*aimless eldritch screeching*
#we were in such a rush with the last editing round w/ the first three HoR books when we were visually redoing the ebooks#i think WH and EW are fine but. SH. the first book. the one that gives everybody the series' first impression.#just badly needed another go-over#the thing about the first book is that it is inevitably the worst#simply because it was written with less experience#and each time we alter it we have more experience than the last alteration (and oftentimes a better sleep schedule)#this stuff will be finalized when Starlit Prince is out and not a day sooner#we love HoR dearly but in some ways we are looking forward to projects where we will simply start fresh with our several decades of skills#and not have to revise things over and over again#we have sworn a sacred oath (lifelong hyperfixation) to bring HoR to life to the best of our abilities tho so until then we hone
