Age Limit(As on 1 January 2018): Minimum - 18 Years Maximum - 40 Years Age Relaxation : a)SC/ST: Relaxable by 5 years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates. b) OBC-A/OBC-B: relaxable by 3 years for OBC-A or OBC-B candidates. c) Physically Disabled: relaxable by 8 years for Physically Disabled candidates. d) Ex-Serviceman (General): relaxable by 3 years after deduction of military service rendered from the actual age. e) Ex-Serviceman (OBC-A/OBC-B): relaxable by 6 years after deduction of military service rendered from the actual age. f) Ex-Serviceman (SC/ST) relaxable by 8 years after deduction of military service rendered from the actual age. Candidate with 40% or above disability will be treated as Physically Disabled Candidates. Reserved category candidates of states other than West Bengal will be treated as General.
