." Bone also takes out a sword and swings it around a lot. "Go on, try to strike me down! But be wary, for I'm ranked #72 in the world for Minecraft PVP! 1," Bone smirks, and strikes his sword against PJ's. The poop deck explodes into an onslaught of swords on swords, men on men, grunting and sweating as they passionately clash against each other.
Behind the barrels, Mel frantically whispers, "We should be helping them! We can't let them get the merchandise or Greasy Dick won't give us any information!"
"Wait, I think we can resolve this," Bryan says. Mel looks at him befuddled. "This seems like a friendship problem, not a merchandise problem. They've clearly had a falling out. We should help them talk it out." Bryan clarifies.
Mel sighs. "Bryan, I know you love friendship, but these guys are pirates AND gamers. They're calling each other dogwater and being toxic. We need to...to kill them, or something."
Bryan pauses. "We can't kill Party John. I heard that guy has a fake ID. He'd cut right through us. Hold on a second."
As the fighting continues, Bryan leaves the barrels and sneaks below deck. He returns a few minutes later, hauling a Nintendo Switch. Mel prepares to argue with Bryan when suddenly the fighting comes to a halt. All the gamer bro pirates are staring at the switch that Bryan brought onto the deck.
"Hey," PJ says to Bone, "You got Smash on that?" The enemy crew waits in anticipation for Bone's reply.
"Yeah, yeah we play it a lot." Bone replies.
"Cool...cool." PJ shifts awkwardly.
"Do you wanna play?" Bone asks.
"Yeah," PJ responds.
"Okay."
The two boys and their crewmates sit in front of the switch and start taking turns playing Smash against each other. Everyone forgets about their qualms.
"Gamers before pirates," Bryan says to Mel. Mel shakes his head in disbelief.
The rest of the sail across the sound goes swimmingly. Bone's crew unloads the merchandise from the harbor to a very happy Italian man. Party John and his crew decide to leave Bone's ship alone, after agreeing to play Smash together at least once a week. Finally, after a day's journey, Bone returns Mel and Bryan to the docks.
"Tell Mason he still owes me $20," Bone instructs Mel, and departs with his crew.
—-
Back at Tony’s Place, Mel and a Bryan report back to Greasy Dick on their recent success. Greasy Dick claps his hands (and cheeks) at the news. He takes out more weed to eat as he gives Mel and Bryan the information they requested.
“Great work boys, and I did some digging. I know a guy who will probably know the guy you’re lookin’ for. The guy yous wanna talk to lives in this alleyway on Broad Street. Tell em Greasy Dick sent ya.”
“Awesome, thanks so much Mr. Dick,” Mel says.
“Don’t mention it. Oh, and you should know he’s a real short bastard. Wears these fake Gucci fits a lot. Calls himself Cristian.”

Utterly Blindsided - Part 2
Summary:
After discovering the truth of Jacob's betrayal, Lily drowned out any emotion during missions, purposely working alone to avoid another confrontation. But will Jacob give up that easily on her?
[Back for a part 2! I have written all instalments to this imagine and am currently editing them to be posted accordingly! Any ideas for more works are encouraged if there is something in particular you’d like to read :) Enjoy x]
It had been weeks since Lily had last spoken to Jacob, and not once in that time had she found a moments peace from her own head. The thoughts ran rampant as she did her best to ignore them and focus on matters at hand. But despite her efforts, she continued to suffer.
Though she hadn't been the only one. Jacob had wished nothing more every night than to go back and fix his mistake as he lay lonely in the train. Most nights had his own tears fixed down his face as the spot beside him remained cold and empty.
He missed Lily; finding it hard to function properly without her by his side. Her usual wit to match his own, and eager tendency to welcome trouble daringly by his side, had vanished. No longer had she ventured out with the assassin, opting to continue the fight against oppression alone.
Yet the Templar Domain in London still stood strong, meaning it was only a matter of time before the two had to work together once more.
"Evie, please-" Lily's plea had fallen silent upon the older twin by a raised hand. Her sigh came sympathetically.
"This is the last thing I want to ask of you, Lily. But this is important." There had been a real possibility that Templars were transporting the Precursor artefact across the city. The object would be heavily guarded which meant Evie needed the extra pair of hands to secure it.
What her brother lacked in stealth, he made up for with brutality, Lily being just as vital with her own strength to accommodate what Jacob couldn't. It's what made the pair so dangerous when they were together.
Her heart dropped as she accepted her fate, knowing that intercepting Templar progress was far more important than any personal vendetta. "All right," Lily swallowed back the lump in her throat as Evie lay a gentle hand to her shoulder.
The two women locked eyes, Lily's filled with uncertainty while Evie offered reassurance. "I heard what happened, with Jacob..." The memory causing a wince. "And I know that what he did was unforgivable." A moment. "But I also know that my brother loves you deeply, and would do anything to fix his mistake."
Watching her brother suffer as much as he was had been hard, though she also condoled with Lily and her betrayal. But Evie had seen them together, how powerful they became as assassins, and how true they were to themselves.
It was a love she had only really read about in books, something so passionate and heartfelt. And it made Jacob happy, which in turn had her satisfied. "I know," Lily muttered, "I just..." Expressing her emotions wasn't easy, rather why she chose not to deal with them at all, even when they sat painfully heavy in her chest. "I love him Evie. But after-" She nearly choked on her next words, so instead chose to silence herself. And Evie knew, she could see exactly the thoughts in her head through the pain in her eyes.
