#we know trans women have the public animosity

This is the top comment on an Erin Reed article. She needs to call this poster out if she wants to continue doing good work or she will expose herself as having a bias for trans women and make her website unsafe for trans men and trans mascs. Especially since this article is about prohibiting trans healthcare where illegally processing T has much harsher consequences than illegally possessing E.
This isnât a suffering competition and we need to not fight over âwho has it worseâ because it doesnât matter. The moment you add another victim to the âthemâ category you make it unsafe for them to stand by your side and fight.
We are together in this. And you look like an idiot when you say this in the instance where your example would be kinder to trans women than trans men.
#erin reed#do not let this disdain become an acceptable outlet for frustration#being ignored does not mean trans men have it easier#it means we are left unable to compete at all in trans sport bans#and attacks on reproductive rights harm us too#we know trans women have the public animosity#we know the right imagines a trans woman whenever they want to attack trans people#but that doesnât mean it doesnât hurt us too

Everybody does the exact same stupid shit. That white nationalist anon I was getting a while ago would send me story after story of some random black guy or immigrant committing a violent crime against a white person. Well, yeah, people are violent, you're gonna find those if you go looking for them. And there's a lot of racial animosity in the world, so you'll even find racially charged ones if you go looking! No shit, Sherlock. We could play this game all day. You find me a news story of a black guy killing a white guy, I find you a news story of white guy killing a black guy. This does no one any good.
TERFs are identical. News story after news story of a trans woman raping somebody. Yeah, the world is an awful place and people rape each other. I can find you a news story of a cis woman raping a teenage boy and getting three months in jail. I can find you a news story of a cis mom killing her disabled kid cause they're too much work. But I don't want to. The world sucks shit, why gorge yourself on the tragedy?
Zionists come up with news story after news story of pro-Palestinian/BDS/whatever protestors being antisemitic. Yep. A lot of people out there hate Jews. And there has been a genuine rise in antisemitism since the Oct. 7th attack, and that's awful. There are no excuses for that. Do you know what else has happened since then? The Israeli military has slaughtered tens of thousands of Palestinians, including huge numbers of innocent civiliansâmen, women and children.
People are often terrible to each other. Welcome to Earth. If you go looking for bad actors in a big enough group, you are guaranteed to find them. How about this. What about all the black people who didn't kill a white little girl? What about the black little girls? What about their hopes and dreams? What about their chance at life? What about all the trans women who didn't rape anybody in a bathroom? What if they just want to go about their lives, without constant public scrutiny of what genitals they have (as a cis woman, can you empathize with that? Constant public scrutiny of what you're doing with your genitals?). What about the 30,000 Palestinians who have been killed, and the 70,000 who have been displaced from their homes?
Fear has made you a monster. Fear has driven you to demand slaughter and oppression of innocent people because they look like guilty people you read about on the news, and since they look the same to you, you feel fearfulâhow can you tell whether these are the innocent ones or the guilty ones? Best to oppress and slaughter them preemptively just to be safe. I am here to tell you that this twisted logic of self-defense does not hold. I do not care if you feel safeâI do not care if you are safeâif the cost of your safety is innocent life. The world is a risky place. I am not going to deny that. Horrible things could happen to any of us. If we go around preemptively attacking other over it, we do not make it a bit better. And, needless to say, danger comes from everywhere, from every group of human beings, and oppressing the people who make you nervous will not, in fact, deliver you from danger. It just makes you a monster.

One of the countryâs leading columnists has taken a swipe at her employer for capitulating to âleft-wing bulliesâ who have restricted critical discussion about transgender rights.
Hadley Freeman, a staff writer at The Guardian, said that she did not feel supported by the newspaper for daring to voice doubts about âgender ideologyâ.
The writer said she was isolated in advocating for âwomen-only spacesâ and arguing that there was a âclear clash between gender-based rights and womenâs rightsâ.
In an article for UnHerd, a website that champions free speech, she said that Guardian editors prevented her from writing about the vilification of JK Rowling because it would create âtoo much of a Twitter stormâ.
The Harry Potter author became a target for some transgender rights campaigners in 2020 when she said she criticised attempts to âerode âwomanâ as a political and biological classâ.
Freeman, 43, said she stopped writing her column because she âwas tired of being seen as the Phyllis Schlafly of The Guardianâ, a reference to the American conservative firebrand.
She added: âI see left-wing feminist writers being funnelled towards right-wing publications, simply because left-wing ones are too anxious to stay on The Right Side of History to publish them. This makes it easier for the left-wing bullies to discredit them, but it does not make what theyâre saying any less true.â
Freeman said she considered quitting journalism because of âcowardly institutions that have allowed themselves to be bullied by a tiny misogynistic online minorityâ.
âI felt so hated for saying things â things that are scientifically, biologically and factually true â and so unsupported by people who I know secretly agree with me but are too scared to say so out loud,â she wrote.
Freeman stressed that her belief in womenâs rights did not equate to her having anti-trans views. âI certainly feel no anger or animosity towards trans people,â she said. âThe only feeling I have towards them is compassion. Not to the point where Iâm willing to give up all of womenâs sex-based rights, no. But I do know I can only imagine the trauma and pain they have endured in their lives.â
Freemanâs writing in The Guardianâs Weekend magazine won her columnist of the year at the 2021 British Society of Magazine Editors Awards. She will continue to contribute to UnHerd alongside her work for The Guardian.
Her column came just days after The New York Times faced criticism over an advert that made reference to JK Rowling. The US newspaper invited people to imagine the world of Harry Potter âwithout its creatorâ.
The newspaper was accused of trying to âcancelâ Rowling over her views on transgender rights. Many pointed out that there would be no Harry Potter without the author, who created the character in 1997.
Suzanne Moore, another Guardian columnist, resigned in 2020 after claiming she was bullied out of the newspaper for trying to write about the âtrans debateâ. Also writing in UnHerd, she said that her work was edited to delete comments âabout female experience belonging to people with female bodiesâ.
She said: âSomehow, this very idea is being blocked, not explicitly, but it certainly isnât being published. My editors say things like, âIt didnât really add to the argumentâ, or it is a âdistractionâ from the argument.â The Guardian said at the time: âWe wish Suzanne all the best with her future career and are sorry to see her leave.â
The paper has been approached for comment.

