i just wanna clarify that when Israel "recovers bodies" of the hostages, they're not bringing back entire preserved, identifiable corpses. it's that the IDF found remains assumed to be human, removed them, did a DNA test to confirm they're human and on the hostage list, and then brought them back to Israel for burial.