"Perhaps, this doesn't have to end as tragically as you think." The two women could only share a look, Evie's a sad smile as Lily's eyes downcast to the floor beneath them. How would it end?
-
The night air had done nothing to faze the assassins as they jumped from rooftop to rooftop. The silence amongst them was deafening as they made way to the precise location of the ambush. Jacob kept behind the others, eyes turning persistently over to Lily, though she kept her gaze straight and her cowl close to cover her face. More than anything had he wanted the opportunity to fix their relationship right then, but more important matters were at hand.
"There," Evie pointed, kneeling down by the edge of the building as she cast her eyes down along the street. It had been deeper into the night where most kept out of the street to find shelter. The city had been asleep which rang chance to those with ill intentions, "the carriage should be here soon. Lily," the twin looked over to her friend before back to her brother that knelt silently to her opposite side. It hadn't been often that Jacob was so tame, which ignited worry for his sister; and that of Lily too, even if she refused to admit it, "Jacob."
Deep in thought, he snapped his head up to meet the concerned eyes of Evie. But just looked away back to the street below; he couldn't bare for anyone to see him like this, let alone his own sister. "You want me to go down there and kill Templars, correct?" His tone flat as his attention distant. The reaction couldn't help but have Lily glance over to her former lover. She had never seen him like this before, and she hated it. Her heart pulled her towards him but her ache kept her reclusive.
"Yes, just wait nearby out of sight." Evie stood. "If you can draw their attention away long enough, it will give me a chance to seize the artefact and escape from sight." The trio were all well informed of Evie's plan, and if done attentively, it will rupture the Templar's power over London. "Good luck." With a glance to each assassin beside her, Evie could only quietly sigh before utilizing the rope launcher off the building.
Lily and Jacob remained silent, fighting the itch to scratch a peak at one another. "Well," Lily muttered, speaking for the first time that night as she came to her stance, "let's go." No hesitation as she descended down the building, Jacob watching intently now that he knew he wouldn't get caught. He rid the lump in his throat as he too followed after her.
There were enough spots amongst the streets to lay low until the carriage arrived. The pair kept together, out of sight in a nearby alleyway as they waited for their target. Lily's fists balled and un-balled against the brick wall behind her while keeping her attention onto the open street. Jacob noticed her actions, aware of the physical behavior she displayed while under stress. He couldn't imagine this had been easy for her, as it had been agonizing for him; a shot to the chest would hurt less in the circumstance.
But for the first time in a while, an opportunity had presented itself. Alone with Lily, able to communicate with her briefly and at least hear her voice directed at him once more. Not long ago, he had confided in his sister, feeling lost and longing for his love; and she had offered him encouragement to take the opportunities with Lily as they came. Yet to be gentle with her, and honest. Jacob bit his lip as his mouth opened and shut multiple times in search of what to say. "Lily."
The mention of her name had her body stiffen, fists now balled tight as she leant back onto the wall and out of sight. Her head lowered to keep the hood from exposing her features as her chest began to pick up pace. She supposed it was inevitable for this moment to come; she had to speak to Jacob eventually though had only been stubborn about it.
"I..." The words failed to fall from his tongue as he looked down to the ground beneath them. Her breathe hitched, inching her head over to watch Jacob from the corner of her eye. "I'm sorry, Lily." It hadn't been the words but the emotions behind them that hindered her guard. Her knees could buckle but she hadn't given them the chance. "You deserve better than me." His eyes slowly reaching up over to his partner, now aware of how affected she had been by the mere mention. "But yet I stay, selfish in hope that you'll come back to me."
That is all she wanted, but his betrayal kept her resilient to affections. Time had weakened her without him, thinking of him and the comfort of him nonstop. Being held close and having another to fall asleep beside when the night was cold. She missed it, all of it.
"I'm completely in love with you, Lily." A shudder slipped by her lips as she allowed his words to affect her. "And I... I can't keep going on without you. I can't-"
The sounds of a nearby carriage had caught the unsuspecting assassins, Lily looking around the corner to lay eyes on the oncoming targets. There had been four carriages, two acting as guard in front and one at the back. The one in the middle had been deemed as their prize, though it looked like it would take quite a few Templars to plow through first.
"We'll clear out the first carriage. That's our ticket to getting the others to follow us." Lily analyzed before she thought, not realizing how fluently she had spoken to Jacob. It took her off balance for a moment but she stabilized herself. "Jacob," she muttered once again, turning over her shoulder to see the man already looking at her; the longing in his gaze made her heart clench though she fought it off. The artefact was the priority, "I... we'll speak later. But, I need to know... are you with me?"
He would always have her back, this she knew. But she needed the reassurance, it's all she'd been craving since the separation. And the starvation had her feel the need to ask again. Jacob couldn't believe she'd ask, but nodded anyway. He would die for this woman if he needed to. "To the death."
There was a moment between them, a flutter of Lily's eyes in reaction had her weak. Her arms wanting to reach out and wrap around Jacob then and there. But she knew better. So she nodded, quite without words as she turned back to the target ahead.
It was now or never.
