What to do when struck on a topic of WBCS
Introduction:
A topic or sub-topic is often stuck in the mind of any candidate preparing for competitive exams like the WBCS. It could be a tricky concept in history or a confusing formula in math. But the most important issue is that this could break your smooth study flow. On the other hand, it is the best WBCS coaching institute in Kolkata, Avision Institute, trains students with effective strategies to eliminate such obstacles and keep moving.
The ultimate guide to how to deal with when you're stuck on a WBCS topic is this.
Tumblr media
1. De-stress by reviewing the basics
At times it happens just because the base isn't strong. Even in case of getting stuck, reviewing the basics of that topic is helpful. Relieving older notes and beginner level resources prove useful in this case. Students in Avision Institute are always advised to frequently review the basics, which is a part of the study plan presented by top WBCS coaching in Kolkata.
2. Break the Topic Down
Large problems can be overwhelming if contemplated as a single unit. If you feel that you can't cope with it, then split the subject matter into little sections. Systematically go through each little part and attempt to grasp one aspect at any given time. Most of the time, breaking massive subjects into minute parts makes it easier to get a comprehensive understanding of the whole concept in the long run.
3. Seek input
Another biggest advantage of joining a coaching institute is that the faculty is expert, and you can get hold of them immediately. If you feel that there is some problem or issue related to a particular topic, then you can seek their help at once. To ensure that no student remains puzzled for too long at Avision Institute, doubt-clearing sessions are incorporated as a part of the curriculum by the coaching institutes. The sooner you seek help the sooner the little confusions do not become big obstacles.
4. Participate in Group Discussions
Another method is reading or studying alone. This, at times, increases the feelings of being stuck. Group discussion or study sessions with peers are good to be done to understand the topic from a different perspective. Someone else may well express the concept in a manner that makes more sense to you. Group learning can be a mighty tool when overcoming obstacles. Avision Institute fosters students' learning with each other in a team environment and, because of that, makes it stand out as one among the best WBCS coaching in Kolkata.
5. Additional Resources
If those textbooks or notes aren't working, try supplementing your learning with other study materials. Sometimes you hear a different explanation or approach in online videos, tutorials, and articles that just clicks with you. Most of the time, supplementing your learning with these resources provides that ultimate "aha! moment when you cannot seem to get your head around something.
6. Take a Short Break
Sometimes you hit a mental block, and if you push too long, you will get burned out. That is all you need to come back to it with a fresh perspective. Sometimes getting out of there for a few minutes, taking a walk, doing some breathing exercises, even if it's a power nap, you come back, and in most cases, everything will fall into place when you start back over the topic with a relaxed mindset.
7. Try Teaching the Topic
One of the most effective ways to secure that grasp would be teaching it to someone else-whether that person is a friend, a family member, or talking out loud to yourself. Taking time away from writing down how it works and instead speaking out the topic in one's own words can even identify those gaps in knowledge and solidify what he or she does know. This also helps break up complex ideas into simpler terminology and aids in understandability.
8. Consistency in Practice
The topic will be more problem-solving or numerical if it is. Regular practice attempts at mock tests can act as a weapon over challenges. Though you are stuck at this moment, practice consistently can make you master it in time. Avision Institute has various forms of mock tests and practice materials to guarantee students get well geared for all the aspects of WBCS.
9. Panic Not—It Is a Phase
One gets stuck, and it is part of the game in learning, especially in preparation for competitive exams such as WBCS. Instead of panicking, tell yourself that everyone gets stuck. The way out of it, though, is to remain unbroken and make use of tools and strategies that are there. Success at the WBCS exam is certainly not getting stuck but knowing how to get out of being stuck.
Conclusion
When you are preparing for the WBCS exam, then facing several difficult topics, that makes you believe that you are not able to cross any hurdle. But if you have some systematic approach with proper material, then you can somehow overcome those barriers. If you revisit your base and try to seek help from an expert, then being honest with your efforts, then you can push through anything. The best WBCS coaching in India, such as Avision Institute, would provide not only academic preparation but also support and strategies to face difficult topics with confidence. All in all, patience with dedication will certainly follow success.

#OnThisDay in 2002 Oscar De La Hoya vanquished Fernando Vargas in glorious grudge match at the Mandalay Bay in Vegas. Legend has it nine years previous, amid the snow caps of Big Bear Mountain, California, one of boxing’s most ferocious and genuine rivalries peaked for the first time. De La Hoya reportedly mocked Vargas, who had slipped over on an icy trail. The innocuous incident, which occurred during separate training camps, would haunt “El Feroz” and articulate a protracted feud, which reached fever pitch by fight night. In 1997, Vargas was drafted in to Pernell Whitaker’s training camp, as Whitaker fought De La Hoya. The “Golden Boy” took a unanimous decision, much to the dissatisfaction of his bitter California rival. This fight was aptly billed as "Bad Blood.” De La Hoya's nose was bleeding by the end of the fifth round, while Vargas was bleeding from a cut under his right eye by the seventh. De La Hoya would gain control and stunned Vargas with a left hook at the end of the 10th round. Vargas was knocked down early in the 11th round by a brilliant left hook, before referee Joe Cortez stopped the fight with Vargas pinned to the ropes under a fusillade of De La Hoya punches. It had the second-largest grossing live gate in history for a non-heavyweight fight. De La Hoya added Vargas’ WBA light-middleweight title to his WBC version. Vargas was suspended nine months and fined $100,000 by testing positive for steroids after this fight. #boxing #BoxingNews #BoxingHistory #DeLaHoyaVargas #OscarDeLaHoya (at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino) https://www.instagram.com/p/BntKEnjBYXQ/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1103m48ffqjfb

Anthony Joshua needs to thrill America with a quick and brutal KO of Andy Ruiz
The Anthony Joshua gravy train will pick up its biggest haul or bullion yet when it makes a letter stop at Penn Station on Saturday night.
