Eli: It had been months now since Eli broke up with the love of his life and a day didn’t go by without a single regret. It was still a mystery to him how he could get himself to do such a stupid thing. There was so many other ways the situation could’ve been solved and he knew that. He was just too stubborn to admit it, but mostly because he didn’t want to. He barely wanted to admit that he was the one who broke Jake’s heart along with his own because he was scared of some jerk that Jake wasn’t even worried about. He refused to believe that he was responsible for it all, but he was and that was nothing really to do now. But time had passed since then and he talked to Jake. It was rarely but the talks were there and surprisingly for Eli, their last conversation ended with Jake agreeing to meet Eli at his garden. It was the perfect opportunity to meet up with him since he was alone for the week and no one would come in the way for them. Eli had to see Jake; he had to be alone with him. He didn’t care if they would sit in complete silence, but he missed his presence like crazy. He had no idea how the day would go but he hoped it wouldn’t end up in a fight like their last one. Eli put on his black leather jacket as he walked down the stairs. “I’m going for a walk!” he shouted to his parents before making it out of the door. The cold breeze he felt from the win made him shove his hands down in his pocket as he walked faster in the direction of the garden where he would meet Jake. He was just a few meters from as he felt himself getting more nervous with every step. How he missed the place along with its memories. He took a deep breath before he entered the garden as he waited for Jake to show up.
