Me: nah. But the sequel might.
#zelda wank#hyrule warriors is actually a pretty good gameplay style for the absolute chaos of thos battles#it’d actually be pretty difficult to screw it up. especially since they’re taking care to use Botw’s actual graphics style#if anything it’ll make botw hurt even MORE in the best ways possible ‘cause we’ll have the chance to know these guys like Zelda did#(Link’s memory loss and trying to piece things together with regained fragments and journals and word of mouth is its own type of tragedy)#but. the sequel. THIS is where they can really screw it up#we’ve already seen hyrule completely desimated. we don’t need that again#botw ended on a bittersweet hopeful note of rebuilding and healing. CHASE. THAT.#if you wanna have a blatantly dark game? then finally chase after hyrule’s fascism and Do Better#vs repeatedly using genocide as a shockfactor! (or WORSE: it’s okay because Hyrule’s the ‘Good’ Guys!)
