❝ MOVE, IT'S A FALSE GOD ❞
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A rising drug dealer returns to Zaun, igniting a "dangerous" power struggle. Tension turns into passion, old routes blur, who will control the game?
⤹ warnings: power dynamics, older man/younger woman, age gap, dom/sub dynamics, angst, begging, pwp, sexual tension, afab!reader praising, pet names, fingering.
⤹ songs used: move - taemin, false god - taylor swift, black swan - bts, danger - txt, automatic - red velvet.
The air in Silco’s private office was thick with smoke, curling around the dim amber light that spilled from a single lamp. You leaned against the chair, the same old chair you used to sit to just watch the man infront of you start creating what would be the ruin of Zean, his blue eye lifting from the long forgotten documents he was supposedly reading before your entrance— arms crossed, your confidence unwavering despite the sharp gaze he leveled at you— or at least, that’s what you try to pretend.
“It’s been a while,” you said pretending nonchalantly, tilting your head to meet his eyes. “I almost thought you’d forgotten about me, Silco. But here we are.”
He didn’t answer immediately, instead taking a slow drag from his cigar, letting the silence stretch. It was the same with him as always—every move, every glance, carefully calculated to put others on edge. Once, it had worked on you.
Not anymore.
“I don’t forget,” Silco said finally, his voice low and deliberate. “Especially not those who think they can play in my waters without permission.”
You chuckled, a sound that carried a hint of mockery. “Is that what this is about? Permission? I didn’t think you’d care, considering how… insignificant I used to be.”
His eye twitched, just barely, and you knew you’d struck a nerve. It was subtle, but years of knowing him had taught you how to read those tiny cracks in his armor.
“You were a child then,” he said, his tone clipped. “A reckless, naïve—”
“And now?” you interrupted, stepping closer, your confidence cutting through the haze of smoke. “Still think I’m a child, Silco? Because from where I’m standing, I seem to be doing just fine without your approval. Even starting to strike your own success.”
For a moment, he didn’t respond. His good eye studied you, cold and unblinking, but there was something else there too—something that betrayed his calm exterior.
“You’ve built quite the reputation,” he said at last, his voice quieter now, more thoughtful. “Impressive, even. But reputations don’t protect you when you’re making enemies on all sides. Especially not mine.”
You smiled, slow and sharp. “Funny. I was going to say the same thing to you.”
He laughed, his breathless old laugh bringing the same warm (and rare) feeling to your chest. He looked at you in a way you couldn’t describe, he was always the one you looked up for, not Vander, not Vi, him. Even when everything went to shit.
“You think i’m feeling threatened by your presence here when you’re the one who always kept following around when you were just a clueless teenager trying to survive here?”
He smirked to himself, if you didn’t know him all this years you wouldn’t be able to see it, he took another long drag of his cigarette, making sure to look at you with a tentative face, like he’s testing the waters.
Silco’s smirk lingered as his gaze roamed over you, deliberate and slow. It wasn’t the predatory kind that most in the Undercity wielded like a weapon—no, this was something subtler, more dangerous. He let the silence between you stretch again, his presence pulling the air tight, as if daring you to speak first.
You didn’t.
He leaned back in his chair, the sharp edge of his posture softening just enough to make him seem almost at ease. The movement was calculated, you knew—it always was with him—but the faint trail of smoke curling lazily from his cigar only added to the intimacy of the space.
“You’ve certainly grown,” he said, his tone low and silken, as though the words were more for himself than for you.
It wasn’t a compliment. At least, not entirely. But the way his eye flicked down to where your fingers rested on the edge of his desk, nails tapping a faint rhythm, made you feel as though he was cataloging every inch of you.
“Out of your shadow, I’d say,” you replied smoothly, letting your lips curve into a faint smirk of your own. “Which I imagine doesn’t sit well with you, does it?”
He exhaled another cloud of smoke, the corner of his mouth twitching upward. “Is that what you think this is? Some petty tantrum over losing control?”
“Isn’t it?” you countered, stepping closer. The glow of the lamp cast a golden hue across your skin as you closed the space between you, slow and deliberate.
You saw his eye darken slightly, his gaze following your movement with the precision of a predator assessing its prey. But he didn’t move away. If anything, the tension between you only seemed to tighten as you came to a stop just shy of touching him.
“Careful,” he murmured, voice dropping to a near whisper. “You’re playing a game you’re not prepared to lose.”
You tilted your head, meeting his gaze without flinching. “Maybe I intend to lose. Maybe I know exactly what I’m doing.”
The sound he made—a low, amused hum—sent a shiver down your spine. He was close enough now that you could smell the faint metallic edge of smoke and shimmer clinging to his suit.
“Do you, though?” he asked, his voice cutting through the tension like a blade. He leaned forward, elbows resting on his desk, the movement drawing you in until there was barely a breath of space between you.
Your pulse quickened, but you refused to look away. His good eye searched yours, his smirk softening into something more dangerous. Not threatening, but something far worse: intrigued.
“You’ve always had fire,” he said softly, the words hanging in the air between you. “But ambition without restraint… That’s a dangerous thing in this world.”
“And yet, here I am,” you shot back, your voice steady, though your chest tightened at the weight of his words.
His gaze dipped briefly—to your lips, before sliding back up to meet your eyes. It was fleeting, but unmistakable.
“You’re bold,” he admitted, his voice dropping further, the gravel in it brushing against your nerves. “But boldness doesn’t mean you can stand the heat when you step into the fire.”
“Maybe,” you said, leaning forward until you were close enough to feel the faint warmth of his breath on your skin, “I just enjoy the burn.”
For the briefest moment, you saw something flicker in his gaze—something he quickly buried behind a sharp inhale and another pull from his cigar. But the tension lingered, coiling tight between you like a rope about to snap.
His eye sharpened as your words hung in the air. That flicker of intrigue you’d seen moments ago twisted into something darker, something colder—and yet impossibly more magnetic.
“You think you’ve got it all figured out,” he said, his voice soft but cutting. “That your rise makes you untouchable. But even kings can fall.”
Your lips parted in a quiet scoff. “Kings fall when they stop watching the board. And as far as I can see, you’re the one sitting comfortably on your throne while the ground beneath you starts to crack.”
His laugh was low, more exhalation than sound, as he leaned back in his chair. “A clever metaphor,” he murmured, his tone almost amused, silently nodding to your point. Who would’ve known you would turn this way, follow his path—and even his words? The realization sparked a strange feeling deep in his stomach, a warm, fuzzy sensation creeping up his neck.
“But let me remind you,” he continued, his voice still smooth, “who built that board you’re so eager to play on.”
“And let me remind you,” you shot back, stepping even closer, “that no one stays untouchable forever—not even you.”
For a moment, there was nothing but the hum of tension between you, the air too thick with smoke and unsaid words. And then he moved.
It wasn’t a grand gesture, not with Silco. He didn’t need one. Instead, he stood, the slow scrape of his chair against the floor sending a chill down your spine. By the time he was upright, he had erased the distance you’d carefully maintained, stepping into your space with a precision that left no room for retreat.
“Careful,” he warned, his voice barely above a whisper. The closeness made it feel like a growl. “You might end up liking the view from your knees.”
You felt your breath hitch before you could stop it. The words struck something deep and primal, but you refused to give him the satisfaction of faltering—even though those words stirred something inside you, a desire, a want… a need.
“And you might find,” you said, voice steady despite the way your heart pounded, “that even from my knees, I can be the one in control.”
Something in his expression shifted—just barely, but you caught it. That sharp, calculating mask cracked for a fraction of a second, and you saw the flicker of frustration—or was it fascination?—beneath it.
He reached for the desk behind you, his hand brushing the edge as he leaned in, caging you against it without ever truly touching you. The faint smell of smoke and ash filled your senses, grounding you even as the tension spiraled. All you could smell was his expensive perfume mixed with the burn of his daily cigarettes—his scent, only his.
Maybe your group was waiting for you, wondering what the hell you were doing with Silco, maybe even planning what to do if he killed you. But the situation you were in now was far better than anything else you’d ever experienced. This was the dirty, dangerous dream of a naïve teenager—the dream you’d always had since the first time you met him. You couldn’t risk losing it now.
“You don’t understand what you’re toying with,” he said, his voice lower now, almost a rasp.
“Don’t I?” you challenged, tilting your chin up to meet his gaze. “You’re the one who called me here, Silco. So tell me—what exactly are you afraid of?”
The silence that followed was deafening. His eye bore into yours, searching, testing, as though trying to unravel the web you’d spun between the two of you.
And then he smiled. Not the sharp, mocking grin you’d expected, but something slower, quieter—dangerous in its restraint.
“Fear isn’t the word I’d use,” he said, his voice like silk. “But perhaps… curiosity.”
Silco's gaze never wavered from yours as he took a slow, deliberate step forward. There was no more room between you—no space for retreat, no escape from the storm building in the air around you. His scent, his presence, overwhelmed you, filling your lungs and sinking into your skin.
His hand reached up, but this time it wasn't to push you away— it was to lift your chin, gently, but with undeniable force. His touch was cold, his fingers rough against the delicate curve of your jaw, and yet the heat radiating off him burned you alive. You could barely breathe beneath the intensity of his stare.
“I'm curious,” he murmured, voice low and dark, like the very shadows that filled the room. His thumb brushed along your lower lip, soft yet commanding, testing, teasing.
“Do you know what you're asking for?”
Your heart was pounding, but you refused to show weakness. You forced your gaze to stay locked on his, your breath shallow as you leaned into his touch, letting the burn of his fingers draw you closer. You could feel the weight of his presence, the power he exuded, the way it seeped into your very bones.
“I think,” you breathed, voice trembling just slightly, “I'm asking you to show me.”
The words had barely left your lips when his face closed the distance between you, his breath mingling with yours in a shared, heated exhale. His lips hovered above yours, close enough to taste, but he didn't kiss you —no. Instead, he let the anticipation hang, let it build, until you were certain you couldn't take it anymore. Every inch of your skin felt like it was on fire, and all you could think about was the want-the desperate, aching need that had been simmering between you for so long.
“Show you?” he repeated, his voice thick, almost a growl. “You're bold to ask for that.”
Without warning, he pulled you closer, his hand gripping the back of your neck with a quiet authority that made your pulse spike.
His lips finally brushed against yours, a fleeting kiss, as light and delicate as the whisper of a shadow. But that brief touch was enough to send a jolt of heat through your entire body, making your knees threaten to buckle.
Before you could recover, he deepened the kiss-fierce, hungry, as if he'd been waiting for this moment as much as you. His other hand slid to your waist, pulling you flush against him. The heat between you was suffocating, your bodies tangled as the kiss grew more desperate, more urgent. You could feel his heart pounding in sync with yours, the strength in his body pressed against yours, both of you craving something neither could name.
The kiss was a collision of fire and ice, a dangerous dance of control and surrender.
His lips were demanding, possessive, but you matched him, not allowing him to dominate entirely. Every time he pulled back, you followed, chasing him like a moth to a flame.
He pulled away suddenly, leaving you breathless, eyes dark with a mixture of lust and something more complicated-something deeper.
“I've always liked fire,” he rasped, voice rougher now, as though the kiss had burned him just as much as it had you. “But fire... it burns. And you're playing with it.”
You weren't sure if it was the heat of the moment, the way his hands had claimed you, or the raw hunger in his voice-but something inside you snapped.
“I'd say l'm more like an ice burn,” you murmured, your voice dripping with defiance.
Before he could respond, you surged forward, taking control, your lips crashing against his in a kiss that was anything but delicate.
The hunger between you was instantaneous, primal, as your hands gripped him with a new sense of authority. Silco had always been the one in charge, but now the roles had reversed, and you were the one pulling him closer, pushing him back against the desk with an intensity that left him breathless.
His shock didn't last long. Silco's hands moved, as though to regain control, but you were quicker. You pulled him firmly against you, forcing him to the edge of the desk, caging him there with your body. Your kiss was hungry, urgent, as though you were trying to consume him, and it felt like you were doing just that-biting, tugging, exploring him in ways that left no room for hesitation.
Silco's breath hitched, but this time it wasn't from power-it was from you. You were the one dominating the kiss now, your hands roaming across his chest, your body pressing him down with a quiet strength. He groaned against your lips, caught off guard by your sudden shift, and yet there was no resistance in him now. Only the heat of his body, the fire in his gaze.
His hands found your hips, but you didn't let him move you. You weren't done. Not yet.
“You think you control everything,” you said between kisses, your voice low and teasing.
“But even you can't resist me now.”
His hands tightened on your waist, but he didn't pull you away. Instead, he seemed to surrender to it, to you. His kiss deepened, now one of want-raw and desperate, matching your own intensity as you continued to trap him against the desk.
“Then show me,” he growled against your lips, hands gripping your back, pulling you closer until your bodies were flush against each other. “Prove it.” Silco's growl sent a shiver down your spine, his hands tightening on your waist with just enough pressure to remind you exactly who was in charge here. You may have thought you could control the moment, but Silco wasn't one to be caged-or tamed.
The smirk tugging at your lips faltered as his hands moved, sliding up your back and pulling you flush against him. His strength was effortless, his grip commanding, and the air between you seemed to crackle as he tilted his head, his lips grazing yours in a way that sent a jolt of heat through your entire body.
“Mercy?” he murmured, his voice dangerously soft, though his grip on you was anything but. “You seem to be under the impression that I allow mercy.”
The air between you crackled with tension, charged with an electricity that prickled your skin as Silco's hands tightened on your waist. You could feel the heat radiating off him, the power in his grip, and it only fueled the fire burning within you.
"I don't want mercy," you breathed, your voice low and husky, your lips hovering just a hair's breadth from his.
His good eye darkened at your words, a low growl rumbling in his chest that you could feel more than hear. In a swift movement, he grasped your thighs and lifted you onto the desk, his body moving between your legs as he pinned you there with his weight.
The sudden shift left you breathless, your heart pounding wildly as you looked up at him, his face illuminated by the dim amber light of the lamp. His eye searched yours, intense and focused, as if trying to unravel the secrets hidden beneath your skin.
"Careful what you wish for," he murmured, his voice a low, dangerous purr. His hand slid up your thigh, fingers digging into the soft flesh as he leaned in closer, his lips ghosting along your jawline. “Who would’ve thought you would turn into this nasty dearly thing huh?”
You shivered at his touch, at the way his breath felt against your skin, hot and heavy with want. Your hands gripped his shoulders, nails digging into the fabric of his shirt as you arched into him, desperate for more.
"I'm not afraid of you," you whispered, your lips brushing against his ear. "Are you?"
His response was a sharp nip to your earlobe, followed by a low chuckle that sent a shiver down your spine.
"Oh, I'm not afraid," he murmured, his hand sliding higher, fingers brushing against the hem of your skirt. "But you should be."
You gasped as his fingers pushed under the fabric, trailing fire across your skin as they moved higher and higher. Your head fell back, eyes fluttering closed as you lost yourself in the sensation, in the way his touch ignited every nerve ending in your body.
"Enlighten me, Eye of Zaun.”
Silco's response was a low growl, a sound of pure hunger as he captured your lips in a searing kiss. His tongue delved into your mouth, claiming you, possessing you, as his hands roamed your body with a desperate need.
You moaned into the kiss, your own hands tangling in his hair as you pulled him closer, deeper. The heat between you was suffocating, all-consuming, and you felt like you were drowning in the depths of your own desire.
His hands slipped under your shirt, fingers splaying across your bare skin as he broke the kiss to trail his lips down your neck. You arched into him, head thrown back in ecstasy as he left a path of fire across your throat, teeth grazing your pulse point.
"You want me?" he growled against your skin, one hand sliding up to cup your breast through your bra. "You want to see what I can do to you?"
You nodded frantically, too lost in the sensations to form words. Your body was on fire, every touch of his hands sending shockwaves of pleasure through you.
With a low chuckle, Silco's hand deftly unclasped your bra, tossing it aside before his fingers closed around your sensitive peak. You cried out, hips bucking involuntarily as he pinched and rolled the hardening bud between his fingers.
"That's it," he purred, his voice dark with lust. "Let me hear you."
His other hand slipped through your bottoms into your panties, fingers gliding through your slick folds. You were already wet, already aching for him, and he groaned at the feel of you.
“I could practically kill you right now. Cage you— Torture you.” He chuckled as he looked at you, your mind already too lost to answer him. "So ready for me," he murmured, circling your clit with a feather-light touch that had you writhing beneath him. "So desperate."
You couldn't deny it. You were desperate, needy, aching for his touch like nothing you'd ever felt before. This was embarrassing. You always had a crush for the man, but you never stopped this low. Your hands scrabbled at his back, nails leaving crescent marks on his skin as you tried to pull him closer.
"Please," you whimpered, too far gone to care how needy you sounded. "Please, Silco."
“Who’s in control now, dear?”
“F-fuck you Silco.”
“I think it’s the other way around.”  He chuckled darkly, the sound sending shivers down your spine.
His fingers slid through your slick folds, teasing, taunting, stoking the fire that burned within you. You were already so wet, so ready for him, and the knowledge only seemed to spur him on.
"Look at you," he murmured, his voice low and thick with desire. "So desperate for me, so needy."
He circled your clit with a feather-light touch, sending shockwaves of pleasure through your body. You cried out, hips bucking involuntarily as he kept up the maddeningly slow pace.
"Please," you whimpered, too far gone to care how desperate you sounded. "Silco, please..."
He chuckled darkly, the sound sending shivers down your spine. His fingers continued their torturous dance, dipping inside you, stroking along your inner walls before retreating to circle your clit once more.
"What do you want, dear?" he asked, his voice a low growl. "Tell me what you need."
Your head thrashed on the desk, fingers tangling in his hair as you tried to pull him closer. You were so close, teetering on the edge of release, and yet he kept you there, balanced on a knife's edge.
"I want you," you gasped, your voice breaking on a moan as his fingers curled inside you. "I want your cock, Silco. Please, give it to me."
He groaned at your words, his eye darkening with lust. With a swift movement, he withdrew his fingers from your dripping core, leaving you empty and aching.
"Beg for it," he commanded, his voice rough with desire. "Beg me to fuck you."
You didn't hesitate, too lost in the throes of your own need to feel anything but the desperate hunger that consumed you.
"Please," you sobbed, your hips rolling shamelessly against him. "Please, Silco, I need your cock. I need you inside me, filling me, fucking me. Please, I'll do anything, just give it to me, give me your cock, please..."
You begged and pleaded, desperate for the touch of his cock, and Silco finally relented. With a low growl, he tugged your panties down your thighs, exposing your dripping core to the cool air of the room. You shivered at the sensation, at the way his eye raked over your body, taking in every inch of your exposed skin.
"So beautiful," he murmured, his voice low and thick with desire. "So perfect."
There was a calculated intensity in his gaze, a sense of purpose that sent a thrill of excitement through you. Silco was a man who knew what he wanted and went after it with unwavering focus.
He pushed your legs apart, settling between your thighs as he freed his cock from the confines of his pants. It sprang forth, hard and thick and already dripping with precum. You licked your lips at the sight, your core clenching with anticipation.
But Silco didn't rush, didn't give in to the desperate hunger that burned between you. Instead, he took his time, his fingers tracing along your slick folds with a maddeningly slow pace. You squirmed beneath his touch, your hips rolling shamelessly as you sought more of him.
"Patience," he murmured, his voice a low growl. "I'll give you what you need, but first, I want to savor every inch of you."
His words sent a shiver down your spine, a mix of fear and excitement that left you trembling. Silco was a man who took control, who demanded submission, and the thought of being at his mercy only fueled the fire that burned within you.
With a single, measured thrust, he buried himself inside you, stretching you wide around his thick length. You cried out at the sudden intrusion, your back arching off the desk as he filled you completely.
But even as he claimed you, there was a detachment in his movements, a sense that he was simply taking what he needed without any real emotional investment. He set a steady pace, his hips rocking against yours with a calculated precision that left you breathless.
Each thrust was designed to push you closer to the edge, to shatter the fragile control you clung to. His fingers dug into your hips, holding you in place as he used you for his own pleasure. There was no tenderness in his touch, no whispered words of affection or praise. Instead, there was a cold, clinical efficiency to his movements, as if he was simply fulfilling a basic need.
You could feel the coil of pleasure winding tighter and tighter in your core, your body responding to his touch despite the lack of emotional connection. Your nails scrabbled at his back, leaving crescent marks on his skin as you tried to pull him closer, to force some kind of reaction from him.
But Silco remained impassive, his eye never leaving yours as he continued to pound into you with a relentless rhythm. His breath came in short, sharp bursts, his jaw clenched tight with the effort of holding back his own release.
You could tell he was close, his thrusts becoming more erratic, more desperate. But still, he didn't give in to the pleasure, didn't let himself fall into the abyss of ecstasy that threatened to consume you both.
With a final, brutal thrust, he buried himself deep inside you, his cock pulsing as he found his release. You could feel the hot spurt of his cum filling you, marking you as his own, and a part of you thrilled at the thought of being claimed by him.
As he pulled away, his softening cock slipping from your well-used core, you felt a sudden chill, a sense of abandonment that left you aching for something more. But you knew better than to ask for it, to beg for the affection and tenderness you craved
For a moment, his eye raked over your naked form, taking in the marks he'd left on your skin, the way your body trembled in the aftermath of your shared pleasure.
But then, as quickly as the moment had come, it passed. Silco straightened, his expression closing off and hiding the small bit of tenderness you could see once in him, becoming once again the cold, calculating man you knew him to be.
He passed you some tissues, "Clean yourself up," he ordered, his voice clipped and businesslike. "And don’t forget to tell your group to stay off what it’s not theirs"
With that, he turned and strode towards the door, leaving you lying there on the desk, exposed and vulnerable. You watched him go, a confusing mix of emotions swirling within you. There was the lingering heat of your shared passion, the ache of your body as it remembered his touch. But beneath it all was a growing sense of emptiness, a longing for something more than the cold, clinical coupling you'd just experienced.
You knew Silco was not a man given to tenderness or affection. He was a survivor, a fighter, a man who took what he wanted and moved on without a second thought. And yet, even knowing this, even understanding the futility of your desires, you couldn't help but wish for more.
With a sigh, you pushed yourself up from the desk, wincing slightly as your sore muscles protested the movement. You grabbed your discarded clothes, pulling them on with shaking hands. As you smoothed your clothes, you couldn't help but wonder what would happen next. You were sure this was not the only time you would be here begging for him after all this.
Only time would tell. But one thing was certain - you were in deep, and there was no turning back now. Silco had claimed you, marked you as his own, and whether he admitted it or not, you knew that you would always be his, no matter how much he tried to deny it.

Yandere! Game Show Host Hcs
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Warnings: Obsessive Behavior, Yandere Thoughts, Bad Writing, Stalking, Possessive Behavior, Reader is Referred as ‘You’
A/N: I saw this request and was like this is such a cool request but what if we made him an evil game show host. Like one that would put contestants in deadly scenarios.
Tumblr media
🌟 Yandere! Game Show Host who kidnaps all of the contestants and forces them to play this twisted game that he created for money. Don’t worry though, he rigged the entire game to be in your favor. It was discreet enough for the viewers not to really care but apparent enough for you to notice the favoritism. Did you care? Hell no!! As long as you were getting paid you and survived this whole ordeal could give a rats ass about what happened next. Even when you do manage to get certain questions wrong, he will just brush it off and pretend that it was just a warm up question. The contestants are definitely seething whenever they see this happening.
🌟 Yandere! Game Show Host is a psychopath by nature. In each round, he presents the contestants with morally ambiguous dilemmas, enticing them with promises of grand rewards while dangling the threat of dire consequences for failure. Whether it's forcing them to choose between betraying a fellow contestant or facing a treacherous obstacle, he revels in their anguish, relishing the psychological torment he inflicts.
🌟 Yandere! Game Show Host is doing everything in his power to make sure that you win the game. He can’t have his poor baby feeling upset if they fail to win the grand prize. He would absolutely give out the most insane questions that practically no one knows the answer to. The punishment for getting a few questions wrong is mutilation of certain body parts and if you get too many questions wrong then you’ll end up being sent to your death. While everyone is basically being tortured in their punishments, he’d never allow that to happen to you. At most he’d probably just flick your forehead and call it a day. I imagine that most of the people watching the show are people who paid for the contestants to be kidnapped and be brought there against their wishes. Everyone who is put onto his show is a horrible person, including yourself, and have done something to be warranted to be there.
🌟 Yandere! Game Show Host bends all the rules of the game for you, providing subtle hints or covert assistance to ensure your safety. Although he has a strong desire to see others in pain and suffering, his love for you is stronger. At first justifies these actions as preserving the "entertainment value" of the show, but deep down, he's driven by an inexplicable desire to protect you.
🌟 Yandere! Game Show Host would baby you during your time there. He’d make a fuss whenever you tried to do anything remotely dangerous or touch some blood. I could totally see him using a baby voice to try to convince you to stop what you're doing. He has no shame, and everyone is looking at him with utter disbelief/confusion on their faces.
Yandere! Game Show Host: “Oh No! Please don’t go over there! You might slip from all the blood on the ground! Come here let me carry you across.”
Viewers: “…”
The contestant with their leg cut off: “…”
🌟 Yandere! Game Show Host thrives on the power he wields over his contestants, reveling in their suffering as they navigate his challenges. As the game progresses, his demeanor grows more twisted, enjoying the contestants' internal conflicts and emotional turmoil. He taunts them with mocking laughter, reveling in their discomfort and manipulating their decisions to heighten the drama. God forbid that you manage to develop a crush on someone while you are there. He’d absolutely lose it and do everything in his power to crush them. You best believe that he’s going to keep them alive for as long as possible and give them the worst punishments known to man.
🌟 Yandere! Game Show Host has cameras everywhere and when it's time for the contestants to rest for the night he’s going to be observing you. He’s a loser who doesn’t really know how to act around you without becoming a mess. In his spare time, he likes to just watch you through the cameras and imagine himself right next to you. He’s absolutely delulu about your feelings towards him and believes that you feel the same way. Even when you do manage to win this fucked up game, he’s not letting you go. There’s no way that he’s letting you leave after you managed to steal his heart. After this is all over, he’s taking you to his house and locking you there.