It is estimated that Britain's world heavyweight champion will collect some £ 18million for defending his titles in the hallowed hall of Madison Square Garden, which is situated above this bustling Manhattan railway terminus.
Joshua's US debut in the mecca of boxing is expected to be a quick-fire affair against the short, rotund, albeit hyperactive Mexican -American Andy Ruiz Jr., who is a 20-1 underdog with some bookmakers.
Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz fight in New York's Madison Square Garden on Saturday
The British heavyweight has come a long way from the earnings when the first turned pro
No matter how soon it is over, Joshua's income will maintain its orderly pace of growing by £ 2m each time he climbs into the ring.
The uniform scale of his pay rises has been registered against these preceding challengers for his unified collection of alpha belts: Wladimir Klitschko £ 10m, Joseph Parker £ 12m, Carlos Takam £ 14m, Alexander Povetkin £ 16m.
Joshua and his promoter Eddie Hearn are coy about the sums but exchanged banter here when recalling the purse for his first professional fight, the year after his gold medal triumph at the London Olympics.
"How much was that?" Joshua asks. "About 20 or 25 thousand if I remember, AJ," Hearn replied.
"I think I only got 15 grand, you cheating b ******, Eddie," said Joshua with one of his typical belly-laughs.
They can both smile broadly now. Despite all the problems with finding an opponent this time – negotiations with Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury foundered yet again and then Jarell Miller failed a trio of drug tests – they are ready to light up Broadway and launch Joshua into the American market. This has been made possible by what Ruiz labels: "The first big title fight made on Instagram."
Ruiz, 29, who is hoping to "make history as Mexico's first world heavyweight champion" explains.
"I saw what happened with Big Baby Miller so as soon as I won my last fight I messaged Eddie and told him I was still in fighting shape, in training and would come to fight for my life. For war. "
AJ has a massive height advantage but should not be underestimated on Saturday
The financial history of that negotiation also makes interesting reading . Ruiz says, "There was some talk of me fighting Joshua more than a year ago and they were going to offer me $ 30,000 (£ 24k) if it happened back then."
Now, as the savior of the show, he is believed to be on $ 6m (£ 4.76m) and he vows to earn his money the hard way.
Ruiz knows he will be mocked for his squat, chubby build. But he has lost only once – debateably on the scorecards in a world title bid against Parker in New Zealand – has never stopped and says: "AJ will find me a totally different ball game when the first bell goes."
Just in case Ruiz can live up to ambitions far loftier than his height – he claims 6ft 2in but looks barely six feet when next to the 6ft 6in champion – Joshua has done his homework. He says: "This guy knows how to fight, better than Miller and more dangerous.
" From the start he will stab to the body with his left, the child or shot which can slow you down if it lands properly. He has a good guard and he picks his shots accurately from behind that defense. Most of the time he doesn't waste energy but he has a change of pace when he suddenly throws punches in bunches. "
The size differential will be exaggerated by Ruiz's low crouch but Joshua says:" That doesn ' t make it any easier. I prefer fighting tall men. Little guys are a nightmare. You lose some power to hit down at them and the punches to skim off them. It's hard to knock them out. "
The contrast in body types can be deceiving and the Mexican is a capable fighter
The heavyweight champion insists it's easier to fight one's size rather than smaller
There is a lean, taut look to his body which confirms Joshua seriously and he says: "This is chance for me to come into lithe and be more fluid with my boxing."
Acceptance in America will demand more than that. A thriller. A brutal stoppage. If possible, in the Garden, a throwback to the epic first fight of the Muhammad Ali-Joe Frazier trilogy.
They called that The Fight Of The Century. Joshua is eager to be engaged in The Fight Of The New Century but realizes that has been put back, at the very least, by rival Wilder choosing to defend his WBC belt next in a rematch with Luis Ortiz.
He worries that Wilder may forfeit for both of them 'the most massive risk and reward fight ever' by losing. For his part he is focused on ensuring he does not slip up on Saturday's banana skin.
Joshua denies that he is feeling pressure to match Wilder's spectacular first-round knockout victory over Dominic Breazeale in New York a fortnight ago, even though a messy struggle would not immediately make him marketable this side of the Atlantic, engaging though he is of personality.
"I must fight as it presents itself," he says. "Go about my business. Take the KO if it comes. Above all get the win, which is always what matters most. "
If that proves beyond him it is really a disaster but it is hard to conceive or Joshua not being the first to put Ruiz away. The prospect of which should encourage the folk back home to stay awake after the Champions League final.
Ruiz has promised to start fast and Joshua will have to be wary of the huge left hook
Joshua needs to shake off his tendency to start slowly, since Ruiz vows to come out all guns blazing in hope of landing the left hook which is his most concussive weapon. If the Mexican warrior is as good as his word he may well leave himself open to early destruction.
Eight thousand British fans are reported to be en route. Expect them to be roaring and America impressed by an AJ victory inside four rounds.
After that he will be looking again for the best opponent available, in the absence of Wilder or Tyson Fury, to join him in the Principality Stadium in November
One certainty come that night is that Joshua's wages will rise again by a good deal more than the cost of living. No wonder he can afford to fight only twice a year.
Joshua v Ruiz Jr. is live on Sky Sports Box Office late on Saturday night / Sunday morning.
