Greek myths teach us more about the natural order of humans and the seven deadly sins than the bible does.
#think about all the ancient idiots whose names have been placed weaved into the english language 💀#how many names from the bible have been referenced another way#if you can find at least one synonym for an immoral or moral act it proves it to be a natural order of us#also i do hope i have not offended anybody this was just an observation im not trying to hate on the bible it is plentiful ive read it#i just think that greek myths tend to teach us more because of their influence and relativity to almost everything#whereas there is less to relate to in the bible and less reliability bc it has been adapted so many times#we still have the iliad and odyssey from homer his authentic fineprint from around 850 BC#which have proven much accuracy and authenticity to myths which otherwise could have been adapted through oral tellings#the odyssey#the iliad#the bible#homeric epics#my thoughts#unpopular opinion#wish not to offend