🌟 Yandere! Game Show Host holds pride in knowing how many people are at the mercy of his hand. Has a minor God complex and has this skewed mindset about how everyone else is beneath him besides you. Believes that you were made just for him and that you're his one true love. Would rather die than give you up or allow anyone to “take you away from him”. He’s like an annoying roach and almost impossible to get rid of. He’s making sure to stay with you for as long as possible.
Yandere! Game Show Host strides onto the stage with a wicked gaze, his piercing gaze fixed on the contestants. His voice, a chilling blend of charm and malice, booms through the speakers as he welcomes the participants with a mocking flourish. Thom who were strapped onto a table with heavy objects over their heads.
Yandere! Game Show Host: “Alright contestant number one, what is the mass of the Sun divided by Planck's constant in nanometers.
Contestant One: “HOW THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT!?!?!”
Yandere! Game Show Host: “Unfortunately, that's not the correct answer. You’ll now be facing the consequences.” In a matter of seconds, the heavy object comes flying down with alarming speed. Upon impact, it mercilessly crushes against their skull, unleashing an overwhelming and unimaginable force that distorts bone and flesh. Yandere! Game Show Host then makes his way towards you and begins to speak.

Tumblr media
The debt was passed to you when eventually one of your only remaining family members were missing.
It was always because that family member always had to go to loan sharks, to get money, and to use for what? The common answer: Gambling.
The debt that was passed to you was... 320 million won.
Your dad, when he was alive.. you were inspired by him, after all, he was in the ROK Airforce before.
You wanted to be like him, but he didnt want that for you, you were his precious jewel.
"Pa! I wanna be like you when i grow up! All strong!" Younger you said as you flexed your tiny arms, flashing a big grin. Your father chuckles as he puts a hand in your head and starts patting you, messing up your dolled up hair.
"Now now kiddo, Being one of us is really difficult, i dont want my sweetie to be hurt." He says, kneeling down to face you as you pouted.
"Nuh uh! Im still going to become an air enforcer like you!" You said as you crossed your arms.
"Im warning you kiddo." He stops kneeling down.
Well, that dream never came true.
Sitting in one of the benches, it was dark. Now why would a woman stand in the dark all by herself? Isnt that dangerous?
Not at all for you- okay that was cringe.
You fought for yourself always, learning to survive and such.
"Need to go home now.." you sigh, standing up from the bench and fixing your jacket, putting your hands in the pocket, whew it sure is chilly.
"Now now... whats a pretty girl like you doing all alone in the dark?" A creep asks, you could tell it wants something for you, so you kept walking, fastening your steps even more.
"He-Hey! I was talking to you! Come back here!" The creep yelled out.
"Get the fuck away from me." You said, the man finally quiet down and just stood there, watching you walk, and dissapear in the distance.
Finally, arrived to your home... or small apartment, you searched for the keys in one of the pockets you put your hands on, now holding onto the small key, you took it out of your pockets and opened the door.
DAY 2.
You went into the subway for absoulutely no reason at all, going down the stairs on the subway station's tunnel entrance, now sitting in one of the chairs to relax, you saw a... man in a suit, smiling weirdly with a briefcase approaching you, Guess he was a scammer?
The man smiles at you and sits beside you at the bench.
"Hello maam, may i talk to you?" He says, looking at you strangely.
You ignore him and just look at the ground of the subway station.
"Would you like to play a game with me?" He says, looking at you, eugh that stare kinda creeps you out(ik some of yall be simping)
"Eh... who even are you to begin with? Some kind of buisness man exactly?" You say, looking at the man.
You find him, his suitcase opened, finding a red and blue folded paper, along with... won.
He holds out both of the folded paper, and asks. "So, which color do you want to play as?" He says.
"...Blue." You say.
A FEW ROUNDS LATER.
He had explained the round, basically, the two of his slaps were decreasing of the 100k won, but instead, we pay with our... body? That sounds like prostitution but its done anyways.
He looks at you as you stood silent, looking at the man.
"Here's your won." The man says, the man's slap still aching.
"You can make money after playing game's like this do you know that miss?" He says, as you held the money.
"Would you like to try it out?" He said, the hint of mischieoveness achived in his voice.
You thinked, looked at the man. "Huh? Are you trying to fool me sir?" You say monotonely.
"Miss [Reader]." He said as he stood up. You went quiet as you looked at him, how did he know your name?
After that, he said everything, every information you had, school, work- whatever else, even your fathers name.
"As now, one of your family members passed a debt to you about.. 230 million won due to loan sharks."
"Wha- what are you..?" You said, looking at him terrified.
He pulls out a card from his coat pocket, holding it out to show to you.
"We have many spots left." He says, you took the card fastly from his hand, basically snatching it.
"Give me a call." He says as he walked away, you were left there, standing.
DAY 3.
You wake up, in a strange place. Looking around, you held your head as you sighed. Rubbing your temples.
"Fucking hell... my head hurts. You sat up, and took off the duvet that was covering you. Realizing that you had new clothes, you decided to unzip the zipper of the greenish blue jacket, you saw that something was written on your shirt.
238.
"What the... fuck." You stood up and went to the center, as someone accidentally bumped into you.
"Hey-! Watch where your going!" You say, the music that was coming from the speakers finally stopped as the man spoke to you "You watch ou- oh.. i apologize miss."
"Yeah, you better." You said, looking at the man.
You observed the man as you saw that he had a hair length that was reaching his neck a little bit, he had a strong jawline, and a part of his hair was tied to the back, he kinda looked cute whatsoever, but you didnt pay mind to that.
You looked at his jumper, the jumper has a number.. '388.'
The front door opened as three men with masks, the middle one has a square mask, the other two? Both circle.
"Thats strange, this isnt a costume party at all." You say, hand on your waist.
The man was still beside's you, you didnt notice him looking at you, and then he looked back at the guards.
Murmur's filled the room, as you stayed silent, the man beside you tried talking to you.
"Real- ehem, real strange for sure." Yet you still ignored him.
TIME SKIP OF THE SQUARE TALKING.
"Excuse me." A voice said from afar, you turned around to see, it appears to be a transgender woman, you respected her of course. She stepped down some few steps and said..
"You said i'd be playing games, but you practically kidnapped me." She said, looking at the guard.
"I apologize." The man in the square soldier says. "Please understand it was necessary to maintain the game's security."
"... I agree, we didnt consent to this at all." You spoke out, looking at the guards as people leaned their head torwards you.
"So how can we believe that?" She says.
"Whats with the mask then? Is your face also a secret?" A random female says.
"Yeah! Why are you hiding your face? Is this some kind of illegal gambling house?" A random man says.
"Even the dealers dont cover their faces in those place's!" The random woman says.
Murmur's build up as i listened to some of them.
"To ensure fair gameplay and confilentiality, it is our policy not to reveal the face's and identities of staff please understand." The square says.
"... i dont really give a shit about all this talking.. except taking us to some- some place else." i sigh, crossing my arms.
A diva- i mean a girl holds out the jacket given and holds it up. "Did you take off my clothes and put these on me?" The girl says.
"My shoes are limited fucking edition." A forked up- i mean a purple haired guy says, rotating the shoes. "They're hard to find, you goin' to replace em if they get" RUINED?!"
"These dont fit and the color sucks... can i just have what your wearing instead? I like pink" the girl says.
I sigh, looking at the girl from afar, hands now in my pocket's.
TIME SKIP WHEN THEY ANNOUNCE THE PPL W/ DEBTS CUS IM LAZY..
(sorry chat)
"Hah, a crypto scammer in this game...? Noted." I say as i scoff, after hearing the mans words.
"Player 333, llee myung-gi." As the square presses something, the tv that was placed up the screen showed something, the ddakji game..!
"Age 30, Used to run a Youtube channel called MG coin. After Convincing subscribers to invest in a new crypto coin called dalmatian, causing losses of approximately 15.2 billion won. You shut down and dissapeared. Your wanted for fraud, and for violating telecom, and financial investment laws. Current debt level, 1.8 billion won."
"Player 196, Kang Mi-na, 45 million won in debt."
"Player 120, Cho hyun-ju, 330 million won in debt."
"Player 238, [READER FULL NAME]. 230 million won in debt."
'What a fucker..' i stay silent looking at the side.
"Player 230, Choi Su-bong 1.19 billion won in debt."
"Player 198, Jang do-yeong 1.4 billion won in debt."
"Player 226, Kim Yeong-san 1.9 billion won in debt."
"Player 444, Kim Nam-du, 2.02 billion won in debt"
"Player 343, Sim Jae-Seok 2.89 billion won in debt."
"Player 006, Park Mi-hwa, 3.1 billion won in debt."
"Player 283, Lee Eun-jun, 4.02 billion won in debt."
"Player 100, Im Jeong-dae, ten billion won in debt."
"One more game!" The screen's speakers yell out.
"What a greedy old grandpa, huh?" You tried talking to the taller man beside you.
"Uhuh.. totally.. haha.." he says, scratching his nape.
"Who is that? Who is he?" Some people say.
"WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT!?" it yells out. "DO YOU THINK- BLAH BLAH BLAH blah blah..."
'Yeah we dont really care whatsoever.' You rolled your eyes, murmurs still surrounding him.
"All of you in this room, Have crippling debts, and now on a cliff-edge. When we first came to you, you did not trust us either. But as you know, we played a game, and gave you money as promised, And so you trusted us and volunteered to participate according to your own free will. You have one last chance to decide, Do you want to live in a piece of trash running for creditors? Or will you seize the last opportunity we are offering?" The square finishes.
I listened carefully (finally) to its words, processing all of it inside my head.
The light's suddenly darken- and now there was a golden glow emitting from above.
"Is heaven taking- woaah... never mind i guess." I look up and above, a piggy bank, not just any ordinary piggy bank, a fucking. Huge. One.
The music that appeared fastened up when the piggy bank was going down.
"Whoa, thats huge yanno'..?" The man beside's you says.
"What you see now, is the piggy bank where your valuable prize money will be stored. After each of the six games you will play, the prizs money will be accumalated in this piggy bank." The square says.
A mama's boy- i mean a man speaks up and asks "how much is the prize money?"
The square answers the man's question. "The prize money for the game is 45.6 billion won in total."
Shocked gasps and sounds build up.
"45.6 billion... won..." i say, my eyes blinking "thats insane."
"And one of us will get it?" The man asks.
"We will give you the detail's about the distribution of the price money after the first game. For these games, you will be given a special new advantage." The square says.
"What is it?" The old bit- i mean man says.
"After each game, you will be given a chance to vote on whether to continue the game or not. If the majority votes to stop the games, you can leave with the prize money accumalated up to that point." The square says.
"Are you saying.." a man says from behind, not in the crowd, but in the sides of the bed- whatever its called
"We'll receive the money after we leave the first game?"

Y'know I love Comedically Ineffectual Javert but I feel like. Mayhaps. Not enough emphasis is put on how he is actually dangerous to people on the barricade.
He's a government spy -- "A spy of the first quality, who had observed everything, listened to everything, and taken in everything, even when he thought that he was to die; who had played the spy even in his agony, and who, with his elbows leaning on the first step of the sepulchre, had taken notes."
He knows everyone who was there, and a good amount of who did what, who's the leader, etc. He recognizes Marius after the sewers . He took names. He could have given evidence against everyone on the barricades.
Including the five men who escaped.
Including anyone who survived the massacre.
Including the women who worked at the Corinth, who did in fact help set up and prepare the barricade for the fight.
In fact, we don't know that he didn't --we can assume that he had too short an audience with the prefect to give over any detailed info, or that he chose to withhold some things in his Valjean-induced confusion, or even that they threw out his info after his suicide. But it's also possible that five men who thought they'd escaped were rounded up and arrested that week, or that two waitresses were seized as insurgents, or captives were hit with some very specific charges. As Hugo examines in detail in Ninety Three, and hints at even in Les Mis, sometimes showing mercy to one person means condemning many others.
(This , combined with the then-current attitude towards spies --basically that they were the scummiest of scum, execute immediately-- all makes me wonder not why Enjolras wanted him killed, but why he insisted on letting Javert live so long. Especially after Prouvaire's death, when it's safe to say the idea of any potential hostage negotiation is nixed-- what is the point? They aren't really intent on saving a bullet, given Valjean has the go-ahead to shoot him. And after Five Less One More, there's no chance that, say, they'll win and get to let him go as being actually harmless to them with the new political situation. There's no real explanation given in canon so it's an interesting question!)
At any rate: whether Javert did or didn't actually deliver his info, Enjolras and the other barricade fighters choosing to execute him is a practical move totally in keeping realistic military behavior (and Hugo is trying to establish them as behaving like Honorable Military Men ! Which is a whole other topic ...) . Javert is dangerous to the barricade fighters , as his job is to be dangerous-- and despite how he comes off sometimes (and in some adaptations), Javert is actually very very good at his job.

This one’s a long, but a favorite.
Jumaji inspired
Serious Chaos
So GIW has managed to get a hold of Technus’s new project. A project centered on video games.
Technus’s plan was to trap Phantom in a video game.
The game would take place in the ghost zone, and you’d have to fight different ghosts to defeat each level. The levels get more difficult as you go on. You can stop to grab ecto-dejecto to increase your health.
Anyway, the GIW got their hands on it and tested the game on the ghost scums.
Dani (Elle, 16), Danny (19), Jordan (Dan 27) and Jazz (22) (she became ver liminal due to ecto exposure) were meeting up in Amity Park when the got ambushed and sucked into…. a video game?
The GIW plays the game to test and realize that it’s actually pretty fun. And they need more funding after Vlad Masters didn’t renew the contract (something about his godchildren and daughter going missing?)
So the mass produced and sold the game.
It is an instant hit.
Now the other copies are actual programs characters and sorts, but the OG copy got lost and ended up in the shipments or games going to Gotham.
It was Wayne Famiky game night, and they all decided to play the four player game that came out last month. It was called The Ghost Zone.
They read reviews and description of the game and through it would be fun
(The Ghost Zone is a dangerous place, but with the help of your great, you might manage to make it out alive! You have four characters to choose from: Dr Jazz Phantom a brilliant psychologist. Danny Phantom, astromancy expert. Dante Phantom the ghost engineer and Elle Phantom, the teen explorer and ghost expert!)
None of the Waynes had played the game before, but they turned it and everything seemed normal. Duke played as Danny, Dick am played as Elle, Steph played as Jazz, and Tim played as Dante.
None of them could make it past level 5 without dying, so they handed the controllers over to Cass, Damian, Jason and Barbara.
But the moment Damian (17) and Jason (27) (changing the ages here) touched the controllers to pick their characters, they vanished.
There were two new characters on the screen, along with two frozen avatars.
Jason Todd: gun expert and literature nerd.
Damian Al Ghul: swordsman and animal whisperer
(Damian and Jason are the most liminal, and this is the OG copy of the game and it mistook them as ghost and sucked them in.)
~
Jason and Damian had been sucked into a video game.
Now, they have to survive the ghost zone until the Bats can get them out. They also learned that the 4 ‘characters’ are actually real people.
They were ghosts, ghosts were real. And they got sucked into a video game. For an odd reason, they had their swords and guns.
The bats are freaking out. They watched two of their members get sucked into a video can that was known for being impossible to beat.
Like I mentioned, this was the OG copy, so the characters (I’m gonna start calling the video game characters ‘characters’ and the players ‘players’) have some control over what they can ‘say’.
They can change the character dialogue to give clues and hints.
But when it comes to actual gameplay, they are mostly at the mercy of the controller, with a few exceptions.
But considering none of the hero’s exactly have enough time to learn the game and master it in a short amount of time, (except Tim (he watched Bernard played extensively) they are forced to call the worlds best players.
~
Tucker Foley, Samantha Manson, Valerie Grey and and Wes Weston immediately knew that the characters in the video game were their classmates. It was obvious once you saw the signs. And Technus came to them the moment he realized he messed up.
Considering they all live in Amity, the ecto in the air is bringing out the OG programming, so snippets of the characters actual conversation pop up on screen for a moment before glitching back to its programmed sentences.
Unfortunately, Sam and Wes didn’t have the video game experience that Tucker did, so it was up to him to try to beat the game, hoping it would bring his fiends back. He mastered the game up to level 20 out of 25, but never made it past that point.
Suddenly he was asked to come to the Hall of Justice to play video games for The Justice Leauge.
Valerie and Sam came with him, and they realized why they were asked to come.
This was the copy that Dan, Dani, Dan and Jazz got sucked in.
~
Shenanigan ideas
-characters drops codes and hints about ghosts and the GIW in the character dialogue
- Tucker logs in with his name and the Bats deciphered a code that translated to ‘Tckrs playng!!!’
-since Dani is the ghost expert in the game, she’s very overcoming by stress and lashes out at Damian, who ends up not liking her (he actually loves people who could bend him in half, it’s a Wayne Family Trait) (totally serious chaos) (reluctant partners to lovers)
-SPECIAL POWERS
• Dan can collect scrap junk and create weapons out of them. The long he collects, the more dangerous the weapon
• Jazz can stun the ghost with a few words in ghost speak, but will need ecto-dejecto to heal her damaged vocal cords (and because she’s liminal and not a halfa)
• Danny can summon a previously defeated ghost if he’s at full power, but when he does he’s then extremely weakened. He also has a spell books of smaller spells that he can use when the stars align
• Dani can talk to the ghost in their native language when they were alive and clam them down temporarily. She can also read maps of the GZ easier than the others.
•Jason can speak ghost speak easier, and is the only one that can read it casual. Can also wield any type of gun
•Damian can speak to the ghost animals and get their help on special occasions, but will need an ecto-dejecto boost after
- the ghosts they have to fight are imitations of the the rouge gallery
- Sam and Wes creating a true crime podcast. Which gains views, and they talk about the missing Fentons. It gains traction online and people realize that the characters in the game look alike, have the same hobbies and interest, and the same names. The GIW is suddenly under scrutiny
-can someone PLEASE make trading cards of the characters and the ghosts!?!!? :DDD

"Get that fucking person to me right now!" an angry Hongjoong threw his glass of whiskey, which shattered into pieces as it crashed against the wall on the opposite side of the dark meeting room.
"It is impossible to breach our security system. No way some random person could have hacked into our system and messed it up so... eloquently." Yeosang said, almost amused by the culprit's skills as he adjusted his glasses and took notes on the laptop in front of him.
"I don’t care who, how, or why this happened. All I care about is that we might loose 100 billion dollars worth of gold, and now we look like dumbasses who don’t even know who did it!" Hongjoong banged his hand on the table, startling Yeosang, then shifted to stand with his hands braced on either side of it, “Fuck!” he screamed loudly.
"Calm down, Joong. We'll find out who this bastard is. Let’s have faith in Yeosangie's skills, okay?" Seonghwa chimed in, rubbing Hongjoong’s back. Hongjoong began to calm under his touch, while Seonghwa’s other hand caressed Yeosang’s hair, soothing him as well.
"When will Wooyoung and San be back?" Hongjoong asked Seonghwa, trying to suppress his anger.
"Tonight. They’re almost done with their mission. Also, San has a boxing match in two days." Seonghwa answered his boss.
"And Mingi?"
"Still on his mission in the Neighhaw district, undercover. He should be back in a few days as well." Seonghwa replied smoothly.
"I-I might have a few coordinates on this person, um... but I’m not sure if it’s the right one." Yeosang spoke again, hesitant and unsure of the information at hand, catching Hongjoong and everyone else's attention.
"Yunho, Jongho, bring him to me!" Hongjoong ordered the Ho-e brothers, who were leaning against the wall in the corner of the room, arms folded, observing the chaos as they waited for their boss’s orders.
"Not him. It’s a her." Yeosang squeaked, gaining all of their attention as he turned his laptop toward them, showing the picture of the person responsible for the masterful breach.
Everyone’s eyes filled with different emotions, some with shock, some with amusement, but Hongjoong’s were burning with fiery anger.
"L/n Y/n is her name. She’s the one who broke into our system, stopped all of our gold-dealing operations, and planted a virus that nearly wiped out all of our data. Thankfully, I caught it just in time and stopped it." Yeosang continued, a bit surprised himself as he studied your profile.
Hongjoong turned to Yunho and Jongho. "Get me her, tonight," he ordered them, voice firm laced with authority “Let’s show her the true price of crossing the KamorraZ.” with that KamorraZ boss Hongjoong left the room.
-
“I am done with the evening tea, so I am taking my leave now.” you said, gently tapping your lips with a tissue and glancing up, not really surprised to receive any replies.
Your dad, the CEO of Nexus, a tech empire known for crafting masterful cameras and tech gadgets, was engaged in an intense conversation with your elder brother about some business matters, barely glancing at you.
While your mother was too busy feeding your younger sister, a bratty 15-year-old who still managed to capture all of her attention, warmth, and affection. Being the middle child was definitely the worst!
Shaking your head, you got up and left for your room. It did hurt sometimes, being ignored, not getting attention, and receiving minimal love, but they did shower you will limitless money making you get used to this life. And honestly, you were not complaining, not at all.
Not constantly being on their radar gave you the freedom to explore everything from horse riding and boxing to advanced coding and hacking, with hacking being your favorite pastime.
You liked messing things up, the thrill of not getting caught while still making your presence felt gave you immense joy. Randomly breaching various organizations' security systems and corrupting them with viruses was something you were extremely skilled at.
Does that make you a bad person? An irresponsible adult? Probably.
Do you care? No.
Did they care about you? When you were away from the house for a whole night, did your family even notice? No.
Did they come looking for you? No.
So what’s the point? Should you care anymore? Fuck NO!
A fat middle finger to you, cruel fucking world.
8PM, in your room.
Your fingers quickly worked on the keys, tapping away blocks of code. You were almost there with fucking up this security system that you somehow got hold of, ready to mess it up once you get past these operations, which seemed like some kind of gold dealings.
Eh, who cares? Let’s fuck this shit up.
With that, in dramatic fashion, you warmed your hands for the climax as you sabotaged the gold dealing of an organization called…KZ ? Interesting. Breaching their security system was a bit difficult, kinda advanced compared to the other orgs you had played with in the past.
But it’s Y/n here! And there ain't a system you can't fuck up.
Then you started injecting the virus into their system. Your fingers raced over the keyboard, typing commands to sneak the harmful code inside their defenses. Excitement rushed through you as the screen lit up, showing lines of green text while the virus worked its way through KZ’s security.
A dark look crossed your soft face, and a wicked smile appeared as you thought about the trouble it would cause. Just as the final command ran, the room's door banged open, startling you.
Your bratty sister, Anya, burst into the room, a mischievous grin plastered across her face.
“Guess what? Mommy, Daddy, Hyung, and I are off to Giovanni’s party,” she announced in that screechy tone of hers, practically glowing with delight. “Oh, and don’t bother waiting for dinner, we’ll be out all night! Enjoy your lonely little meal!” The sheer audacity of this brat made your blood boil.
"Have fun, Anya. Try not to embarrass yourself too much in front of your precious friends.” you sassed back at her, not even bothering to look up.
"Hump!" she replied, unplugging your system and making your screen go blank at once.
Blinking a few times you looked up at her, anger boiling through your veins. She shot a satisfying wicked grin at you before walking out.
Eh, you were anyway done with it. With that, you decided to go for a walk, alone in the extremely safe neighborhood of yours, unaware of who was waiting for you.
10PM, outside your house.
A chill went down you spine as the cold breeze wooshed past you, the ambient night sounds ringed your ears as you walked in your neighbourhood. Your neighbourhood filled with elite families, had highest security, so walking alone at night was completely safe.
But tonight’s a bit differnt. You didn’t feel safe walking alone.
A black car closely followed you, keep tracking of your every turn as you started walking fast. As you speed up walking, turning back from time to time to see if they still followed you.
Your heart raced, and you quickened your pace, but it wasn’t fast enough. The car screeched to a halt just ahead, cutting you off, the KZ logo did not go unnoticed. Two figures emerged, one insanely tall and lean, the other buff and well-built. Yunho and Jongho had their faces hidden with only their intense eyes visible exuding a cold and intimidating presence.
You barely had time to react before the tall one caught your arm, yanking you back with ease. You struggled, but buff one moved in swiftly, silencing you with a hand over your mouth, chlorofom clouding your senses.
"That was almost too easy. No, Jongho?” the tall one, Yunho, teased exchanging looks with the buff one, presumably Jongho."Were you hoping we’d catch you, sweetheart?” he mocked, breath hot against your ear as your conciousness slowly started to slip.
“Most likely, Yunho. Lets take her to the base.” Jongho replied sparing you one final glance, a playful smirk dancing on his lips.
A blindfold was slipped over your eyes, and you were shoved into the car. The doors slammed shut.
"KamorraZ always on top." Yunho and Jongho laughed, their voices dripping with confidence as they exchanged a playful high five.
Oh, fuck! KZ - THE KamorraZ, the most powerful mafia gang had you. And now, you were at their mercy.
That’s it you’re consciousness fully slipped of darkness clouded your brain.
-
The blindfold was yanked from your eyes, you blinked rapidly, struggling to adjust to the harsh light flooding the room. As your vision cleared, the reality hit hard, Hongjoong stood at the center, his icy gaze piercing right through you. Surrounding him were the KamorraZ members, all of them watching with unnerving intensity—Yunho, Jongho, Wooyoung, San, Seonghwa, and Yeosang. Mingi was notably absent, but that wasn’t comforting.
You tried to read their faces, hoping to make sense of the situation, maybe also trying to figure out what’s gonna happen with you now.
Hongjoong’s voice cut through the tense silence, sharp and confident. "I see no reason to keep you alive," he said, his fingers tapping impatiently on the table. "You’ve trespassed into our world, and for that, death is the only price.”
You gulped trying to keep a composure, but inside you were a freaking mess.
Your throat tightened. This is it? you thought, panic swelling inside. I’m going to die now? Wow… I haven’t even had proper sex yet!
A few of the members shifted uncomfortably. Yunho, leaned casually against the wall, gaze flickering between you and Hongjoong. Jongho stood stoic as ever, arms crossed, though his face gave out nothing. Yeosang, meanwhile, watched from the shadows, his sharp eyes never leaving you while Seonghwa, standing beside him, seemed more contemplative. His expression was hard to read, but there was a flicker of something, pity, perhaps?
