YESSSSS my Halloween order from @waywardstation came in!! Picked up some charms for a pair of friends to take advantage of the discount, oh these are such cute charms, I'm so glad I managed to have a lil spare change for these!! ;w; The bat clips are such a lovely little touch, and these definitely feel like sturdy lil guys!

And omg, all the little bonuses were such a pleasant surprise!! (Editor's note: the joltik plushie was not included in the bonuses lol I've had that for like 7 years.) The joltik clip is also so cuuuute, I'm tempted to super glue a magnet onto it so I can put it around my desk :3c

I got a lot of stuff in from @waywardstation's shop over the weekend, and forgot to post about it!

I got the Nimbasa Trio stickers, Gear Station Logo pin, lanyard charms, Submas stickers, and small little phone/keychain charms! They're all beautiful, and such high quality! Wayward's art is already amazing, and now her merch is beating even that! You should go check out the pre-orders she has up right no- Wait.

Are... Are there more charms? Why are there more charms???

oh god I have an infestation........ I'm gonna have to find a home for these sweet little Nimbasa Trio Charms, aren't I? :)

The brain worms got me

@waywardstation 's Phione Akari AU got a strangle hold on me and I had to do something about it!

First page felt rough, I was getting used to drawing a phione in general but luckily by the second page I got it down for the most part, Ingo is basically second nature to me now XD

I cant wait to see more bits of story with the AU its such a cute and fun idea!!

Please Info dump about your Forward In Time AU!! The premise, events, characters, anything you’d like!!

Okay so the basic premise can be found here and here, with more details in the tag, but basically Ingo and the protagonist can go back home, but there’s a catch: they have to live out their lives in Hisui first. Then Arceus will put their souls back in the present and erase all memories of their time in Hisui. They agree, but this bites them in the ass later when they are moved back to the present and eventually learn what happened. Ingo has no real clue if he should let Emmet know what happened, since it’s really difficult to explain something like that to him. On the other hand, he knows that he can’t keep secrets from Emmet, and his brother won’t accept “I don’t want to talk about it” even though Ingo genuinely doesn’t want to disclose this stuff until he can fully process it and talk on his own terms. Cue conflict as Emmet refuses to back off. Meanwhile the protag is having a nervous breakdown because they/their other self had to give up their entire family, and decided to defer the dilemma to their future self. Also they’re an actual child. Sorry I’m rambling.

EDIT: other noteworthy events include Ingo starting a family in Hisui (in my head with Zisu) and thus having actual descendants who he could meet. And he can’t decide if he should meet them or not since it’s so unbelievable. Plus if he dated a person now would that be cheating on his wife?

Honestly not sure how I feel about the overall final product but I am happy with my Garchomp! I absolutely love the way you drew Jörmun, he just looks so particularly imposing that I ended up drawing him completely differently to how I probably otherwise would have drawn a Garchomp lol

What started off as a collection of sketches turned into this short, sketchy comic based on the climax & cool down of the story (the latter being the part I reread the most). I really love genuinely good men who end up being a found father to someone who needs help, & just about every fic Wayward made about Ingo & Akari does just that.

When I played Legends Arceus, I think I might’ve had the Volo twist spoiled for me? I can’t remember. It made me wonder if I could’ve, as Ingo does in the story, see him for what he was. Wayward very astutely points out how his behavior is very predatory; that alone tells me I probably would’ve been unnerved at least.

Meanwhile, Mizumi probably would’ve been taken by surprise as Akari was in the story (maybe?) - an idea to explore at another time!
