As for Napoleon somehow I thought of him being like Thomas Müller who is always so passionate about the game; like, imagine him screaming at everyone and boost their morale (him in the Euro 2020 match against England was too precious ;-; still hate the “England fans” but England was playing well and Löw is 💩), also both are popular in the group OwO

of course we don’t consider the stuff in Oktoberfest like serving beer while wearing a dirndl (that was a classic for all the FC Bayern fans out there👌🏻)

Marshalate Football AU (because yes)

After my post about the marshalate lineup, @elisabeth515 and I have been talking about how we feel about our dear Marshals confronted with the footballer we all know so, since noone of us is already out of (n)Euro 2020, let’s start this AU!! The first think we noticed is Federico Chiesa. Yes.

This man reminds us about Marshal Lannes. yes. They look a bit alike but, most important, they FEEL alike… Chiesa when scores is how I imagine Lannes when scores. It started like this but it’s not all here. 

We’ve Marshal Massena. And I see him a bit like Lorenzo insigne. They don’t look alike at all but they fell similar to me 

I see them ‘similar’ because Insigne can be a real pain in the ass in penalty Area (I support Juventus so… Yes, I felt him a lot of times) and when he wants to he’s a very witty player. Massena could be the same, he was witty and a great general also, from ‘tir’ a gir’’ to ‘ti raggiro’ (i deceive you, in italian) it’s not a long trip. I’ve thought as Soult similar to Cristiano Ronaldo and Chiellini similar to Saint-Cyr. The first because of the great skills that Soult had as an infantry General and because of what we know of the training he made his men have in Boulogne it sounds similar to Ronaldo for me, the second because Chiello is one of the best central defenders of the world (even at 37) and Gouvignon Saint-Cyr was the best defensive General of his times.

As an Italian, I found Spinazzola (who’s fantastic but really, he’s ALWAYS broken damn) REALLY VERY similar to our indestructible man, Marshal Oudinot… spiritually similar at least. 

We saw something that unites Marshal Ney and Neuer and… yes, set aside the ‘aggressiveness’ while playing, it’s the common root of their surname, @elisabeth515‘s fault ahahah, and we saw Murat technically akin to Giroud.

Talking about Marshal Berthier, we saw him similar to a player and a coach: Kanté, because of his reliability on the field  and Roberto Mancini for both the age and the ability to keep together a so chaotic group of people (historically, all the marshals+Naps+Generals, il Mancio, the italian team).

Well, feel free to add whatever you want because this AU needs to grow, we need to place a lot of marshals and footballers ahahha.