San and Wooyoung exchanged a glance, something unreadable passing between them. You couldn’t tell whether they were in favor of or against your fate.
Wooyoung broke the silence stepping forward, speaking confidently, “She hacked us.That alone shows she’s got skills. Skills we can use.”
Hongjoong’s eyes flickered toward Wooyoung, unimpressed. “Skills?” he repeated, voice laced with skepticism. “Skills that nearly cost us our security. That’s not something to celebrate, Wooyoung.”
San chimed in, standing beside Wooyoung “If she’s good enough to get through our systems, she could be worth more alive than dead,” he argued, his tone playful but serious underneath. Wooyoung’s partner in crime, hence proved.
Hongjoong raised an eyebrow, his patience thinning. “And if she uses those same skills to betray us? Do you really want to take that risk? We’re not in the business of charity, San.”
Seonghwa, standing to the side, spoke next. His voice was calm yet firm, “We should at least see what she can do before making any rash decisions.”
Hongjoong’s gaze shifted to Seonghwa, clearly annoyed. “Rash decisions? I’m trying to prevent a disaster. You know what happens if word gets out that we let someone hack into our system and walk away.”
In the shadows, Yeosang, who had remained quiet until now, finally spoke, his presence subtle but commanding. “She’s already in too deep,” he said, his voice low. “If she’s loyal, she could be an asset.”
He continued, “I’ve reviewed her background thoroughly. She doesn’t seem to have any allies, so it looks like she’s been doing this alone… just for fun, I guess?” His gaze shifted to you, studying your every move, searching for any sign that contradicted his words. When you nervously bowed your head, it confirmed what he suspected. He was right.
The thick tension filled atmosphere dawned like a veil, your survival literally dwindled on a thin thread. Everyone’s eyes were now on Hongjoong, waiting for his final call. The leader’s jaw clenched, clearly irritated by the pushback, but he wasn’t someone to ignore the voices of his crew especially when Wooyoung and San were pushing this hard.
Finally, after what felt like hours, Hongjoong let out a low sigh, frustration clear in his voice. “Fine. One chance.”
You nodded slowly, your heart pounding as Hongjoong continued. “In two days, there’s a boxing match. You’ll assist Wooyoung and San. Arthur, a member of a rival gang, has the gold deal secured.Yeosang confirmed it. Fix what you messed up, under the cover of the fight. Wooyoung and San will fill you in on the rest.” He finished, gesturing toward Woosan, both now had smug smiles on their faces, having just won you a chance to escape death.
Leaning in, his breath brushed your face as his voice darkened with a mix of threat and intrigue. "If you succeed, you live. But if you fail..." His eyes held yours, a slight smirk on his lips. "You'll beg for death, but it won't come easy.”
-
After spending two days with Wooyoung and San, you slowly warmed up to them. The three of you shared meals as you learned about every member, they also told you stories of their past missions, and you entertained them with your absurd stories of hacking into security systems and causing mayhem.
From the very beginning, it felt like you would get along well, and that assumption turned out to be true. At least here, with them, you felt heard—unlike in your soulless home. Wooyoung’s playful charm and constant flirting, paired with San’s unexpected warmth and casual touches, made the cold, brutal reality of KamorraZ a little easier to bear.
But the two days weren’t just about bonding. They were also filled with intense preparation. Self-defense training and running through the mission details with Wooyoung and San consumed most of your time. You learned that San was scheduled to face off against Arthur, a key figure in the rival gang, in a boxing match. Arthur’s men would be scattered throughout the arena, watching closely, but your mission was clear. While the fight served as a distraction, you’d sneak out, locate Arthur’s car, secure his laptop, sabotage the deal, and alert Yeosang. After that, you'd return to the match unnoticed. San would finish Arthur in the ring, ensuring that the night ended in your favor.
It was a solid, well-thought-out plan. What could go wrong? Apparently, everything.
San paced nervously in the back of the van, his usual bravado slipping. From the driver’s seat, Wooyoung caught your eye through the rearview mirror and offered a reassuring smile. “He always gets like this before a fight,” he said with a soft chuckle. “He’ll be fine once we’re there.”
You nodded, trying to calm your own nerves, but the tension in the air was thick. Watching San run a hand through his hair, his brows furrowed, you couldn’t just sit there.
“Hey,” you said softly, moving closer. “You’ve got this. We’ve got this.” Your hand brushed his arm, and he glanced at you, his eyes softening briefly.
San managed a faint smile, though his shoulders remained tense. “It’s not just the fight,” he admitted, voice low. “If we mess this up, it’s all of us at risk.”
His vulnerability struck a chord. “I’m nervous too,” you confessed, scooting closer, placing your hand on his. He gripped it gently, his fingers wrapping around yours. “But we’re a team, right?”
San’s gaze lingered on yours, the tension in his eyes betraying the brave face he tried to wear. His thumb traced soothing circles on the back of your hand, but the longer you stared, the more your heart raced.
Who’s calming who?
You glanced up at San, his breath hitching as your hand grazed his thigh. His usual bravado faltered, but the darkening in his eyes showed he wasn't as confused as he pretended to be. A smirk tugged at the corner of his lips, and the air between you both thickened.
“Maybe I can help.” you whispered before you could stop yourself. Slowly, you slid off your seat, settling between his legs. San’s breath hitched as your fingers toyed with the waistband of his pants, the tension growing.
“Yah! Don’t have fun without me!” Wooyoung yelled from the front, glancing at the rearview mirror, grip tightening on the wheel. His dramatic reaction only added to the teasing mood.
You shot him a playful look. “Eyes on the road, Woo.” you teased with a wink, then turned your attention back to San.
Freeing his thick, veiny cock, you paused to admire him for a moment. San's smirk grew, giving you the approval you sought. With one kitten lick across the tip, his composure shattered, a wave of pleasure taking over as his nervousness faded into thin air.
Maintaining eye contact, you swirled your tongue around his tip, watching pleasure cloud his gaze as he let out a low, breathy “Fuck.” His head fell back against the seat, eyes closed, and a shudder ran through him as your other hand massaged his balls.
Pumping his hard length slowly, teasingly, you pushed him further with every stroke, his soft moans fueling your desire. Without warning, you took him fully into your mouth, your lips wrapping tightly around his girthy cock. San’s hands tangled in your hair, pulling it into a makeshift ponytail as you bobbed your head, taking him deeper with each movement.
The van filled with the wet sounds of your mouth, drawing out San's breathless moans. Wooyoung, still watching from the mirror, groaned dramatically. “This is torture, you know,” he whined, tossing his head back in frustration but keeping the van steady. His grumbling only heightened the playful tension, and you could feel his frustration adding to the heat in the moment.
“Y/n, I— I’m gonna—” San’s voice cracked as his hips bucked slightly. You quickened your pace, hollowing your cheeks, your jaw stretched pleasurably by his thick length. The sensation of his tip hitting the back of your throat made you push through the ache, desperate to take every inch.
San’s body tensed as he twitched in your mouth, spilling himself into you with a groan. You swallowed everything, your tongue still working him until he had nothing left to give.
Pulling away, you wiped your lips with a satisfied smirk. “Feel better?” you murmured.
San’s eyes were half-lidded, his face flushed, a lazy smile playing on his lips. “You reallyare something else!” he breathed out, still catching his breath. “But,I am feeling much better now.”
From the front, Wooyoung groaned, throwing his hands up dramatically. “You owe me for this, San. Big time!” He shot you a teasing smirk through the mirror. “And you, babygirl, get ready for your punishment once I’m done driving.” His playful threat sent a shiver down your spine, adding to the delicious tension filling the van.
Now with San behind the steering wheel, you decided to work on the mission a bit. You studied Arthur’s profile and the routes you need to take in the parking lot to reach his car. Getting everything ready to corrupt his system, you also prepared a sneaky surprise for the rival gang.
The van came to a sudden halt and stopped with a jerk.
“Gas station. Pit stop.” San shouted from the front as Wooyoung got down the van shooting you a dirty look.
What was that now ? Why is this guy sudddenly acting weird ? Is he..jealous ?
As San headed inside to grab food, you found yourself alone with Wooyoung by the van, the tension between you two lingering. He leaned against the side of the van, arms crossed, pretending to ignore you while his jaw clenched slightly.
You decided to break the silence. “What’s with the look, Woo? Jealous?” you teased, a smirk tugging at your lips.
He scoffed but didn’t meet your eyes. “Jealous? Of San? Please. I’m just—" Wooyoung paused, searching for an excuse, but you could see right through him. "I’m annoyed, that’s all."
"Annoyed, huh?" You stepped closer, tilting your head slightly. “You’ve been pouting since then. Come on, admit it. You hate when someone else gets the attention.”
Wooyoung finally looked at you, his usual playful grin creeping back. “Me? Pout? I don’t pout. I’m just... irritated that San got all the fun back there, while I had to focus on keeping the van on the road.”
You raised an eyebrow, amused. “Sounds a lot like jealousy to me.”
"Jealousy?" Wooyoung straightened up, inching closer with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Please, if I were jealous, I would’ve thrown San out of the van and taken his place."
You chuckled. “Oh really? So what’s stopping you now?”
Wooyoung opened his mouth to respond but quickly closed it, narrowing his eyes at you playfully. "You know what? Fine, maybe I am jealous. But only because I didn’t get to show off my skills first."
"Skills?" You burst into laughter. “So that’s what this is about. You feel left out.”
You leaned against the van next to him, grinning. “Don’t worry, Woo. I’m sure you’ll get your chance soon enough. Besides, it’s cute seeing you all worked up.”
Before Wooyoung could respond, San returned with bags of snacks, completely oblivious to the banter that had just unfolded.
“What did I miss?” San asked, glancing between the two of you as he handed Wooyoung a drink.
Wooyoung snatched it, side-eyeing you with a playful grin. “Oh, nothing. Just figuring out who’s more jealous in this van.”
San raised an eyebrow, confused, while you and Wooyoung exchanged knowing looks.
Making your way inside the van, San once again took the steering wheel while you settled in the back with your laptop, preparing the surprise for the rival gang. A wicked smile crossed your face as you dramatically rubbed your palms together, imagining the chaos your plan would cause.
Lost in your thoughts, you barely noticed Wooyoung until he settled behind you, his legs trapping you in place as his warm body pressed against yours.
His hands began to softly rub your waist, pulling you slightly closer to him. "Woo, what are you doing?" you muttered, eyes narrowing playfully, a faint smile dancing on your lips.
Wooyoung’s breath, hot against your ear, sent a shiver down your spine. “Showing you my skills.” he whispered, his voice laced with mischief. He dipped his head, leaving soft kisses along your neck.
“Eyes on the laptop, babygirl.” he threw your tease back at you, his smile evident against your skin as his lips began trailing open-mouthed kisses. Occasionally, his teeth grazed your skin with gentle bites, causing you to suppress a moan.
Despite the distraction, you tried to stay focused, fingers hovering over the keyboard, but Wooyoung's attention made it increasingly difficult to concentrate. "How am I supposed to work like this?" you asked, breathless, feeling his lips linger on your pulse point.
“Multitask, baby.” Wooyoung murmured, his breath hot against your skin as his hands slid up to your chest, massaging gently but firmly. His fingers brushed over your nipples, teasing with just enough pressure to send a jolt through your body. His lips trailed along your neck, sucking lightly and leaving faint marks.
His hands squeezed and kneaded your boobs over the clothes making it impossible to focus. You tried to stay on task, but each touch clouded your mind further.
"Wooyoung…" you gasped, voice shaky, eyes closed as he chuckled softly against your neck. "Keep working…" he whispered, fingers pressing harder. "I know you can handle it."
San’s deep voice suddenly broke through. “If you two are done, a little focus on the mission would be nice,” he teased. “Unless you want me to pull over and join.”
You flushed as Wooyoung smirked. “Feel free, Sannie. But win the fight first. You gotta earn it you know ? ” he shot back teasing, his hands still on you.
San chuckled, meeting your gaze in the rearview mirror. "Don't worry, I always earn what’s mine." he replied, voice low and filled with intent. "Just save some energy for later, you’re gonna need it."
As the van slowed near the arena gate, the weight of his words lingered. Wooyoung pressed a final kiss to your shoulder, whispering, "Time to focus, babygirl." You both quickly fixed yourselves and moved to the front, ready to face the mission ahead.
-
The underground boxing arena screamed of grit, raw energy and danger. Dim lights flickered above, casting shadows over the crowd, a diverse mix of mafia gangs all copped together in anticipation. The air was thick with tension, the stench of sweat and smoke mingling with the metallic scent of money.
Everywhere you looked, men in dark suits and expensive watches lounged around, whispering deals, exchanging deadly glances, and clutching their drinks with one hand and a beautiful blonde in their other hand.
The parking lot outside was a stark contrast to the grimy atmosphere of the arena. Sleek, luxury cars lined the lot, an indication of the wealth and power amassed here tonight. Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and armored SUVs gleamed under the faint glow of streetlights, guarded by stoic, armed men. It was a place where opulence and danger lived side by side, giving you a stark reminder of the stakes involved.
As the van rolled in, you passed a tough security checkpoint. Hulking men in black scanned the van, checking IDs, and giving approving nods before stepping aside to let you through. You felt their eyes on you, but with Wooyoung and San by your side, you slipped past the security with ease.
Inside, thecheerful roars echoed, crowds of people swarmed the arena floor, eager for the violence that was about to unfold. San stole a quick glance at you, a soft look adorned his face before egtting replaced with intense feline eyes. A calm exterior dawned him at the intense fight that lay ahead. You exchanged a quick nod. Wooyoung, on the other hand, flashed his trademark grin, leaning in for a quick “Good luck. Don’t get caught.”
Then, you parted ways.San to the ring, Wooyoung to manage the bets, and you to find Arthur’s car.
The arena buzzed as San climbed into the ring, greeted by Arthur, a towering figure with a snarl to match. The crowd roared as the two men stood infront and eventually bowed, marking the begining of the fight while Wooyoung collected the bet money on San’s name.
The fight began with a flurry of punches, San's lean frame dancing around Arthur's brute force. Wooyoung stood at the sidelines, eyes sharp as he handled the stacks of cash betted on San, his hands moving swiftly to manage the money while keeping a close eye on the fight. Every punch San landed, Wooyoung would grin, his confidence in San palpable as he entertained the others throwing down their money.
Meanwhile, you slipped out of the chaos, nerves buzzing as you headed to the parking lot for your first mission. The weight of it pressed on you, but you held steady, determined not to crack under pressure. Spotting Arthur’s sleek black BMW in a dim corner, your heart raced, but you reminded yourself to breathe.
This was your chance to prove yourself and not get killed.
You pulled out your tools and got to work, hacking into the car’s system. The dashboard lit up as you breached its firewall, fingers flying over your laptop as you worked to corrupt the data and plant the surprise for the rival gang.
Back in the ring, San was locked in a brutal exchange of punches. Arthur's size made him formidable, but San was faster, more precise. Each strike was calculated, his movements fluid. The crowd roared as he landed a solid punch to Arthur’s jaw, sending the man staggering back. San was in control, and it showed.
Meanwhile, you worked quickly, aware that time was running out. Arthur's car system was more than just a firewall; it was the nerve center of his entire operation. As you cracked through the layers of security, you stumbled upon sensitive files detailing a massive gold smuggling ring. But these weren’t just any dealings; they were KamorraZ's—your gold. Arthur had been skimming from KZ all along.
A smirk tugged at your lips as you wiped the data clean, erasing his transactions and taking back what was yours. Swiftly, you sent a notification to Yeosang, so he could lock this all down for KamorraZ, securing your regained control of the gold deal. Gold deal acquired. First Task done!
Next, you wiped the data clean, erasing years of shady transactions, leaving no trace behind and successfully planted a virus, rigged to not only erase all his data but also lock him out of his own networks. Second task checked off!
Now for the fun part, the cherry on top if you may say.
A program designed to send a mass email to every crime boss, claiming Arthur is “switching careers” leaving the mafia life to join a bunny band. Attached was a photoshopped image of Arthur in a ridiculous sparkly outfit, his crew labeled as his "backup bunny dancers," each given a humiliating stage name. Also, every time one of Arthur’s men would try to log into their accounts or communicate, their profile pictures would automatically change to cartoon characters, everything from clueless clowns to pink bunnies wearing tutus.
It was a deadly blow wrapped in a joke. In an instant, the infamous Arthur’s crew would go from feared mafia gang to a running joke in the mafia world. Laughter would ripple through the underworld, and Arthur’s once-feared name would become synonymous with mockery.
Final task accomplished!
Wooyoung, half-focused on San's fight, checked his phone. "Status?”
“Almost done,” you replied, watching the final upload. The plan was flawless. Arthur’s reign would crumble, his gold reclaimed, and his reputation destroyed in a way no one would forget.
Wooyoung signaled San that your work was done, a proud smirk adorning his face.
Fueled by adrenaline and the successful completion of your part of the mission, San delivered the final blow, a fierce uppercut that sent Arthur crashing to the mat. The crowd erupted into a frenzy, cheering and shouting as San stood victorious, barely breaking a sweat. Meanwhile, Wooyoung threw a fist in the air, collecting the piles of cash while flashing you a quick look from across the room.
“Mission accomplished,” you texted the whole group back at the base, as you made your way back to Wooyoung, the rush of success surging through you. As you rejoined them, San had just won his match, the crowd roaring with excitement as he raised his fists in triumph. Wooyoung was already collecting cash from the bets, his grin wide as he pocketed the money.
Just then, he big screen above the ring lit up, showing a hilarious photoshopped image of Arthur and his men in bunny costumes with tutus completed with exaggerated expressions. The crowd burst into laughter, adding to the night’s chaos. Even Arthur and his crew were too stunned to react, their fearsome reputation shattered in an instant. Your little bunny surprise had worked perfectly.
Wooyoung had a playful smirk dancing on his lips. “You're evil. Perfect for KamorraZ.” He chuckled, shaking his head as the crowd continued to roar with laughter, unaware of the all the other chaos you’d unleashed on Arthur’s operation.
Taking this as your cue, you shared quick glances with San and Wooyoung. “Time to slip out,” San said urgently.
You maneuvered through the crowd, securing the winnings from the fight, the gold deal, and the chaos you'd caused. Once at the van, you jumped in, adrenaline still surging.
“Let’s get back to base. They need to know the beautiful chaos you have caused.” Wooyoung said, counting the cash with a wide grin. San nodded, starting the engine and pulling away. As the arena lights faded behind you, you smiled at the success of your first mission. One that had shaken the underworld.
Back at the base, the atmosphere buzzed with celebration as crew members surrounded you, congratulating you for your successful mission. Wooyoung clung to your side, practically bouncing with excitement. “Look at you, all badass! Ready for tonight ?” he teased, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
San leaned against the wall, a proud smile on his face. “You really nailed it,” he said, shooting you a smirk that made your heart race. It was clear both he and Wooyoung were down bad to steal you away for the night and finish what you had started back in the van.
Hongjoong stepped forward, his tough love evident as he clapped a hand on your shoulder. “Not bad for a rookie. You’ve earned my trust,” he said, his tone gruff but with an unmistakable warmth behind it.”Atleast we don’t have to kill you now.”
Seonghwa approached, a soft smile on his face. “You did well,” he said, his voice calm yet encouraging. “We knew you could handle it.”
Yeosang chimed in, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “I can’t wait to see Arthur’s face when he realizes what happened. You really pulled one over on him!”
Yunho and Jongho joined the group, both grinning widely. “You’ve got guts,” Yunho said, giving you a light punch on the arm. “Welcome to the family.”
Jongho laughed, adding, “Next time, let’s make it even bigger!”
As laughter filled the room, Wooyoung leaned closer, his voice dropping to a husky whisper. “You know, after all this, I think you, San and I deserve some private time together” he said, glancing at San, who nodded in agreement, his expression playful yet intense. Your heart raced but you shot him a playful smile with a look in your eyes that screamed approval to his request.
You could feel the crew’s acceptance wrapping around you like a warm blanket. You were no longer just an outsider, you were part of the team.
In this moment, it felt more like home than your actual home ever had.

.。*♡ A/N: Aaa back to my origins, I missed writing for Chrollo, he is such an interesting character with some many layers to peel off. Got inspired to write this after doing a lesson for my course where me and my group were discussing about the meaning of life and, y'know, philosophical questions like this would get Chrollo debating for hours just so he could understand his darling opinions.
Tumblr media
The room was dimly lit, the only light source was a flickering candle on a worn-out table - the room Chrollo rented this time left to be desired, quaint, old. Shadows danced along the cracked walls, creating an atmosphere that was both claustrophobic and eerie. And you were almost certain that you saw a roach running somewhere. You hated here.
Most of all, you hated him.
Chrollo's dark eyes bore into yours, the intensity of his gaze sending even more chills down your spine. The air as always was thick with tension, one could not have a simple conversation with someone like him im peace.
He leaned forward, his shadows swallowing the light as he let his book rest on the table before turning to look at you again. You could almost see the gears turning on his head. Chrollo was calm and composed but there was something deeply unsettling about him — an aura of danger that lingered just beneath the surface.
Maybe it was his eyes. His very beautiful, mesmerizing eyes that were so similar to two black holes devouring and tainting anything they fell upon. He rested his chin on his hand, the faintest hint of a smile playing on his lips as he observed you, as he searched through your soul for something only he knew about.
"Entertain me, dear," Chrollo began, his voice smooth, almost gentle, yet laced with a sinister undertone, drumming his fingers against his leg, "What do you think is the meaning of life?"
The question hung in the air, heavy and loaded. You hesitated, knowing that your answer could shape the course of this conversation. He liked doing that; giving you something to think about to mold you into who he thinks you should be. Chrollo was unpredictable, his mind a labyrinth of thoughts and intentions that were impossible to decipher, yet you were learning how to read his mannerisms.
If he could read you like an open book, then you should learn and do the same to him. Two can play this game.
He was a man who could kill without remorse, who was used to steal and take without feeling nothing for the victims, even then here he was, asking you to ponder something as profound as the meaning of life. You bite the inside of your cheek, trying not to curse him; the man who took you from your old life.
You took a deep breath, trying to steady your racing heart. "I think the meaning of life is… To find s purpose. To create something that gives our existence meaning, whether it's love, art, or even just surviving the challenges we face. Don't you think?"
Chrollo's smile widened, though it didn't reach his eyes. "Purpose, you say? Interesting." He leaned back, crossing his arms as he considered your words. "But what if your purpose is tied to destruction, to chaos because the world failed you? Can that be considered a valid purpose?"
The question sent a shiver down your spine. You knew what he was getting at. Chrollo's life was one of bloodshed and mayhem, his purpose seemingly intertwined with the suffering of others. The thought of justifying such a life made your stomach churn, but you couldn't afford to show weakness.
Sometimes, you mused, Chrollo must think of you like a butterfly strapped to his table while he dissected you.
Or that's how you felt.
"Purpose is subjective," You replied carefully, your voice steady despite the unease creeping through you. "Some might find meaning in creation, others in destruction. But I believe it ultimately comes down to how we perceive our actions and the impact they have on the world around us."
Chrollo's eyes narrowed, the intensity of his gaze becoming almost unbearable. "And what about you?" He asked, his voice soft but deadly serious. "What is your purpose? What meaning do you find in your life?"
The room seemed to close in around you, the air growing colder, more oppressive. You could feel the weight of Chrollo's expectations pressing down on you, as if he was daring you to give the wrong answer. Your mind raced, searching for the right words, the right response that would satisfy him.
"My purpose..." You began, letting your eyes fall to your folded hands. You didn't have one, not anymore at least, he stole that and any chance that you could find it. "My purpose is to live. To experience everything life has to offer, the good and the bad. To find my own path, whatever that may be."
My purpose is to survive you, to kill you. But not yet, dear. You concluded mentally, imitating his tone.
Chrollo studied you in silence, his expression unreadable. The tension in the room was almost suffocating, the silence stretching out until it felt like it would never end. Then, slowly, he nodded, as if accepting your answer — though you couldn't tell if he was satisfied or merely amused.
"An admirable sentiment," He said finally, though his tone was laced with a special kind of amusement. "But remember, the path you choose may not always be under your control, life has a way of steering us in directions we never expected. I'm certain you're quite familiar with this."
Chrollo was a man who thrived on control, on manipulating the lives of others to suit his own ends. It annoyed you greatly that he liked to pour salt over the wound, teasing you about your current predicament.
This time you didn't look away. You held his gaze, refusing to let him see the fear that threatened to consume you. If you were going to survive him, you needed to be strong, to show him that you weren't just another victim.
"I suppose that's true," You replied, forcing a small smile. "But I also believe we have the power to shape our own future, to defy and erase certain aspects of it."
Chrollo's eyes gleamed with a dark amusement, and for a moment, you thought you saw something dangerous flicker in his expression. "Perhaps," He nodded, his voice low and almost mocking. "But remember, in the end, the meaning of life may be nothing more than what we make of it… Or what someone else makes it for us."
The conversation ended with those words, the tension in the room slowly dissipating but leaving behind an unsettling feeling that lingered in your chest. Chrollo rose from his seat, his movements graceful and deliberate. He gave you one last, lingering look before turning to leave, his presence as haunting as ever.
"I'll buy us something to eat, behave yourself in the meantime."
As the door closed behind him, you were left alone with your thoughts, the candle's flame flickering weakly in the darkness. The meaning of life, what did it matter in a world where someone like Chrollo Lucilfer existed, where lives were manipulated and discarded without a second thought?
You couldn't shake the feeling that, in his own twisted way, Chrollo had found his meaning right here and now.
And if he did, if he found his meaning, you didn't want to know what it was.

After an exhausting mission that had left you breathless and adrenaline-fueled, the three of you found solace in a dimly lit cabin deep in the woods. The night air was cool against your flushed skin, a stark contrast to the heat still lingering from the close quarters of combat. You had fought alongside Wade Wilson and Logan Howlett, and the chemistry between the three of you had become undeniable.
Wade’s playful banter had been a constant throughout the mission, his sharp wit cutting through the tension like a knife. His flirtatious remarks, often laced with double entendres, had a way of making you laugh even when adrenaline coursed through your veins. Each time he winked at you after a narrow escape or made some outrageous joke during a tense moment, you felt a flutter in your stomach that hinted at something deeper than friendship. The way he effortlessly slipped into his charming persona, teasing you about your bravery, only intensified your attraction.
