In the spirit of the holiday for him to see later, hehe
Nick, I remember when you literally stumbled upon me like a soggy cat. The way things were then are very different than they are now, and I think I recognize that more than you can ever fathom, haha.
You're so strong, and have continued to never hold anything in your heart but a still flickering warmth that perseveres and still holds kindness that comes so naturally because it's you. In all the time I've known you better, you remind me every day the image of humanity I fell in love with and held close to my own heart. I consider myself lucky that I ended up being someone you hold close to yours, as bleeding as it is.
Not everything is easy, and you've certainly not had that. I remember when you struggled with nightmares and sleepless nights, with needing to push yourself to get up and remembering to eat. We couldn't watch one bit of the source we lived for so long until I remember when you began to yearn for it(you've always yearned) and asked to see it again and we began to enjoy it. When the sleepless nights stopped, they turned into bundled up mornings in blanket forts. I remember when we finally experienced snow together and all we both wanted to do was lay down in it and see each other and realize this is a new series of experiences we're going to get to share and see that No Man's Land never would have let us have. We can have that now, and so much more.
Through your struggles, I am going to be there. I know I can trust, too, you'll be there for mine. You always are, even when you aren't sure of what to do. I was not your Vash, but that being so changed nothing when we chose each other.
Though my lives may continuously change(as I seem to discover more and that is not going to stop www) my love to you does not waver and we'll still be right at each other's sides. In every life.
For our tomorrows, Nick - for every one we'll share together. I love you.
Happy Valentines Day. ♡

LMAO top five anime
1. Trigun
“Vash the Stampede... every time I observe his actions I can't help but sense something hidden deep within him, something we can't being to understand. But this much is certain: everyone who has become involved with him has somehow regained an emotion which was once lost."
Trigun is one of my all-time favorite animes and it’s one of my absolute goals when it comes to writing tones in my fic.Â
I just love how the episodic formula lends itself well to a format where you can care about these characters by the time something serious happens to them.
I know, it’s an older anime, and a Space Western, which has turned a lot of my friends off from watching it. (and the first episode is not reflective at all of what the show actually is...)
It’s an older anime, so I recommend the Dub. (not that the OG Japanese isn’t good...) I just feel like the more humorous moments flow better with the Dub.Â
2. Princess Tutu
“And so, the prince and the princess lived happily ever… Happily!? Happiness in stories is, at most, a trifling matter of a couple of lines at the end — the epitome of boredom. Now, show me a magnificent tragedy! A cataclysm of tears from which not one of the players is saved, and to which a happy ending never comes!”
Okay, I lied... Princess Tutu does what Trigun does but like a thousand times better in terms of letting you care about the characters through a series of episodic events that you don’t think connect until the last moment.Â
I love how the entire thing is told like a ballet, or a classical grim fairytale, and the characters in the story have to literally rewrite their fates to change the ending
(For the IZ-fandom, if you love Melody’s Royalty AU... I guarantee you will LOVE Princess Tutu. That’s a promise)Â
(another anime I watch in English Dub, but the Dub is.......wonky in some places especially with a “child” character later down the line)Â
3. Wolf’s RainÂ
"They say there's no such place... as Paradise. Even if you search to the ends of the Earth, there's nothing there. No matter how far you walk, it's always the same road. It just goes on and on. But, in spite of that... why am I so driven to find it? A voice calls to me... it says, "Search for Paradise."
Wolf’s Rain is one of those animes that legitimately challenged the way I think as a person.Â
Warning, Wolf’s Rain is a Very sad story and many good Doggos die. It doesn’t have a happy ending. (well, depends on your interpretation of the ending)Â
I love how artistically they tell a story... and that it’s just literally a story about Wolves in the ApocolypseÂ
Not wolves that turn into Humans like the art sometimes has you believe. (they’re always Wolves) so it’s nice to see an animal look at humanity and the afterlife and question these types of thoughts.Â
I have seen this anime three times and I hope to rewatch it more.Â
(I really need to watch this in Japanese. I’ve only ever seen in English)Â
4. Madoka Magica
“If anyone ever tells me it’s a mistake to have hope, well then, I’ll just tell them they’re wrong. And I’ll keep telling them till they believe. No matter how many times it takes!”Â
Everything about this show is a spoiler but I can’t recommend it enough. The entire show is a masterpiece, the art and visuals are stunning, the emotions are high, and it’s 13 episodes, which is just the right length for an anime in my opinion. It never overstays its welcome and there is absolutely no filler. Every scene is important, even ones you think aren’t later become relevant.Â
But I love how it subverts the Magical Girl genre and I still adore it. (I haven’t seen the dub. So I recommend the OG Japanese for this one... )
I really want you to watch this one personally Pink. Just be prepared.Â
5. Naruto/ FMA Brotherhood.
I had to put the placeholder here for sentimental reasons.Â
Naruto is super long and I don’t recommend getting into it.
Brotherhood is not as long but still pretty long and I recommend that to everyone as a gateway drug anime.
Anyways... yeah.
I noticed my top four animes (the fifth hardly counts cus it’s there as a placeholder... but it’s still good) are mostly tragedies... huh. weird. Â
