I want to preface, I used Google Translate, i will miss things. i tried to make it make sense with very minor edits and some notes here and there. feel free to point out mistakes, add context, add stage direction or emotions that might be needed. i tried to note everything down but im sure ive missed things.

How do i get this to unlock? I know it says like get to event story 6 to unlock but im on like level 19 of the event and i both skipped through and clicked through story 6 and nothing i clicked through all the stories again and nothing it cant mean the regular story cuz im on chapter 8 there and theres only 7 stories so beating chapter 6 of the event doesnt make sense cuz thats presumably how you unlock the harder difficulty

WBK Rebel Heroes Quick Review

So far I’ve gotten past the tutorial and have done 30 gacha pulls (3 pulls of 10) so I thought I wills write a quick review of it so far!

Can I play this game if I don’t speak/understand Japanese?

Yes! I don’t speak or understand Japanese past a 101 level and it’s pretty easy to grasp, especially because some things are in English and they also give you visual examples of gameplay not just written instructions (see below). That said if you have an iPhone just screenshot the text you’re confused about, highlight it in the SS and translate it from there. The translations can be a little confusing but you should get the gist

Are there any free pulls?

Yes! After you finish the tutorial you will get 1 free batch of 10 pulls (giving you 10 characters). After that each batch of 10 will cost 2.8k gems. Here’s an example of a completed batch and what the gacha screen looks like.

Can I pay for gems?

Yes it seems you can! Now I’m in the US and used my Japanese Apple ID to get the game so I haven’t tried to pay for any gems yet (idk if I will honestly 😭) but they do offer it. In fact it also looks like some pulls you can only do with paid gems. Here’s the pay structure

Is there voice acting?

I assume so! I say I assume so because no matter how high I turn my volume up I can’t hear anything and idk how to fix it 🙃

Final thoughts (for now)

There are a bunch of things I haven’t explored in this game, but being that it was a Japanese gacha the questions I answer here were the ones I personally was most curious about/anxious about. There are cute little features like a text group chat where the characters send stickers like in the show and there are missions you can do (for what I assume will give you free gems). Idk what the drop rate is or what the pool of characters are but I haven’t been looking too deeply to find out. I’ll come back later and add onto this but those are my first impressions for now! Pretty easy game play so far and I’ve already gotten some of my faves! Things are looking pretty good!