In contrast, Logan’s presence was intense and grounding. His brooding demeanor had drawn you in, the deep timbre of his voice resonating with a mix of authority and warmth that made your heart race. You had noticed how he would often position himself between you and danger, his broad shoulders a shield against any threats. The way he looked at you—with a fierce protectiveness and a glint of something more—had ignited a fire within you. You could feel the electricity in the air whenever your eyes met, each glance lingering just a second longer, filled with unspoken words and desires.
The dynamic between the two of them was electric, each man complementing the other in ways that left you breathless. In battle, they moved with a fluidity that seemed almost choreographed, anticipating each other’s moves as if they had fought together for years. Logan’s raw power paired seamlessly with Wade’s agility and quick-thinking, creating a synergy that was mesmerizing to witness. The way they exchanged knowing looks after a successful takedown made your heart race; their camaraderie was palpable, and it made you yearn to be a part of it.
As you stepped inside, the smell of pine mingled with the lingering scent of gunpowder, a reminder of the chaos you had just survived. The cabin felt like a sanctuary, offering a sense of safety and intimacy after the harrowing events of the evening. You could hear the faint crackle of a fire, the flickering flames casting playful shadows on the walls, enhancing the sense of isolation from the outside world.
Wade flopped onto the worn leather couch, his usual cocky demeanor shining through the exhaustion. He flashed you a grin, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “So, we survived another day, huh? I’d say we deserve a little reward.” He leaned back, stretching his arms, and you couldn’t help but admire the way his muscles flexed, all that pent-up energy just waiting to explode.
Logan, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, raised an eyebrow. “Reward, huh? What’d’ya have in mind?”
With a laugh, Wade jumped up and headed to the small kitchenette. “How about we celebrate with a drink? I’ve got some tequila stashed away.” His excitement was infectious, and you found yourself smiling as you followed him, the atmosphere growing lighter with each passing moment.
Within minutes, the three of you were sitting around the low table, shots of tequila lined up like soldiers ready for battle. Wade poured the drinks with a flourish, handing you one with a cheeky grin. “To surviving!” he declared, raising his glass high. You clinked your shot glass against his and Logan’s, feeling the anticipation build as you downed the fiery liquid.
The warmth of the alcohol spreads through you quickly, loosening your inhibitions and making the night feel even more electric. Laughter filled the room as stories from the mission flowed, each shared memory sparking more laughter and more shots. Wade was in rare form, his wit sharper than ever, while Logan’s usual stoicism softened with each drink.
The alcohol coursed through you, spreading a delicious warmth that radiated from your core and settled into your limbs. With each round, laughter flowed freely, and the weight of the day’s battles faded away. Wade was in rare form, his quick wit lacing the air with playful banter, while Logan, typically stoic, let a smile slip through as he joined in on the light-hearted teasing.
As the night wore on, the tequila worked its magic. You could feel the heat pooling in your cheeks, and your body tingle with anticipation. Logan’s eyes occasionally flicked to you, filled with a mix of interest and caution, as if he were assessing whether to dive into the swirling tide of energy between you and Wade. Wade, ever the instigator, caught onto the unspoken tension.
“You know what we should do?” he slurred, leaning closer, his breath hot against your skin. “A little... team-building exercise. I mean, with all this chemistry, we’d be foolish not to explore it.”
Logan raised an eyebrow, a smirk threatening to break his composed facade. “What are you getting at, Wade?”
With a gleam in his eye, Wade leaned back, arms stretched behind his head. “How about a threesome? Just think about it. We’re in a cabin in the middle of nowhere—perfect setup.” He laughed, but you could see Logan’s resolve beginning to waver as his gaze shifted toward you. Wade turned to look at you.
“C’mon, sweetheart. Just think about it. You’ve got two strapping men right here, ready and willing to cater to your every desire. What do you say?”
You felt your heart race at his suggestion, the thrill of the idea sending shivers down your spine. “I mean... it could be fun,” you replied, your voice teasing but laced with genuine curiosity. “I... I’m not opposed to it.”
Wade’s gaze sparkled with interest, and he leaned closer, his shoulder brushing against yours. “See? She’s into it. I knew you’d be, babe.” His confidence radiated off him like an intoxicating perfume, wrapping around you, urging you to lean in.
But then, there was Logan. He remained quiet, his expression guarded yet intrigued, as if he were considering the idea. Wade, sensing that Logan just needed a little push, leaned in closer, brushing his lips against your cheek. “What do you think, sweetheart? Do you want to be the center of our attention?”
Before you could even formulate a response, Wade leaned in, his movements slow and deliberate as he pressed a teasing kiss to your other cheek. The warmth of his lips sent a thrill coursing through you, igniting a fire deep within that made your heart race. The sweet, intoxicating scent of him enveloped you, mixing with the lingering aroma of tequila, creating an atmosphere thick with tension and promise.
His eyes sparkled with mischief, and you felt a magnetic pull as he drew closer. With a soft, playful grin, he pressed his lips against yours, a gentle brush that sent electricity zipping through your body. It was just a fleeting moment, a taste of what was to come, but it was enough to make your breath hitch.
Wade’s lips danced against yours in a teasing rhythm, each kiss growing bolder and more insistent. The world around you faded, leaving just the two of you suspended in this delicious moment. You melted into him, instinctively leaning forward as his hands found their way to your neck, drawing you even closer, your bodies fitting together like pieces of a puzzle.
With each soft peck, your body responded eagerly, a heady mix of excitement and desire swirling in your veins. The kisses deepened, turning passionate, your mouths moving together in perfect harmony. You could feel the warmth radiating from him, his touch igniting every nerve ending in your body. As you surrendered to the intoxicating rhythm, your senses heightened, drowning in the taste of tequila on his tongue and the heat of his skin against yours.
Wade’s hands explored your back, fingers trailing down to the small of your waist, urging you closer still. You were lost in the moment, every kiss pulling you deeper into a haze of desire, the rest of the world fading away as you became completely absorbed in him.
Logan watched, his jaw tightening, a hint of jealousy flashing in his eyes as he clenched his fists. The sight of you and Wade together stirred something primal within him, an urge to claim and protect what was his. Just as you felt yourself getting swept away in the moment, Logan broke the kiss, pulling you back just enough to gain your attention.
“Hey, wait a minute,” he interjected, his voice low and slightly gravelly, thick with suppressed desire. “If we’re doing this, I want in too.”
Wade’s grin widened, reveling in the tension. “There we go! Just needed a little nudge, huh, Logan?” He winked at you before turning back to Logan, eyes alight with playful challenge. “What do you say, sweetheart? Are you ready to let us show you just how fun a little teamwork can be?”
You looked between the two of them, heart racing as the gravity of the moment sank in. The room pulsed with electricity, anticipation crackling in the air, and you could feel their shared excitement wrapping around you, igniting a fire deep within. The heat between the three of you was palpable, a magnetic force pulling you closer, urging you to take the plunge into the night’s reckless possibilities.
“Yeah,” you breathed, the word hanging in the air like an unspoken promise. The desire washed over you, emboldening you to act on the wild impulse burning inside. “I want both of you.”
With those words, something shifted in the room. Wade's grin widened, a predatory gleam in his eyes as he leaned closer, but you felt the need to bridge the distance between you and Logan. Fueled by a rush of courage, you turned to him, the intensity of your gaze locking onto his.
You reached out, grabbing the front of Logan’s shirt, feeling the rough fabric beneath your fingers as you pulled him toward you. His eyes widened in surprise, but before he could process the sudden movement, you closed the distance, capturing his lips with yours. The kiss was electric, a jolt of desire that sent shockwaves through you both.
Logan responded immediately, his hands finding your hips as he deepened the kiss, his lips moving against yours with a passionate urgency. The taste of him was intoxicating—deep, rich, and entirely intoxicating—as you lost yourself in the moment. You could feel Wade's presence beside you, the heat radiating off him as he watched, his breath quickening in anticipation.
As the kiss broke, Logan’s eyes darkened with lust, the hesitant edge fading away, replaced by a fierce hunger. Wade smirked, his gaze flicking between you and Logan, clearly enjoying the show.
“See? Told you it’d be fun,” Wade teased, his voice thick with desire. “Now let’s not waste any more time, yeah?”
With that, he took your hand, giving it a gentle tug, urging you toward the dimly lit hallway that led to the bedroom. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement, each step sending waves of anticipation coursing through you. You glanced back at Logan, his expression a mix of intensity and eagerness, and you felt your pulse quicken.
Wade led the way, the low light casting shadows that danced across the walls, creating an intimate ambiance. As you entered the bedroom, you were met with a sight that made your breath hitch—a large, inviting bed adorned with rumpled sheets, promising comfort and indulgence.
Wade turned to you, his eyes gleaming with mischief as he took a step back, creating space for Logan to join you. “What do you think, sweetheart? Ready to get a little wild?”
Logan stepped closer, his expression fierce yet playful. “You’re going to love it,” he murmured, his voice low and sultry, sending shivers down your spine.
You nodded, feeling the heat radiate off both of them, your skin tingling with anticipation. The air was thick with lust as Wade moved to the side, allowing Logan to take the lead. He stepped forward, brushing a stray hair from your face, his touch gentle yet electric.
“Let me show you how much I want you,” he whispered, his breath warm against your ear. You shivered at his words, a thrill racing down your spine as a wave of desire washed over you. Without giving you a chance to respond, he captured your lips again, the urgency in his movement sending your heart racing.
The kiss was desperate, a collision of need and hunger that took your breath away. Logan's mouth moved against yours with an intoxicating fervor, his lips brushing and teasing in a way that ignited a fire deep within you. You melted against him, losing yourself in the warmth of his body and the intensity of his kiss.
His hands found their way to your hair, fingers tangling in the strands as he pulled you closer, deepening the kiss. Each touch was electric, sending shocks of pleasure coursing through your veins, and you could feel the heat radiating off him, intensifying the connection between you. The world around you blurred as you surrendered to the moment, the only thing that mattered was the desperate need that surged between you.
Logan’s tongue flicked against your bottom lip, a playful invitation that sent a thrill of anticipation through you. You opened to him willingly, your senses exploding as his tongue slid against yours. The kiss became a dance of desire, each movement coaxing forth moans that escaped your lips, the sounds mingling with the intoxicating rhythm of your racing hearts.
Just as the kiss deepened, Wade finally decided to join in, sliding closer to the two of you. His fingers found your waist, joining Logan’s as he pulled you between them, creating a delicious tension that sent shivers down your spine. You could feel their bodies pressing against you, the heat radiating off them igniting every nerve in your body as they exchanged glances filled with unspoken promises, amplifying the heady mix of lust and longing that filled the air.
“You’re the center of our attention now,” Wade said, his voice a husky whisper, his breath ghosting over your skin. He leaned in, his lips trailing soft kisses along your neck, while Logan's hands began to explore your body, fingers skimming over your sides, igniting every nerve ending.
The sensation of both their mouths on you sent a rush of pleasure through your body. You moaned softly, leaning into their touch, craving more of their heat and intensity. As their lips and hands roamed, you could feel the tension building inside you, a potent mix of anticipation and desire.
“Let’s take this to the bed,” Logan said, his voice low and commanding. The intensity of his gaze made your heart race even faster.
With a shared look of agreement, Wade and Logan gently guided you to the bed, their hands intertwining with yours as they lowered you onto the soft sheets. The world around you seemed to blur, the only thing that mattered was the overwhelming need that simmered in the air, ready to be unleashed.
As you reclined against the pillows, they positioned themselves on either side of you, their bodies a perfect contrast of warmth and strength. Wade leaned in closer, a playful smirk still on his lips. “Let’s give you a night to remember, shall we?”
You could hardly contain the excitement bubbling within you as you surrendered to the moment, anticipation electrifying the air around you. Wade’s playful smirk deepened as he leaned closer, his lips brushing against your ear, sending shivers down your spine. “I promise you’re going to enjoy this,” he whispered, his voice thick with desire.
Logan’s gaze was intense, a mix of heat and determination, as he watched the two of you. He moved in closer, his presence radiating strength as he trailed his fingers along your arm, leaving a path of warmth in their wake. “Just relax and let us take care of you,” he murmured, his tone low and soothing, yet filled with an underlying hunger that made your pulse race even faster.
Wade captured your attention once more, his eyes glinting with mischief. “First things first,” he said, leaning in to plant soft kisses along your neck, his lips warm against your skin. Each kiss ignited a flame of desire, and you felt your breath hitch as he continued to explore, nipping playfully at your collarbone.
Logan watched, his own desire palpable, but he was still a force of controlled power. He reached out, gently cupping your chin and tilting your head back to expose more of your throat to Wade’s teasing kisses. “You’re beautiful,” he breathed, his gaze roaming over you as if committing every detail to memory.
As Wade’s lips traveled lower, your breath quickened, the heat pooling in your core. Logan’s fingers tightened slightly on your chin, a possessive but tender gesture that made your heart race. The combination of Wade’s teasing kisses and Logan’s smoldering gaze had you spinning in a delicious whirl of desire.
“Just let go,” Logan urged, his voice low and seductive. “We’re here to take care of you.”
With that, Wade’s mouth found yours again, a mix of sweetness and urgency. His hands roamed your sides, fingers trailing under your shirt as he deepened the kiss. You surrendered to the moment, losing yourself in the intoxicating blend of their touches, the taste of Wade on your lips, and the warmth radiating from Logan beside you.
As Wade’s hands explored your body, Logan leaned in closer, brushing his lips against your ear. “You want this, don’t you?” he murmured, his breath hot against your skin. The heat of his words sent a shiver of excitement through you, and you nodded, barely able to form a coherent response.
Wade chuckled softly, pulling back just enough to meet your gaze. “Good. Because we’re going to make this unforgettable.” His mischievous grin widened as he turned to Logan. “Ready to show her what we’ve got?”
Logan’s eyes darkened with lust, the hint of a smile playing on his lips. “Always,” he replied, his voice thick with desire.
“Let’s get started then,” Wade said, his voice a low growl filled with anticipation. He shifted, pushing you back against the soft sheets, his weight pressing down on you in a deliciously possessive way. You could feel the heat radiating off his body, and your pulse raced at the thrill of being caught between him and Logan.
Logan leaned over you, his gaze intense as he ran a hand down your thigh, fingertips grazing your skin with a teasing slowness. “You ready for us?” he asked, his voice a low rumble that sent shivers down your spine.
“Yeah,” you breathed, the heat pooling in your core as both men loomed over you, each of them radiating raw power and desire.
“Good,” Wade said, flashing you a cocky grin before leaning in to kiss you deeply again. His tongue danced with yours, a frantic rhythm that matched the pounding of your heart. You could taste the tequila on his lips, and it only heightened your desire.
As Wade’s kisses grew more demanding, Logan’s hands began to explore your body more boldly. He pushed your clothing up, exposing your skin to the cool air, and his mouth descended to your breast, leaving a trail of heat in his wake. “So fucking beautiful,” he murmured against your skin before capturing your nipple between his lips, sucking and teasing with a fervor that made you gasp.
“Don’t forget about me,” Wade teased, pulling back to watch Logan’s ministrations. He gripped your chin, tilting your face to meet his gaze. “You’re going to want more than just that, sweetheart.”
“Yeah?” you panted, feeling utterly overwhelmed by their combined attention.
“Yeah,” Wade growled, his voice dropping an octave. “You want to feel us filling you up, don’t you?”
You could only nod, lost in the haze of lust, the words igniting a fire deep within you.
Logan glanced at Wade, a wicked grin spreading across his face. “Let’s give her what she wants, then.”
“Yeah,” Wade growled, his voice dropping an octave. “You want to feel us filling you up, don’t you?”
You could only nod, lost in the haze of lust, the words igniting a fire deep within you. The anticipation felt like a live wire, crackling in the air around you.
Logan glanced at Wade, a wicked grin spreading across his face. “Let’s give her what she wants, then.”
With that, Wade leaned closer, his lips brushing against your ear as he whispered, “But first, we need to tease you a little more.” The playful glint in his eyes promised mischief, and your heart raced in response.
Logan chuckled, moving closer to you. He leaned in, his breath warm against your neck. “You know what’s coming, don’t you?” His lips trailed a path down your collarbone, his tongue flicking out to taste your skin. “We’re going to make you beg for it.”
Wade chuckled softly, shifting to kneel between your legs. “And trust me, sweetheart, you won’t be able to hold back.” His hands slid up your thighs, his fingertips brushing against the hem of your shorts, teasing and tantalizing.
“Please,” you breathed, your body responding to their every touch, every whispered promise. “I need more.”
“More?” Wade echoed, his smirk widening. “You’ve got to earn it first. Show us how much you want it.”
With a wicked grin, Logan leaned over you, his eyes dark with lust. “Let’s see you squirm, babe. Let us know what you like.”
Wade’s fingers finally slipped beneath your shorts, teasingly skimming over your slick folds. You gasped, arching your back against the sheets as he rubbed slow circles around your clit. “Look at you, all ready for us. You’re soaking wet,” he purred, his voice low and sultry.
Logan’s gaze was fixed on your reaction, his hand moving to cup your face, tilting it so you could see the heat in his eyes. “You like that, don’t you? Just imagine what’s coming next.”
You nodded, your breath coming in ragged gasps as Wade’s fingers worked their magic, each stroke sending waves of pleasure coursing through your body. “Wade, please,” you begged, desperate for more.
“Please what?” he teased, his voice dripping with playful condescension. “Tell me what you want.”
“I want you both,” you gasped, the words tumbling from your lips as the heat of your desire consumed you.
“Both of us, huh?” Logan said, a deep chuckle escaping his lips. He leaned down, capturing your mouth with his in a fierce kiss that sent your senses reeling. The taste of him was intoxicating, and you melted against him as Wade continued his teasing, fingers sliding deeper, curling to hit that spot inside you that made you see stars.
“Damn, you’re tight,” Wade groaned, his thumb working your clit as he felt your body tighten around his fingers. “I can’t wait to stretch you out.”
“Just wait until we’re both inside you,” Logan murmured against your lips, his hands sliding down to grip your hips, anchoring you in place as Wade pushed you closer to the edge. “You’re going to love every second of it.”
Just as you felt yourself teetering on the brink of ecstasy, Wade suddenly pulled his fingers away, leaving you gasping in frustration. “Not yet,” he teased, a wicked grin spreading across his face. “We’ve got to make this last.”
You groaned, frustration and desire battling within you as Wade positioned himself between your legs, his broad shoulders blocking out the light. “Ready for me, sweetheart?” he asked, his voice thick with lust.
“Yes, please,” you begged, desperation lacing your tone.
“Good,” he replied, his eyes sparkling with mischief. He slowly pushed inside you, stretching you deliciously as he filled you completely. You gasped, your body instinctively arching against him, seeking more of that intoxicating sensation. “Look at that—she’s taking me so well,” he murmured, a low growl escaping his lips as he reveled in the feeling of your warmth enveloping him.
With each inch he buried deep inside you, a delicious heat spread through your core, igniting every nerve ending. You felt full, perfectly filled to the brim, the sensation overwhelming yet exquisite. Your breaths quickened, turning into soft whimpers as Wade began to thrust, each movement precise and powerful, pushing you further into a blissful state of ecstasy.
“Damn, you’re so tight,” he groaned, his hands gripping your thighs, pulling you even closer as he set a relentless pace. The sound of skin meeting skin echoed around the room, punctuated by the desperate moans escaping your lips. Each thrust made you feel like you were soaring, riding the waves of pleasure that crashed over you.
Logan watched intently, his gaze filled with a primal hunger. He leaned in closer, his breath hot against your ear. “You like that, don’t you?” he whispered, his voice thick with desire. “You want to feel every inch of him, don’t you?”
You could only nod, lost in the intoxicating rhythm Wade had established, your body responding to him instinctively. “Please… more,” you gasped, each thrust igniting a fire within you that threatened to consume you whole.
Wade’s smirk widened as he quickened his pace, the intensity of his movements pushing you closer to the edge. “That’s it. Let us hear how much you want it,” he urged, his voice low and teasing, spurring you on.
“Wade,” you moaned, the sensation of him filling you making it hard to think straight. Your voice trembled with need, each word a plea for more. Suddenly, Logan slid closer, his eyes darkened with lust.
“Why don’t you show me how much you want this?” he encouraged, tilting your chin up with a firm but gentle grip. “I want to see you swallow me whole while he fills you up. Show me just how desperate you are.”
Without hesitation, you complied, shifting your position slightly to take Logan’s length into your mouth. The moment your lips wrapped around him, a delicious thrill shot through you, igniting every nerve ending. You could feel the weight of him pressing against your tongue, and you moaned around him, the sound vibrating against his cock, sending a surge of excitement coursing through both of you.
“Fuck, yes,” Logan breathed, his hands tangling in your hair, holding you in place as he guided you deeper. You could feel the heat radiating from him, pulsing with the need to be inside you. “Just like that, sweetheart. I want to see you take me all the way down your pretty little throat.”
The command in his voice made you shiver, and you instinctively pressed your lips tighter around him, taking him deeper as your body began to instinctively move in rhythm. You could feel Wade thrusting into you, the combination of the two sensations sending you spiraling further into ecstasy.
As you worked your mouth up and down Logan’s length, your throat tightening around him, he let out a low groan, his fingers tightening in your hair as he guided your movements. “You’re such a good girl, taking me so well,” he murmured, his voice rough with desire. “I love watching you struggle to take it all.”
The heat from his words fueled your urgency, and you pushed yourself to take him even deeper, feeling your throat stretch around him. The sensation was dizzying, mixing with the fullness of Wade deep inside you. The way they were using you, the way they were watching you, made your head spin, your body alive with desire.
“Look at you,” Wade growled, his voice low and sultry as he watched the two of you. “You’re making a mess, sweetheart. I love how you can’t get enough of him while I’m filling you up.”
You could feel the tension in the air building, the way both of them were lost in the moment, completely absorbed by the sight of you. Every thrust from Wade sent shockwaves through your body, each push deeper driving you closer to the edge.
“More,” you gasped around Logan, your breath hot and needy against his skin. “I want more. I need more.”
“God, you’re insatiable,” Logan chuckled, his voice thick with lust. “But I’m not complaining. Just let me know when you’re ready for me to take control.”
With that, you redoubled your efforts, swirling your tongue around his shaft, taking him deeper and deeper until your gag reflex kicked in, forcing a strangled moan from your lips. The sound only seemed to heighten the heat in the room, the combined arousal palpable as Wade thrust into you, filling you completely while you took Logan’s length to the hilt.
“Just like that,” Logan groaned, his fingers tightening in your hair. “You’re such a good little slut for us. Take it all, baby. I want to feel you choke on me.”
You could feel the pressure building inside you, both from the relentless thrusting of Wade and the pleasure of Logan’s cock hitting the back of your throat. Your heart raced, and each muffled moan escaped your lips as you surrendered completely to the sensations, your body becoming a perfect vessel for their pleasure.
“Fuck, you’re perfect,” Wade breathed, his voice heavy with lust. “You’re so fucking hot like this.”
With each passing moment, you felt more and more alive, the heat of their bodies and the way they pushed you to your limits blending into one overwhelming sensation of ecstasy. The room pulsed with your combined breaths, the air thick with the scent of sweat and desire, creating an intoxicating atmosphere that made your heart race.
As Logan thrust into you, deep and relentless, you could feel Wade’s hands gripping your hips, positioning you just right as he moved behind you. You glanced back at him, and the wicked grin on his face ignited a new wave of excitement within you. “Let’s do this right, babe,” he teased, playfully nudging Logan. “How about we show her just how much fun we can have?”
With expert precision, they adjusted your bodies, arranging you so that you were no longer straining your neck to the side and you were comfortably positioned between them on your hands and knees, back arching as you faced Logan. You felt the familiar pressure of Wade against you as he slid deep inside, positioning you perfectly for the deliciously intimate arrangement. You kissed the precum off Logan’s slit before opening your mouth to take him back in, your lips wrapping around him once more as Wade thrust into you.
“God, you’re so fucking tight,” Wade growled, his breath hot against your skin. The sensation of both of them filled you to the brim, and you couldn’t help but moan around Logan’s length, your throat tightening around him as you surrendered to the rhythm.
Logan’s hands tangled in your hair, guiding you deeper onto him. “Just like that, sweetheart,” he encouraged, his voice a low rumble of pleasure. “Take him while I fill you up. You’re doing so well.”
With each thrust, Wade hit that perfect spot deep inside you, his movements becoming more frantic as your body responded eagerly to their every touch. “Fuck, you’re making me lose my mind,” he panted, his hips driving harder, the sound of skin slapping against skin filling the air.
As you moved your mouth up and down Logan’s length, your tongue swirling around him with every pull, you could feel the pressure building within you, a delicious tightness coiling deep in your core. The sensations were dizzying, each thrust sending you closer to the edge. The air felt electric, every breath a gasp, every moan a plea for more.
“Damn, you’re incredible,” Logan gasped, his eyes dark with lust as he watched you. “You look so fucking beautiful like this.”
Wade leaned in closer, positioning himself so that his thrusts became more intense. “I bet you’re ready for more, huh? What do you think about me playing with that tight little ass of yours?” His voice dripped with playful temptation, and you could feel your body respond instinctively to his words.
“Please,” you gasped around Logan, the thought of being filled by both of them driving you wild. “I want it. I want you both.”
Wade let out a low chuckle, the sound sending a thrill through you. “That’s my girl. Just remember to breathe,” he murmured, thrusting harder as he teased the idea of exploring that part of you.
As the three of you continued to move together, the world around you faded into a blur of sensation. With each thrust from Wade, you could feel Logan’s length hitting the back of your throat, the combination driving you closer and closer to that sweet release. The intensity was overwhelming, and you lost yourself in the rhythm, your body responding to their every command, every whispered promise.
“Don’t hold back, babe,” Logan urged, his voice hoarse. “Let go. We’re right there with you.”
The pressure built, your body humming with pleasure, and just as you thought you might explode, you felt Wade thrust deeper, filling you completely as he found his own release. “Fucking hell, I’m coming!” he groaned, his grip tightening on your hips as he buried himself deep, pulsing inside you.
