Battle of the Bands

After a night of fun and incredible music, we are so proud to announce that we came in 2nd place winning $500 in the Battle of the Bands! Only losing by one point to a great band in Indian Opinion!

We have been together for five months, which is such a proud feat for us participating with such class act bands that have spent years together. We are going to continue to strive to make the best music we can!

Huge thanks to Howard’s Club H and 88.1 WBGU-FM for making this event possible! We are so excited for what happens next for us. If you all could, please share our music! Thank you to all!

Spent some time today at my old college. The media production (formerly telecommunications) program is moving to a new facility in the fall, so the college radio stations invited all the alumni back to look around and see what things look like today. The studios are looking so great, it’s a shame they’re going to be knocked down when the building is going to be demolished later this year. There was also a reception in room 121, the main lecture hall in West Hall. From where I was sitting (picture #2), I managed to pass the intro 100 level course with a B despite reading the newspaper all semester.

And as picture #3 shows, the grand tradition of having your breakfast in class continues to this day.

My radio station held a 5k today and I love the winning shirt design, in all his hipster-man bun glory!

Tonight's theme is "How about some sadcore?" (basically an anti-Valentine's Day thing) though the guy I like will be giving love advice on the air throughout and I'm really tempted to call into the show but I've decided that's a really bad idea and I'm sticking to that
