I am, of the personal opinion (and you can always disagree with me), that nothing important happened during the two day timeskip and it really was just a way to save time
#shout out to my something important happened during the timeskip believers yall are valid#but this is just how i see things#we as the audience dont need to be told everything that happened and what we see after the timeskip tells us what we need to know#we dont need to see the cali crew drive toward hawkins for two days because we already know it happened#we dont need to exactly how joyce and hop made it back to the states because the only important thing at that moment is that#they made it back#byler#if something really important did happen they would show us or mention it#such as max ending up in a coma which they did show us#idk thats how i see it