With the sensation of Wade’s orgasm flooding you, it pushed you over the edge. “Logan, I’m—” you gasped, the heat of your release washing over you as you surrendered completely to the wave of pleasure.
“Now, baby, let it go,” Logan encouraged, his own release building as he watched you fall apart. “I want to see you come while you swallow me whole.”
His words sent you spiraling even further, and you moaned around him as your body quaked, the intensity of the moment flooding through you.
As your body trembled with the overwhelming surge of pleasure, Logan’s deep, husky voice pulled you back into the moment. “That’s it, sweetheart,” he groaned, his words like molten heat pouring into you. With Wade's final, powerful thrusts driving into you from behind, the sensation was enough to send you spiraling into ecstasy. Your body tightened around Wade, your walls pulsing as your orgasm tore through you, leaving you breathless and shattered.
Wade groaned low in your ear, his hips driving deeper as he chased his own release. “Goddamn, you feel so good, taking all of me,” he growled, his grip bruising as he held you in place. And then, with a few more erratic thrusts, he buried himself inside you, his cock twitching as he released deep within you, flooding your core with warmth.
“Fuck, that’s it, take all of it,” Wade panted, his fingers digging into your hips, holding you steady as he rode out his climax. You could feel him pulsing inside you, his breath ragged as he collapsed against your back for just a moment before straightening up, eyes gleaming with satisfaction.
At the same time, Logan’s hands tightened in your hair, guiding your head down further onto his length. “Look at you, so fucking beautiful like this,” he rasped, his cock twitching as he reached the edge. “Now swallow me down, baby. I want to feel that throat.”
The combination of Wade’s release inside you and Logan’s rough command sent you spiraling even further into bliss. You moaned around Logan’s cock, the vibration making him shudder, and with one final thrust, he spilled into your mouth. His taste flooded your senses, and you swallowed eagerly, the feeling of his thick release sliding down your throat as you milked every last drop from him.
“Fuck yes,” Logan groaned, watching with darkened eyes as you swallowed him down, his grip on your hair loosening slightly, a satisfied growl rumbling deep in his chest. You felt his body tremble as he came undone, his hips rocking forward gently as you took him fully, your lips sealed around him until there was nothing left to give.
Both of their releases left you utterly spent, your body trembling as you collapsed against the bed, your legs still weak from the intensity of your own climax. The aftershocks of pleasure rippled through you, and for a moment, the room was filled with nothing but the sound of labored breathing, the three of you basking in the aftermath of what had just transpired.
Wade was the first to break the silence, a playful smirk tugging at his lips as he caught his breath. “You’re fucking unreal, you know that?” he teased, his voice thick with satisfaction. His fingers gently traced the curve of your spine, sending shivers through you even in your blissed-out state. “But… I think there’s still something we haven’t explored yet, don’t you?”
Logan raised an eyebrow at Wade’s suggestive tone, his eyes flicking g down to where you still lay, spent but clearly eager for more. “What are you thinking?” Logan asked, his voice rough but intrigued.
Wade grinned, his eyes glinting with that familiar mischief. “I think it’s time we see how well she can handle something… a little different,” he purred, his hand sliding down to your ass, squeezing it gently before tracing a teasing line lower. “What do you say, sweetheart? You up for a little more fun?”
You glanced back at Wade, your pulse quickening at the suggestion, your body still thrumming with pleasure but hungry for more. Logan’s gaze followed Wade’s movements, his own arousal stirring again as he considered the next step.
“You sure you can take it?” Wade murmured, his fingers tracing circles over your skin, toying with the idea of something new. The heat of their combined gazes sent a fresh wave of desire coursing through you, and despite your spent state, you found yourself nodding, ready to surrender again.
“I want it,” you whispered, your voice breathy but filled with need. “Please.”
Wade’s grin deepened at your breathy plea, his eyes glinting with excitement. “That’s my girl,” he murmured, leaning in to press a searing kiss to your lips before pulling back to get into position. His hands roamed down your body, lingering over your hips, squeezing firmly before his fingers trailed lower, teasing the sensitive skin between your legs.
Logan, never one to wait long, had already shifted behind you, his large hands sliding over your waist, steadying you as he guided your body onto all fours. You felt the firm press of his cock nudging at your entrance, and despite how thoroughly they’d already worked you over, a fresh jolt of desire shot through you.
“Hold still, sweetheart,” Logan growled, his voice a gravelly command that made your pulse race. Without wasting any more time, he pushed into you, his thick length sliding in easily, your body still slick and stretched from Wade’s earlier attention. The sensation of being filled again was overwhelming, your walls clenching around Logan as he set a rough, demanding pace, his hips snapping against yours with each deep thrust.
“Fuck, you feel incredible,” Logan groaned, his hands gripping your hips hard enough to leave bruises. His thrusts were powerful, precise, each one hitting that perfect spot inside you that made your back arch and your breath hitch in your throat.
Just when you thought you couldn’t handle more, Wade’s fingers slid lower, dipping between your cheeks as he teased you further. “Relax, sweetheart,” he murmured, pressing a finger slowly against your tight entrance, testing your limits. “I’m going to make sure you feel this everywhere.”
You moaned at the dual sensation, your body caught between the relentless thrusts of Logan and the teasing pressure of Wade’s fingers. Wade took his time, carefully stretching you, his touch firm but gentle, coaxing your body to relax and open up for him. Each stroke of his finger sent a shiver up your spine, heightening the pleasure as Logan continued to pound into you from behind.
Logan’s breathing grew ragged, his grip tightening on your hips as he leaned over, his lips brushing the shell of your ear. “You’re so fucking tight,” he growled, his voice hoarse with arousal. “I can feel you clenching around me, babe. You like this, don’t you?”
“Yes,” you gasped, barely able to form words as waves of pleasure washed over you. Logan’s cock stretched you perfectly, filling you with each hard thrust, while Wade’s fingers teased you mercilessly, edging you closer and closer to the brink.
“Good girl,” Wade praised, his voice low and seductive. “You’re going to be so fucking full in a minute.” He added a second finger, pushing deeper, stretching you further as your body trembled beneath them. The sensation of being filled in both places was almost too much to bear, and yet you craved more—needed more.
Logan’s thrusts grew more erratic, his pace quickening as he chased his own release. “Goddamn, I’m close,” he groaned, his hands gripping your hips hard as he drove into you. “I want to feel you come on my cock, sweetheart.”
Wade’s fingers kept working you, pushing you closer to the edge with every stroke. “You hear that?” Wade whispered, his breath hot against your neck. “He wants you to come. Give it to him, baby. Let us see you fall apart.”
The combination of their voices, their touch, and the overwhelming sensation of being filled was enough to send you spiraling. Your body tightened, every nerve on fire as the pleasure built to a fever pitch. “I’m—” you gasped, barely able to get the words out as your body clenched around Logan, your orgasm crashing over you with a force that left you trembling.
Logan groaned as he felt you tighten around him, his pace faltering for a moment as he fought to hold on, but it was too much. With one final thrust, he buried himself deep inside you, his release hitting you in hot, powerful waves. His grip on your hips never faltered, holding you steady as he pulsed inside you, riding out his own climax.
You were barely recovering from the overwhelming pleasure the positioning shifted as Logan laid on his back beside you, and pulled you down to straddle him, your chest pressing against his as his large hands gripped your hips. His hard length was already lined up beneath you, pressing insistently against your dripping core as Wade moved in behind. Logan guided you with a firm grip, his eyes dark with lust as you sank onto his cock, the thickness stretching you perfectly. Your moan echoed through the room as your body adjusted to the size of him, each inch filling you completely.
With Logan buried deep inside you and Wade positioning himself behind, you felt a rush of anticipation flood your senses. You were on all fours now, your arms braced against Logan’s broad chest while his hands roamed your body, his fingertips igniting sparks across your skin.
“Ready to be filled to the brim, sweetheart?” Wade growled, his voice dripping with lust. You could barely nod, breathless with need, every nerve ending alive with the delicious tension that hung in the air.
Wade pressed his cock against your slick entrance, the warmth of him sending a shiver down your spine. “Just relax,” he urged, his breath hot against your shoulder. “We’ll take care of you.”
He pushed into you slowly, filling you completely, and you gasped at the overwhelming sensation. The stretch was exquisite, every inch of him driving you closer to the edge as he bottomed out inside you. “Oh my God,” you moaned, the pleasure dizzying as he moved.
“Fuck, you’re so tight,” Wade groaned, his hands gripping your waist. The weight of their bodies enveloped you, igniting a fire deep within. Logan’s hands gripped your ass, guiding your movements as Wade thrust deeper, each stroke sending shockwaves of ecstasy coursing through you.
“Can’t—can’t think,” you breathed, lost in the sensation, your mind clouded by desire. “So full… s-so good.”
Logan’s voice was a low growl beneath you, filled with raw hunger. “You’re taking it so well, sweetheart,” he murmured, his hands urging you to move in sync with Wade. “Look at you, completely lost in it.”
Wade’s thrusts became more urgent, his cock filling you with a delicious intensity. “You like this, don’t you?” he teased, his voice dripping with playful dominance. “Cock drunk already?”
“Yes!” you gasped, the overwhelming sensations pushing you to the brink. “More—please, don’t stop! I want more!”
Wade chuckled darkly, the sound reverberating through your body. “We’re not stopping, baby. Not until we’ve completely wrecked you.” His grip on your waist tightened, and he thrust forward with renewed vigor, each movement forcing you to gasp and moan, lost in the pleasure of it all.
Logan’s hands were everywhere, exploring your curves as he thrust deeper, his voice rough with desire. “You’re ours tonight, sweetheart. We’re gonna fuck you until you can’t think straight. Just let go and enjoy it.”
Your head swam with pleasure, the pressure building inside you as they worked you over in perfect harmony. “I can’t—oh God, it’s too much!” you cried, feeling the waves of ecstasy threatening to wash over you.
“Good girl,” Logan encouraged, thrusting up into you, matching Wade’s relentless rhythm. “Just let go. Let us take you apart.”
The heat between your legs surged, each thrust driving you closer to that sweet release. You could feel the world fading away, leaving only the raw, intoxicating sensations of pleasure as they continued to fill you, pushing you toward the edge with every movement.
“Just let go, sweetheart,” Wade murmured, his voice low and dripping with desire. His hands gripped your hips, guiding you to meet his thrusts, driving you wild with every relentless push. “You’re so close. Can you feel it?”
Your body responded instinctively, muscles tightening around them as you spiraled higher, a delicious tension coiling deep within you. The sensation was overwhelming, an intoxicating blend of pleasure and need, and you couldn’t hold back any longer. “I-I can’t… I’m—”
“Good girl,” Logan urged, his voice like gravel against your ear as he leaned forward, his breath hot against your neck. “You’re doing so well. Let it happen. We’ve got you.”
The heat surged between your legs, igniting a fire that burned bright and fierce. As they continued their relentless rhythm, it felt as if the world around you blurred, leaving only the intoxicating pleasure coursing through your veins. With a final thrust from both men, the dam inside you broke.
“Wade! Logan!” you cried out, your body quaking as the liquid heat of your release flooded over you, spilling out and soaking both of them. The waves of ecstasy crashed over you, leaving you breathless, every nerve ending alight with the aftershocks of your climax.
“Fuck, that’s it!” Wade groaned, his eyes wide with pleasure as he felt you tighten around him. “You’re perfect, just perfect.” He followed you into oblivion, spilling himself deep within you, his warmth mixing with yours.
Logan wasn’t far behind, his thrusts becoming erratic as he joined you in your sweet release. “God, you’re so tight,” he grunted, burying himself deep as he let go, filling you completely. The sensation of both men coming undone inside you sent another wave of pleasure crashing over your senses, pushing you into an exquisite haze.
As the intensity faded, you collapsed against them, breathing heavily, the aftershocks still coursing through you. Logan and Wade wrapped their arms around you, holding you close as your heart raced.
“Hey, you okay?” Wade asked softly, brushing a damp strand of hair from your face, his eyes filled with genuine concern.
“Yeah… just give me a minute,” you replied, your voice still breathy and dazed.
“You did so well, babe,” Logan whispered, planting soft kisses along your shoulder. “We’re proud of you.”
They continued to hold you, their bodies radiating warmth as they pulled you into a cocoon of safety and care. You could feel their heartbeats steadying, matching the rhythm of your own as they whispered sweet nothings and gentle reassurances, reminding you of the bond you shared.
“Let’s take care of you now,” Wade said, his tone shifting to something tender as he grabbed a soft blanket from nearby, wrapping it around you both. “You deserve to be pampered after that.”
“Exactly,” Logan added, his voice low and soothing. “We’ve got you. Just relax.”
As they took turns kissing you softly, tracing gentle patterns on your skin, the world around you faded away. You felt cherished and adored, completely enveloped in their warmth. The lingering sensations from your shared release still danced through you, and in that moment, you knew you were exactly where you belonged.

Ring ran alongside me as I started chasing after the kidnapper.
Kate: Ring!? Weren't you going to seek Darius’ decision—
Ring: That’s what I thought at first. But… I can’t just let my l-lo-lover run head first into danger alone.
Ring: I’m coming with you. … Can’t I?
Kate: That’d be reassuring!
We found ourselves at an old, rundown clinic.
It appeared that the man had gone to another room, as he was nowhere in sight.
Ring: There are some documents here. The English used is too complicated for me, can you read them?
Kate: Got it. … The cover says “Research Report”.
— The documents hinted at the man’s motives for his serial kidnappings.
The man had a daughter who suffered from a heart condition.
Believing that the only way for her to survive this condition was to have her heart replaced, he began abducting children close to her age, intending to replace her heart with one of theirs.
(These are records of his research…)
Ring: Even here, children are being used as human lab rats for experiments…
Kate: The child who was just abducted should still be safe. Let's find her!
There were several rooms in the clinic, so we decided to split up and look for the girl.
Not long after parting ways with Ring, I found the girl bound up in a storage room.
Kidnapped Girl: Who are you…?
Kate: I’m here to save you. You’re alright now…!
I began desperately untying the ropes.
However, the man found us while I was doing so.
Kidnapper: What are you doing!?
Kate: … P-please, listen to me!
I stood protectively in front of the girl and faced the man directly.
Kidnapper: What’s there to talk about? Give me “my daughter's heart” now!
The man was so broken that he no longer saw the abducted child as a human being, but as nothing more than a heart.
Kate: I know about your daughter's illness, and I’m sure it must’ve been so hard on you.
Kate: But… this child is someone’s family member too. She’s a precious person they can’t bear to lose.
Kidnapper: That’s…
His eyes shook, the remnants of his conscience seemed to be stopping him from going any further with his crime.
But at that very moment—
Kidnapper: Ah… ggh!
The man groaned, blood suddenly spurted out of his mouth.
Kate: What…?
I looked and saw a sharp sword pierced through the man’s body from behind.
At the same time the sword was pulled out, the man collapsed.
Ring: That was close.
It was Ring who approached the man from behind and stabbed his sword right through him.
The man laid motionlessly in a pool of his own blood, anyone could tell at a glance that he was dead.
Tumblr media
Kate: Why did you… kill him…?
Ring: “Why”...? Isn’t it natural?
Ring: I’ll kill anyone Dari orders me to.
His face, splattered with blood, showed not even the slightest bit of doubt about the murder he just committed.
It was at that moment when I finally realised it.
He, too— was utterly evil.
Ring: Before we went for our date today, Dari told me to eliminate anyone who poses as a threat to you without hesitation.
If something were to happen to me while we were out together, it would undoubtedly strain the relationship between Crown and Vogel.
Darius’ words may have been extreme, but they weren't wrong.
(But…)
Kate: He was going to stop with his crimes. There was no reason to kill him…
Ring: That’s not for me to decide. Dari’s orders are absolute.
He stated matter-of-factly with unwavering determination.
Just then—
Kidnapped Girl: UWAAAAAAHH!!
The girl, likely overwhelmed by everything that had just happened before her eyes, started crying uncontrollably.
Kate: I-I’m so sorry. That must've scared you…!
I frantically patted her back to console her, but the tears didn't stop.
Ring: … Let me hold her hand. Maybe I can stop her tears.
Ring hesitantly offered and held the girl’s hand in his.
As soon as he did that, the girl stopped crying in an instant and her expression became calm.
Not long after the girl calmed down, members of Crown arrived at the scene.
Apparently, Liam felt something was off when Ring and I didn't show up at The Scala. He suspected we might’ve gotten involved in an incident and came looking for us.
Leaving them to clean up the aftermath, Ring and I made our way back.
He revealed something to me while we walked.
Ring: I have the ability to turn someone’s emotions into joy by holding their hand.
Kate: So that’s why the girl stopped crying so quickly.
Ring: Yeah. … The incident had to be dealt with discreetly because I killed the culprit.
Ring: Had she kept on crying, a passerby might hear her and step in…
Ring: It’s good I managed to calm her down with my ability.
Kate: I think resolving the situation peacefully wasn't the only good thing.
Ring: …?
Kate: The girl was kidnapped and witnessed a person being killed right in front of her… it was understandable for her to panic.
Kate: But you calmed her down and made her feel safe, so I think she’ll be okay after all that's happened.
Kate: You have a wonderful ability that brings smiles to people's faces.
Tumblr media
Ring: … (surprised)
Ring: I’ve already almost forgotten… that my ability could make people smile.
(Come to think of it, Ring’s actions are always firm when it comes to following Darius’ orders.)
His reasons for pretending to be my lover, for chasing after the kidnapper with me, and for killing said kidnapper… were all because Darius ordered him to.
(But when he praised my outfit and stopped the little girl’s tears… those came from Ring himself.)
(Whenever Ring acted on his own judgment of the situation, he would be lacking in confidence.)
— It’s as though Ring is nothing more than a puppet being controlled by Darius.
(For now, it seems that Ring’s opinions align with Darius’ and that's alright, but…)
(If Darius and Ring’s opinions were to clash someday…)
(... I’m worried that Ring will end up disregarding his own.)
Ring was someone with a warm and gentle heart who cares about others. It felt like a waste for  him to ignore his personal feelings and opinions.
Ring: By the way… there’s something I’ve been wanting to ask you.
Kate: …? Go ahead, you can ask me anything!
Ring: Did you chase after the kidnapper because it was your duty as a member of Crown?
Ring: You lack physical strength, and I don't think you’re used to being in risky situations either.
Ring: If you’re being forced to put yourself in harm’s way… wouldn't it be better to leave Crown?
(Ring is indeed kindhearted for worrying about this.)
Ring: If you want to leave, I could have Dari pull some strings for you…
Kate: … No, I chased after that criminal because I wanted to.
Kate: It wasn't out of some sort of grand sense of justice… I just didn't want to regret not doing it.
Kate: I didn't want to be the kind of person to turn a blind eye to someone crying out for help.
Ring: … I see. You’re different from me.
Muttering under his breath, Ring looked dazzled as he gazed at me.
A few days after that date… I was summoned by Darius once again.
Darius: Come on, Ring. Isn't there something you want to ask from Miss Fairytale Keeper?
Tumblr media
(Something he wants to ask from me…?)
I tilted my head in confusion as Ring took a step forward, looking visibly nervous.
Ring: I’m asking you out on a date!
His date proposal that sounded more like a request to duel left me standing there wide-eyed in shock.

This Christmas (I'll burn it to the ground)
Tumblr media
Merry Christmas to all of those who love Zombies, Kpop, and MTG as much as I do. (I have been playing to much Dead Island 2) Here's hoping I can pull it all together.
I finally made it to the guesthouse, my boots crunching against the gravel as I pushed the door open. Relief swept over me for a fleeting moment—until I realized I wasn’t alone.
There was someone already there, and she was changing.
The soft rustle of fabric froze me in my tracks. She turned sharply, startled, and our eyes locked. Her wide, expressive eyes—big and doelike—struck me like a thunderbolt. There was something in them, a blend of innocence and unspoken intensity, that made my heart stutter. A weird mix of emotions bubbled up—guilt, curiosity, and something warmer that I couldn’t name but tried to smother immediately.
She was standing there, clad only in a simple bra and panties, her cheeks flushing as my presence registered.
“I—uh—” I stammered, tearing my gaze away as quickly as I could. My hand shot up to shield my face. “Venus told me to come here to cool off. I’m not trying to do anything… improper,” I managed to say, my voice more strained than I liked.
There was a moment of silence, broken only by her shaky, “Okay.”
I backed into the doorway of the next room, needing to give her space and myself some time to calm my racing thoughts. The guesthouse smelled faintly of lavender and wood polish, a strange comfort in the chaotic world we were surviving in. But any solace was shattered when I saw movement at the barbed fence outside.
A zombie was clawing its way through, its grotesque face contorted in hunger. With a sigh, I unsheathed my dagger and slipped out. With a quick slash, the dull squelch of the blade met decayed flesh, and it was over. Cleaning the dagger on the zombie’s tattered shirt, I slipped back inside, shaking off the tension.
The girl was still there.
She had finished changing, now wearing one of Venus’s sundresses. It fit her perfectly, the soft fabric draping over her in a way that felt… natural and unfairly captivating. For a moment, I forgot what I was doing, but I quickly bit my tongue. The last thing I wanted was to make her uncomfortable.
She was watching me, her expression thoughtful, almost calculating. There was no trace of the earlier shyness—just a quiet confidence that seemed to radiate from her now.
“You’re Dinozen, right?” she asked, her voice steady but with a hint of curiosity.
I nodded hesitantly. “Yeah. That’s me.”
She broke into a smile, her lips curling into a smirk that sent an odd shiver down my spine. “I’ve heard stories about you. A slayer from Hel-La with a heart of gold.” Her tone was teasing, but there was something sharper beneath it. “I didn’t expect you to be so… mundane,” she added, her smirk growing.
Her teasing caught me off guard, and I blinked, unsure how to respond. Just like that, the power dynamic shifted.
She stepped closer, her eyes glinting with amusement—and something more. She extended her hand, her movements fluid and deliberate. “I’m Chowon.”
I hesitated for a moment before taking her hand, but instead of shaking it, I pressed my lips to the back of it, the gesture more instinctive than calculated.
Her smile widened, clearly pleased. “Oh,” she said, her voice low and a touch amused, “a ruthless gentleman. I like it.”
There was a spark in her eyes now, one that hinted at danger, playfulness, and intrigue all at once.
Chowon corners me, her lithe fingers brushing against my jawline with an almost teasing delicacy. The sensation sends a spark through me, subtle but undeniable. Before I can react, we tumble onto the couch together. Her movements are graceful, deliberate, and unrelenting as she straddles me, settling herself on top with a kind of predatory poise.
Her lips curve into a mischievous smile. “So, why do they call you Dinozen?” she asks, her voice low and sultry. “Because I don’t actually think that’s your name.”
Our eyes lock, her gaze playful yet searching, and I feel a sudden weight in the air between us. She bats those impossibly long lashes, weaponizing her doe-like eyes with a kind of innocent cruelty. I know I should deflect or say something clever, but I can’t. I’m too drawn in.
I swallow hard before answering. “People like to say I’m like an apex predator—instinctually at the top of the food chain, basking in its state of zen,” I explain, my voice low, barely audible. “My love of dinosaurs made the nickname stick. So… Dinozen.”
Her smile deepens, her teeth catching the faint light. It’s the kind of smile that’s both knowing and inviting. She leans in, closer now, her breath brushing against my lips, and I catch the faint scent of gooseberries and lilac. The fragrance is intoxicating, too perfect to be real, as if she’s wrapped herself in some kind of spell.
But then I see it—a faint bite mark on her shoulder, just peeking out from the neckline of her dress. My gaze lingers for a second too long. She notices, of course. Chowon’s eyes follow mine, and when she meets my gaze again, she’s smiling.
“Oh, you figured it out,” she murmurs, her voice a mix of pride and challenge. “Yes, I’m a slayer like you.”
I blink, taken aback.
She leans closer, her lips brushing against my ear as she whispers, “I was reborn helping my girls get out of New York when the zombies came.”
Her words are heavy, laced with memories and something deeper. A hunger begins to build between us, a feeling I can’t quite name but can’t ignore. It’s electric, primal, and utterly overwhelming. She closes the distance between us, our faces now inches apart.
“Are you in a state of zen?” she whispers, her breath warm and soft against my skin.
Her words feel like a spell. My eyes flutter shut for a moment, and when I open them again, it’s as if something inside me has been unlocked. Or unchained.
I feel it—the shift.
The part of me I’ve spent so long burying, controlling, suppressing—it rises to the surface, clawing its way free. Imperio Rex. The name feels like fire in my blood, and as it takes hold, my entire perspective changes. My focus shifts from protecting, from doing right, to simply taking what I want.
And what I want is sitting right in front of me in that flirty sundress, her body close enough to touch, her lips almost brushing mine.
Chowon doesn’t flinch. If anything, she leans in, her breathing hitching slightly as her eyes glint with something darker, something wilder. It’s as if she welcomes this shift, as if she’s been waiting for it.
“That’s not the gaze of a hero,” she teases, her voice soft but sharp, a taunt wrapped in velvet.
Her words only fuel the fire inside me. My gaze roams over her, drinking her in. Her figure is exquisite, every curve and line a masterpiece of temptation, but it’s her eyes that hold me. The softness, the doe-like innocence—gone. What stares back at me now is the gaze of a lioness, her hunger matching my own.
Two predators, circling.
Neither of us speaks. The air between us crackles, charged with tension and unspoken desires. Whatever happens next, it feels inevitable, like a collision neither of us can stop—or wants to.
Here’s an expanded and detailed version of your scene, adding more depth to the emotions, tension, and connection between Dinozen and Chowon:
Chowon moved first, closing the space between us in a heartbeat. Her lips crashed against mine, fierce and deliberate, like she had decided the moment and wasn’t going to let it slip away. The kiss wasn’t gentle—it was raw, electric, and unrelenting.
And then, I felt it.
It wasn’t just a kiss. It was something deeper, more profound. Our energies shifted, intertwining in a way that left me reeling. For the first time in my life, I felt seen. I felt reciprocation.