IN REFERENCE TO RYANTI
Hello, this is the leadership of Gold and Glory. We wanted to take a moment to provide a public statement regarding a former member of ours, Ryanti. As of last night, a very informative post https://dice-domino.tumblr.com/post/185025005485/ffxiv-known-abuser-ryanti-veanysus was made, detailing confessions from women that Ryanti has emotionally manipulated, and proof of an anti-LGBT stance from him. Our first action, is to say that we want to thank these women for coming forward, and greenlighting their stories to be shared. Within hours of the post, Ryanti was removed from our FC group, all of our Linkshells, and associated Discords.
We did not make a statement at the time, as we needed a moment to think over what had happened, look over the stories, and reflect on our actions. We understand, there has been harsh criticism of our leadership for this incident, and the past incident involving Kale. We are not here to absolve ourselves of fault, or to claim perfection.
IN JANUARY, THE LEADER OF NOX CAME TO US WITH CONCERNS IN REGARD TO RYANTI. They provided us with a log between them and Ryanti, where they believe it showed Ryanti attempting to manipulate the relationship between our two FCs. They told us of rants Ryanti would have regarding G&G but unfortunately, did not have any logged copies for us to review them. We thanked them for their information, and informed them that the mods would be informed, and Ryanti watched for signs of him doing it again.
As the leadership of G&G, since no one had been sexually harassed, or assaulted, we chose to adopt a waiting stance. Further on, it was brought to our attention that a number of female members, had an issue regarding Ryanti. Once we were made aware of this situation, our moderator group at the time, had heavily debated what to do. Eventually, it was determined, that we would look into the claims made against him, and one of our moderators at the time, Bragi, had interviewed the women in question, and others who had began to warn us of him. Unfortunately, at the end of the investigation, we had not been provided solid logs against him, but individuals expressing that they have seen patterns
Furthermore, Ryanti's largest vocal critic Nox, had been repeatedly told to us by Ryanti, and others including her own past FC leader, the current NOX FC leader, that she had a history of lying which included, making claims against Ryanti that Lio, the FC leader, claimed were false. With this, and our own issues from having interacted with her, it was decided that we did not have enough information or damning evidence, to kick Ryanti from the FC. Instead, we decided that he would hold no officer position, and would remain under watch.
This decision was made in the September time frame. Two months roughly after we had been warned about Nox by Lio. No further information, or proof of wrongdoing had been presented to us, so we could not act. Following this, in January the incident regarding Kale occured, and during which Lio then contacted us with warnings about Ryanti trying to spread animosity between G&G and NOX. These logs were previously shown in the above portion.
We did not believe that we had enough evidence, to cause for us to remove him on the grounds of him in our eyes 'venting' to NOX leadership about us.
Further on, we noticed a post from Lio, stating that he had discovered something about someone he knew, but did not have permission to share it. This was a public tumblr post, and once brought to our attention, our leadership again reached out to let them know, that if anything was wrong to please let them know that they could come to our leadership.
Due to the vague nature of the post we could not guarantee it was Ryanti who was the subject of it. However, as of yesterday, 5/20/2019 it has been made clear that Ryanti was indeed the individual in question, as Lio went public with all of his information. https://dice-domino.tumblr.com/post/185025005485/ffxiv-known-abuser-ryanti-veanysus
What we saw on there, disgusted us. Shortly after it was posted, Ryanti was removed from our FC, Linkshells, and Discord. His emotional manipulation was made clear to us, and his Anti-trans stance was something we in no way support, or condone.
As FC leadership, we had tried to make calls based on the information we were given. Unfortunately, in this situation, we had made the wrong calls.
@Nox We are beyond sorry, that the character assassination presented to us, caused us to dismiss you. We were in the wrong, and while we know it may not mean much, we are deeply sorry for what it has done to our relationships.
To the other women that Ryanti had harassed, we are sorry as well. As Leadership, the choice we made had failed to keep a predator from our organization, and we had ended up being manipulated by his own words.
To our members, we are sorry that someone so toxic has been among you.
Gold and Glory, as a organization, believes in creating a safe place for our members. We have failed you in the past, but are committed to improving ourselves for the future. We have taken steps, to remove members posting anti-lgbt or disparaging comments. We have attempted to make the best calls we could, with evidence provided while attempting to be fair to all parties involved.
We will continue, to work on improving ourselves as an organization, and we will hold no tolerance for hateful views, or manipulation within our freecompany.
We have however, come to a conclusion. It is clear that between this situation, and the previous Kale incident, members of G&G leadership will be stepping down from their current positions. We ask you to please work with those that take their place, to help improve our community as a whole.
Going forward, Aegir Hlerson and Lirilith Maellen are stepping down from leaders and owners of G&G. Aedwen Tyrer, @shroud-trash Will become the acting FC leader, and administrative lead of G&G.Â
