I know I headcanon Della as aro/arospec because she’s my fave and I’m aro but it also works surprising well??

She has no canon past or current love interests. No one ever mentions the boys’ dad. Not even once. He probably doesn’t exist or if he does, he was just some random guy with no importance to the family whatsoever.

There are some popular ships with Della (some of which I really like!) but at the end of the day, they aren’t canon.

There is no mention of Della being interested in romance. The closest thing we got was when Penumbra mentioned she went on a date and Della got excited. However, this says nothing about Della’s feelings about herself dating. Only that she was happy for her best friend.

To be fair, the show being silent on Della’s feelings towards romance doesn’t mean she’s not interested. It just wasn’t brought up. However, since there is hardly any aro rep in media I am taking what I can so yeah, she is aro/arospec.

Finally, DuckTales is full of unconventional families so its really not hard to believe that the boys were supposed to be raised by their mom and uncles. No dad needed!