Her soul was a mirror of my own—a churning storm of anger and loneliness, a fire that refused to be extinguished. I felt it all: her hunger for mayhem, the thrill of violence, and the exhaustion from constantly holding back for people who expected so much, demanded so much, without ever asking what we needed in return.
It was a soul as bruised and battered as mine.
When she pulled away, her lips just inches from mine, her breathing uneven, she searched my face with those predatory eyes. “How were you reborn?” she asked, her voice low and steady, a sharp contrast to the chaotic energy between us.
I hesitated, the memory of that moment clawing its way to the surface. “I was saving my dad from a zombie,” I said, my voice tinged with bitterness. “I got bitten… and when the chaos hit, my family left me during their escape.”
The words came out heavier than I expected, dragging old wounds into the light. I could feel my anger rising, simmering alongside something darker, something hungrier.
Chowon’s breath hitched, her heart rate spiking—I could hear it, feel it. Without a word, she pulled me into another kiss. This one was different—just as hungry but tinged with something else, a silent acknowledgment of the anger, the pain, and the raw, unfiltered truth we shared.
When we finally broke apart, her gaze locked onto mine, fierce and unyielding. There was no teasing now, no coy smile. Just a woman who saw all of me and wasn’t afraid.
“Always the hero,” she said, her voice a husky whisper. “Well then… tonight, don’t play the role. Be who you are.”
Her words hit me like a jolt, cutting straight through the layers of control I had spent so long building. There was no judgment in her tone, no expectation. Just an invitation. A challenge.
I didn’t answer, not with words. Instead, I let the mask slip. I let the carefully constructed image of Dinozen fall away, piece by piece, until only the raw, unfiltered truth of who I was remained.
And she welcomed it.
For the first time, I felt no need to hold back. No reason to hide. No fear of being too much, too intense, too broken.
Chowon didn’t flinch. If anything, she leaned in closer, her presence steady and unyielding. In that moment, I realized we weren’t just kindred spirits—we were two sides of the same coin, drawn together by the weight of what we’d endured and the unshakable hunger to embrace what we truly were.
Whatever came next, it wouldn’t be quiet. It wouldn’t be safe. But it would be real, but before we could do anything we heard more growls of zombies encircling the party. Chowon and I get up from the couch before slipping out of the guest house
The guesthouse door creaked as we both stepped outside, the cool night air crackling with the distant groans of the undead. The swarm had breached the perimeter—a mistake they wouldn’t live long enough to regret.
Chowon twirled her machete lazily in one hand, the moonlight glinting off the blade. She gave me a look, her smile sharp and playful. “You ready to let loose?”
My dagger felt steady in my hand, but my heart pounded for an entirely different reason as I met her gaze. “I think you’ve got more to prove than me,” I shot back, grinning despite myself. As we walk over the zombie I had previously slain.
She laughed, a sound both sweet and unnerving. “Let’s see who makes the bigger mess.”
Then the first zombie stumbled into view, and all hell broke loose.
We moved like a deadly symphony, two parts of the same chaotic whole. Chowon darted forward, her blade slicing through rotted flesh with precision. Her movements were graceful, almost balletic, as if every kill were a carefully choreographed dance.
I wasn’t as elegant. I was raw power, using my knife and my fists when needed, each strike fueled by a deep well of frustration and hunger. The undead fell in heaps around me, but every now and then, I caught a glimpse of Chowon—her lithe figure spinning and twisting, her sundress smeared with blood but her expression radiant, alive.
The horde was relentless, but we were more so.
At one point, we ended up back-to-back, surrounded. Her voice was low, teasing, even as she hacked through another zombie. “Still feeling zen, Dinozen?”
I couldn’t help the grin that spread across my face. “More like… alive,” I admitted, plunging my blade into another corpse.
Her laugh rang out again, wild and unrestrained. “I love it.”
As the swarm thinned, something shifted between us. We weren’t just fighting anymore; we were feeding off each other’s energy. Every shared glance, every brush of her arm against mine as we moved, heightened the tension between us.
Blood streaked her face, her doe-like eyes now alight with something feral. She caught me staring and smirked, slicing through a zombie with a flourish before turning to me. “What, admiring my form?”
I wiped sweat and blood from my brow, unable to resist the way my lips quirked upward. “It’s decent,” I teased, though my voice betrayed how much more I thought.
She stepped closer, her chest rising and falling as we stood amid the carnage. Her machete dangled loosely at her side, forgotten for a moment as her eyes locked onto mine. “Decent?” she repeated, her voice a whisper now, tinged with mock offense.
“Better than decent,” I admitted, my voice rough from exertion.
Her lips curved into a genuine smile—one that made the world around us fade, if only for a moment. We head back to the guesthouse our bodies electric as we can't deny the attraction we felt anymore.
I tear off that sundress that hides her delicious curves and I tear off the lingerie that hides her from me. She did the same and as we stood bare before each other she pounced on me. Her hands claw into my back but I don’t feel pain only invigorated She claims me with another bit on my other shoulder further linking us now both virally and emotionally I follow suit and bite her other shoulder. Our bite marks now creating mirror pairs, but now I need her carnally I see her eyes yelling “take me make me yours!” So I do just that. I violently thrust my cock inside her. Chowon moans as her insides welcome me. I fit perfectly inside of her, something she makes very clear by saying
“Oh fuck your cock. It’s so good.” I smile and begin to suck on her massive tits. She moans out as I thrust and suck on her tits like a man dying of thirst. Chowon coos as her body reacts violently. Her back arches towards me as I lightly nibble her nipple. She grabs my face and brings me in for another kiss. Fire runs through both of veins as we copulate. I continue thrusting into her and she continues fucking herself on my cock. our moans echo throughout the room as we desperately mate. I feel Chowon's walls clench around me as if to milk me and it works i spew cum into her womb like a volcano, uncontrolled and violent. She moans as her orgasm hits soon after. she smiles then says,
"Fuck!" her eyes narrow and she says "you are mine and I am yours." I nod as our vision goes black before we pass out.
The sun peeked over the horizon, casting a golden glow over the remains of last night’s chaos. The yard outside the guesthouse was a battlefield—a mosaic of dismembered zombies and smeared gore, with the unmistakable stench of death hanging thick in the air.
Venus, the hostess of the party, stepped outside cautiously, still rubbing the sleep from her eyes. She froze mid-step as she took in the carnage. Around her, other survivors began to stir, their sleepy murmurs turning to gasps of horror and confusion as they joined her on the porch.
"What the hell happened here?" Donny asked, stepping outside and immediately covering his nose with his sleeve. His eyes widened as he surveyed the wreckage.
"Was there a raid? A bomb or something?" Haseul ventured, her voice trembling.
“No,” Venus said slowly, pointing toward the barbed-wire fence. It was still intact, albeit stained with black blood. “No breach. Whatever did this… was already inside.”
The group exchanged uneasy glances. They all knew the stakes of staying here, but no one had heard any alarms or screams during the night.
“Look at those slashes,” Donny's said, kneeling next to a fallen zombie. Its torso was nearly split in two, the edges of the wound clean and precise. “This wasn’t some lucky survivor swinging a baseball bat. This was…” He trailed off, unable to find the right words.
Venus crossed her arms, her brow furrowed. “A professional.”
“But who? No one here—” Donny's voice cut off as his gaze lifted toward the guesthouse.
The survivors followed his line of sight. The door to the guesthouse was slightly ajar, the faintest tendrils of smoke curling from a makeshift firepit just outside, where a few zombie skulls were charred black.
Inside the guesthouse, Chowon and I lay tangled together on the couch, both still wearing faint remnants of the night’s battle on our skin—smears of black blood on my jawline, a shallow cut on Chowon’s shoulder that had already begun to heal. The only wounds not healing were the bitemarks from our original infection and each other.
The room was warm with the morning light streaming in, highlighting their serene faces. Chowon’s head rested on my chest, her fingers loosely curled against mine. my arm was draped protectively around her, our breaths rising and falling in sync.
Raph pushed the door open wider, and Venus peered in behind him. The scene they found was at odds with the carnage outside.
“Are they… cuddling?” Raph whispered, dumbfounded.
Venus frowned. “They didn’t leave with the rest of us last night.”
“You think they did all that?” Jihyo asked, jerking her thumb toward the yard.
Venus didn’t answer. Her eyes flicked toward the bite marks on Chowon’s neck and the scratches on my arms. She noticed how our wounds seemed almost healed, despite being fresh hours ago. There was something unsettling about the stillness of our sleep, something off about the peace we exuded.
“Well, it sure as hell wasn’t the wind,” Venus muttered, stepping back outside.
As the survivors gathered on the porch, hushed debates about what had happened swirled through the air. Meanwhile, in the guesthouse, my fingers twitched slightly, as if dreaming of the fight, my grip tightening around Chowon for a moment.
She stirred, smiling softly in her sleep, her voice barely audible as she murmured, “Always the hero… even when you’re not trying.”
And the two apex predators, satiated and at peace, slept on.
Jonah stared at the pair on the couch, his jaw slack. “I don’t… What am I even looking at right now?”
Venus crossed her arms, her brow furrowed as she studied Dinozen’s protective arm draped around Chowon. “You’re looking at two people who somehow turned the yard into a zombie graveyard and then decided to take a nap.”
“They’re covered in blood,” one of the other partygoers whispered, their voice trembling.
“Yeah, but… they look so normal,” Jonah said, shaking his head. “Like, I’m half expecting them to wake up and ask if breakfast is ready.”
“They weren’t normal last night,” Venus said sharply, her eyes narrowing. “They stayed behind when we all took cover. And now, this.” She gestured toward the carnage outside.
Another voice chimed in. “You’re telling me those two—just the two of them—took out all those zombies? That’s insane.”
“Look at the wounds on those things,” Jonah said, his tone grim. “Clean cuts, precision kills. Whoever did that knew exactly what they were doing. That wasn’t panic. That was… art.”
“Art?” Venus scoffed. “Try predation.”
The group fell silent, staring at the serene scene before them. Dinozen shifted slightly, murmuring something under his breath as Chowon nestled closer against him, her hand curling around the fabric of his shirt.
“They look so peaceful,” someone said quietly.
“Yeah,” Jonah replied. “Like wolves after a feast.”
Venus took a step forward, her boots creaking on the floorboards. “Whatever they are, they’re not just survivors. Nobody walks out of a night like that without a scratch and sleeps like this.” Her voice dropped lower. “We need to figure out who we’re dealing with. Because if they’re on our side? Fine. But if they’re not…”
Jonah hesitated, glancing back at the open door. “What do you even do against people like that?”
Venus didn’t answer. Instead, she stepped back outside, leaving the others to exchange uneasy glances.
I woke up slowly, the soft morning light filtering through the guesthouse window. For a moment, I didn’t know where I was, my mind foggy from the chaos of the night before. But then I felt the warmth against me, the steady rise and fall of someone breathing, and it all came flooding back.
Chowon.
She was curled up against me, her head resting on my shoulder, her arm draped lazily across my chest. Her hair smelled faintly of lilac, with something sweeter I couldn’t place. It was comforting, grounding me in the moment, even as everything else felt surreal.
Her eyes fluttered open, and when she met my gaze, a lazy, mischievous smile spread across her lips. “Morning, hero,” she said, her voice soft but carrying that teasing lilt I was starting to recognize.
I huffed a quiet laugh, rubbing a hand over my face. “Not sure ‘hero’ is the right word after last night.”
She stretched, her fingers brushing against my chest, sending a spark of something electric through me. “True,” she said, her smirk widening. “Maybe ‘beast’ fits better.” There was something in her tone—pride, maybe, or amusement.
Before I could respond, a knock at the door startled both of us.
“Hey, uh… are you two decent?” Jonah’s voice called from the other side, awkward and unsure.
Chowon raised an eyebrow at me, leaning in close to whisper, “Do we want to be?”
I gave her a look, shaking my head despite the smirk pulling at my lips. “Yeah,” I called out. “We’re decent.”
The door creaked open, and Jonah stepped in, looking half-relieved and half-terrified. Behind him, Venus lingered in the doorway, her arms crossed and her gaze sharp as a blade.
“So…” Jihyo began, scratching the back of her head. “Crazy night, huh? Any chance you want to explain how you two managed to… you know…” She waved a hand toward the window, where the yard beyond lay strewn with carnage.
Chowon tilted her head, feigning innocence. “Oh, did something happen?”
Jihyo just stared at her, clearly out of her depth. Venus stepped forward, cutting to the chase. “Don’t play dumb,” she said coldly. “The yard looks like a battlefield. And you two…” She gestured at us. “You look like you didn’t even break a sweat.”
I met her gaze evenly. “We did what needed to be done,” I said. “You’re welcome, by the way.”
Her eyes narrowed. “I’m not ungrateful. I’m just not sure what to make of you two.”
Chowon her tattered clothes did little to hide her body and this tide of possessiveness raged within me with anger at how they looked at her. I caught Jonah’s eyes dropping to her shoulder before they shot back up, his face pale as a ghost. “Uh… what’s that?”
“What’s what?” Chowon asked, her voice all mock innocence.
Jihyo pointed, and my stomach tightened. Her bite scar.
“Wait,” Venus said, her voice low and wary. “Is that… a bite mark?”
Chowon rolls her eyes dismissively, "you know we were both bitten already," she says her tone even hoping not to anger the rest of the group.
Venus eyes us and says, "Yeah we knew. about the other one but why do you have two now?
Sighing, I rolled up my sleeve, revealing the scar on my forearm. “Yeah,” I said flatly. “We’ve been bitten.”
The room fell silent, everyone staring at us like we’d just sprouted fangs. Raph broke the silence, his voice shaky. “But… you’re not… you didn’t turn?”
Chowon smirked, glancing at me. “Nope. Guess we’re special.”
“Special?” Venus repeated, her tone laced with suspicion. “Or infected differently? How do we know this doesn’t mean something worse?”
“Because we’re still here,” I said, my voice firm. “If we weren’t immune, you’d all be dead by now.”
Donny's eyes darted between us, his expression torn between awe and unease. “Still… something’s different about you two. It’s not just the scars. You… feel different.”
I didn’t have a good response for that, and neither did Chowon. She just shrugged, brushing past Venus with that same breezy confidence. “Well,” she said, “I don’t know about you, but I’m starving.”
I followed her toward the door, the rest of the group trailing behind us hesitantly. I could feel their eyes on the scars, like they were trying to piece together some unspoken truth.
As we stepped outside, the aftermath of the night’s rampage hit me in full. Zombies torn apart, blood and gore staining the ground, and a mess of destruction that could only be described as primal.
Chowon and I walked through it like we belonged there, side by side, as if the carnage was some twisted monument to what we’d become.
Behind us, I heard Jihyo whisper, “They’re not just immune, are they?”
“No,” Venus replied, her voice grim. “They’re something else.”
I glanced at Chowon, catching the faint smirk on her lips. Maybe Venus was right. Maybe we were something else..
I stepped out into the bright morning sunlight, stretching my arms wide as though shaking off the stiffness of sleep. My muscles ached, but it wasn’t a bad ache—it was the satisfying kind, the reminder of a job well done. Beside me, Chowon followed, tying her hair back in a loose ponytail. Her steps were deliberate, calculated, but she carried herself with the kind of grace that seemed to melt away suspicion.
Venus and Jihyo were standing by the remains of the fire pit, poking at the charred logs with sticks, while Jonah and Donny scouted the edges of the yard. Raph sat perched on a broken log, flipping his knife over in his hands, his gaze shifting between us and the destruction.
The tension was still thick in the air, coiled tight like a spring, but I could feel it loosening the moment we appeared. The group’s eyes darted to Chowon first, and then to me. I made a point of smiling—easy, warm, the kind of smile that always worked to smooth over rough edges.
“Morning, everyone,” I called, forcing a yawn into my voice to make it seem like we’d just woken up. “Looks like we missed a hell of a night out here.”
Jihyo gave a dry laugh, her arms crossed. “You can say that again.”
Chowon stepped forward, folding her hands in front of her like some picture of innocence. Her head tilted slightly, her expression soft but curious. “Are… are you all okay? No one got hurt, right?” Her voice was quiet, almost fragile, and I saw the way it disarmed them instantly.
Raph scoffed but didn’t press. Donny’s shoulders eased. Even Venus, who had been glaring daggers at us earlier, seemed to falter just a little.
“We’re fine,” Jihyo said, her tone softer than before. “No thanks to the circus act that went on out here.” She gestured vaguely to the carnage surrounding us.
I rubbed the back of my neck, letting out a sheepish chuckle. “Yeah, about that. I guess things got… a little out of hand.”
“A little?” Venus muttered under her breath.
Chowon sighed, her gaze sweeping across the yard, her lips pressing into a thin line. “We just… we wanted to make sure everyone was safe. That’s all.” Her tone carried just enough guilt to sound believable, as if she was genuinely ashamed of what we’d done.
I stepped in, my hand brushing lightly against her shoulder in what I hoped looked like reassurance. “We had to make a choice. They were getting too close to the house. We couldn’t risk it.”
The group exchanged glances, their unease cracking just a bit under the weight of my words.
“It’s just…” Donny started, scratching the back of his head. “It’s just crazy how you two pulled that off.”
“Luck,” I said quickly, waving a hand. “We’ve had… practice.”
Chowon looked down, biting her lip like the very thought made her uncomfortable. “It’s not something I like doing,” she murmured. “But I couldn’t just… I mean, what if they got to you guys? What if someone got hurt?” Her voice cracked slightly, and that was the nail in the coffin.
Jihyo’s face softened, and she stepped forward, placing a hand on Chowon’s arm. “Hey, you did what you had to do. I don’t think anyone’s blaming you for that.”
Chowon nodded, her expression a perfect mix of gratitude and humility, and I had to bite back the smirk threatening to pull at my lips.
“Besides,” I added, my voice light, “it’s over now. We can clean up, regroup, and figure out the next steps. No use dwelling on it, right?”
The group nodded, their focus shifting away from us and toward more practical concerns. The tension broke completely when Donny called out from the edge of the yard, waving a hand. “Hey! I found a couple of intact water bottles over here!”
The moment their attention turned, Chowon glanced at me, her lips curling into the faintest hint of a smirk. Her eyes gleamed, just for a moment, with the same predatory hunger I’d seen the night before. I mirrored it, my own mask slipping for just a second before I tightened it back into place.
The group didn’t need to know what we really were. They didn’t need to see the predators that had taken up residence inside us. Not yet.
For now, our masks were enough.
And for now, we were satisfied.
The caravan was loud with the sound of engines sputtering to life, the groan of doors swinging shut, and the rustle of last-minute supplies being stowed. I leaned against the side of one of the battered SUVs, watching the group finalize their preparations. Chowon stood a few feet away, tossing a bag into the back of her vehicle. Her hair caught the morning sun, a streak of gold against the drab gray of the world around us.
She glanced over at me, and for a moment, we shared a look. Her lips twitched upward in that lazy, knowing smirk of hers—the one that always made something primal stir deep in my chest. My fingers flexed at my sides involuntarily, the urge to be near her gnawing at me. But then Nayoung’s voice cut through the moment like a jagged blade.
“Uh… I was thinking,” she began, hesitantly, her voice just loud enough for everyone nearby to hear. “Maybe it’d be better if Chowon and Dino rode in separate cars. You know, just to… spread things out.”
The suggestion hung in the air, heavy and awkward. I felt the heat rise in my chest, the pulse of anger flashing through me. My jaw tightened. My fists curled at my sides. I wanted to snap, to tell her to mind her own business. Who was she to decide that I couldn’t ride with my equal—my mate? The thought of Chowon being apart from me, even for a short drive, felt wrong, like something vital being torn away.
But I couldn’t show that. Not now. Not to them.
So, I forced a grin. “Sure, Nayoung,” I said evenly, as if her words hadn’t scraped against every nerve in my body. “Whatever makes everyone more comfortable.”
Her shoulders relaxed slightly, though she still didn’t meet my eyes. “It’s just… you two seem, uh, close. And maybe some space would be good—for the group, I mean.”
Chowon, to her credit, didn’t rise to the bait. She just raised an eyebrow and gave me a small shrug, like it was all a joke to her. “Fine by me,” she said, her tone light but carrying that edge of amusement. “Just don’t get too lonely without me, Dino.”
My lips quirked into a smirk that didn’t quite reach my eyes. “I’ll manage.”
Internally, though, the possessiveness burned. I hated that she was being shuffled off like we were some kind of threat, that Nayoung—or anyone—thought they had the right to dictate where we stood. We’d done more for this group in one night than most of them had done in weeks. And yet, here I was, swallowing my pride, because that’s what the “hero” would do.
Chowon climbed into the SUV without another word, her confidence radiating even as the door slammed shut. I turned to my assigned vehicle, forcing my feet to move even though every instinct screamed to follow her instead.
Venus stood near the driver’s seat, her sharp gaze tracking my every move. “You okay with this?” she asked, her tone as neutral as she could manage, but her eyes betrayed her suspicion.
I shrugged, slipping into the seat next to her. “What’s there to be upset about?” I said, my voice smooth, practiced. “It’s just a car ride.”
She didn’t reply, but her silence felt loaded, like she was waiting for something to slip.
As the caravan rolled out, the world outside blurred into a haze of trees and broken roads. I kept my eyes on the SUV ahead of us, knowing Chowon was inside. The thought of her alone, without me to watch her back, sent a low growl vibrating through my chest. I clenched my fists, forcing myself to focus on the rumble of the engine beneath me instead.
The predator inside me snarled, furious and restless. But I breathed through it, letting the mask settle back into place. For now, I’d play the part. For now, I’d keep the peace.
Because the truth was, Nayoung wasn’t entirely wrong. Chowon and I together—unchecked—was something none of them were ready to face.
Not yet.
And maybe that was for the best.
For now.
I would find out later that Chowon felt the separation anxiety even more than I had.
The steady hum of the engine filled the car as Chowon sat quietly in the passenger seat, her eyes fixed on the road ahead. Nayoung was behind the wheel, her hands gripping it tightly, her knuckles pale from tension. She glanced sideways at Chowon every so often, the silence between them heavy and awkward.
“I’m glad we’re finally moving,” Nayoung said, her voice overly bright, like she was trying too hard to keep things light. “Being stuck in one place felt… dangerous.”
Chowon nodded, offering a shy smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes. “Yeah, it’s good to get some distance,” she said softly. “Safety in numbers, right?”
Nayoung relaxed slightly, her grip on the wheel loosening just a bit. “Exactly,” she said, though her voice still carried an edge of nervousness. “And, um… spreading everyone out for the ride made sense, too. Gives people some space.”
Her words made Chowon’s stomach churn. Space? From Dinozen? Her instincts roared against the idea, the predator inside her snarling at the separation. It was wrong, unnatural. She and Dinozen were a unit, two halves of a whole. Being apart from him felt like losing a part of herself.
But on the surface, Chowon’s expression didn’t falter. She tilted her head slightly, her smile remaining soft and understanding. “Of course,” she said gently. “You’re just looking out for everyone. That’s really thoughtful of you, Nayoung.”
Nayoung glanced at her, her expression easing a little at the words. “I just… I’ve seen how close you and Dinozen are, and I couldn’t help but worry, you know? I mean, after last night…”
Chowon felt a flare of anger deep in her chest, sharp and hot. She kept her hands folded in her lap to hide the way her nails dug into her palms. Last night had been perfect—a primal, untamed connection between her and Dinozen. No one had the right to question it.
But she kept her voice light and her expression calm. “I get it,” she murmured, her tone tinged with bashfulness. “It probably looked… intense. I didn’t mean to scare anyone. Dinozen and I just… trust each other. That’s all.”
Nayoung glanced at her again, a hint of doubt in her eyes. “Trust, huh?” she said cautiously. “It just seemed like… I don’t know. Like you weren’t even afraid. You and Dinozen… you acted like—”
“Like what?” Chowon asked, her tone quiet but curious, encouraging Nayoung to continue.
Nayoung hesitated, her fingers tightening on the wheel again. “Like you weren’t human,” she finally said.
Chowon’s chest tightened, and for a moment, she wanted to laugh. If only Nayoung knew how close to the truth she was. But instead, she lowered her gaze, letting a faint blush rise to her cheeks. “I guess you stop thinking about fear when people are counting on you,” she said softly.
Nayoung nodded slowly, though her grip on the wheel remained firm. “Maybe,” she said, her voice uncertain. “I just want to make sure everyone’s okay. Including you and Dinozen.”
Her words were meant to reassure, but they only fueled the frustration simmering beneath Chowon’s calm exterior. She and Dinozen didn’t need Nayoung’s concern. They were stronger than anyone else in the group. Stronger together.
But Chowon’s smile stayed in place, warm and disarming. “Thanks, Nayoung,” she said, her voice gentle. “That means a lot. You’re a good leader, you know. You’re always thinking about what’s best for everyone.”
Nayoung blinked at the unexpected compliment, her cheeks flushing faintly. “Oh, I don’t know about that,” she said, her voice flustered. “I just… try my best.”
“And it shows,” Chowon said kindly. “We’re lucky to have you.”
The rest of the ride passed in relative silence, Nayoung visibly relaxing while Chowon’s thoughts churned. Her gaze remained on the road ahead, but her mind was with Dinozen, riding in another vehicle somewhere behind them. The separation gnawed at her, an ache that only grew with each passing mile.
Her fingers curled into fists in her lap, her nails pressing into her skin as she fought to keep the frustration from surfacing. Let Nayoung think she’d done the right thing. Let her believe Chowon was the shy, caring leader she wanted her to be.
For now, Chowon could wear the mask.
But when the time came, when she and Dinozen stood side by side again, nothing—not Nayoung, not the group, not even the world—would keep them apart.
Mikey and Chaehyun’s safe house was a welcome sight—tucked into a quiet, wooded clearing, with high fences and a sturdy-looking building that practically screamed, This place is safe, or as close to it as you’ll get. Still, I felt uneasy as we pulled up, the faint scent of decay still lingering in the air despite the relative quiet. Chowon and I had been separated during the ride, and now, as we stepped out of the vehicles, that distance lingered like an ache just under my skin.
Sakura was quick to approach, clipboard in hand like she was already mentally assigning jobs. “Alright, let’s get this place fortified,” she said briskly, her sharp gaze scanning each of us. “Mikey and Chaehyun did well setting this up, but it’s not perfect. We’ll need to check the perimeter, strengthen weak points in the fencing, and clear out anything that might attract trouble.”
