Let's have a look at The Duchess of Gloucester at the Coronation!

Always impressively bejeweled, The Duchess did not disappoint. She wore two diamond rivière necklaces, a diamond cross pendant, large diamond earrings, and a diamond brooch all from the collection of Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester. Down her dress she wore three diamond daisy brooches that were once connected by a chain and lent to her daughter Lady Davina.

The most historic jewels were her bracelets. When King William IV ascended the throne, instead of creating a Royal Family Order he gave his relatives either a pair of diamond roses set with a miniature of himself and Queen Adelaide or a pair of enamel and pearl brooches with their cyphers.

The Duchess wears two of the roses on five strands of pearls.
