#our funniest contrast is how quickly my emotional storms pass in comparison with hers#She’s always SHOCKED because my mom’s moods are slow to brew and slower to pass#we both HAVE them in a way that’s so shared but that sanguine Bingley-like turning on a DIME is so foreign to her#whereas Libby (Elinor) just never has emotional storms unless she’s pushed to the edge like Elinor in the book so she’s never shocked by me#but that’s the point of an Elinor the outbursts are rare.