I caught Chowon’s eye as she hopped out of the other vehicle, her movements fluid and easy despite the long ride. She looked my way for the briefest moment, her expression unreadable, before Sakura stepped between us.
“Dinozen,” Sakura said, her tone firm, “you’re on perimeter patrol with Leo. Chowon can help Mikey with the fences.”
My jaw tightened at the way she separated us so deliberately, as if we couldn’t be trusted to work together. I felt that familiar heat rise in my chest—possessive, primal, protective—but I swallowed it down. These people didn’t understand us, not yet. Maybe they never would.
“Sure,” I said coolly, shrugging like it didn’t bother me. “Perimeter patrol sounds fun.”
Leo sidled up to me, his usual easygoing grin replaced with something more cautious. He clapped a hand on my shoulder, his grip just a little too tight. “Let’s go, man,” he said. “Got to make sure nothing sneaks up on us.”
Chowon was already moving toward Mikey, her gait relaxed, but I caught the flicker of tension in her movements—the way her fingers curled slightly, her nails brushing against her palm. She wasn’t happy about this either, but outwardly, she wore her usual bashful smile.
“Come on, Mikey,” she said cheerfully. “Let’s see what needs fixing.”
Sakura watched her go before turning back to me and Leo. “Keep your eyes open,” she said. “And stay focused. No distractions.”
I nodded, biting back a sarcastic remark. Instead, I glanced toward the house where Chaehyun stood by the door, her arms crossed, watching all of us with a mix of curiosity and caution. This wasn’t just about fortifying the safe house; it was about fortifying the group’s trust—or lack thereof.
Leo led the way toward the treeline, his machete in hand, while I trailed behind, scanning the perimeter with practiced ease. My thoughts, though, were elsewhere—on Chowon. On the way her scent had lingered in the car even after she was gone. On the way her absence felt like a missing piece of me.
“So,” Leo said, breaking the silence as we walked, “you and Chowon seem… close.”
I glanced at him, my expression neutral. “We’ve been through a lot together,” I said simply.
“Yeah, I get that,” he said, though his tone was cautious. “But some of the others are… worried. After what happened last night.”
“They’re alive because of us,” I said, my voice sharp despite my efforts to keep it level.
Leo nodded quickly. “I’m not saying they aren’t grateful. Just… things looked a little intense, you know? People are still trying to figure out what to make of it.”
I didn’t respond, letting the silence stretch between us. Let them worry. Let them guess. As long as they stayed out of our way when it counted, that was all that mattered.
Meanwhile, I could hear Chowon’s voice in the distance, faint but distinct, as she talked to Mikey about the fence. She laughed at something he said, the sound light and airy, but I could feel the tension beneath it like a wire pulled taut.
By the time we circled back to the others, the sun was starting to dip lower in the sky. Chowon was standing by the fence, her hands on her hips, inspecting the repairs. Mikey was chatting animatedly beside her, but her attention shifted the moment she saw me.
Sakura stepped in again, her timing almost comical in its precision. “Good work,” she said briskly, addressing me and Leo. “Now let’s see if we can reinforce the house itself. Chowon, you stay with Mikey and Chaehyun for now.”
Chowon’s expression didn’t change, but I caught the faintest flicker of something in her eyes—annoyance, maybe, or a quiet defiance. She nodded, though, her demeanor as shy and accommodating as ever.
“Of course,” she said sweetly. “Whatever you think is best.”
I turned away before anyone could see the irritation creeping into my features. It wasn’t the right time to push back, not yet. But as we worked through the evening, I couldn’t shake the feeling that separating us wasn’t just about safety.
It was about fear.
They were afraid of what we were—what we might become. Which saddened me more than it should have.
I was leaning against the safe house’s patched-up railing, enjoying the quiet for once. The group had settled in for afternoon , the tension that came with a new place giving way to a cautious calm. I was sharpening my dagger, the rhythmic scrape of the blade against the whetstone grounding me, when Leo, Donny, and Raph approached.
The three of them shuffled awkwardly, like schoolboys about to ask the teacher for help. I didn’t look up at first, letting them squirm. Finally, Leo cleared his throat.
“Uh, hey, Dinozen,” he started, rubbing the back of his neck. “You got a minute?”
I glanced up, deliberately slow, then tucked the my dagger and stone into my belt. “What’s up?”
Donny hesitated, his cheeks already a little red. “We, uh… we kind of need some advice. Relationship advice.”
My grip tightened for a split second, a surge of something dark and possessive rising in me. Tensions among them could work in my favor, I thought. Distract them, make them look at each other instead of us. But outwardly, I kept my expression calm and curious, tilting my head like I was genuinely interested.
“Relationship advice?” I asked, the corner of my mouth quirking up in a faint smile. “Didn’t think I was the type to give it, but sure. Shoot.”
Leo spoke first, his voice low. “It’s about Sakura. I mean, I think she might be interested, but she’s so… focused. Every time I try to talk to her, she brushes me off. I don’t know if she’s not into me or if she just doesn’t notice.”
Donny chimed in, almost cutting Leo off. “And Venus. She’s… intense, you know? But I think there’s something there. I just don’t know how to… approach her without looking like an idiot.”
I caught myself before I laughed aloud. Venus and Jihyo had been paired off since before I joined this group. The two of them might not have announced it outright, but the signs were there—the subtle, protective touches, the way they moved in sync, the private looks.
Donny’s chasing a ghost, I thought.
Then Raph added his voice to the mix. “And Haseul… I think maybe she’s been trying to… you know, drop hints? But I’m not sure if she’s just being nice or…”
Now that’s a smarter path, I thought. Haseul had been hovering near Raph more often lately, her gaze lingering when he wasn’t looking.
I leaned back against the railing, crossing my arms. Internally, my mind was already weaving threads, possibilities. If Leo and Donny turned their attention to their own pursuits, they’d have less time to focus on Chowon and me. Better yet, if things went wrong, the tension could splinter the group further. It was almost too easy.
But outwardly, I played the part of the helpful friend. “First off,” I said, “you’re all overthinking this.” I pointed at Leo. “Sakura’s the kind of person who respects directness. If you keep skirting around what you want, she’s going to assume you don’t mean it. Be upfront with her, but keep it simple. Ask her to take a break with you—something small, something that lets her focus on you for a few minutes. She’s busy, yeah, but she’s not unfeeling. Give her a reason to look at you.”
Leo nodded slowly, his brow furrowed like he was committing every word to memory.
Then I turned to Donny, keeping my voice even. “As for Venus… look, man, I hate to say it, but you’re barking up the wrong tree. Venus and Jihyo? They’ve got their own thing going on. It’s quiet, sure, but it’s there. You don’t want to put yourself in that situation.”
Donny blinked, his face falling slightly. “Oh,” he muttered.
I clapped him on the shoulder, offering a faint smile. “Don’t take it too hard. You’ll find someone who’s actually looking back at you. You’ve got the charm—just pick the right target.”
Finally, I turned to Raph, my smirk softening. “And Haseul? She’s already looking at you, man. Don’t overthink it. She’s not the kind to play games. If she’s giving you her time, it means she wants you to notice her. Just talk to her, like a person. Don’t make it bigger than it is.”
Raph’s expression shifted from nervous to thoughtful, his lips pressing into a determined line.
“Think you can manage that?” I asked, my tone light, like this was all casual advice from a guy who had it all figured out.
“Yeah,” Leo said after a moment. “Yeah, that makes sense.”
“Same,” Donny added, his voice firmer now.
Raph nodded as well, his eyes flickering with something like hope.
They all thanked me and wandered off, their heads already buzzing with plans. I watched them go, the faintest smirk tugging at my lips. I’d given them real advice, sure—good advice, even. But I’d also planted seeds. If Leo focused on Sakura and Donny redirected his efforts, the tension in the group might shift in ways that kept Chowon and me out of the spotlight.
And if Raph managed to connect with Haseul? Well, that was one less pair of eyes watching us.
I turned back to my dagger, picking up the whetstone and resuming the steady, calming scrape of blade against stone. They didn’t need to know how much I’d wanted to laugh at their nervousness or how little their problems mattered to me in the grand scheme of things.
As long as they stayed distracted, we could stay safe.
The late afternoon had settled in, and the house was quieter than usual, with most of the group winding down or keeping busy with last-minute chores. I’d done my part, but I couldn’t ignore the pull inside me—the pull to find her.
Chowon.
She’d been busy all day, just like everyone else, but I knew she wouldn’t be able to resist the need for solitude. Neither of us could. So, when I noticed she’d slipped away, I didn’t think twice. I followed.
I found her in a small room at the back of the house—just a storage space, really, but it offered the kind of privacy we both craved. She was leaning against the door, her breathing shallow, like she had something weighing on her. When she saw me, her lips curved into that soft, bashful smile of hers. It made the beast inside me stir.
“You knew I’d come,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
I didn’t reply at first. I couldn’t. It was one of those moments where everything else faded away, and all I could focus on was the way she looked at me. Like she wanted more but was scared of what that might mean.
Slowly, I crossed the room, my every step measured, like I was stalking prey—but she wasn’t prey, not in the way the world would think. She was mine. In a way no one else could understand. My equal. And there was a fire inside me—an unquenchable hunger—that flared every time she got close.
When I reached her, our gazes locked, and the space between us seemed to shrink. I could feel the raw energy crackling between us, a constant push and pull. Her fingers brushed against my arm, sending a pulse of electricity straight to my chest.
The mask we wore—the one that kept us from slipping into our darker instincts—was slipping. I could feel it. And it felt so damn good.
I leaned in, closer than I should have, letting her feel the heat of my breath on her skin. “You know, you’re not asking for permission, Chowon,” I said, my voice low, tinged with something dangerous.
She swallowed, a slight shiver running through her. I knew what she felt—the same thing I did. The pull, the need to break free of everything we were supposed to be.
“Maybe I’m not,” she said, her voice barely audible. Her fingers slid up my chest, and I had to bite back a growl. Everything in me screamed to take control, to claim what was mine. But I held back—just enough to let her make the choice.
The door creaked open behind us. I tensed, instinctively pulling back.
“Chowon?” Nayoung’s voice, uncertain and high-pitched, broke the moment.
Chowon immediately stepped away from me, her face flushing with embarrassment. She cleared her throat, trying to act casual, but I could feel the weight of the interruption on her, too. She had wanted this as much as I had.
Nayoung stood there, wide-eyed, staring at the two of us. I didn’t care what she saw. But Chowon… she was still trying to maintain her composure. “I was looking for you,” Nayoung added, her voice awkward.
I shot her a glance, offering a smile that didn’t quite reach my eyes. “It’s fine, Nayoung. Just give us a moment.”
Nayoung hesitated, glancing between us with that familiar uncertainty, then nodded and stepped out of the room. I didn’t miss the look she shot Chowon before the door clicked shut.
Chowon sighed, letting her shoulders drop as she leaned back against the wall. She ran a hand through her hair, trying to regain her composure, but I could tell she was still shaken. It was just like her—trying to act like nothing had happened, like the hunger between us wasn’t real, wasn’t something she craved too.
“You’re not the only one who’s good at hiding things,” I muttered under my breath, stepping closer again.
She met my eyes, her lips curling into that soft, rueful smile. “I wasn’t hiding anything.”
“Of course you weren’t,” I replied, my voice dripping with sarcasm. But there was an understanding there too—an acknowledgment of what we were. “Neither was I.”
She looked away, but I caught the flash of something darker in her eyes, a fleeting reminder that we were both far from innocent. “Later,” she said, as though trying to pull herself together, smoothing down her clothes like she wasn’t just moments away from devouring me.
I nodded, though I wasn’t so sure “later” was going to be enough. We both knew the truth now.
We stepped out of the room together, the weight of the moment hanging between us, unspoken but undeniable. As we walked back into the chaos of the house, I couldn’t help but glance at her, the bond we shared undeniable.
And as we rejoined the others, I knew that whatever happened—no matter how much we tried to fight it—this hunger, this need, wouldn’t be so easily ignored.
When Chowon and I returned to the group, the air shifted instantly. It always did when we walked into a room together. It wasn’t something we tried to do, but people noticed. Their eyes followed us, their postures stiffened. It was the kind of attention predators gave to other predators when they didn’t know whether to trust them—or run.
The others were scattered around the central living room, doing whatever passed for relaxation these days. Leo and Sakura were hunched over a map, marking supply routes with careful precision. Donny was fiddling with a makeshift antenna, muttering about improving the safe house’s radio signal. Raph and Haseul were by the window, whispering about something that made Haseul’s cheeks flush pink. Venus and Jihyo were on the couch, arms brushing but pretending not to notice.
When we stepped into the room, all those little pockets of activity froze.
Leo glanced up first, his expression unreadable but his shoulders tensing just the same. “Back already?” he asked, his tone casual but laced with an edge I couldn’t ignore.
Chowon was quicker to answer. She plastered on one of her signature soft smiles—the kind that made her look like she couldn’t hurt a fly, even though everyone here knew better. “Just needed a breather,” she said lightly, brushing past me and settling into an empty chair near the couch. “It’s been a long day.”
“Right,” Leo muttered, exchanging a quick look with Sakura, who didn’t bother to hide her wariness.
I stayed standing, leaning casually against the doorway, but I could feel the weight of their stares. My own mask slipped into place—a practiced air of calm and control. It wasn’t hard. They expected me to be the composed, dependable one. The one who kept things steady. If only they knew how thin that line was sometimes.
Donny broke the tension first, glancing up from his antenna with an awkward grin. “Hey, uh, we were talking earlier about fortifying the south side. Might need some extra muscle for that tomorrow.”
“Dino can handle it,” Chowon said easily, her voice as sweet and warm as honey. She shot me a quick, playful glance. “He’s good at heavy lifting.”
I gave her a small smirk, the kind that didn’t quite reach my eyes but was enough to keep the tone light. “Only if you’re supervising,” I said, my voice low enough that only she could hear the double meaning.
She caught it, of course. Her eyes flicked to mine for a brief moment, something dark and knowing passing between us before she turned her attention back to the group.
“Speaking of tomorrow,” Jihyo chimed in, clearly trying to steer the conversation to safer ground, “we’re low on water. Someone’s going to have to scout the area for another source.”
“I can do it,” Chowon offered quickly, and I felt my chest tighten. The idea of her out there alone, even for a short trip, sent a wave of protectiveness through me that I barely managed to suppress.
“No,” Leo cut in, his tone firm. “We’ll go in pairs. It’s safer that way.” His eyes flicked to me briefly, then back to Chowon. “You and Nayoung can take that one.”
I clenched my jaw, forcing myself to stay still. The idea of her paired with anyone but me felt wrong, even if I knew it was irrational. Still, I kept my tone even. “Sounds like a good plan,” I said, the words bitter on my tongue.
Chowon didn’t even flinch. She nodded gracefully, folding her hands in her lap like she had no objections. But I knew her well enough to see the flicker of annoyance behind her eyes. She didn’t like being told what to do any more than I did.
As the group settled back into their routines, the tension in the room began to ease. Or at least, they thought it did. I stayed where I was, watching and listening, every sense attuned to the shifting dynamics. Leo and Sakura were still wary, still on edge. Venus kept glancing at Chowon and me when she thought we weren’t looking. Even Donny, with all his awkward charm, seemed less sure of himself around us lately.
It didn’t bother me. Not really. If anything, it kept them predictable. Distracted. As long as their tension was pointed at each other—or at us—I could keep control of the situation.
Chowon caught my eye again from across the room, her expression unreadable but her gaze lingering. The bond between us hummed like a live wire, even in the middle of this crowd. They could separate us for now, keep us at arm’s length. But it wouldn’t last.
We’d always find our way back to each other. And when we did, the masks would slip again.
I wanted to be better.
That thought was loud in my head as I dragged a sheet of metal across the safe houseyard, the makeshift panel screeching against the dirt. My muscles burned from hours of hauling supplies and hammering nails, and the sun overhead felt like it was doing its best to break me. But I didn’t stop.
This was my way of trying to help, of proving that I wasn’t just some unpredictable wildcard in their midst. I could be useful. I could be part of the group.
The others were scattered across the property, all busy with their tasks. Leo was up on the roof with Sakura, patching holes and reinforcing weak spots. Jihyo and Venus were inside, organizing supplies. Raph and Haseul were working on reinforcing the gates. They all seemed comfortable in their little pairs, moving together with an ease that came from trust and familiarity.
And then there was me. Alone.
It didn’t take much to notice the patterns. They didn’t ask me to join in their conversations or include me in their plans. Even now, when every hand mattered, they made a point of keeping me separate. “Dino, can you move those over there?” “Hey, you’re strong—get this done first.” Commands, not invitations.
It shouldn’t have bothered me. I wasn’t new to being treated like an outsider. But the weight of it all settled on me like a stone, pressing harder with every glance that lingered a little too long, every whispered conversation I couldn’t quite hear.
I was halfway through dragging another sheet of metal when it hit me—harder than it should have. A memory, unbidden and sharp as broken glass.
The day I was bitten.
I could still feel the fever that had burned through me, the way my limbs had gone weak, my vision dimming as my body betrayed me. My family had been there—faces pale with horror, tears streaking their cheeks. I had reached for them, begging them to stay, to not leave me alone.
But they had.
The memory of their retreating backs as I collapsed still burned. They had been afraid of what I’d become. And even though I’d survived, even though I wasn’t like the others, that fear had never really gone away.
It was the same fear I saw now, in the way Leo watched me like I might snap at any moment, in the way Venus kept her distance, in the way Jihyo avoided meeting my eyes.
I straightened, the metal sheet dropping from my hands with a thud. My fists clenched at my sides as my breaths came in slow, measured gulps.
I wasn’t one of them. Not really. And maybe I never would be.
I forced myself to focus, to shove those thoughts into the darkest corner of my mind. I picked up the metal sheet again and continued working, but my movements felt heavier now, like I was dragging more than just supplies.
And yet, in the back of my mind, the thought lingered: They’ll never trust you. Not fully. No matter what you do.
Still, I kept going. Because what else was there?
I stepped away from the group, needing space, air, something to calm the gnawing inside me. The predator was stirring again. It always did when I felt cornered—when the isolation, the sideways glances, and the unspoken distrust piled too high.
I found a quiet spot by the treeline and leaned against a weathered trunk, closing my eyes. My chest heaved as I tried to steady myself, my claws itching to come out even though I kept them buried. I wasn’t going to let it win. Not now.
The sound of the wind rustling through the trees should have been soothing, but it wasn’t enough to drown out the voice in my head: They don’t trust you. They never have. They never will.
I dug my fingers into the bark, splintering it beneath my grip, and forced myself to breathe. One… two… three…
Then I heard it—the screams. Distant but unmistakable.
I cursed under my breath, sprinting back toward the group, the predator surging forward like it smelled blood.
When I reached the clearing, the fight was already over. The bodies of infected littered the ground, and the group was huddled together, shaken but mostly unharmed.
All eyes turned to me as I approached, their expressions a mix of relief and suspicion.
“Where the hell were you?” Venus demanded, her voice sharp.
“I stepped away for a minute,” I said, my tone tight.
“A minute?” Donny’s voice cut through the tension, his face flushed with anger. “We were fighting for our lives, and you were just—what? Taking a stroll?”
I opened my mouth to respond, but he wasn’t finished.
“I knew we shouldn’t have trusted you,” he said, jabbing a finger in my direction. “You slayers are always so selfish, so worthless in a group setting. All you care about is yourselves!”
The words hit harder than they should have, and something inside me snapped.
The predator roared to life, surging forward with a ferocity I couldn’t contain. My vision blurred, and a low growl escaped my throat before I even realized it.
I stepped toward Donny, my muscles tensing as every instinct screamed for recompense. His scent was sharp—fear, adrenaline, something that only fueled the hunger clawing its way up my spine.
“Dinozen,” Chowon’s voice cut through the haze, sharp and commanding.
I froze, my gaze snapping to hers. She stepped between us, her hand lightly brushing my arm, and for a moment, the world narrowed to just her.
“Hey,” she said softly, but there was steel beneath her tone. “We all need to take a breather sometimes. Let it go.”
Donny’s mouth opened, but she shot him a glare that silenced him immediately.
She turned back to me, her eyes searching mine. “Come on,” she said, taking my hand. “Let’s get out of here.”
I let her lead me away, my chest still heaving with the effort of keeping the predator at bay. She didn’t say anything until we were far enough from the group that their voices were just a faint murmur.
When we stopped, she turned to face me, her gaze steady.
“Let it out,” she said, her voice calm but firm.
I shook my head, backing away. “I can’t—”
“Yes, you can,” she interrupted, stepping closer. “I’m here. I can handle it.”
Her words broke something in me. The predator surged forward, and I let it. My head tilted back as a roar tore from my throat, reverberating through the trees. It was raw, primal, and louder than I’d ever allowed it to be.
When the sound finally faded, I slumped forward, breathing hard. Chowon’s hand was on my chest, steadying me.
Her eyes softened, and before I could say anything, she leaned in and kissed me. It wasn’t rushed or desperate—it was grounding, pulling me back from the edge.
“You’re not alone,” she whispered against my lips.
I rested my forehead against hers, closing my eyes. The predator was still there, but it had quieted, content for now.
The living room was lit with a warm glow, the crackle of a fire providing the soundtrack to our makeshift Christmas celebration. Despite everything—the attacks, the tension, the unspoken fears—we had found a moment to gather as a group. A small tree sat in the corner, decorated with scavenged ornaments, and under it were gifts, most wrapped in patchwork paper or cloth.
Venus stood up first, a sly smile tugging at her lips as she held out a small, carefully wrapped box. “Alright, Dinozen,” she said, her voice teasing, “you’re up.”
I blinked, surprised that she’d drawn my name. When I took the package, the weight of it felt solid but unfamiliar. With the group’s eyes on me, I peeled back the paper and froze.
Inside was a revolver-shaped dice chamber. The bullets, each intricately carved into polyhedral dice, gleamed in the light.
“You mentioned liking D&D and guns,” Venus said, her tone nonchalant but her gaze curious, watching for my reaction. “Thought I’d combine the two.”
I turned the revolver chamber in my hands, feeling the weight of it, the craftsmanship. For a moment, the predator inside me stirred, sensing the symbolism of the weapon. But as I looked at Venus, I pushed it down and smiled—genuinely. “This is incredible. Thank you.”
Venus gave a small nod, and I caught a flicker of something—maybe trust—cross her face before she sat back down.
My turn. I reached into the bag beside me and pulled out a small box. “Nagyung,” I said, holding it out. “This one’s for you.”
Nagyung’s face lit up as she unwrapped the gift. Inside was a handheld gaming console I had found and fixed up, complete with a charger. Her eyes widened as she turned it over in her hands.
“You got it working?” she asked, her voice filled with awe.
“Yup,” I said, scratching the back of my head. “Thought you could use something to pass the time when things get quiet.”
She grinned, her excitement contagious. “This is amazing. Thank you!”
As she admired the gift, I noticed something in her gaze—a quick glance toward Donny, then back to the console. The pieces clicked.
“Hey,” I said, standing suddenly and catching everyone’s attention. “Hold up.”
The group stilled, confused, but I ignored them, focusing on Nagyung. “You like Donny, don’t you?”
Her face flushed red, and she stammered, “I—what? I don’t—”
Donny, equally flustered, muttered, “What’s he talking about?”
I raised a hand, cutting off the denials. “Look, it’s Christmas. If there’s ever a time to be honest about how you feel, it’s now.” I looked between the two of them. “Talk. Now.”
The room was silent as Nagyung and Donny hesitated, but then Nagyungtook a deep breath, standing. Donny followed her lead, and together, they walked out of the room, whispering to each other.
When the door closed behind them, the tension in the room shifted. The group looked at me, their expressions softening. For the first time, I saw understanding in their eyes.
“Guess you’ve got a heart after all,” Venus murmured, a small smile tugging at her lips.
“Don’t push it,” I replied, but there was no heat in my voice.
The gift exchange continued, the atmosphere lighter now. When it finally ended, Chowon tugged on my sleeve, her touch sending a jolt of electricity through me.
“Come on,” she whispered, her voice soft but insistent.
I didn’t need to be told twice. We slipped away from the group, moving through the quiet hallways until we found a secluded corner.
Chowon turned to me, her eyes dark and predatory, but there was a tenderness there too. “You’re incredible, you know that?”
I smirked, stepping closer. “Takes one to know one.”
Her hand slid up my arm, her touch grounding and electrifying all at once. “They’re starting to see you, Dino. The real you. It’s working.”
I tilted my head, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “You make it easier.”
The predator in me stirred, recognizing her as my equal, my mate. And for once, I didn’t fight it. As our lips met, the masks we wore for the group slipped away, leaving only the raw, unfiltered bond between us. In between messy hungry kisses, Chowon said, “You have no idea how angry I was when Donny came after you. I should have let you tear into him. We should have torn into them all,” Chowon said as her inner lioness sheds its meek mask. Her eyes shone with that familiar hunger. I feel imperious come out and Chowon purrs in satisfaction. “There’s my partner in crime. My equal.” She moans as she goes in for another kiss. we spend the rest of the night together cuddling and enjoying each other's presence.
The moonlight filtered through the cracked blinds of the safe house as Chowon moved silently through the halls. The group had settled in for the night, their murmured conversations and quiet laughter fading into the background. But her focus wasn’t on them. It was on Donny.
She found him sitting alone near the back entrance, fiddling with the straps of his boots. He looked up when he sensed her presence, his posture stiffening.
“Chowon,” he said, his voice cautious. “Something you need?”
Her usual mask—kind, bashful, unassuming—was nowhere to be found. Instead, there was an intensity in her eyes, something primal and dangerous that froze Donny in place. She stepped closer, and though her movements were slow and deliberate, there was an undeniable power in them, like a lioness stalking her prey.
“You’ve got a lot to say about my equal,” she began, her voice low and sharp as a blade. “Too much.”
Donny blinked, his mouth opening to respond, but no words came out.
Chowon leaned in, her face inches from his, and the predatory edge in her gaze made him shrink back. “Listen to me carefully, Donny,” she said, her tone steady and calm, but laced with the unmistakable promise of violence. “If you ever come after Dinozen like that again, I will tear your throat out.”
