I have been seeing so much love for Scott Pilgrim, it’s amazing!! I’m loving it. I didn’t doubt Chris in this role. He was hilarious in the movie, and he “learned” to skateboard.

I think he should be more true to himself. Find roles that work for him instead of against him. And believe that he’s actually funny!

Kitt is the adoptive child of Holland and is a faller. He’s slowly finding his place in his new home dimension, wanting to protect it so it will never be like his birth dimension. He’s currently attending Opelucid Academy.

🍬 Personality 🍬

Kitt is incredibly shy and very easy to scare, frequently on edge. He’s also very obedient, straightening his back like a soldier when addressed by an authority figure, but he’s slowly growing out of this habit. When he’s finally comfortable with someone, he’s fiercely loyal and is usually the first to try and help others.

He also has a fear of pokemon, already fearing them since he came through the portal. His fear of pokemon doesn’t extend to fairy-type pokemon, oddly, finding comfort in their energy.

He also has a resting bitch face to try scaring pokemon.

🍬 Relationships 🍬

Holland is his adoptive father and the one who found him when he fell from the portal. Holland gave him a place to stay and saw him as an experiment at first, but slowly grew attached, eventually deciding to adopt him. He was happy to get Kitt enrolled in school and frequently tries helping Kitt find himself and learn about his new home, but he’s never told Holland anything about his home world, pretending to have amnesia in fear of being returned there.

Ilex is her aunt whom she doesn’t talk to much on account of Ilex living in Alola and Kitt in Unova. She’s kinda shy around her still but is slowly growing to be closer to her, and Ilex’s pokemon-inspired inventions are slowly helping Kitt get over her fear of pokemon.

Nya is her “Aunt-in-law” and Kitt was scared of her for a while since the moving-cat ear headphones from Ilex made Kitt think Nya was a pokemon for a while. She grew out of the fear but is still very silent since Nya is always followed by her rotom, AV. Nya wants to help Kitt since she reminds Nya of when she was a shy little girl who should’ve listened to her late sister’s advice about coming out of her shell and now regrets that her sister never got to see how confident she is now.

Kitt’s best friend is a girl named Maggie Blair (Who’s yet to be drawn 😅). They met in school and she was Kitt’s first friend, they became closer since Maggie had a habit of following around people she’d friends with. Oh, and Maggie is autistic, just putting that here since she doesn’t have a full bio… yet.

When Plumeria and Holland are a couple in a universe (as they are slowly becoming in my canon timeline), Plumeria is Kitt’s mother figure. Kitt was a little scared of Plumeria when Holland introduced her, but Plumeria’s big-sister energy slowly helped Kitt trust her more. Plumeria being a trainer also made them closer since she could mentor Kitt… and she helps Kitt to face her fear of pokemon by trying to scare pokemon right back, looking them dead in the eyes… which accidentally leads to Kitt developing a resting bitch face.

Toffee is a shiny swirlix that was gifted to Kitt when Holland told his dad (Kitt’s Grandpa, Angio) he adopted a kid who only liked fairy types, so Angio went out and caught his grandchild a Swirlix (lucky that it was a shiny one). Toffee is very sweet (badoom ching), but also a little mischievous, often stealing sweets to share with Kitt.

Pavlova is a whimsicott that Kitt caught himself. He was curious about catching a pokemon but was reminded of his fear until he found Pavlova and found it had some calming aura to it.

Strawberry Shortcake is a shiny Cutiefly (yes, I gave her two shinies, fight me) that he caught on a trip to Alola.

Holland was up late and working on the prototype of his ultra wormhole generator when he was knocked out by Lusamine. She heard Ilex mention her brother dabbled in the multiverse and ultra wormholes, and was now on a desperate final mission to leave the dimension where she was now despised and on the lam, and was able to hijack Holland’s device to escape the dimension through an unstable portal. The instability led to the opening of a second portal that pulled Kitt from her home dimension, and Holland was quick to locate the faller.

She was terrified at first, but Holland offered her some candy and to buy her some food, and she agreed. He asked her questions, but she didn’t answer any, making him assume she had amnesia but found she loved sweets… and decided to call her “Kitt” in absence of any other name, and it stuck. She’d later be adopted by him and gets enrolled at the Aspertia Trainer school where she gets to learn more about her new home world.

Bigger Community of Support

I was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Though, I have travel experience, my home has always been Wisconsin. A few years ago, I moved out of my parents' home, but I only moved about 40 minutes away to a very small Wisconsin town called Manitowoc. The idea that I will be moving to California in less than two months is exciting and terrifying at the same time. (Click here to learn more about why I am moving)

I'm someone who loves a good adventure; I'm not afraid of new experiences or new places. However, this will be the very first time I have ever lived on my own, by myself. But this is an opportunity to learn more about myself and what I am capable of. This is the perfect time to test my limits because I am young. I am a revert Muslim (click here to read the story of how I became Muslim.) One thing that excites me about moving is that the state of California has more Muslims than any other state in the USA. I will be living in Walnut Creek, which is in the Bay area of Northern California, near San Francisco. I've already found a masjid (mosque) located less than 10 minutes walking from my apartment, called the Walnut Creek Islamic Center (WCIC). I've emailed them and they look forward to my arrival and have assured me that I am not alone.

In Wisconsin, on the other hand, the closest masjid was an hour away from me, which was definitely not ideal. I felt distanced from my Muslim brothers and sisters and I could not attend masjid for prayer as often as I would have liked. In California, though, I imagine that I will be able to walk the WCIS for fajr (morning prayer), which was something I was never able to do in Wisconsin.

In addition, the WCIC seems to have a more active community than what I am used to in Wisconsin. They have potlucks and social dinners every Saturday evening. It seems like a friendly, supportive environment. What I am looking for is spiritual leadership and guidance, which I think that WCIC can offer me.
