its interesting to note how that scene plays out very differently than any instance of spanish, since all the hispanic characters seem to be fluent and just pepper in insults, terms of endearment or entire phrases in conversations that are otherwise fully in english, while the italian here is pretty nonsensical and spoken by a character who's implied to have italian descent but doesnt seem to actually speak the language, only know a few things here and there (which as someone with italian great grandparents i throughly relate to lol)

this is an honest question i would honestly love an answer to. in either hazbin hotel or helluva boss has a single character spoken a language that not english or spanish?

#im being fr that i dont know what to make of all of this its just on my mind sometimes #i do know tho that like the first instance of val speaking spanish came specifically from his va taking inspiration from his own experience #every time joel tells the story he says he improvised val cursing in spanish bc sometimes when he gets angry he curses in spanish #maybe its just that spanish is more common in the us than other non-english languages #and trying to make sense of the hellaverse makes me tired honestly #YOU KNOW WHAT I WOULD LOVE THO. YOU HAVE ALL THESE IMPORTANT HISPANIC CHARACTERS. LETS HAVE A WHOLE SCENE IN SPANISH.
