part 2 babey

so day 3

after the disaster that was drinking japanese milk with my cereal yesterday i stuck to eating bread we bought from the 7/11 near our airbnb,,,, thank god for japanese toilets 

our first destination was akihabara were i succumbed to 1 gacha machine and got a piplup keychain, silently ignored my friend’s request to buy her a body pillow (order online by yourself sis i aint sacrificing my dignity) and stood clear of the go karts that were racing around

then we visited the gundam caf but we didnt go in hsakjh 

then we went to shinjuku and went mostly window shopping for stuff (i saw a christian church there beside the residential area which was a nice surprise, got a faceful of a bible verse plaque first sdkhsk) then harajuku where we visited Takeshita Dori lord there were so many tourists and mostly waited for my mom’s friends so we could go and explore some more, we bought a lot of cheap souvenirs and a cute postcard of shibuya and hachiko 

i was like trying to plug in going to tokyomtg bc heck i want to visit 1 mtg shop that wasnt comic odyssey in bgc goddamn but my req was granted a day later sjdh

anyway we decided to meet @ the meiji shrine (THERE ARE SO MANY CROWS) but that didnt really work out so we just went to shibuya station to rendevous and i got to see hachiko’s shrine in the flesh what a good boi

so we went straight to asakusa i think,, idk my memory aint the best 

since my memory aint the best lemme just list off the places we visited

so kaminarimon (the temple is huge.), then skytree (the elevator made my ears pop and lord am i afraid of heights), then roppongi bc my mom thought japan midtown was like a district. it was a hotel. so we ended up eating dinner at another cheap restaurant ajdhkj 

then we were dead tired and went to bed after our little escapade ajhk

wait i think i got stuff from day 3 and 4 mixed up bc we and my mom’s friends met up again and we went to shibuya or shinjuku again to visit the gap flagship store (guess who bout that reylo long sleeve shirt ahahahah) and it was around that time when we were visiting gap that we met my dad’s old classmate who settled down in japan and has been there for 20 years.... yea i think i mixed things up kjsdhksjd the point is i had a blast in tokyo

we went to narita at day 4 and to my Surprise there was a pokemon store there,,, like an actual mini pokemon center. why did nobody tell me there was a center there, with the gen 5 pins!! i wasted 300 yen on a gen 6 pin that i didnt even want but like i had no choice dkjhskjdh lord 

then we arrived at manila at 5 and it was incredibly hot and naia was naia 

you dont know how much i missed the english language

then i ate some sili ice cream and it actually helped my cough ngl 

i got the “i wish i was still in tokyo” vibes after getting stuck in traffic on the way home dhkjhk