The words hung in the air like a death sentence, and for a moment, Donny was too stunned to react. He could feel the weight of her presence, the raw, animalistic power she usually kept buried beneath her quiet demeanor.
And then, just as quickly as it had surfaced, it was gone. Chowon straightened, the warmth returning to her eyes as she tilted her head and gave him a gentle, almost apologetic smile. “You should get some rest,” she said sweetly as if nothing had happened. “Long day tomorrow.”
She turned and walked away, leaving Donny sitting there, still trying to process what had just happened.
As Chowon disappeared into the shadows, the predator within her purred in satisfaction. Her equal was safe, and the balance had been restored. For now.
We were nearly ready to leave the safe house, the group moving like a well-oiled machine, though the unease of what lay ahead was palpable. I busied myself with the perimeter, scanning the tree line and listening for any sound out of place. The air had a weight to it, a sense that something wasn’t right, but I chalked it up to nerves.
Then the ground started trembling.
“Everyone, on alert!” I shouted, my voice cutting through the bustle.
The first thing I saw was the treeline parting as a massive creature—a hulking monstrosity of decay and muscle—lurched forward. It shouldn’t have been able to move so fast, but it did, each step shaking the earth. And then it opened its mouth and breathed fire.
“Scatter!” I roared, drawing my weapon and placing myself between the group and the beast.
Chaos erupted as flames licked the edges of the safe house, forcing the others to dive for cover. My heart pounded, the predator within me straining against my control, but I couldn’t let it take over. Not now. Not in front of them.
The monster charged, and I met it head-on, weaving past its fiery breath and slashing at its joints. My strikes landed, but this thing wasn’t going down easy. Every swing of its massive claws forced me back, each roar rattling my bones.
“Dino!” Chowon’s voice reached me, frantic and desperate.
“Stay with them!” I barked, not daring to look at her. “I’ve got this!”
But the beast had other plans. Its massive claw lashed out, wrapping around me like a vice. I thrashed, slashing and kicking, but it was no use. The world tilted as it yanked me off the ground, dragging me away.
“Chowon!” I shouted, but I couldn’t see her anymore. Only the burning horizon and the sound of the group retreating.
Sakura grabbed her arm. “Chowon, we have to go!”
“I’m not leaving him!” she snarled, her voice raw with emotion.
The group hesitated, torn between their loyalty to Chowon and their survival instincts. Finally, Leo spoke, his voice heavy with regret. “We don’t have a choice. He wouldn’t want us to die here.”
The group began to retreat, dragging Chowon with them. She fought them every step of the way, but eventually, she relented, her eyes never leaving the direction Dinozen had been taken.
An hour later, Chowon sat alone by the charred remains of a tree, her knees pulled to her chest. Her mind raced, torn between worry for Dinozen and guilt for letting the group leave without her.
The sound of approaching footsteps made her tense, her hand instinctively going to her knife. A figure emerged from the shadows—a tall man with dark eyes and a calm, almost disarming smile.

Predator Prey
✨️Kink Education with Elizabeth✨️
If you are into scratching, biting, grunting, and growling, you may have a Primal Play kink.
Primal play, also known as Predator/prey, is a dynamic between a sub and dom that typically involves the dom hunting down the sub before intercourse. A lot of people mix this with pet/animal play, but they are different. Pet/animal play involves at least one party dehumanizing themselves and taking the role of an animal. Primal play does not involve that.
Primal play finds its roots before we began civilized, and before sex began being seen as a sin as pushed by religion and church. Primal play is a way to revert back to that animalistic instinct of survival by letting us play with our basic needs, aka: breeding, food, and self-protection.
Predator prey is known for being a rougher form of play as well, the sex is a little more demanding, its rough, and it typically can cause the dom to leave a little more satisfied than the sub, especially when following traditional instinct and roles (sorry ladies.) It is an important for this play type to really focus on prediscussed consent and safe word communication.
Primal play also typically involves a struggle between the parties for dominance, something this fic does skip over because while I see Eris enjoying the hunt, I can't see him enjoying his mate struggling below him, even if it is consensual, due to his family history. I apologize. I skipped that aspect, but you all may have noticed the absolute Crackship I have another predator prey set up for. That couples going to go down swinging no matter how I write that dynamic.

You shouldn't have been in the woods this late. You knew it was dangerous and that the trees themselves were awake and alerting any waiting predators that an unarmed female was walking alone through them.
After hours of dealing with your father in law, you had just wanted a few moments alone and made the choice to walk to the cabin you shared with Eris instead of winnowing.
That had been a mistake. Despite being in a seasonal court, day and night still shifted with the rest of the world, and golden rays of light gave in to star patterned darkness much too fast for comfort. You huddled your hood tighter, ignoring the bite of the autumn chill, and kept walking.
“Well, well, well,” the snap of a branch made you jump, heart beating faster as you froze. “What do we have here? A pretty mouse all by herself?”
You spun quickly, eyes wide as your husband approached with 3 hounds flanking him and growling. “Eris-” he shot you a look, silencing you.
“What you're going to do, little mouse, is run. You are going to turn and run and hope I don't catch you.” He took a step toward you, one you mirrored by stepping back. “Because if I catch you, I fuck you, and that would be mercy compared to what lurks in these woods just begging to get their teeth into you.”
He took another step, a bigger one causing you to stare straight at his chest until you looked up. He kissed you gently, the only gentle thing you knew you would get tonight before sliding one of his hounds training toys into the pocket of your cloak. “Run.”
You knew from the moment you accepted the bond, Eris was a bit of a sadist. But you also knew the first time that curtain dropped and your husband chained you to a wall, spanking you until your legs gave out, that you were a masochist. His mistake was calling you a mouse, though. You knew Eris had no understanding of how intelligent mice were. Mice were natural students, learning and adapting to their environment and tricks.
And you? You had learned.
You ran finding a large tree to abandon the cloak on before winnowing about 15 feet away, taking the training toy with you. You watched as Orion, Astrid, and Nova sat at the tree, looking up at Eris, then back to the cloak. Orion whined loudly, nudging the fabric as Eris growled.
Those hounds would never hurt you. Those hounds were chasing you for fun. And you had spoiled it. You cracked a branch on purpose, smiling and laughing as Nova perked back up, then began running towards where you had taken off from.
“Cheap tricks won't help you, mouse!” The dark laughter in his voice has your core tightening. You ran faster, heading near the direction of the cabin enough that he wouldn't think anything of it.
You were actually aiming for the lake nearby, though. Wanting him to fuck you under the full moon and all of her stars. Wanting to feel him pressing you into the dirt.
Eris caught your right as you reached it, a soft laugh as he did, and he took you rolling into the dirt and grass. Settling on top of you, Eris smirked. “This isn't home, mouse.”
You tossed the toy, listening as the hound Cheerfully began playing. Submission was setting in, creeping through your bones like an old ache. “No, sir.”
His warm hand came, holding your throat. “If you wanted to be fucked like an animal, y/n, you just had to ask.” You moaned at the words, at him seeing through you. He got up, forcing you on to your stomach, and began ripping the dress you were wearing. He placed a hand back on your neck, holding you down and leaning into you, whispering in your ear. “Do animals get prepared, mouse? Remind me.”
“No, sir,” it came out as more of a whimper than a sentence, a moan leaving your throat soon after. Eris wad grinding himself against you, cock straining heavily in his pants.
Eris was inside of you mere moments later, heavy cock stretching you open with a delicious burn. He was growling above you, rutting into you over and over while you wiggled and whimpered below him.
Nights like this, nights where sex was a mesh of teeth, of bruises, of thrusts so deep you could feel every inch of him lighting you on fire, normally meant Eris had a long day, a day where he felt no control, no joy. A day where he felt belittled.
Sex like this wasn't about you, and if you came, it was a reward. Sex like this was about Eris. You knew when he calmed down after this, when he would eventually carry you to the cabin, he'd take his time making love to you there until you were no more than a soaked mess below him, body pliant and spent from countless orgasms.
You whimpered as the thrusts grew harder, pushing you into the grass as your nails dug into the soft earth. Eris's growls were becoming louder, an occasional groan thrown in as he took you wildly with no regard for your body.
You were dripping for him, panting his name between wails of pleasure and soft cries of need. You loved sex like this, loved when he held you down, when he allowed you to make him work for it. To make him hunt you down.
You felt the first twitch of his cock, clenching around him in response and smiled into the ground. “All mine,” he grunted above you. “You are all mine, do you hear me?” His mouth came to your neck, licking and sucking your pulse point.
“Gonna fuck you until you don't even know your own name.” It was a promise, a zap engraving itself on your skin as he held your hand. He chuckled darkly again, your mind melting into those soft kisses contrasting against each sharp movement inside of you.
His breathing was becoming as labored as your own, his groans becoming more and more frenzied and desperate. “Cum inside me, Eris. Mark me as yours,” his grip on your hip became impossibly tight.
One more thrust had your walls tightening around him.
Another had you screaming his name as teeth sunk into your pulse point, bruising and marking that tender flesh.
The last had you babbling, moaning, and whining as you were violently thrown from the edge, squeezing and clenching around him over, over, and over again until he was spilling into you, filling you as he groaned and lapped away the blood he drew.
You both calmed, you still wiggling below him as a few last sloppy rolls of his hips worked to drive you into over stimulation.
Eris peppered soft kisses along your jawline, up to your temple, into your hair. “You okay?”
“Again.” He smiled into you, leaning to kiss you deeply.
“When we get home, after you eat and bathe, I will make all your sick dreams come true, mouse. I promise."

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8 Part 9 Part 10 Part 11 Part 12 Part 13 Part 14 Part 15 Part 16 Part 17 Part 18 Part 19 Part 20 Part 21 Part 22 Part 23 Part 24 Part 25 Part 26 Part 27 Part 28 Part 29 Finale
Pairing : Y/n x dealer!Chris Sturniolo
Summary : Law student Y/n’s life takes a turn when she reconnects with Chris, her brief teenage flame who is now a dealer for a dangerous Boston drug gang. As their bond reignites, Y/n is drawn into Chris’s tumultuous world, where rival gangs clash and loyalty is everything. Balancing her love for Chris with her own ambitions, can their connection survive the chaos that threatens to pull them apart?
Warnings : MDNI, angst, cursing, mentions of death, mentions of murder
We pulled up to Y/n’s house just after 2:30, the noise of the car's engine dying down as we parked in the driveway. The air was crisp, a subtle chill hinting at an incoming storm.  I stepped out first, popping the trunk to grab the bags. The routine of it – helping her, making her laugh, pretending like everything was normal, helped distract me from what was coming next.
Once inside, I dropped the bags in her bedroom and glanced around. Her place always had this warm, lived in feeling that made me feel like I belonged, even if I didn’t. Y/n followed me in, smiling like I’d just made her day.
“Oh, by the way” she said, her voice teasing, “Mom and Dad are gone for the next week, so I’ve got the place to myself if you want to stay?” She raised an eyebrow, playful but hopeful. “I can cook tonight if you’d like.”
Her tone, her smile, it almost made me forget about what I had to face later. Almost.
I grinned, playing along because I couldn’t bring myself to break the moment. “That sounds perfect. And if it’s anything like the chicken you made last time, I’m all in.”
She laughed, that soft, genuine sound that always made me feel like I was doing something right. “Perfect. Chicken it is.”
For a second, it felt like nothing could touch us. Just two people, together, planning a quiet evening. But then my phone buzzed in my pocket, snapping me back to reality. I glanced at the screen and saw Nate’s name.
“Nate says my car’s back at his” I said, keeping my tone neutral, even as unease settled in my gut. “I should probably go get it and return the rental.”
Her smile faltered, just slightly, and I hated myself for noticing. “Yeah, that’s cool” she said, brushing it off like it didn’t matter. “I’ll see you later then, when you’re finally a free man!”
I chuckled, but the words hit harder than she probably realized. A free man. It sounded so simple when she said it, but it was anything but. “Free man is right” I said, leaning in to kiss her, quick and soft, before pulling back.
“I’ll be back around 8ish?” I added, pretending like it was just another errand, like I wasn’t about to walk into something that could change everything. “Who knows how long this talk with Vince is gonna take.”
She nodded, her expression unreadable, but her voice was soft. “8 is cool with me. Be safe, and keep me updated.”
“I will” I promised, knowing it was a lie I couldn’t avoid. I kissed her again, slower this time, trying to memorize the way her lips felt against mine. Part of me wanted to stay, to hold onto this version of life a little longer.
Finally, I pulled away and made my way to the balcony. I paused by the door, flicking the fairy lights on and off three times, my little ritual to secretly tell her I love her. I glanced back to see her smile, and it hit me how much I didn’t want to leave.
But I did.
I climbed down into the treehouse, the rain starting to pick up again as I jogged to my car. I drove in silence, gripping the wheel tighter than I needed to.
I drove to Nate’s place first, figuring I’d pick him up before heading out to return the rental. I knocked once before stepping inside.
“Nate!” I called out, shutting the door behind me. The house was quiet, the kind of silence that felt off. “You here?”
From the hallway, he emerged, stepping out of Danny’s room like he’d seen a ghost. His face was pale, his eyes darting like he was processing a million things at once. In one hand, he held my keys and a small airtag, in the other, a crumpled piece of paper he seemed to be gripping for dear life.
“What’s up?” I asked, motioning toward the airtag. “What’s that?”
“Your stuff?” Nate muttered, his voice unusually clipped. He handed me the keys and the airtag in a quick, jerky motion, like he couldn’t get rid of them fast enough.
I frowned, holding the airtag up. “What the hell is this? It’s not mine.”
“Its not?” Nate responded, looking like the cogs were turning in his head.
I blinked, confused. “Yeah I don’t own one of these. Where did you get this?”
At that, Nate froze. His face changed, his eyes narrowing, jaw tightening, like something had just clicked in his head.
“What?” I asked, my voice sharper now. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
“This just keeps getting better and better” Nate muttered, his tone dripping with sarcasm as he rubbed his temple.
I stood there, still clutching the airtag, my confusion mounting with every passing second. “Can you tell me what’s going on, man?” I asked, my voice sharper now, teetering on frustration.
“That thing” Nate said slowly, almost like he didn’t want to say it out loud, “was stuck on your car, dude. The mechanic handed it to me earlier.”
My stomach dropped. For a moment, I just stared at him, the weight of his words settling in my chest like a boulder. “What do you mean stuck? Like.. someone planted it?”
A cold chill ran through me, my mind racing. It didn’t make sense, at least, I didn’t want it to. “Who would-”
“Vince.” Nate cut me off, his voice low and certain. “Who else?
I looked down at the air tag in my hand, my mind racing. “Do you really think it was him?” I asked, lifting the small device between my fingers.
“100%, Chris” Nate replied without hesitation. “That’s how they knew your every move the night of the shooting. That’s how they kept showing up everywhere. They’d been following you that whole time through that.”
I clenched my fist around the airtag, my mind flashing back to the chaotic night of the shooting. Vince’s words from the night before at the docks echoed in my head, and they sent a chill down my spine. “Distractions” he’d said.
“Vince mentioned something about distractions the night someone was in the warehouse.” My voice cracked as I pieced it together. “Do you think the shooting happened because he thought it would scare the ‘distractions’ off?”
Nate’s eyes widened as he processed my words. “It lines up. That must’ve been when they planted the air tag, when you were fighting that guy with the knife. Vince probably wanted to send a message, to make sure you knew who was in control.”
As soon as he said it, a memory surfaced like a bad dream.
The knife. The one Nate had tripped over when we tried to hide my car. My stomach turned as the realization hit me.
Both of our eyes locked together at that moment. “The knife” I said, my voice trembling. “The one in the warehouse. Vince’s knife. You think.. you think he set that up too?”
Nate looked me dead in the eyes, his expression grave. “He’s been testing you, Chris. Every move, every so called accident, it’s all him. He’s been watching to see how loyal you are, to see if you’ll bend or break. Makes sense why the sedan was at the docks the next morning, he was probably paying them off then and there.”
I felt a surge of anger rise in my chest, hot and blinding. “Testing me?” I spat, my voice rising. “For what? To see if I’ll roll over like a dog and keep taking orders? I’m meeting him at 6pm today and telling him how it is. I’m done”
“No Chris, you can't. You can’t tell him you’re out.” Nate urges.
“I can’t let this slide, Nate. I can’t just do nothing. I have to tell Vince I’m out, or I’ll lose Y/n. I can’t lose her, Nate. I can’t just stand by and let Vince dictate my life. I have to end this.” My tone becoming more definite.
“Chris I’m not fucking kidding around. You go there and you’ll end up like Danny.” Nate looks at me, full of fury, like he could knock me out if he wanted to.
“What are you talking about?” I ask, starting to get more pissed off.
Nate held up the crumpled paper in his other hand, his expression darkening further.
“What’s that?” I asked, my chest tightening.
Nate hesitated for a moment, then handed the paper over. The words were rushed, scrawled like Danny had written them in a panic.
To whoever finds this,
I’ve made up my mind - I’m going to talk to Vince.
I know what you’re thinking, it’s stupid, it’s reckless, but maybe, just maybe, it’s the only way. I’ve been around this business long enough to see how things go when someone tries to leave. Sneaking off, running scared, hiding, it never works. Vince sees it as betrayal, plain and simple, and betrayal gets you killed.
But what if it doesn’t have to be that way? What if the only way out is through?
I’ve been close enough to Vince over the years to know he respects strength, respects people who have the guts to stand their ground. Maybe if I’m man enough to look him in the eye and tell him the truth, I can make him see reason. I don’t want to go behind his back. I don’t want to run. I just want out, clean and simple.
I know it’s a long shot. Hell, I know it’s dangerous, but what other choice do I have? If I don’t try, I’m stuck in this life forever, and I can’t live like this anymore.
So, if you’re reading this, it means I was wrong. It means Vince didn’t see it the way I hoped he would. Maybe I underestimated him. Maybe I underestimated how much this life has twisted us all.
If that’s the case, if something happens to me, just know this: it wasn’t for nothing. I wanted something better, something clean. And if you’re still in this life, take this as a warning. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Don’t think you can reason with a man who doesn’t see people, only tools.
Stay safe. And if you can, get out before you’re in too deep.
- Danny
I stood there with my jaw on the floor, unable to process what I was reading. My voice came out in a hoarse whisper. “Vince killed Danny?”
Nate didn’t say anything at first, just gave a grim nod. The silence was deafening, his expression confirming what I already knew but didn’t want to believe.
“This is why you can’t meet with Vince” Nate said firmly, breaking the silence. His voice was low and urgent. “If you go to him, Chris, he’ll kill you too. You know that, right?”
I ran a hand through my hair, pacing the room like a caged animal. “Then what the fuck am I supposed to do, Nate?” I snapped, my frustration boiling over. “What am I meant to do, huh? Keep running? Keep pretending this isn’t my life? You know as well as I do there’s no way out of this.”
“Chris-” Nate started, but I cut him off.
“No, seriously. Why the fuck did we ever get into this life? It’s like quicksand. Every move we make just drags us deeper. And you’ve said it yourself Nate, the only way out is a body bag!”
I stopped pacing, my chest heaving, and looked at him, expecting a retort. But instead, Nate just stared at me, his expression shifting like he’d just pieced something together.
“You’re right.” he said, almost too calm for the moment.
“What?” I asked, taken aback.
“That’s exactly what we need.” Nate said, his voice gaining momentum.
I narrowed my eyes at him, unsure where he was going with this. “What the hell are you talking about?”
“We need to make Vince think you’re dead.” Nate said, the words coming out as if he’d just uncovered the solution to all our problems.
I blinked at him, unsure whether to laugh or punch him. “You’re joking, right?”
“I’m not” he said, stepping closer. “Think about it. The only way Vince stops coming after you or using you is if he believes you’re gone for good. No loose ends, no doubts. You disappear, and he moves on.”
I stared at him, trying to gauge if he was serious. “You want me to fake my death?”
“Yes.” Nate said, his tone resolute. “It’s the only way to get out alive, Chris. You said it yourself, this life doesn’t let go. But if Vince thinks you’re dead, he’ll stop looking for you. You can get out. Really get out.”
The weight of his words hit me like a freight train. My mind raced through the implications, the risks, the fallout. “And what about Y/n?” I asked, my voice cracking. “What happens to her? What do I tell her?”
Nate hesitated for the briefest moment, then met my eyes. “You don’t tell her, Chris. You can’t. We have to make this seem real, believable. The more people who know, the more likely Vince finds out. You fake your death, and you walk away from everything. It’s the only way to keep her safe.”
I stared at him, complete disbelief etched into every part of my face. “You’re out of your mind. Y/n will-”
“She’ll grieve” Nate interrupted, his voice softening. “But she’ll be alive. And so will you. That’s what matters.”
I felt my chest tighten, the pressure of this decision closing in on me. “And where am I supposed to go? What am I supposed to do while the whole world thinks I’m dead?”
“You stay with me.” Nate said simply. “Lay low at my place. Vince won’t look for you here. We’ll make it convincing, make sure the word is given to the right people, and once the heat dies down, we figure out what’s next.”
I swallowed hard, the reality of the plan sinking in. It was reckless. It was cruel. But it was the only way.
I shook my head, the enormity of the plan sinking in. “You’re insane, Nate. This…this is insane.”
“Maybe” he said, stepping closer, his voice steady. “But it’s the only shot you’ve got. Otherwise, Vince will never stop. He’ll take you out, and then he’ll come for her too. Is that what you want?”
The thought of Y/n in Vince’s crosshairs made my stomach churn. Every fiber of my being screamed against leaving her, but the reality was staring me in the face.
I took a shaky breath, my mind a storm of doubt and fear. “How the hell are we even supposed to pull this off?”
Nate gave me a grim smile. “We’ll figure it out. But trust me, Chris, this is your only way out.”
a/n: next chapter might be extremely long (the linked sentence goes back to a lil bit of foreshadowing in part 11 hehe)

some choice quotes from here, emphasis mine:
"Thedas needs someone they can count on**. Rise as Rook, Dragon Age’s newest hero. Be who you want to be and play how you want to play as you fight to stop the gods from blighting the world. But you can’t do this alone – the odds are stacked against you. Lead a team of seven companions, each with their own rich story to discover and shape, and together you will become The Veilguard. Rally the Veilguard and defy the gods [...] become the leader others believe in."
** just like Varric said in the reveal trailer : ) Blighting the world.. uh ohhh : )
"The world is teetering on a knife’s edge while corrupt gods unleash havoc across the continent. Nations war, and factions splinter. Who will you trust? From the Arlathan Forest to the back alleys of Minrathous, this is a broken world. Your actions will affect the fate of Thedas forever."
Factions splintering 👀 reminds me of the potential Grey Warden civil war stuff hinted in DA:I. I feel like we will encounter different 'factions' within the factions (potential for drama and betrayal ensues!)
"Rook isn’t afraid of a fight, no matter the odds. No matter the cost."
hhh we're in danger :)
"Battle darkspawn, demons from beyond the Veil, dragons that rule the skies**, and unique enemies as you advance your quest and fight for Thedas’s future."
** Flemeth's daughter Yavana once said: "Your heart beats with the old blood, as well. Where do you think it comes from? It sings of a time when dragons ruled the skies. A time before the Veil, before the mysteries were forgotten. Can you hear it?" : )
"Your team is full of individuals with grim and wondrous histories, their own personal struggles and motivations, and rare skills that’ll help you survive."
:D
"discover unique, powerful artifacts to enhance your own combat style"
I wonder what this refers to. Like the gear and runes and such?
"Brace yourself: there are tough decisions to be made, allies to inspire, and a fight that needs every sword, staff, and bow you can muster."

Wailing reading that damn riddle fic aaaaaa. Okay again, not a riddle fucker but the fic fucks me from behind. Absent during the eels' fic release but here I am, present for Riddle's???
But well my favorite part of the fic has to be… there are few. Riddle taunting us with the locket, Riddle asking us to sit down, both Riddle and Reader just acting like there’s red in the scenery, reader’s reflection urging us to escape is also a cherry… Moros’ eyes flickering from gray to red then to gray, yummy…
When you made it look like we got our victorious ending, I was like, “damn this isn't Meraki if it’s not a bad or angst ending” and bam, moros is backkkkk. I'm salivating for Moros's return. It's not Meraki if there’s no breeding or this kind of ending where it benefits the Yan.
But I can't help but wonder how Octatrio’s moros version would be…. Azul's crybaby moros... crying when he looked at us leaving... (kicking legs, him screaming 'he had enough' just before he OB), Floyd's moros might be more emotionally sad than angry if compared to Jade's(?)
While Floyd was thinking about finding a way to drag you back just because he was heartbroken and lonely, Jade was thinking of a way to drag you back out of... anger? Definitely something more sinister than all them 3 combined.
AAAAAA (♡ˊ͈ ꒳ ˋ͈) OMG OMG FANTASTIC ART!!!! I love the necklace around darling's neck,,, Moros trapped within, only able to cry and whine like a baby mwahaha.... so perfect. This is exactly how I imagine it hehe. The children make Moros's Looking Glass into a pretty necklace and now darling wears him around like a badge of honor. It's her "I survived the weird monster in the mirror" symbol of pride. And Moros/OB!Riddle himself!!!!! So sinister with the locket!!! That proud and devious expression is so amazing!! >w< he's such a taunt! >:(
LOL it really isn't a merakiui fic if there's no breeding kink or overall bad time for the darling. ^^;;;; it crept in only slightly during the part where Moros looks at darling and basically hints that he'd knock her up if it wasn't for the fact that she's infertile. Moros is a freak. OTL
:O omg the Octa Moros!!! Azul would be so volatile,, definitely immensely jealous of his counterpart. Such a hateful creature. >_< I think if any of them has a chance at having darling all for themselves it would likely be one of the twins. Jade's Moros has the patience and the intelligence to play an expert role, which hides the ominous anger bubbling just beneath. Floyd's Moros can appeal to darling's weak emotional state as she grieves the original Floyd...... aaaa but Azul's Moros is much too dangerous. He will throw a tantrum when she refuses to be his!!! Just one of them is bad enough, but if you have all three pining for you.... ;;; good luck,,,
